On behalf of the girls who had received the scholarship from VCF, I would like to thank VCF for supporting, changing our lives. We can not be us like today without your help. More than an organization, VCF is our home.
3-month internship at VCF was a valuable experience as I got to meet incredible people and learn many new things. Many thanks to all VCF staff, who have built a cozy family-like working environment, with respect, common goals and communication, as well as supported me like a family member during my time here.
I became connected to the VinaCapital Foundation (VCF) via my public health graduate program. While my internship was only three weeks, I learned so much from VCF's team of dedicated, compassionate staff and volunteers. I hope to continue my relationship with VCF after I return to the U.S.! Thank you!
I volunteered at VinaCapital in January 2017. This is truly an exceptional organization, because of its hospitality, its professionalism and its dedication.
In my 3 months as an intern at VCF , I had a chance to be one of the first representative of Heartbeat Vietnam in Hanoi. My job was to support Gamuda team in Run For The Heart 2016 event. I've met, worked and became good friends with the nicest people that I can ever imagine. It was the most wonderful time in my life. Thank you VCF, I'm grateful from the bottom of my heart.
This organization helps a lot of children with heart disease to be healthy and happy again, really amzaming that they have save 5000 children!!!
This is a good program, it helps many people and support them have better life.
I have been a volunteer for a long time. VCF is a great NGO. It saved a lot of childrens from congenital heart disease. In the other hand, VCF also provided oppotunities for growth through health and education projects.
When i was a high school student i got a scolarship name "A Brighter Path". It created by VCF and Vu A Dinh. It helped me a lot. Now i become a volunteer of VCF. I write Bio of the childrens who was born with a heart defects. VCF saved many childrens and created some program to help childrens like as Run for the heart, Art for the heart, A Brighter Path, etc...
I am doctor who was trained by PALS which supported from Vinacapital foundation. I am very enjoy the course
I was volunteer in Vinacapital Foundation. It is a great NGO where I have worked
The Vinacapital Foundation provides much valuable to the training courses. Learning from medical specialists is very excited and it provides me with significant insights into my own jobs.
Thank you Vinacapital Foundation.
Deeply thanks to the VinaCapital Foundation. The sessions we learned from your training program are very useful and practical. I do hope that your organization will hold more training programs; sharing and update health information to doctors and nurses in Vietnam...
I have been a volunteer for several months of my summer. In my opinion, Heartbeat Vietnam has done a great job of making impacts on undeserved families that have their child/children with congenital heart defects. When I translated the profiles, the stories, and visited the patients at the hospital, I was touched by the family's situation, the emotions that they had been through, and how they overcome to seek help and support. Heartbeat Vietnam has offered more than just a financial relieve: the organization offered to change their identity, their meaning of life, and their stories.
Over these months, I had learned so much. I had learned about the situation of health care in Vietnam in general, I had learned about many different heart defects and how it affected a person's body. I had learned how to communicate, how to talk with a diverse group of people (the Heartbeat staff, the patients' families,...). It was a fantastic experience.
I have been a volunteer for 8 months at Vinacapital Foundation. I did think that I would be useless until I graduate (two years later). But nope, since I have worked here, I feel that I am doing the best job in this world, called helping and saving children's life. Everything we do there, everything we try now, it comes from the bottom of our hearts, with the hope that "there will not any children who will die with the congenital heart defect". So happy with what I am doing here. Thanks VCF for giving me the opportunity to do this job.
Thank VCF for organizing an useful BLS/APLS training for doctors and nurses. We hope that VCF will expand more training program in the highland area in order that doctors and nurses' skill will be improved.

Doctor from Muong Ang district hospital - Dien Bien province
I have a wonderful time to work with VCF. In the future, I would like to have an opportunity to accompany with VCF in order to bring more hopes and smiles to Vietnamese children
After doing volunteering for Starkey Hearing Foundation (SHF) and VinaCapital Foundation (VCF) in two days at Ho Chi Minh city. I certainly believe that we're still able to make a magic for this life and I really believe in the kindness of human. A very meaningful event I have ever experienced. Thank SHF and VCF so much because of bring the sounds back for the hearing loss patients, especially the children. I'm really pround about myself when being a volunteer of our organization
I took part in SHF and VCF's event in Hanoi. That is the most meaningful event i have ever joined.
