Dr. Silberstein and CACE provide much needed support and education about cancer prevention and treatment that is sorely missing in our country. Dr. Silberstein has provided education talks in my city multiple times and many of the attendees have said that her information is literally "life changing." My personal experience with Dr. Silberstein and her staff is that they are very knowledgeable, compassionate and patient. I highly recommend CACE!
I have learned a tremendous amount through the presentations with Dr. Silberstein, as well as from the resources the center offers. I have referred several friends and customers to the center who have benifitted tremendously from the support and information.
I went to a presentation with Dr Silberstein rather reluctantly, thinking that there wasn't anything she was going to say that was new, or that I hadn't already heard before. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that her information was not at all like that disseminated by the mainstream organizations, media, etc. It is nutrition/lifestyle based, and puts the emphasis on prevention, as it should be. Dr Silberstein was an amazingly caring person who is passionate about serving and helping people through the maze of misinformation. I was able to take home a number of printed materials to share with those I know and love.
I have benefitted from inviting CACE and Susan Silberstein to speak a number of times at venues in Chicago and the Carolinas about strategies we can pursue to minimize the risk of cancer. She is an articulate and compassionate spokesperson with vast knowledge. She is always willing to step up and share what she has learned over the years with anyone willing to listen. CACE is a valuable resource for us all.
CACE is, in my opinion, so far advanced & much more beneficial to the public when compared to other mainstream cancer organizations because they are actively teaching people how to PREVENT, COPE WITH & BEAT cancer....not merely bringing awareness to (who could possibly NOT be aware of cancer today?), detecting early (wouldn't it be better to learn how to prevent & reduce risks of getting cancer rather than needing to deal with it after the fact?) or looking for a pharmaceutical "cure" (billions raised for "research" & cancer is still on the rise??? Donations would be much better utilized if donated to organizations like CACE!) CACE is the ONLY organization I recommend to people who are suffering from cancer & who want to prevent it. In health talks that I give, I regularly share prevention methods I've learned from attending lectures given by Dr. Susan Silberstein. She & CACE have opened my eyes to the control I have over my own health & it is so empowering! I don't have to live in ignorance & fear & hope I'm one of the lucky ones. In turn, I share what I have learned with as many people as I can. Thank you Dr. Susan & CACE for all of your hard work & giving spirits! You truly are a GREAT non-profit!!!
I learned about Help BeatCancer.org over 5yrs ago and have used them as a recommended resource for all my clients dealing with and/or family members facing cancer. They are a professional caring organization. Thankful for them as a resource for too many!
I heard about The Center for the Advancement of Cancer Research through my affiliation with Juice Plus+. Dr. Silberstein honored us with a very informative lecture. The information she had to impart has deeply impressed and affected my present eating habits.
I got to know about the organization through Juice Plus! Every time I have heard Dr. Silberstein talk I have been impressed by her knowledge of how to confront cancer and am alway eager to pass along her knowlege to others.
I appreciate the willingness Susan S demonstrates in sharing the information she continues to gather. Cancer is such a challenge for so many and we need people like Susan who can bring perspective and hope. I don't know if we will ever defeat cancer, but with people like Susan speaking out, there is growing hope that those who will listen have a reduced risk and a better chance of coming through treatment with positive results.
Really love the service CASE provides the community! Health education is so strongly needed in our society. I love the Hungry for Health bars & cookbooks. Susan Silberstein is practical & direct with her information. She is passionate, caring & very generous with those she cares for!
We all have friends and relatives who have been told they have cancer. The options for treatments seem to be the same - chemo and radiation. CACE gives you another option. I have sent their articles, publications, and pamphlets on natural treatments for cancer to my friends and relatives with cancer as another treatment option.
CACE's approach to cancer education, prevention & treatment is very unique & unprecedented. The level of passion & dedication exuded by all CACE employees & volunteers is extremely moving. It gives me great pleasure & satisfaction to be a part of this amazing organization.
My first experience with the Center for Advancement in Cancer was at a Prevention Plus health lecture where Dr. Silberstein was the speaker. The information that she shared was very interesting and a wake up call for how we should eat. After all, we are what we eat…it’s no wonder why so many Americans have cancer and heart disease. I have recommended the Center for Advancement in Cancer to my friends with cancer and will continue to do so. Thank you for the years of great service. Rusty Tepper
After being diagnosed with cancer, my mother turned to CACE for diet and lifestyle counseling to strengthen her body during chemotherapy. Susan was so generous with her time, and she really helped my mom to understand the way that her diet can improve her symptoms and ultimately make her body less desirable for malignant cells. Her cookbook, Hungry for Health, is a staple in our kitchen.
CACE not only provides free emotional and nutritional counseling to cancer patients and their families; its founder, Susan Silberstein, travels the country educating people about the importance of nutrition in preventing and surviving cancer FOR FREE! Which would you rather do for yourself or a loved one - prevent cancer or go through surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy treatments? CACE teaches that up to 70% of cancer is preventable through lifestyle, ie diet, exercise, and avoidance of toxins like cigarette smoke.

I am a Juice Plus representative and have recommended this organization to clients. Full of programs, wonderful support system and educational information.
I work in the field of nutrition and have been involved with the center for many years. I have referred clients to the center where they have received tremendous help. I have been to many lectures and book review that the founder Susan has presented. All have been eye opening and very useful in everyday life.
