I have been a donor for Brittany's Hope for quite some time. I like the idea that 100 percent of my contributions go to the cause I selected . I even visited The House of Love in Vietnam ( who had been receiving the aid from Brittany's Hope )with my family and sponsored a dinner with the staff and the children. We all were impressed of how well the children were taken care of and how kind and resourceful the "sisters' showed in managing the orphanage.
And I have seen how much BH has expanded under the direction of Mai lynn Sahd to become a global non profit organisation. Recently I was interested in the fact that BH was building a Home for the orphans in Kenya and Ethiopia, not mentioning that BH has a presence in Haiti for many years. Brittany's Hope definitively deserves a Top-Rated Award for non profit .
Brittany's Hope Foundation is an inclusive, creative, progressive, detail-oriented, well organized foundation that provides care, education, medical, assistance, and nurturing to children, and adults, with special needs world-wide. This is a hands-on organization that welcomes all levels of involvement. 100% of donations go toward supporting the individuals for whom they champion.
We've been sponsoring children through Brittany's Hope for several years and couldn't be happier with the entire experience. Everyone at Brittany's Hope loves what they do, they are professional, friendly, and committed to making a significant different in the lives of others every single day. Perhaps our favorite thing about BH is that we receive regular communication, pictures, and updates on the children we sponsor--we look forward to receiving each update because it helps us remember how important it is to invest in the lives of others AND we're reminded of how instrumental BH is in meeting the needs of less fortunate children. We LOVE Brittany's Hope so we tell everyone we know about them! :)
Thank you Brittany's Hope for positively transforming the lives of so many children and their families!
Brittany's Hope is a wonderful organization which helps orphaned children in Vietnam and African countries. I sponsor two girls in Vietnam and have a loving and caring relationship with both girls through Brittany's Hope. This organization also assists families who are adopting children from other countries through grants. My girls and I exchange letters and photos, and the staff at Brittany's Hope are so helpful and know these children personally through visits to their orphanages. I love Brittany's Hope and am grateful for being allowed to be a part of them through my sponsorship.
Brittany's Hope is a great Non Profits Organization that helps a lot of children. They hold a lot of fund raisers to raise money for the children and even finds corporations that will sometimes match donations. The money is used to help people adopt children, to build better housing for the children in orphanages in poorer countries and to provide care for these children. They have a program that you can sponsor a child and all the money goes to take care of that child and you are given yearly pictures and updates on that child. There is even a day each year that they skype with the children and you can go to a dessert social and talk with your child. You can even sponsor the child through their college years so the child has a chance to break the chain of poverty. I strongly recommend that you consider donating to this Non Profit Organization as they help a lot of children break the chain of poverty.
100% of your donations go towards Adoption assistance & orphan help. Overhead is covered by a corporate grant. This is a rarity in Charitable giving.
Brittany's Hope is an incredible nonprofit organization! They helped us bring home our adopted son from Bulgaria. What a wonderful thing to give children the hope of a family. This organization was extremely easy to work with and helpful throughout the entire process. We recommend them highly!
Brittany's Hope is incredible. For being relatively small, they are making a global impact on children's lives. We are humbled to support their work.
I've been a long time volunteer and supporter of Brittany's Hope. Their relentless pursuit for healthy and happy kids around the world continues to amaze me. I believe that lives have been saved and changed forever because of their great work and I am proud to say that I support this organization.
I used to live in Elizabethtown,Pa and I knew Brittany Abel personally .She was a pleasant young woman well loved by her adoptive family. When she was killed tragically in a car accident, her adoptive parents who missed her very much, founded Brittany's Hope , a non profit organization that helped the adoption of handicapped orphans from different countries. Now the organization has expanded to include various charities... I started to donate for the Walk of Love a couple years and recently my donation was for the nutrition of the orphans ...
My son also sent his money to BH and his company matched too.We all trust that BH will make good use of our donations ,having so many good people working for a good cause .A good ambassador of BH is Mai-Lynn Abel.Just to listen to her, we can feel she is passionate in what she is doing. If you want to donate to a charity, Brittany's Hope is the one !
I have always had a passion to help orphanages in Vietnam, however I never knew how to get started since I have never been there. Last month, Lancaster Newspapers wrote an article about Brittany's Hope Foundation and how they were collecting duffle bags filled with essentials, to be sent to orphanages in Vietnam. I contacted Mai-Lynn Abel who is Director of Humanitarian Aid at Brittany's Hope, after I went to their website and read about what the foundation does. This is exactly the organization that I have been looking for, and my connection to help me help the orphanages in Vietnam. I met with Mai-Lynn in person and was just so amazed, touched and inspired by what Brittany's Hope does for the orphanages and how 100% of their donations is used for the needs of the orphanages, such as need for cribs, medical supplies and clothing.
I sponsor a child from the House of Love in Vietnam. I found her on the Brittany's Hope website and was captivated by her big sad eyes. I love that 100% of my donation goes directly to her care & support with no administrative fees. I love that I can purchase some personal things for her: clothes & barbie dolls and the foundation will forward them to her. They send me pictures & cards. That makes the sponsorship personal. I'm kept aware of all the happenings at the House of Love through email & mail. I'm considering sponsoring more children. I love what the Foundation stands for.
We have been involved with Brittanys Hope for about 8 years now. We most recently sponsored a child in Vietnam. This set up allows for 100% of our donations to go directly to her, her care and education. Not many charities can make that claim and make it happen. Brittanys Hope makes it easy to help and make an impact quickly. My children really love getting the updates and photos of our sponsored child. What a wonderful organization to be involved with and support. God bless the Abel family and all of the dedicated workers and volunteers.
