Nonprofit Overview

Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animals

Mission: We envision a time when every dachshund in Georgia has a loving home for its entire life. We believe that the welfare of our companion animals is an indication of the health of our society. We see the current welfare of our companion animals as a disease. To treat the symptoms of this disease, we rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dachshunds in need. To treat the causes of this disease, we educate the public on compassionate dog guardianship of any breed. We want to have a deep, direct impact in a limited geographic area, rather than a small impact in a large geographic area. We raise as much as we spend. At least 90% of our funds are spent directly on medical care for dogs. We put the welfare of our dogs first. We will not take in a dog that we cannot adequately care for. We document our processes, so that our successes can be replicated with other groups. In this way we can have a broader geographic impact over time. Volunteers, foster homes and board members are all non-funded and unpaid.

I would absolutely recommend adopting a dog from DREAM! My husband and I are about to adopt our second DREAM dog. The communication is excellent and we love that all of the dogs are cared for by amazing foster families first so you get an idea of their personalities and needs. Forever supporter here!!!

This non-profit is truly professional. All the volunteers take their responsibilities very seriously. After completing our application, our references were contacted, we had a thorough conversation regarding expectations and our home was visited to determine that it was safe, and worthy of a placement. It was made clear (in an extremely positive way) that a dog will only be placed in a safe, loving, and capable environment. We feel so fortunate to have found such a loving match! I cannot say enough about Dream and Cinda :)

We have had great experiences with DREAM dachshund rescue. Over the years, we have adopted three dogs from DREAM. The foster parents do an amazing job of getting the dogs ready for adoption. The dogs often come to rescue with medical and/or behavioral problems which would make finding a forever home very difficult. These folks really go above and beyond to get them the best possible veterinary care, and to work on their behavioral issues.
They are dedicated, compassionate, and hardworking people who volunteer their time out of love for these little dogs.

What a true blessing this organization and the dedicated members are. We had adopted our special gift Thomas. He had special needs but was such a wonderful blessing. He passed away 3 months ago. April was Thomas's Foster mom and such a loving person. Sharing they news with them that Thomas had passed away we received such emotional support and love from them. Then I reached out to Kim who is truly a doxies Godmother. She introduced us to a wonderful bundle of joy we named Sir Winston. We miss Thomas deeply but I felt in my heart he approves of welcoming Winston. Thank you to his Foster Mom and Dad.

This outstanding organization deserves any and all awards for their dedication and unselfish giving to take care of all doxies in need. I happen to believe they are special angels doing exceptional work.

Thank you to you all for what you do. JIM, JEFF and Sir Winston

DREAM Dachshund Rescue is a blessing to us and our sweet Dash. In early October, IVDD decided to rear its ugly head with Dash. Within days of his diagnosis, DREAM was there to educate us about IVDD and possible treatment options. When we opted for surgery DREAM was there post-op to educate us about his recovery. Four weeks post-op, Dash had a second IVDD episode. At the second episode, we did not have means to give Dash a second IVDD surgery, which meant Dash, four years old, was going to live the remainder of his life immobile in his rear legs because the herniated disc was pressed against his spinal cord. Heartbroken, we shared this news with our DREAM support team. The next day, two of their volunteers came by separately to help educate us on how to express Dash’s bladder because we weren’t having success ourselves. The first attempt was unsuccessful because Dash hadn’t been drinking enough water earlier in the day. The second attempt to express his bladder was successful even though Dash was reluctant to participate. This was because Dash still had control of his bladder. The same day we received a call from Dash’s surgeon offering to cap the costs of a second procedure. We jumped at the opportunity to get him the medical attention he needed, a second chance to get back on his feet! We also learned that someone donated his first six post-op acupuncture and red light therapy treatments. Due to the kind-hearted souls at DREAM, who asked Dash’s surgeon questions that we didn’t think to, Dash’s surgeon’s practice connected us with another non-profit who helped raise money and donated to Dash’s second procedure. To say DREAM had a hand in helping Dash get back on his feet is an understatement. We are excited to get Dash healed and give back to such a great nonprofit like DREAM Dachshund Rescue!

We adopted our sweet boy from DREAM. They did an excellent job matching us with the right dog. They are thoughtful and vet prospective adopters with care to ensure a good match and a healthy home for all of their dogs. They also take in IVDD dogs. Not all rescues are willing to invest in rehab. But they are dedicated to helping dogs in need.

