Anthem Pets does a FANTASTIC job of helping people very animal they possibly can. They have rescued so many dogs and cats who were about to be surrendered or taken to county shelters, which are overloaded and would mean a death sentence. Anthem pets has also provided training for dogs who needed behavior adjustments before they could make great pets. We adopted a great dog from them, and later I became a foster parent for both dogs and cats.
Anthem Pets is an incredible rescue. They work tirelessly to save as many animals as possible while ensuring that each one gets the right home. While waiting for their perfect home the pets they save spend time in foster homes getting spoiled rotten, and the fosters learn all their personalities. I volunteer with them and a few other rescues but can honestly say this is one of the good ones!
When my family was preparing for our first pet, we were introduced to Anthem Pets fostering program. This was exactly what we needed, as Anthem Pets was there to support us every step of the way. Someone was always available to answer my questions and help me to make sure that the cats we fostered were healthy and happy. We were introduced to our foster fail by Anthem Pets recommendation, and Olive the cat has been a special part of our family ever since. The next year, we found another kitty (Tacocat) from Anthem Pets to be the purrfect buddy for Olive. We have fostered many cats and kittens since and loved that experience. AnthemPets has always been concerned and so helpful with finding just the right fit to ensure a happy pet and a happy family and working with them to make sure our sweet fosters find their furever homes has been a joy.
I decided to foster a cat after losing my two seniors. I had never fostered before, and needed a situation that was a foster-to-adopt because I didn’t know how I’d cope with having to “give up” the cat. The rescue was very accommodating and I never felt any pressure to make any decisions; just support. They truly care about their animals welfare and working with a rescue like this one was incredibly satisfying!
Anthem Pets Animal Rescue is the absolute best! A non-profit organization consisting of selfless individuals who work full-time jobs, have families, and on top of everything, still find the time to put in to assist helpless animals in different situations. Im extremely proud of the people who make it go round every day. Thank you.

I’ve been volunteering for Anthem Pets for over 3 years. It is an awesome nonprofit organization with only volunteers to help.
I have been helping with Anthem Pets for over a decade. The work that this nonprofit does is INCREDIBLE considering the limited resources it has. There are DOZENS of adoption events, multiple community outreach events with low cost vaccination clinics, and an awesome group of volunteers who help those unlucky pets find their furever homes.
3 years ago we fostered two dogs, Poodle/Bischon brother & sister. It was such a wonderful experience we decided to keep them! Since it worked out so well we got involved as volunteers for Anthem Pets. As everyone is a volunteer we have seen this organization grow. In addition to rescuing dogs and cats they also have found several lost dogs and cats and were able to reunite them with their owners.
I have volunteered for this rescue and they are great. They provide a great service to the area, with helping lost and found pets, and providing low-cost clinics a few times a year. My parents fostered for them. They kept the dogs, could not be happier they did! Thank you Anthem Pets for enriching my parents lives.

I've been a volunteer with 5 years. Anthem Pets is unique because they are one of the few rescues that reunite lost and found pets daily with their owner. They are an amazing resource for owners and their pets. On top of lost & found they take in many strays where more owner has been found and take in owner surrenders who have no other outlets. They do so much.