I had wonderful time when taking part in VCF. Thanks to VCF, I indentified that I was luckier than other. Love VCF and SHF
I worked with VCF for two days ( 7-8/05/2016 ) in Starkey Hearing Loss program, It was the most beautiful memory I have ever had about volunteer works. Hopefully I can have chance to work with them :D
Vcf is a relatively small organisation with a huge value & impact on childrens lives in Vietnam. From life saving surgery to sustainable capacity building in the VN healthcare system, donations to this org will have real impact. After 5+ years observing their projects and working with the team, I have been impressed by the constant dedication of all, from top to bottom, and the efficiency and passion the team brings to each child, mission or capacity building endeavor. A gem in the world of NPOs!
I spent 3 weeks working at VCF. It is a great team of diverse people passion about what they do.
This is a useful institution, bring people closer together. So that no matter how poor or wealthy everyone has a chance to stop your passion. I was one of them.
Talking from a volunteers point of view:
On my way to Vung Tau on my holiday, I happen to watch the congenital heart disease videoclip made by heartbeat. Once I got back home, I searched them up, and wanted to help, but didn’t really know how, since I didn’t have the money to donate. Five years later, I got an opportunity to do some work in Vietnam, and decided to look up the organization again.
And here I am. As a volunteer at heartbeat, vcf, I’ve learned and seen that its more to this organization that what you immediately expect. And the most exciting thing about this organization is that as they are doing what they do – saving children’s lives – they are at the same time trying to build a functional backup system that can be adapted into the Vietnamese society’s health system. So that the work that we are doing now, saving children that have been overlooked by the system, will be included. Hopefully, the work vcf are doing will be part of the health system in the future. So if you want to be part of something bigger or just simply want to save a child’s life join vcf.
As for what I am getting out of this is a lifetime experience. I mean like, you get to work with people who are not only excited about what they do, but they also believe in what they do. As a volunteer at vcf you also get to meet other as dedicated as they are, and I am lucky enough to have the opportunity to be able to work with Starkey as a volunteer at vcf. If you like meeting new people, experiencing new adventures and things and see new places, you should definitely consider looking up this organization. Besides getting the best and perhaps an important moment in your life, you get to be part of someone else’s most precious and important moment in their life, as you help the children of Vietnam.
Have in mind that I've only been working for Heartbeat Vietnam , vcf, for under 2 weeks and still counting.
this nonprofit helped me know more new things.......
Vinacapital Foundaion has changed the lives of millions of people. This organization has helped those less fortunate fate to overcome physical barriers and spirit to a better future. The weak heart had risen, the innocent eyes shining again ..... VCF has opened their arms to help the souls before the abyss. It is really a miracle thing!
VCF has given me chances. Those are really valuable
Vinacapital Foundation has a projiect called "A brighter path" which provide scholarship for ethnic mironity girls for 7 years, 3 years in highschool and 4 years in college.
I am a student who have been recieved that scholarship. Durning the past 6 years, they really cared for us with all their hearts. In this busy crowded life, what they have done truly make me believe in a brighter and warmer future. I am very greteful for their help.
I joined "Run for Heart" event in HN of VCF, it was a great event and helpful not only for children with heart attack but also for us to understand the happiness of doing meaningful things. Hope VCF go on and do more great events!!!
I have been working with the VinaCapital Foundation as an intern for just over a month and have been amazed by the efficiency and passion shown by all those who work here. The VinaCapital Foundation fulfils a clear need in the community, bringing about enormous changes to the lives of disadvantaged children who without their help, may die. Not only do they work to help those children who are brought to them or whose families reach out to them, but they actively go out into the community to find those who may be unaware of their condition or unable to access medical help. This is an organisation that runs its programs with wonderful efficiency, achieving clear and tangible results for the children of Vietnam.
