Just got our 3 call from "Steve". After our initial conversation of 45 seconds "Steve" ended the call. While still on the phone confused, my husband says hello. And "Steve" repeats the last sentence all over again out of nowhere. Long story short we played around with different responses to "Steve's" questions. "Steve" is a computer designed to respond to your answers. Try it next time he calls. If you ask to speak with "his" supervisor, you will get a real person. Explained again how my husband is unemployed and he still tried to con my husband out of $20.
As most of the reviews that preceded me, I usually do not answer calls that I do not recognize, but they were calling me several times a day, I answered to tell them I want off their calling list. They started off by saying they knew that I had said "NO" to them before but "would I reconsider." That's an indicator they will never stop, no matter what you say to them. So I blocked them, but they will probably just change numbers. As a veteran, I applaud those who want to help. But if you want to help veterans there are many legitimate organizations which really do help. I just don't think this is one of them.
I'm all for the veterans; however, I cannot tell if who called is legitimate or not, as they kept asking for my card number, which I would not give out on the phone. I did tell them I would not pay, unless I see proof. I did receive an invoice, but to be honest with you, I'm still not sure if it's legitimate or not.
Received a call from this organization, they asked if they were speaking to Kimberlee I said yes, they stated who they were, there was a brief silence and they asked if I was still there I said yes, he then asked if I would make a $30 donation, I hung up. For some reason I thought I'd better check my bank account, sure enough they had charged my bank $95. I cancelled my card and to be on the safe side I will need to close this account and get another one, because I really do not know if they used my card or my actual account #. this is really frustrating. this is prbably how the are going to get the # on our foreheads. The only way to be sure you are the one purchasing whatever is being purchased. its your # on your forehead, so you had to have purchased it. the are the biggest scammers, they SUCK!!!
This company keeps calling non stop and asking for my mother, my mom died last August way to rub salt in my wounds assholes!! And they won't stop either.
If you don't keep calling me I'm turning you in to every agency I can find and the police. Knock it off.
I wish I could give a zero star ! Don't even answer the phone ! These people are total cheats ! When you say not interested, they call back and say Hi twice and then hang up. They also call you back and when you answer the phone they hang up. They donate 6% of what they collect to Veterans, what a shame ! They should all be in jail !
At least three times a day this name and number 1-606-930-9127 "FOUND AMER VETS" has shown on my caller ID at least the last week. I had answered it once and had a small conversation with a male. I tried telling him not to call back. He started talking louder then me and said okay will try later bye. He then hung up. He heard my request. I have twice turned their number in. I not only told them that but several times to stop calling. My requests each and everyone were denied. I no longer answer my phone. I do keep a record of calls and times though. I will keep writing and doing what I need to do to stop this harassing nuisance of a profit only for their bank account only charity. Please do not answer when you see that number. Do not donate. Maybe keep an ongoing record. Turn them in. If you can block them block them. Even if you ask nicely they will keep doing what they want because they are relentless, greedy, people. Please just ignore and do not donate.
