Great place to shop with good prices. I bought an older Singer sewing machine several years ago--older but in excellent condition. I still sew on it almost every day--What a buy ! Thanks CRRC

The CRRC fills so many roles in our spread out community. I attend Silver Sneakers exercise class and our leader, Kristi Fletcher, is always smiling, happy and keeps us going. She informs us about community events. My husband and I have played volleyball, attended many events, our children and grandchildren have participated in many sporting events here. The Action Center has a terrific resale shop that supports the CRRC and helps those who are having a hard time pay bills, provides food, etc. When my parents were having trouble getting around, I borrowed a wheelchair for a few months. There is never any charge. Everyone who works there cares about the people in our community. I donate items to the Thrift Shop regularly. CRRC is terrific! I can't imagine what our community would be like without it.

I came to CRRC in their Silver Sneakers II program. My hands would "go to sleep" and wake me up at night. My doctor recomended that I start a aerobic program that got my hands over my head. The program that I started was led by Kristy Fischer (now Broadway) and I was actually one of the younger members of the class. I was about 54. There were people in the class approaching 90. I thought easy, boy was I wrong. Kristy's program is one of the best in the country and she made exercise fun(but not easy)
In the 6 years that I have been in the class, it has been one of the most positive things that I have ever done. She is one of the most positive people that I have ever met. Although I have had lots of things going on, I have always felt better after each class. I travel alot and have 3 recording of the class and take it with me everywhere.
There are lots of different programs at CRRC, one for all ages and interests. They reach out to the community that is rural around a lake. There is no match anywhere for CRRC. I cannot say enough good things about it!

Love this facility and the things it offers. I participate in the Silver Sneakers exercise program, and it has helped me (at the age of 66) lose approximately 30 pounds. It's both a healthy exercise program and a socialization opportunity, and I miss it when we are out of town and I can't find anything else as good. I have friends who play dominoes every week in the building also, and I know they are thankful for a reliable place to meet and socialize. I've attended events there, such as meals to benefit local organizations. It is always in use. That's where I usually get my yearly flu shot also. It just serves all of us in this area in so many different ways. I think the biggest need at the time is an upgraded PA system.

It's always such a pleasure to come to the CRRC. Whether it's for a fund raiser for our community, or exercise or just to socialize over a game of cards, the CRRC sets a high standard in our area. Everyone feels welcomed here.

I was asked to write a review about CRRC of Canyon Lake INC. I look forward to going to the exercise class on Monday's,Wednesday's and Friday's. The staff are so kind and hepful. They do soooooo much more other then exercise classes. They are so involved in Canyon Lake businesses.. and helping people out!!! I love the Christmas show each year, and all the good things they have at this Center. I know the CRRC center will only get better, and better....and if they do get extra support---you can bet it would be put to good use....
Thank you

I have followed the work of this great non-profit team for years and am thoroughly impressed with the outstanding job they do to meet the community needs. They assist all ages with grace and dedication. The smiles on the faces of those being served is a joy to behold. This is a fine example of volunteers helping others. We are fortunate to have CRRC in our county!