I am one of the volunteered board members of VCF since 2013. It has been a great pleasure for me to be involved with the work of VCF over the last two years. What I like best about VCF is the people who are involved in VCF to bring about improvements to the lives of children throughout Vietnam. Among the board members are very successful expats as well as local business people, community leaders, and public health professionals who all have the best interest of the children at heart. Knowing that my contribution goes directly to improve children's lives is strong motivation for me to continue to work with VCF.
You won't find your typical Vietnamese nonprofit organization when you open the door to Vinacapital Foundation's headquarters. The people involved at every level of the organization are excellent for the job and have a huge interest in helping people from every walk of life in Vietnam. VCF works to save children's lives by identifying heart defects and providing free surgery and also works to improve communities and women's lives by sending ethnic minority women to school for free. Overall, the organization itself is great, is filled with great people, and does amazing work.
Vinacapital Foundation is an amazing foundation with a great mission. I've only been an intern here for a few weeks but I'm thoroughly impressed by what they do and the efficiency of VCF. Not only is the foundation organized well, the staff are dedicated and passionate about what they do.
I really love the training program of The VinaCapital Foundation. “The skills and knowledge we learned at the training were very useful. The training provided us the necessary skills for caring and treating patients from the basics to advanced ways. After the training, I will organize some courses to train our medical team. I do hope the VinaCapital Foundation will organize more and more useful training classes in order to help health care providers with knowledge updated, which could help us to improve our skill. Our hospital also really want to receive medical equipment from VCF. Once again, thank you so much The VinaCapital Foundation.
We would like to thank you for the gifts - crash cart- from VCF. We are very proud of to be one of the sites of the Critical Response and building capacity for doctors in Mekong Delta Vietnam. These crash carts are not only contribute to our medical equipment but also help us in saving children’s life. On behalf of hospitals and health centers in Phu Quoc, we greatly appreciate the value of your donation and hope to receive more support in the future.”
The PALSprogram training of VCF is very useful to me.I had opportunity to join in such a professional and exciting course like this. The training materials including books, presentations, and medical equipment are precious. The instructors are very dedicated and enthusiasm. Although the two-day-course was somehow so tight with some young staffs but I think we should practice and get familiar with such tight time because working in Emergency Department requires medical staffs highly concentration with tight time counted in second to save a life. I would like to become an instructor so that I could use what I learn today to train for our staffs in our department in future. I hope VCF would be more and more training courses like this in many other hospitals.
To be a nurse, it is very important for us to keep update and upgrade our knowledge to have a good care to patients. Thank to BLS training by VCF, I learnt a lot and upgrade my knowledge to my daily task
I am a doctor who joined in the PALS training by VCF. It is great training and learnt a lot useful information. I hope that VCF will have more training for doctors and nurses to update knowledge.
I am very happy to raise the VinaCapital Foundation with 5-star for what they have been doing to help poor sick children in Vietnam. This is a great non-profit organization in Vietnam and I’ve always been more interested in what they do to improve the healthcare and make more meaningful for many families. Thank you VCF and highly appreciated!
VCF has helped to improve child health in Central Viet Nam via training and providing essential equipment. This is a great nonprofit organization in Viet Nam.
This program is really useful and helpful. Presentations gave lots of necessary knowledge helping me so much in my clinical practice. I learned a lot from professors as well as specialists inNeonatology. And I would like this project to continue so that may doctors and nurses could learn and benefit from it.
VinaCapital Foundation is a great organization who has been supporting lots of medical staff and saving many Vietnamese children lives. I have the opportunity to work and participate in training programs funded by VinaCapital Foundation. The people at VCF are really wonderful to cooperate with and the dedication they put into to save lives of children in Vietnam is remarkable. Thank you VinaCapital Foundation
Thank you Vinacapital foundation for great donation for children and doctors in Vietnam. The telemedicine has been the great initiative I have ever joined in. I hope to get many more symposium in Cardiac care and cardiac surgery in future. Thank you Vinacapital foundation and the experts.
The VinaCapital Foundation has organized many useful telemedicine sessions for our doctors since 2008. I think it is a great initiative for enhancing capacity for medical staff in Vietnam. Hoping that we will get more and more telemedicine in the coming years. Thank you VinaCapital Foundation.
