Mission: About Us: The Cardiovascular Disease Foundation (CVDF) was established in 2002 by concerned members of the community in order to help people benefit from the great strides made in the treatment, detection and prevention of cardiac and vascular diseases. The Cardiovascular Disease Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization and our tax ID number is 05-0536041. We strive to enable the community to improve its cardiovascular health. Our mission is to improve the quality of life by promoting cardiovascular health through prevention, wellness and education. Our vision is to be a leading resource for education and information on the latest research and treatment of cardiovascular disease, stroke prevention and diagnosis. Our programs and services teach people of all ages, including children, adults and seniors, how to prevent and recognize cardiovascular disease and its many risk factors.
Results: The Cardiovascular Disease Foundation has provided complimentary health screenings, Healthy Habits, Healthy Kids Programs, community health fairs, student internships, an Access to Care Program, physician panel lectures, fundraisers, galas, and 10K/5K Run/Walks that served 10,000 individuals annually and reached 100,000 people over ten years of service. Thank You! Thank You! We would not have had the opportunity to improve our community with so many wonderful cardiovascular health programs and services without all of your dedication and support. With great appreciation, The CVDF Team
