I've been a supporter of this org for a number of years now and will continue to support them. The org seems to be run efficiently, they get a lot of deeply needed work done and seem very committed to continuing their work. I'm also a lucky companion to two super sweet dogs that I adopted through CWOB. Anytime I learn of anyone who is looking for a dog to add to their family I always recommend that they check with CWOB to learn when their next rescue trip will take place. Thanks CWOB, keep up the wonderful work.

Compassion Without Borders is an amazing organization! I wanted to volunteer in the local community for animals and signed up for several volunteer days with them. They are very organized, truly caring and conscientious with all pets and their owners. The services they provide locally to the low income and homeless pet owners is top notch and they do it from their hearts. They also travel to Mexico, hosting spay/neuter clinics which also include vaccinations, examines and just about anything a pet will need. Central California has a high shelter kill rate and Compassion Without Borders is helping with rescues there as well. Thank you for all your hard work!

The care and support that CWOB gives to people's pets is incredibly appreciated by their owners. As a forever volunteer, I see how grateful these owners are to have vaccines, check- ups, spay/neuter services provided to them for no cost or a small fee. CWOB serves such a great need to the low-income undeserved communities. It's my pleasure to help these wonderful pets get a better chance at a healthy life.
Thank you Christi and Moncho!!

I have had the honor for some years now both to donate to the outstanding organization Compassion Without Borders, and to help when Dr. Christi and her wonderful husband Moncho, bring 20 or so "Mexi-Mutts" from Mexico to Sonoma Humane, where they will be adopted and enter a new life of being loved and cared for. Christi is one of my heroes (Moncho, too). Her dedication, and yes--compassion--to help dogs is beyond outstanding. She has done SO much for dogs who would otherwise die from neglect that I feel privileged to know her, and to help in any way I can. I know there's only one Dr. Christi Camblor, but I wish we could clone her

Best non-profit organization by far! Co-Founders Christi & Moncho are by far the most caring people. They have taught so much compassion for all people and their pets, I will never be able to thank them enough!

This is the best non-profit organization I have ever known. They do such amazing things for people who can't afford medical care for their animals! Plus CWOB goes to Mexico to not only rescue animals, but they teach compassion and proper ways to care for animals. CWOB has changed laws in Mexico as to where instead of euthanizing by electrocution, they now do it humanely with the shot. I adopted one of he dogs and they rescued from Mexico and he is the sweetest dog and I am beyond grateful to have him. Thank you CWOB for everything you do! You are so inspirational!

An amazing grass-roots (and by that I mean a shoe-string budget!) organization that does remarkable things on both sides of the border. Monthly rescues from over-crowded Central Valley shelters, with small dogs air-lifted to Minneapolis where they are welcomes with open arms. Rescues of street dogs from Mexico,a spay-neuter/animal clinic established in Mexico, regular wellness clinics and now spay-neuter clinics in poor Santa Rosa neighborhoods...they are always there for the animals. Founders Dr. Christie and Moncho Camblor are wonder workers!

This organization is wonderful and they do wonderful work for animals on both sides of the California/Mexico border on a shoestring budget. founded by Dr. Christi Camblor and herHusband Moncho, CWOB provides rescues for dogs living under horrible conditions in Mexico and California...but doesn't stop there. they work with animal shelters to teach them how to do humane euthanasia and provide them with resources and support. In California, they rescue dogs from the Central Valley and transport them to other parts of the country where they can find homes, But best of all, they offer low to no cost vet clinics for under-served populations including the large Latino population of Sonoma County,,,these clinics are often the first time that some animals have ever seen a vet....low to no-cost services, education about caring for their pets, and compassion from a Spanish speaking vet...a wonderful combination

I have volunteered and provide some support and matching company donations.
I am so proud of this group who turn their donations directly toward helping animals in desperate need with sustainable programs that address the root cause of the suffering.
Take a look at CWOB...They warm the soul of cynics and supporters alike.

I started volunteering with CWOB as a veterinary student over 8 years ago and haven't looked back in my support of them since!! The founders of CWOB and the work that they do is beyond incredible in the difference they are making - not only in the animals' lives but in their people companion lives as well. I am a better person, veterinarian and pet guardian because of this incredible group of people!!

I first volunteered with this organization in 2007 on a spay/neuter/wellness trip to Chihuahua, Mexico when I was veterinary student (I also adopted my dog Mi'ja on this trip). It was the most amazing experience and has motivated me to be the change that I want to see in the world. I have continued to volunteer with this organization both in Mexico and in California at wellness clinics, S/N clinics and starting a chihuahua/small dog transport program from central CA to Minneapolis. The work that I have done with this organization are some of my proudest moments and greatest achievements. I look forward to continuing to volunteer with them and being a part of all of the incredible work that they are doing!