Anthem is fortunate to have Anthem Pets Animal Rescue. The board members and volunteers work long hours to make sure that all the pets are in a safe environment. Anthem Pets does their very best in posting on all social media sites to reunite lost pets.
I started volunteering with Anthem Pets because I had followed them on social media for some time and was amazed at the amount of good work they were doing within the community. I had always noticed how there appeared to be no stray dogs and cats in the Anthem community. iMovies here over 10 years ago. As I became more and more aware of the organization I realized how much they do. I signed onto their Facebook page and started getting the alerts for the lost and found pets. It seemed like most were reunited with their ow era within a very short time. Then I went to the meeting last month. Wow, what a turnout of caring and devoted volunteers. This is truly a rewarding organization to be a part of. They really want the best for the animals.
How many stories can I tell.? I have fostered many dogs for them - crying when they left my home - and so happy they found forever homes . One I kept - i just wasn't gonna cry when she left my home (I would've bawled). I love my nap time snuggles w my dogs! And I love hearing the stories of lost pets finding their way back home due to anthem pets! And the vet care they provide I witnessed 1st hand as a dog I was fostering recovered from surgery in my arms - thank you anthem pets for helping him!
I moved to the area that anthem pets serves about 3years ago. I heard about them almost immediately and over the years have witnessed all of the good they do in our community. There is almost constant attention paid to lost animals, re homing pets through courtesy posts, and finding new homes for the pets they take in. Everything is handled by volunteers and no one is paid- which means 100% of donations goes to the animals.
That's why I started to volunteer for them!
When one of my yorkies slipped out the front door behind my husband when he went to turn a fuse back on around 6pm it went unnoticed ! An hour later, just at bedtime for them, we were frantic because Cole didn't come when we called ....I called Anthem Pets immediately and within 3 minutes Cole was all over facebook and people came to my house from a radius of 4 miles to help with the search....They did this because not only were they animals lovers, but knew Anthem Pets help in so many ways that they wanted to give back ! We are in an area where there are coyotes , bobcats, owls etc. and Cole was in danger ! I think about 20 people were on the search...At 10pm, Cole was found !!! One of the searchers found him against a garage behind a truck exhausted and unharmed ! You can imagine the relief we all felt ! I was sooo appreciative that I am now part of their 'search and rescue' team.....Thank you Anthem Pets for being there for us ....
I'm very proud to be a volunteer with Anthem Pets. The volunteers in this group go above and beyond to help animals and people in our community often putting in more hours than a full time job to help where needed. Whether it be re-bagging dog or cat food to be distributed to those in need, answering a hotline phone 24/7, responding to emails, searching the desert to find a lost animal or helping to facilitate an adoption this group pulls together it's diverse group of volunteers to help our four legged friends in any possible way they can.
Anthem Pets was supportive and instrumental in helping me find my dog when she was attacked by a larger dog and ran away. I spent the entire evening and the following morning searching for her. Anthem Pets sent volunteers to help me and they arrived at sunrise. They guiding me step by step on the best way to publish and get the word out about my dog. In the end it proved invaluable as I found her with the help of the fliers that Anthem Pets helped me design and distribute. I am now a volunteer for them and happy to support this wonderful group of animal lovers! They're the best!
Anthem Pets really cares about the pets needing to be rehomed, the lost pets and the animals that want to be pets in the Anthem, Desert Hills, New River, and Cave Creek area of North Phoenix. The Volunteers are fund raisers, Foster parents and drive the organization to be better every year. I am proud to be a part of Anthem Pets.
Anthem Pets is a truly outstanding organization! This all-volunteer group is comprised of passionate, caring people who go above and beyond to help so many animals in our community. I have worked in animal rescue and on animal protection issues for years and can unequivocally state how impressed I am with Anthem Pets. In addition to the countless animals they help, they have helped me personally. They immediately sprung into action when they learned my beloved 14 year old cat went missing. For months, they have done everything they can to help me find him in my ongoing search. Simply put, Anthem Pets is a great organization!
I just recently became a volunteer with Anthem Pets and appreciate all the hard work the organization has done for the community and its pets. There are many sad and many happy stories told by members of the community regarding Anthem Pets' work in placing, fostering, adopting and even finding pets. A few months ago I adopted a kitten and was happy to hear that his two brothers were adopted soon after. I am spreading the word about this wonderful organization and its hard-working volunteers.

I love love love what Anthem Pets does. I have nothing but respect for this organization. Not only do they find homes for animals in need but they also assist with lost and found pets.
I spend many hours each week volunteering for Anthem Pets and have the privilege of working with an incredible group of people who are remarkably passionate about animals. This group works to ensure that no pet from our community ends up in a kill-shelter, but instead is taken into a loving home and cared for until a family (old or new) is found. Injured stray pets are treated, returned to health and re-homed. Search and rescue groups are formed for members of the community who need help finding their lost pets. Support is given to those in the community who have fallen on difficult times and need assistance finding new, loving forever homes for their pets. Anthem Pets also offers low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics and delivers pet food to those in need. This organization has saved thousands of pets' lives, as well as, helped save many community members from the heartache of losing their pet for good.
The team of volunteers at Anthem Pets are available to the community 24/7, always looking out for the safety and comfort of animals.
I have personally fostered a number of cats while their owners were located. I have seen many tears of joy when owners found their beloved pets safe and sound at my house playing with a new little toy.
I have also adopted my pets through Anthem Pets knowing that they have been cared for and their medical care is up to date.
The volunteers work tirelessly raising funds for medical care and have saved many lives.

Anthem Pets is an amazing organization with amazing volunteers! In our small town, lots of animals get lost or get found. Anthem Pets is always there to make sure the found pets are safely taken care of while the owners are being tracked down. They also have a search and rescue group that will go out and hunt for lost animals. They also do lots of local events to help the community like microchip events, and shot clinics to make sure all of the neighborhood pets are healthy and can be tracked in case they get lost. I love being part of such a terrific group of volunteers who really care about the animals (and their owners) in our community!
Anthem Pets has made sure not one stray found in our area spends one night at the pound. Every stray found has a foster for the night. They have an awesome network of neighbors that look out for one another's pets. I have spent hours volunteering with them and know that Anthem Pets goes above and beyond to make sure pets are safe.
