This is a great news outlet for all things environment-related, they should keep up the good and consistent work!

Grist is the very best source of environmental news which is unbaised by journalistic fears of corporate client retribution so common among the rest of the media. All meat, no potatoes - unless you are vegan.

Grist is one of the finest sources of environmental news and commentary. The non-profit's irreverent, humorous take on green topics makes it one of the most accessible and informative Web-based publications around.

Grist provides a valuable service by collating this information. The public needs to know this stuff and here we can find so much in one place about food safety, farming, environmental issues, and more. The info I find here informs my choices on a daily basis, and I share information I've found here with many people. The articles are insightful, funny, and incisive. Bravo and good luck to them.

Grist provides the general public with easy to understand, yet in depth, reporting on national and internations evironmental topics across all sectors. I always look forward to reading the articles and newsletters, which often lead me to more research on issues I didn't know much about before seeing them in Grist.

Grist allows environmental issues to be explained in lay terms using something we all need more of...humor. It touches on the breaking news, but also digs deep into the problems that may not be in your face. The email alerts give you the abilty to see what is going on and read further if you choose. It has been my source of environmental information for years and I will go nowhere else. I have been informed about the harm of BPA's and aspartame; thanks to Grist, I can be a better consumer for the environment and my health and the health of my family.

Grist informs the public about environmental issues with a twist - a great sense of humor that is lacking in other news websites. As I learn about issues that are important to me I also laugh at their witty and smart writing that really appeals to me. Sarcasm and wit make Grist stand out and a resource I trust and visit daily.

An excellent source of "green" information, which is useful to me both personally and professionally. Highly recommended.

Grist is a remarkable publication. It has a combination of covering some of the most distressing news in the country, and then uses just enough humor to make reading it palatable. It has substantially changed both my interest and knowledge of environmental issues.

I read Grist everyday. It is my "go to " source of information. Their staff works non-stop to keep it's readers abreast of all the latest news regarding the environment; as well as health and safety issues. They do all this with a sense of humor that can make even the most frustrating and seemingly hopeless news bearable.

I can always count on Grist to keep me up to date on a wide range of environmental issues going on throughout not only the USA, but the world. I find their articles are very well written and can be great stumbling blocks to find other related pieces, and provide you with lots of background information as to how it was written and to find out more.

I cannot imagine my weekly inbox without a grist update.

Grist is important to me because it not only reports how bad things are, but also highlights the quest for green alternatives that lets me know everyone hasn't given in to the corporate machine.

I am fortunate to be a busy stay at home mom, of two teen-aged daughters, who is trying to get them into adulthood knowing how to avoid cancer causing foods, products, etc. as well as seek out things that are going to prevent the C word. We have no history of cancer on my side of the family, but my mother-in-law passed away when my youngest was two from cancer that had spread from breast cancer. In my busy life, the Weekly Grist in my inbox stops me for a few minutes or more to focus on new information about cancer causing things and so much more. I truly appreciate their work and the information they seek out and pass along so we can make educated choices and learn about other environmental issues. I so appreciated the existence of Grist!!!

I enjoy reading Grist articles not only for the information, but for the fact that they will often make you aware of opinions from both sides. They give you interesting facts regarding current topics that interest their audience as well as supporting articles and references.
Grist is a good place to stop for information about green politics.

I read Grist's newsletters for many reasons. I learn a great deal about environmental issues, and I get a few laughs while learning. I thought I knew a lot about being green and environmentally aware, but every time I read any Grist article, I learn something new and useful for my everyday life. I love Grist!

Grist is a great source of environmental news that doesn't always make it into other news sources. It's also great because the humour makes the doom and gloom more tolerable.

I love Grist. It covers everything a person with green inclinations needs to know from topics in science and technology, food policy, national and state level politics as well as green dating and parenting/non-parenting. A very enlightening news source that delivers the both goo news and bad news with a healthy dash of humor.