Within a few months we lost our two beloved dachshunds. They had each attained 17 years of age and captured our hearts. We knew we needed another dachshund to love and add to our family and that’s when we discovered Dream Dachshund Rescue. We completed the online application and received a phone call right away. The DDR organization had a local person who just happened to be fostering a male dachshund that seemed to be the one we were looking for. A meet and greet at our home proved that we had indeed found our new fur baby.
Dream Dachshund made the process so easy and the foster mom was such a pleasure to work with. She is always there to offer suggestions and support if we need them. We will continue to donate to the rescue and to adopt from them in the future. This team is so amazing and passionate about rescuing dachshunds in need. We are so happy that we found this rescue and we are so thankful for all the work they do to find forever homes for these precious pups.

My relationship with DREAM Dachshund Rescue began in March 2013. They had a dachshund named Caramel Sunday up for adoption. She was a beautiful red, long hair dachshund, with sweet but sad eyes. She was in a loving foster home after being dumped at a shelter because of her age and mobility issues.
DREAM's vet determined she had mammary cancer, and it was inoperable. Her life expectancy was 12 months. I saw her and felt like she was meant to be my baby. After all, I lost my only children, twins, a mere two years before, so I was accustomed to loss. I felt my life experience gave me the edge to provide her with a loved filled life, no matter how long it was.
I was blessed to have Caramel Sunday for 6 months. She had her own Facebook page, documenting the last month of her life. Her legacy opened up my heart to hospice, senior, and special needs dogs. I'm thankful to the team at DREAM for allowing me to give Caramel Sunday, and three other senior pups a wonderful life, full of love and happiness.

We adopted a special needs boy named Boone. But he doesn’t think his needs are all that special. Without DREAM Rescue and his foster mom this fantastic boy wouldn’t have gotten his second chance at life. He is an IVDD survivor because DREAM and his foster mom believed in him. His foster mom has been very patient with us learning how to take of him. This wouldn’t have been possible without the life saving surgeries he needed. DREAM did all the hard work with surgeries and all the rehabilitation he needed to live his best life! Thank god DREAM had the funds to make that happen. So donations are key to save little lives like Boone. They all deserve to be a DREAM dog!

After nearly 12 years with one dog, we finally decided we had regretted not getting a second one to go with her. We were a little nervous because our dog did not have much experience with other dogs, but DREAM's profiles allowed us to find another miniature dachshund around the same age that was smaller than her. Their bio's were helpful for understanding what the dog was like and if they had any issues to be aware of (in the case of Idgie, it was that she was prone to seizures and would need medicine). Her and a few other dogs from this rescue seemed like great candidates for us, however, we live in Ohio and were not even sure it was possible to adopt from a Georgian rescue. After emailing for confirmation, we submitted an application and got to speak with a representative about which dogs may be fitting and the rest of the process. Amazingly, we discovered when we were approved that they had managed to secure enough drivers to get her an hour away from us! I doubt that will always be the case, but it was super impressive and we were so thankful.

Idgie, now Smidge, truly is a dream dog. She fits in so well with us that it feels like she has always been here. She seems to think she has too with the way she behaves. We are blessed to have been able to add such a perfect addition to our family who gets along well with our other girl!

This past year I had my 2 precious Dachshunds cross over the rainbow. I thought I needed a break from the heartbreak, but after 1 month, reached out to DREAM. I have adopted from them before and was so happy to know that they are diligent in ensuring that their precious rescue dachshunds are only adopted out to homes that are a good fit. Much to my surprise, DREAM had 2 perfect fur babies for me! My heart is full of laughter, love and joy again thanks to DREAM! It is with great pleasure that I donate to DREAM every year, as they have hearts of gold rescuing these sweet babies, enduring the huge costs of getting them back to good health, and placing them in good loving homes! We lost our last, & 19 year old, dachshund in January and thought we would wait to adopt another. However, we ran across DREAM’s website a few months later. We decided to follow them on Facebook. Needless to say, we fell for a couple of little older pups & submitted to adopt. Within a few days, we got a call to interview and were informed the pair we were interested in were already promised to someone else.
Fast forward a few weeks and we get a call from Kim asking if we’d be interested in a bonded pair of pups. They’d been used for breeding & then surrendered to a vet. DREAM took them after they’d cleared medical. After discussion, we agreed to a home visit.
We can’t thank Kim enough for the time, energy (not to mention gas money) she used up driving nearly an hour to bring Eleanor & Rigby to us! The dogs fit nicely into our home & lives.
Working with DREAM was a dream & we’re so happy to have our new doxies.

