From the moment we arrived we were very immpressed. This organization is so efficient and not only meets peoples immediate needs, but helps them live. It then helps them establish a new way of living and gets them equipped to become independent.

I have run across people who had friends there. They were down on their luck and out there doing the wrong things .They moved into this place and got their lives straightened out. Now I hear they have a good life , and are happy.

The people here are very happy and this place actually shows them how to get back on their feet again. They go through steps to keep them safe and on the right track. They also are fed 3 meals a day, very good ones at that!

I am always happy to help, but sometimes am not sure what I can do to help. I noticed how much little jobs were appreciated and needed here, it gave me ideas and inspiration to find new ways to help out.

I brought a group of youths for a trip with our church youth group. The staff at Turning Point is well organized and very very friendly. They were very attentive to our group and we spent many hours just spending time with the seniors and talking to them!
