They called and asked for me by name. Asked for a donation for these vets that were badly in need. I told the guy I am a VietNam vet with Agent Orange, and terminal Cancer. He ignored me after what I just said to him. I asked him how do I get on his list to get some of these funds. Since I am on SSDI. Again he ignored me, and kept asking for money for these vet's in need. They call 4 to 6 times a day. After he asked again I asked him if he ever heard this before.. I hung up on him.

They call constantly from different numbers. They are NOT APPROVED BY THE IRS. Their tactics are not ethical and I can't find any records of their overhead or how much actually goes towards any "charitable" activity. They seem to be using a 3rd party fundraiser which is a GIANT RED FLAG for me. My personal mantra is to give to a LOCAL charity in my own community that I have vetted and found to have less that a 20% overhead or at least 80% of the donations actually are used for charitable activity. THAT'S MY EVALUATION OF THIS GROUP. STAY AWAY.

I wrote to the person that is supposed to be the head of this organization and he replied saying they would call until I answered the phone. It's simply a telemarketing company that will harasses you until it gets a reply. I think there's a need for the Vet's returning home, but this is not the way to give it. Contact a local USO and ask how you can help.