My husband completed the application process and a week later we were on the phone learning more about our sweet Goose. The foster parent & DREAM contact, Kim, was so helpful, knowledgeable, and kind throughout the entire process. She answered all of our questions and walked us through the adoption process. Kim was very clear on the behaviors of Goose and what to expect. She provided a neutral, safe, and thorough meet and greet for our other Dachshund Maverick to meet Goose. Kim continued to follow up on Goose's progress as he settled in at his new home. We are so happy with the process and our new family member! We are thankful to have found our little buddy and would highly recommend working with this non-profit!

My name is Kodi Book, and my wife Donna and our friend Paula live together in Lexington, GA (near Athens). Our DREAM story began with sadness: the passing of our beloved red miniature dachshund, Moe. He passed suddenly, and we were unprepared for the grief which followed. So, we made the decision (well, in reality I did) to seek out another rescued red dachshund to restore our family, and so after a time of searching the internet (and our local shelters) we reached out to DREAM. We were impressed with their focus on the dogs they were caring for, and particularly the efforts they took to ensure that all of their placements would be to good homes. With the kind help of Rebecca, Thomas and Angie (GREAT PEOPLE), we were introduced to a bonded PAIR of females: Peaches and Pickles. We hadn’t even considered adopting a pair of dogs, but these two have been a perfect fit for us, and we for them. The two of them joined with 3 other rescue dogs and one rescue cat here in our home, and happiness is abounding. THANK YOU DREAM Dachshund Rescue, for doing what you say you do, doing it competently and professionally, and sowing happiness in our home. Peaches and Pickles thank you too!

We stumbled on to Dream Dachshund Rescue. Our previous doxie was a rescue from another group which had withered away, probably due to the lack of volunteers, funding etc. A while after Casey (our rescue) left us, we started looking for another rescue and came across DDR. They were great at matching us up with our now 51/2 year old black and tan - Merkel. They (DDR) did all the usual - background checks, house visits, etc. and got to meet us and our, then elderly little girl doxie dog, Elsa. Merkel settled in wonderfully into our family (when she came to us, she was incredibly shy and we named her after Angela Merkel hoping that the name of a strong German woman would help and it has, in the sense that she is quite brave when she in inside and has protection). Elsa left us a couple of years ago, and when Covid hit, we started looking for another rescue and went to DDR. At that time, they did not have any young dogs but then contacted us when a number of puppies were rescued from a puppy mill. We got to meet a couple of them and adopted our second dog from DDR, who we renamed Wilhelmina, after the German empress). DDR, especially Becky Burns who fostered her, were great and candid about all the challenges of a puppy mill rescue, and we have found out all about that. After we adopted Willie, we had an incident when she panicked and ran away. We were able to find her later than evening, but in the meantime both Becky and Kristina (another DDR volunteer) drove into Atlanta from a long ways away to help us look. As I remember Kristina saying, "one a Dream Dachshund dog, always a Dream Dachshund dog". DDR has been a great organization to follow - we are big contributors/donors. We think they do wonderful work and are great kind hearted people. They are a role model to society at large and we need more people like them in this world. And, dachshunds are special - they rule our house. They are smart, they have terrific personalities and just make people smile when they are out walking. We are so glad DDR is around and we were fortunate enough to cross paths. (Attached is a picture of our babies - Merkel on the left and Wilhelmina on the right, taken about 11 mos after Willie came to our family)

DREAM Dachshund is an organization that goes above and beyond the call of duty to care for dachshunds in need of a home; whether the dachshund is perfectly healthy or struggling with any physical/emotional issues, DREAM never fails to find the right help and resources to match each dog with the forever home that is the best fit for the doxie and prospective owner! I adopted my Angelo in November 2014 a few months after my mother passed away, and he quickly became my very best and beloved companion for nearly seven years in all seasons of life. After he valiantly battled a brain tumor for 10 months and passed away in June 2021, DREAM helped me find a new love: Miss Edna, an amazing dachshund who was saved from a horrific puppy mill by DREAM. Edna is loving, sassy, curious, friendly, and essentially 11 pounds of pure SUNSHINE! DREAM knew she would be the right fit for my home and heart, and that I would be the best mother for Edna. She has fit right into our family, and we are elated and so very proud to call her our own. Every person I have worked with associated with DREAM has a heart for dachshunds and a passion to make sure each dachshund is loved and given the very best care. I can honestly say that DREAM has made a difference not only in the lives of hundreds of dachshunds, but they have also made a difference in the quality of my life by providing me the love of two special and amazing dogs who are like my children. THANK YOU DREAM!