I am pleased to vote five star for this great nonprofit VinaCapital Foundation who deserves rewards for their efforts. Our staffs at neonatal department have been receiving much support from this organization. We have been receiving much medical trainings and we now can train other doctors. Over the years, VinaCapital Foundation not only provided us trainings but also donated to our department lot of medical equipment and machines such as ventilators, infusion pumps…These kinds of medical equipment are very useful and help us a lot in children’s treatment. We realized how change it’s going to be - the infant mortality rate is lower and lower compared by year. That’s a fantastic story that VinaCapital Foundation brings to us and Vietnamese children. Thank you so much and your support is highly appreciated!
Thanks for Vinacapital Foundation. The sessions are very useful and practical. I hope that VCF will hold more programs about the medicine.
VinaCapital Foundation is an amazing nonprofit organization! I had a great chances to participate in training courses funded by VinaCapital Foundation. Much of knowledge and skill I have been learning from programs that can be applied to my work. Hope VinaCapital Foundation continues to do more programs in order to help me and my colleagues improving knowledge in saving Vietnamese children. Thank you very much. Great job!
Good foundation with good activities for public health. Thanks a lot. Hoping that it can do more for primary care and basic science research in Vietnam.
I hope the VinaCapital Foundation have more and more Cardiac symposium for cardiologists using the video conferencing technology. We have opportunities to connect with the experts abroad and meeting and sharing experience with many doctors in different hospitals in Vietnam. Thank you vinaCapital Foundation giving us the chance to connect with many other doctors.
I have opportunities to cooperate with VinaCapital Foundation for more than 5 years with Outreach clinics program and Cardiac Symposium series that is extremely good for medical staff in Vietnam and helpful for poor patients in remote areas.
Just graduated from high school, I decided to volunteer at the VinaCapital Foundation through the referral of a family's friend. My experience greatly exceeded my expectations. Throughout the few weeks at VCF, I came to know of the people at this nonprofit as compassionate, kind, and wonderful people who genuinely care about helping Vietnam and providing opportunities for its people. They are highly effective in what they do with successful and long-standing programs such as Heartbeat Vietnam and A Brighter Path. I will forever remember my trips to the hospital to visit small children with congenital heart defects who were sponsored by the VinaCapital Foundation to have the heart surgeries, and the brilliant happiness that occurs on their parents' faces. Thank you so much for everything!
The Nonprofit is very helpful. I appreciate sessions of neonatal care for doctors and nurses. Thank Vinacapital Foundation so much!
I have joined sessions of the telemedicine series on neonatal care, funded by The VinaCapital Foundation, and are presented by the great specialist instructor Professor. Steven Ringer from Havard Medical School. I have learnt many new lessons and updated my existing knowledge of diseases or shared experience in clinical practice by leading experts. This program is great and it could help me to improve skills and knowledge. Moreover, I had a great chance to meet and share experiences with colleagues from other sites in the country and overseas. VinaCapital Foundation is great nonprofit organization who supports many doctors in improving medical knowledge and also saves many Vietnamese children lives! Thank you so much.
I am Nurse from CICU of Pediatric hospital in HCMC. Thank VCF very much for donating ventilator our hospital. Before donation, our department had shortage of ventilation to save children life. We took a lot of time to use the bag-mask and it is not effective, nurses and their family took turn to use the bag-mask on the patients. Thank to the ventilator from VCF, we save more times and can care a lot of patients. It is save many lives. I hope that VCF will support more ventilators for hospitals to save many lives.
I learned a lots when I joined the video conferencing for neonatal doctors. Hope Vinacapital foundation will have more and more training sessions like this. Thanks.
Please keep going on the neonatal care program. It's very useful for doctors and nurses like us. Thanks Vinacapital foundation
the online symposiums of Vinacapital on congenital heart disease are very interesting and useful for Vietnamsese doctors. We can learn and share the knowledgse and experiences on diagnosis and treatment with vietnamese and abroad collegues.