CWOB is an incredible organization. Powered by the vision of its two co-founders (who receive negligible monetary compensation for their close-to-40-hour work weeks!), they go where the need is, always expanding to help more animals. From spay/neuter and wellness clinics for pets of underserved populations to rescues from areas with many, many unwanted animals, CWOB is there. Having worked in the arena of rescue, wellness and humane education for many years and on a very limited budget, CWOB knows how to run programs efficiently and cost-effectively while maintaining a very high quality.

Compassion Without Borders and Dr. Christi are an amazing group of rescuers. She is tireless with helping as many animals as possible. Beside working at the Humane Society two days a week now (was working full time) she rescues dogs/puppies in the Central Valley & also in Mexico. I feel they go above & beyond to care for animals on a daily basis.

CWOB is the bonb! I am a board member, volunteer, supporter, and very happy recipient of one of the first dogs rescued from Mexico City. This group embodies the ideal of compassion not just to the animals but to the people involved also. It just make me smile from ear to ear everytime I am with this wonderful group of people. CWOB has never met an animal or a person who is not a friend and who would not be helped without a moment's hesitation. Even my dog has contributed to the cause.

I volunteer with CWOB in the wellness clinics and spay/neuter clinics. It is great to help so many animals and get the word out for fixing animals. It has been very rewarding for me. Janet

Compassion Without Borders is a wonderful organization that truly helps those in need. Mostly volunteer run the amount this non-profit is able to accomplish is simply amazing. Chaging the lives of animals that would otherwise go without veterinary medical treatment due to economical and cultural barriers. Taking the time to focus on those who simply don't have the resources to care for their beloved pets. Amazing work, amazing organization serving nearly 100 animals in Sonoma County alone each month through their free wellness clinics for underserved communities. In my book they get a gold medal and 5 stars. The passion and willingness to step out of bounds and help at any cost. Thats what lifes about, loving, helping and giving.

There are people in life that just make you thankful they exist. I feel this exact way about the fabulous couple who founded and started Compassion Without Borders from the ground up. I could not praise them and their organization high enough. The programs and services they offer are mind blowing. How can two people be so amazingly wonderful? They are nearly 100% volunteer based. I myself included have volunteered at many free wellness clinics. They truly care about each and every animal they come into contact with, Determined to make a difference. They do so much with so little. This organization is truly a blessing. The animals are so lucky. I am so lucky, each time I volunteer I am reminded of the importance of their existence.

I have been volunteering with Compassion Without Borders for almost a year now. The number of animals lives who have been touched by this wonderful organization is extremely impressive! Each CWOB team member has a heart of gold. This non-profit is truly making a difference to save & improve the lives of animals in need. They go where no one else is going and save the animals that need the most help. They provide wellness to animals to keep them in their existing homes. They provide spay/neuter efforts to help reduce overpopulation and keep animals well. They provide both of these services here in Northern California & in Mexico. They also travel down to Fresno once a month to rescue dogs from high-kill, overcrowded shelters bringing some back to Northern California and others to MN to find homes. Their results are staggering!! I really love volunteering with this organization! Christi & Moncho are truly amazing people!

I first met Dr. Christi Camblor while volunteering for another organization - her spirit, compassion and energy is absolutely inspiring. When I became a volunteer with CWOB, I was amazed by the work her and her husband, Moncho do to help animals. From promoting education about wellness, training equipment (such as a sensation harness compared to prong collars, etc.), & spay/neuter importance, to traveling to Central Valley to rescue Chihuahuas, to traveling to Mexico to educate and save animals, to holding free spay/neuter & wellness clinics locally, CWOB is working to keep companion animals out of the shelters and into loving homes. They are really making a difference, one animal and one person at a time. They naturally know how to reach people and help them to help animals, because they are truly genuinely good human beings. They both come from the heart, they both come from a place of working tirelessly to ensure they are doing all that they can to help.

I worked with the doctors and nurses at a spay and neuter clinic in Puerto Penasco, Mexico where we helped 92 cats and dogs. They were very professional, friendly and spent time with the families that were concerned for their pets. They even helped a sea gull with a wing problem that someone brought in! They did this on only a few hours sleep after a clinic in a another town took longer than expected and they drove all through the night to get to us. It was a long, hot and dirty day, but they helped so many people that otherwise wouldn't of been able to have these procedures done for their pets!! They are the best!! Did I mention they also have a great sense of humor!
