EESI gives the most balanced, useful, complete and relevant information on topics concerning the environment and energy. I use their fact sheets and white papers all the time for my work within these fields. EESI is the Go To organization.
EESI hosts great briefings and provides consistently great updates on environmental issues, agendas, policies. If you're able to attend one of their sessions in person instead of just receiving newsletters, it is an awesome experience. I highly recommend it! Great nonprofit providing the latest information and access to the experts and policymakers at the forefront of environmental issues!
EESI is consistently an excellent organization to work with and learn from. They organize a plethora of interesting and informative briefings on the Hill, providing reliable straightforward information to stakeholders and decision makers in the energy and environment fields. Carol Werner is an active and very well respected member of the energy and environment policy community in Washington, DC, and her organization is held in the same high regard. I'd encourage anyone and everyone to contribute to and learn from EESI.
EESI is a great, knowledgeable, thoughtful organization keeping us up to date on climate change related information, often with policy insights. Weekly newsletters such as Sustainable Bioenergy, Farms, and Forests, along with well-managed, intelligent briefings on Capitol Hill provide opportunities to hear and ask questions of experts in diverse fields covering a wide range of topics.
EESI has earned great respect on Capitol Hill over decades for quality, expert-based briefings, forums and publications developed to enhance understanding and informed response to climate change. Staff and materials provide a foundation for in-depth analysis and strategy development for mitigating and adapting to the effects of climate change by a myriad of audiences.
As executive director of an organization dedicated to advocating for understanding, development and use of advanced biofuels as an alternative to petroleum, EESI's briefings, forums, newsletters, connections to decision-makers for policy, advocacy and industry constantly and consistently proves valuable in my work.
EESI staff retain a healthy skepticism and open mind as they help the world, particularly the US, explore evolving information about causes, effects and solutions or responses to climate change.
This organization must continue serving as a crucial guide to the multi-dimensional world of conscientious policy-making and social and business/industrial related to climate change.
EESI should not only continue its current work, but expansion would benefit its value to all of us. There's so much to do. EESI's valuable considered contribution, the expertise it has developed over decades and its culture of evaluation and promotion of wide-ranging ideas must continue. I urge all to do whatever is in your power to make this happen.
EESI provides very informative webinars and a newsletter that helps me keep up with issues that are impacting the developoment of renewable energy.
EESI's Sustainable Bioenergy, Farms, and Forests newsletter is an excellent end-of-week summary of the most timely and relevant topics with the potential to positively and negatively impact bioenergy and other clean technology development and deployment. In addition to capturing important headlines, EESI adds their own perspective to important issues and helps to frame the concerns with fact-based information. This outreach tool is a valuable mechanism for building awareness.
EESI supports their policy analysis with scientific basis. Their briefings are excellent tools for educating decision-makers and the public in general.
EESI puts on great events to bring together industry, non-profit, government, and academics in the renewable energy industry. It plays a vital role and has a much higher profile than many other non-profits in this space.
