I have been to this nonprofit to volunteer for a day and I must say Beth is incredibly hard working. While we were there I asked her many questions and she always gave an genuine answer and honest perspective. It truly gave me a lot to think about. What she does isn't limited to the very cute photos online, she gets her hands dirty and cares for them when no one else does. This nonprofit and woman are incredibly unique and make a difference.
I have visited Critter Camp often and have found that Beth Randall the manager to be very caring and empathic with her charges. They have come to her after being traumatized by their previous experiences. Her rescues come from many different places. She has volunteers that will drive hours to pick up an animal. Local towns have found ferrets left in empty apartments, some guinea pigs have been found in public parks, and foxes would have been sold for their fur. Beth takes in these animals and gives them a forever home. She provides clean, healthy environments for her animals. All of the animals have been born in captivity so can never be returned to the wild. Her rescue is the only one of it's kind in the US.
This is one of the best charities I've found. They take unwanted, sick, abandoned and abused pets that literally have no other place to go. They have everything from rabbits to fennec fox to hedgehogs to cats and lizards. It's a place where they can live the rest of their lives out in dignity and love.
I have the most respect for this rescue. The majority of the animals would be put down without Critter Camp to lovingly care for each that comes in. My experience has always been a positive one. It's heart warming to watch visitors get a tour and light up from their time there. These people put their souls into the work.
Critter Camp is an excellent exotic animal sanctuary caring for many abused unwanted animals . Beth and family care for them like family ! No place like it !
I love this place it is wonderful i have spent many years as beths friend and this place is unique b
Beth Randall, Director of Critter Camp Exoctic Pet Santuary she is a outstanding lady. She takes pride in what she does. She rescues animals into her own home to provide them with the needs to be taken care of for the rest of there life. She is there for the sick, mean, neglected and abandoned animals. If she had room she is willing to take them in. I have even seen her when she really don't have room fit them in the sanctuary. She is a great person. I give her a 5 plus star rating.
At Critter Camp, we are a non-profit organization specializing in taking in sick, neglected, unwanted and abandoned animals. Beth has over 300 animals of different species. She herself takes care of and lives where Critter Camp is everyday. If she is not able to take care in a animals, she sure will try and point the person in the right directions to find them another place to go. I enjoy volunteering at Critter Camp and helping the animals out. I think if anyone is looking for a place to visit this is a very informative place for the kids to go.
We worked with Beth in a joint Girl Scout/Critter Camp project. Beth and all Critter Camp volunteers give everything they can to enhance the lives of these animals. They research their personality, health, and lifestyle needs prior to accepting any exotic animals. The animals, housed in their home and barn, receive comfort, kindness, cuddles, fresh fruits and vegetables. The volunteers do everything from cleaning bedding, feeding fellow volunteers, walking the fox, and feeding hedge hogs. It's a wonderful place! I have never met a person more genuinely caring than Beth.
