Mission: The Elizabeth Stone House partners with adult and child survivors of domestic violence and related trauma – mental illness, housing instability and substance misuse – to achieve safety, stability, and overall wellbeing, thereby contributing to the strength, resiliency, and health of the community we serve.

Geographic areas served: Greater Boston

Programs: The Elizabeth Stone House provides: Emergency shelter for individuals and families fleeing domestic violence Transitional housing for homeless individuals and families affected by domestic violence, mental illness and substance abuse Wrap-around services including support groups and classes for both Stone House and neighborhood residents Financial literacy and job search classes Therapeutic child care, client advocacy, and family-centered activities for the children of our adult clients.

A domestic violence survivor back in 2006. The Elizabeth Stone House helped me move up and on in a supportive environment. I participated in the Wilderness Heals Hike, as well. Which only increased my internal strength and confidence, with the leadership provided.
