The Martin County Community Foundation has provided avenues for various non profit organizations to access grants needed for the betterment of the local communities in Martin County---examples: The Mustering Elm Park in Trinity Springs , the Shoals Fire Department and the Martin County Civil Defense. It also provides opportunities for one to contribute to a cause they care strongly about and /or start a fund for that cause leaving a legacy in said county long after the donor has gone.