We first encountered DREAM Dachshund Rescue at the early part of 2021 when we began our search for another furbaby. Obviously the volume of dogs in need of forever homes is so tremendous that it definitely gets overwhelming. Every picture you see posted online shows beautiful, sweet, but oftentimes sad faces of dogs, all of which are deserving of love and a family to call their own.
We routinely visited DREAM’s website, but for various reasons had decided to hold off from adopting until later in the year. Well…all this changed when one day an image of sweet Chipster popped up. The image showed him with one of his hind legs in a full cast, along with a heartbreaking story of neglect and suffering this tiny little guy endured during his pre-DREAM life. Needless to say, our plans changed and we had to meet him.
Chipster is now Charlie and we simply couldn’t love him more. He was the perfect addition to our family and has brought so much joy into our home.
We were very impressed with the adoption process. DREAM is thorough and diligent when it comes to vetting families and not only goes above and beyond in caring for animals that others have neglected and given up on, but they also go the extra mile to ensure each adoption is the perfect match.
Our Charlie would not be alive today had it not been for DREAM and his foster mom, who cared for and loved him the way he deserved. We are grateful for all DREAM has done and continues to do for sweet babies just like our boy.

DREAM Dachshund Rescue of Atlanta misses the mark in its name. It should be called "Wonderful and Kind-hearted DREAM Dachshund Rescue of Atlanta." I was the very happy and contented dachshund owner of a long-haired black and tan doxxie named Laddy for over 14 years when three years ago I lost my little dog to serious medical issues. I swore I'd not adopt another dog after the pain of that loss. Well DREAM fortunately changed my mind and in that three year span I not only adopted "Cormac" from DREAM, a smart handsome red short haired doxxie, but also followed a long-time goal of adopting a second doxxie from DREAM. Now I also have "Biggles," a senior, special-needs long hair black and tan doxxie. There is a prophetic Charles Shultz cartoon showing Charlie Brown tooling along with Snoopy popping out of a back pack worm by Charlie. The caption read "Life is better with a dog." Those are words to live by and DREAM has made that motto come true for me - twice!!

My Duke, who was also a rescue Dachshund, was getting older and slowing down. I had normally always had 2 Dachshund's and thought I'd adopt another one to help Duke be a little more active. I searched all the Dachshund websites on the east 1/2 of the US. I finally found Hayden on Dream Dachshund. I was very happy to see that Dream vetted potential adopters thoroughly. Once I was approved, Duke and I drove to Indianapolis Indiana to pick up Hayden from Michelle. Two weeks later Duke was diagnosed with cancer. Hayden was so good to Duke while Duke was going through chemo, and made me laugh several times a day with his antics (which was a blessing). Hayden has adjusted so well and brings so much joy to my life. He has been through so much in his little life (and has several health issues) that it's amazing that he can be so happy and loving. I can't thank DREAM enough for rescuing him, taking all the necessary steps to get him healthy again, and allowing me to adopt him! Alynn

My husband and I have been living dog-free since losing our 14 year old yellow lab, Sunny. I have a mild dog allergy so we decided to wait until we retire to consider adopting another dog. Then the pandemic hit and, like so many others, I began watching the various dog-adoption sites. At first, no shelters were open, so I stopped looking but the idea never left me.

One evening, I remembered my previous experience with DREAM in Atlanta. I had attended their Howl-o-Weenie event and helped at another event, years ago. So, I checked in on their sight. My husband likes to say that I wished Ruby Sue into existence. She is simply perfect and has already brought so much joy into our lives.

None of this would be possible without the generosity of the DREAM Dachshund team. After a quick message to my dear friend, Ivy, who is a founding Board member, I was encouraged to fill out an application. Less than 24 hours later, we were meeting Ruby and making her a member of our home.

