Rather than protecting these abused Animals The Animal Legal Defense Fund would rather accumulate headlines to recieve more donations. They settled their lawsuit not once, but TWICE with the Cricket Hollow Zoo who the USDA found the zoo abused Animals and kept them in Deplorable conditions The USDA gave the Zoo violations 2010... 2011... 2012... 2013... 2014... 2015... 2016 BUT ALFD chose to "Settle" with them

Obviously by the many positive posts ALDF and they fight for animal rights and welfare. It boogles my mind why they teamed up with BigCat Rescue and WildCat Sanctuary to ban hybrid cats in varies states. If they are concerned for animals rights, why would they work in tangent with either of these sanctuaries? BCR feeds live domesticated rabbits to bobcats they are being rehabilitating to release into the wild. This is not necessary, and most rrehabilitation wildlife center choose not to use live prey. Not to mention that horses were being abused right next door and nobody at BCR reported this to any animal welfare agencies. Both BCR and WCDS have been charged with animal neglect and enclosure violations, and accused of using donations for their personal use. The founder of WCS used donations to take her husband sky diving and bought sexy underwear, also took her family on vacation. Does this sound like agencies concerned about animal welfare?

This petition that these welfare agencies are proposing is basically to confiscate all early generation hybrid cats under third generation. Either these cats will be euthanized or taken to sanctuaries to live out their lives with lions, tigers, and other wild animals. It does not matter that these cats are beloved pets, and are well cared for by their owners. Mind you, these cats were purchased, adopted or rescued legally and these animal welfare want to retroactively make them illegal. If you do not have papers on your hybrid, such as you found one and opened your home to one of these cats, it will be taken and euthanized.

This is not animal welfare, but genocide of a cat breed! This petition is based on lies, propaganda, and hate for these cats! These are house cats and have the same type of problems that other cats have. The only difference, is they are more active and smarter. I think it is disgusting to villianize not only hybrid breeds, but responsible owners and breeders! I think that in this issue they are wrong and morally disguesting and it sickens me that this group can say they love and are concerned for animals while working with sanctuaries that are unethical, and support a ban that will lead to massive killings of this breed! Shame on you!

ALDF works long and hard to change laws and views on how animals are treated. Without their tireless work there wouldn't be much in the legal protection for animals.

Animal legal defence fund does excellent work. Working on our laws is the very fundamental. Great work done. Absolutely nothing to add that they don't already do.

This organization does not just send out sensational pictures, but informs the public about accurate Rights and regulations. Knowing that there is an organization that truly fights for the Rights of Animals in the Courts is assuring and influences me to want to use my own voice more for this cause.
There was a situation recently, that a friend requested my help to remove a FB page that was showing animal abuse in the form of humour. I felt that just removing this page was not enough, but finding out who was actually responsible for the images and the actual acts. I contacted Animal Legal Defense for some advice on what could possibly be done, which was not much, outside the Courts, but......they listened and supported my concerns. The abusers need to be brought to the Courts, and the Laws changed, so WE as the Public can be made aware and help make this World a better place for ALL the living!

They do right by animals and are pushing for stricter laws regarding abuse. I can think of nothing more worthwhile than to be a voice for the voiceless.

We need more organizations that fightto protect not only domestic animals but wild
animals as well. If we do not do more protecting of our pets..of the wild and animals that are cared and loved for food...even though we may eat meat this is not an excuse to
abuse..they must be loved..given fields and companionship
and put to sleep with care. Animal Abuse IS Child
Abuse and we must get the same penalties. This organization truly loves all animals and wants
to protect them. Thank you please continue doing the wonderful work you do.

Animal Legal Defense Fund is an outstanding group who stand up for animals when they are "wronged".
They are probably the only lawyers in the world who represent "innocent" clients....I fully support their work every chance I get.

Jacie A, who wrote about ALDF said she researched many nonprofits to figure out where to donate. I've tried checking out many myself. Good to hear her statement. Will consider ALDF safe until I hear otherwise. I also just signed up to become a member to Great Nonprofits page.

I donate as much as I can to this charity. I believe in and admire the work they do. God bless these angels helping and giving a voice to the animals that can't speak fot themselves. They think and feel and are precious and should be protected at all costs!!!!

I will begin law school, with a specialization in Animal Law, partly due to ALDF's resources, their commitment to animal protection within the legal framework, and knowing I have such a supportive group during my studies and once I become an attorney. ALDF has been one of my biggest inspirations for the last six years and they continue to take on new challenges, overcome obstacles, and do what many believe cannot be done. Plus, I've had the pleasure of meeting many of ALDF's employees and its founders; they're hilarious, motivating, personable, and well-versed on what they speak about.

One of the most important ways to make a strong impact on behalf of animals and their welfare is through the legal system. The Animal Legal Defense Fund is an extraordinary organization who fight for the rights of animals. ALDF is dedicated to bringing justice to animals by ensuring laws to protect them are enforced, and those who exploit and abuse animals are held accountable for their actions. We have a responsibility to protect those who truly have no voice – animals are innocent beings who deserve our advocacy. I am very appreciative for the ALDF and the tremendous work they do.

I have always loved The Animal Legal Defense Fund’s mantra “"We May Be The Only Lawyers On Earth Whose Clients Are All Innocent." It is so important to be a voice for those who have none – our animal friends who truly are innocent – and ALDF has proven repeatedly their commitment and dedication to helping animals in all situations whether it be a bear named Ben in a roadside zoo, a tiger named Tony at a Louisiana truck stop, the horrific puppy mill trade, sickening foie gras industry and countless other issues. Their work is critical to the welfare and lives of animals and I am thankful for this wonderful organization.

I particularly love this non-profit because they embrace both grassroots initiatives and advocacy on large scale to promote humane treatment of animals. If it were not for the Animal Legal Defense Fund I would know little of what I consider to be great atrocities of a progressive and civilized society. As someone from Kentucky who loves horses and lov(ed) the tradition of a day at the racetrack, I appreciated the ALDF sharing information on abuse and deaths at tracks, giving myself and others a broader perspective of the problems of the industry. As someone who works to promote health and nutrition, I appreciate the information that comes out on treatment of animals by food industry. ALDF is the only organization with a respectable voice in the treatment of animals. They make Americans stop and consider the humanity of our society from the lens of beautiful creatures God created and entrusted us to care for.
