It is so helpful to find different and interesant free resources for us, as Teachers from a foreign country to use. M. A. Margarita R. Ruiz, Tech Coordinator, Instituto D'Amicis, A. C: Puebla, México
Curriki has been a wonderful resource for my child's high school GT program. I passed it on as a resource and they have used Curriki OER in a number of ways, from encouraging kids involved in the maker movement and studying computer science, to teaching about the US Constitution and, most recently, 911. My teen has also used Curriki resources on her own to reinforce lessons she was having difficulty understanding in algebra.
Curriki got the best knowledgebase on their website. You can learn, explore and even teach something that you know with the world beyond your limits. They are amazing and their support is round the clock, I mean if I have an issue or if I am not able to find something they will be right there to help whenever needed. They are not just an organization but a team of educators, intellectuals and researchers. I just love coming back to their website again and again. Thanks guys for putting up great work!
I went to Curriki to find math activities and a reading list for summer for my granddaughter who is starting kindergarten. While there are many on line learning apps, I wanted to also have some resources that we could do together as activities. I found many links to resources that were valuable and could not find any where else. I was able to download them and print them. I also found an excellent reading list. It made our summer time together more interactive, fun and educational!
I have used Curriki to help my daughter with her homework. We have found some great math resources. My math skills are a little rusty, so I was delighted to find a place where we could get free assistance.
Curriki is the first step in a transformation of education. It is allowing teachers to peer-review best practice curriculum via the web. In my view... it has the most "bang for the buck" in terms of creating the environment for improvements in the way teachers teach.