This has been such a stressful time for all of us and having a canine companion to snuggle each night and keep my husband company as he works from home has been such a blessing. I cannot say enough good things about DREAM and the very important work they do. We love Ruby Sue and we love DREAM!

I can’t say enough about Dream, from whom we adopted our doxie, Toby, almost 3 years ago. Toby means everything to me. When we have run into health issues, as he ages, the rescue has been nothing but supportive for us. His foster mom stays in touch too! Adopting Toby from Dream has inspired me to work more with Rescues. I’ve never met people with such large, open and welcoming hearts. And they always know exactly which pup will fit best into which new forever home.

I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful DREAM Dachshund Rescue Alanta is! It was a seamless, great experience from working with Kim who approved my adoption to getting to meet Emily and Nic who were the foster parents for the new addition to my family, Lucas. After Lucas was here for a few days it was clear he enjoyed me as much as I loved having him. It's been four months since he came home and I now could not imagine not having him. I feel like he rescued me.....he's just perfect, with just enough flaws to make him interesting like the rest of us! ;) Adopting from DREAM Dachshund Rescue Atlanta has been one of the best decisions I ever made!

I love Dream. Alice and Coco are both Dream alumni. What a wonderful experience. Their work is not easy but they always provide a loving safe haven for those in their care. All dogs deserve loving homes. However my husband and I both grew up with dachshunds for pets so it was a natural fit. Puppies are cute but I always say rescue first. There is no greater heart than that of a rescued pet. Dream makes so much good possible. I am humbled by their awesome work.

This is a wonderful group of dachshund lovers who have dedicated their time and resources to rescuing these dogs that are in distress. I cannot praise them enough. After my last doxie died, I found this rescue group, checked it out, and eventually adopted my doxie, “Buddy,” and now have had him for about four years. I can honestly and without reservation say that Buddy is the best pet I have ever had.
One of the great things about this rescue group is that their foster partners are committed, trained, and lovers of doxies. Kudos to them, too.
I trust DREAM Dachshund Rescue, and invite all doxie lovers who are in need of another little sweetheart to contact DDR. Also, I encourage folks to donate to this group. You won’t regret doing so. I did, and I don’t.

The passion and compassion of DREAM, it's Board, it's volunteers, and all those that support the organisation should be held up as an example of how society should look after those that cannot look after themselves, are forgotten, ignored, or looked at as expendable.

Our family has been blessed and enriched over the last 10 years with the addition of three DREAM rescued dachshunds. The support and guidance provided by DREAM volunteers; from the first contact, through adoption, and post adoption: has been remarkably helpful. Thank you for the lives that you save, and lives that you enhance!

We adopted Milo about 4 years ago. I had recently lost Jazzi another long hair Black and Tan we had for 14 years. I had a hole in my heart that needed to be filled and I had fallen in love with the breed. I picked Milo from Dreams website and thought we would take a chance on a rescue. We don’t know all of Milos past but he was hesitant when I tried to pick him up or play. We figured he had probably been previously abused by a man. I was persistent but patient and he eventually warmed up to me. Now he is my shadow and we are really close. He has turned into a really smart and loving friend. I would encourage anyone thinking about getting a Dachshund to give a Dream rescue a chance. They just need some love and you will see them blossom into wonderful furry friends! Everyone at Dream was great during the adoption process and made sure we would give Milo the home he needed. Come Dream with us and give a Doxie the chance to live his/her life being loved and cared for!

I rescued Johnny in April of 2008 from DREAM. He passed away in March 2017 and he was the best dog I could have asked for. He wasn't easy as he had gone through some severe abuse in his life, but I adore all the volunteers at DREAM for doing what they do for these dogs. I have gone to events, met other dogs through them and I see the good that they do. I could go on forever about what Johnny meant to me and I could never pay back the volunteers at DREAM for providing him such a wonderful transition prior to getting to his forever home, but I will just say this - they do this for the love of the dogs. You could not ask for a better group of volunteers and I think of them and thank them every day.

We cannot thank DREAM enough for helping us find our Norman. Norman has brought so much love into our home and hearts and we cannot remember our lives before he came trotting into it! DREAM has been absolutely amazing in making sure we found the perfect fit for our family as well as finding the perfect family for their rescue. We have kept in touch with the foster family and the wonderful people who had taken time to do everything possible to make this “dream” happen for us. This rescue truly cares and works hard to give these beautiful animals a loving home.

