Many years ago we adopted our darling Chestnut the rabbit from F5RS and he was a joy and delight. We are so grateful for the sanctuary for making him possible in our lives! The sanctuary staff were so helpful in every way, especially in setting up a meet and greet with our bachelorette Britannia to see if she and Chestnut were a good match. Thankfully they were and were a happy couple for many years.

f5rescue We loved Chestnut and were so happy he got to fall in love with Britannia and be a part of such a loving home! I remember their meet & greet clearly and how happy we were to meet his future family.

Frisky Ferrets, Fuzzies and Feathered Friends Rescue Sanctuary (F5RS) is a remarkable organization. They are dedicated to the rescue of rabbits and other small animals as well as the education of the public. Through their "Bunnies in Baskets" program, specially trained and certified therapy rabbits visit seniors in nursing homes, autistic children, and libraries where they host a "Read to a Bunny" program. No animal charity works harder to be financial independent then they do. Through the efforts of "Mama Bun", Sassy Pickard, F5RS runs an online store which features hand crafted jewelry and other items, attends craft shows and swap meets, all in a effort to fund the rescue. It is a pleasure to help a group that goes above and beyond to help themselves to help animals.

I cannot say enough good things about F5RS. The amazing work they do with rescuing and rehoming small animals such as bunnies and guinea pigs is heroic. What makes them different from so many other rescues is they go out of their way to be self-sufficient. They run an on-line store, do flea marketing and craft shows to raise money to support their efforts. In addition, they do therapy work through their "Bunnies in Baskets" certified therapy buns. These specially trained rabbits visit nursing homes, adult workshops and autistic children. Sassy Pickard and her board members are tireless in their efforts. Please help them help others through this rescue and sanctuary.

I am the Lead Educator for Colorado House Rabbit Society and I have seen this rescue step up many times and help the general public with information about rabbits. They know what they are doing and have a great reputation. Really great Rescue.