DREAM rescued our amazing sweet girl from the shelter where her previous owners unceremoniously dropped her after she became paralyzed. DREAM did everything possible to aid her in restoring some movement to her legs. When we adopted DREAM, they helped us to learn how to care for our girl. Seri is the heart of our household, and she can now walk up to 20 feet at a time. :) We love her so much, thank you DREAM!

DREAM dachshund rescue has by all accounts rescued over 1200 little long dogs from the most adverse and deplorable conditions. What cannot be calculated is how many human lives have been changed for the better because of these little dogs.

Our story is simple. Back in 2001 I directly rescued a little black & tan, short haired doxie named Jack. All he needed was a love, patience and care. What he gave back to me far outweighed what I had done for him. Years later when I found myself alone, in the middle of a career change, I called DREAM and through a series of interviews and phone calls, I was matched with Doc. Perhaps the most incredible dog I’ve ever known. He was my constant companion. He went to work with me, slept with me, and on occasion, went to church with me. When I lost my mother I was totally devastated. He never left my side. He knew something was wrong and wanted to make it better…and he did. A true friend will sit in silence with you…he did. A true friend will catch your tears…he licked every one of them. He even approved or disapproved of my dates…and he was right! Doc was a senior that I had for a few short years but he saved my life. So, when people see me today, they ask “are they rescues?” My reply is, “I’m not sure who rescued whom.”

Over the years we’ve taken in seniors with only 6-10 months to live and we’ve taken in younger hounds as well. Each has brought their own type of love and growth opportunities. Each has made an impact on us, our family, friends and guests. They have been ambassadors of love to dozens of international guests who grace our home every year and to scores of friends from church, work and our community.

Nine years ago when I met my husband, he was a cat person. He had never been around dogs. Now, he is addicted to Doxies. From the first moment Jack came into my life, up to today, there has never been one day that my Dachshunds have not made me laugh and smile. Dachshunds are addictive and rescues are the best.

DREAM can only continue their good Samaritan efforts if all of us we give generously and spread the word. David and I are forever grateful to DREAM for being a conduit of love and life of us and our children.

Thank you,
Theron, David Clark-Stuart
Riley & Trebble (DREAM boys)

I have always believed that dogs are angels sent from heaven to teach us unconditional love. It is so sad that some people do not recognize that gift. The people at DREAM recognize that gift and celebrate it. We are proud rescue moms to 3 angel doggies. 2 we have because of the amazing people at DREAM. I am forever grateful for their hard work and dedication to precious little Dachshunds!

Everyone was so nice. Thorough in explaining how this works and checking out our home. We got Guinness a doxie/min-pin mix over 3years ago. He was extremely shy and wasnt friendly with men. They told us all about him. There were no surprises. He is still a bit skiddish but he has no issues with men now. Great place to get your next pet. We lobve our Guinness

Our little Olive is a senior DREAM alumna. In 2010 a "back yard breeder" dropped off Olive and several other doxies at a high-kill shelter in Huntsville, AL. The wonderful people at DREAM jumped into action and took a van to Alabama to pick them up. Olive was very dirty, had heartworms and terrible teeth. DREAM spayed her, had about half of her bad teeth extracted, and started HW treatment. We wanted to adopt so DREAM let us foster her while she went through heartworm treatments, then finalized the adoption once treatment was done. She loves snuggling on her bed with her companion dog Buddy and with her kitties, digging in the yard, and sleeping in bed with us at night burrowed under the covers. We feel very fortunate to have her and are very grateful to DREAM for all your work.

The team at Dream is awesome. We lost our 15 year old boy in May and after a month realized his sister relied heavily on him to hear and see. We reached out to Dream and explained we needed an older mature dog, that could help her and us. Needed to be housebroken, crate trained and the works. They told us about Bowie and how special he was, we decide to adopt him in July and could not be happier. Dream said he was very social, got along with everyone and we felt he would be a good fit for Gertie. He is so gentle and watches over her. She had teeth pulled and he would not leave her and when she woke up in the middle of the night, he licked her face until she calmed down. Bowie has been a Dream for us, and we could not have found him without Dream.
