I am grateful to be a member of AAVS. AAVS is an organization with integrity and an excellent reputation for providing advocacy for animals and humans alike, resources for those wishing to take action on behalf of animals and helpful information on issues important to me. I wish they had more members to provide an even greater base of financial support for their good works! I feel like I contribute to the important issues of animal welfare just by being a supporter and I look forward to the AAVS magazine to keep me updated on the latest efforts. I do sign up for the AAVS alerts- emails of legislation and up-to-the-minute appeals to organizations. These alerts allow me to be quickly advised of pending issues and creates the opportunity to respond to law makers & others in position to affect policies in mere moments with pre-populated (but personalizable) emails. I'm a "lay person" but all their literature is interesting and written in language easily understandable. Please consider looking further into the organization, I expect you'll be grateful too!

AAVS is a wonderful organization that works hard to support and advocate for animal rights and also educate the public about the harsh truths about animal testing. I have been a member for 20 years.

If the world had more people like this, we would all live in a better place. Thank you for caring and actually doing something about it. We need to end animal experimentation. It's cruel and useless. I appreciate all that AAVS does to eliminate the needless suffering of animals. It is a barbaric practice that is just not necessary. Bravo to AAVS!

AAVS is my absolute favorite animal-focused charity because they make advocacy so easy. With one or two clicks I have a pre-prepped email ready to send to my local government officials. It's empowering to be a member of AAVS!

Out of the dozens of nonprofit organizations that I have donated to, AAVS ranks at the very top for their high-level advocacy and educational awareness of animal welfare. And AAVS is facing new challenges with the advent of BMO's - Biologically Modified Organisms - the combination of two or more species to create "some-thing" new and abhorrent. If I only had $5 to go to charities this year, AAVS would that $5!

AAVS does incredible and vital work to promote the cessation of cruelty to animals that we, the "superior" species, continues to visit upon them. Their mission of education, outreach, and support helps to make the lives of many of those creatures far better than they have been used to.

AAVS improves the lives of animals through citizen activism, in-depth reporting, legal strategies, and compelling public education; their many successful campaigns and programs, include alternative research methods, teaching the public about compassionate shopping, promoting the adoption of humane science education, and supporting sanctuaries. I am grateful that it exists, and appreciate the chance they give me to work beside them in their mission by promoting petitions I can sign, phone calls I can make, and outreach I can do on my own.

AAVS is a highly respected and active organization that gets to the heart of the matter - that is, saving our animal kin from torture, abuse and exploitation. No living thing should suffer at the hands of another, especially for many tests that wouldn't even be considered in court. Let's respect all creatures and agree we have no right to abuse them for any reason. AAVS has been working hard to prevent vivisection.

I always remember having to cut up a frog in biology class and I'm 75 years old now. It's a terrible, horrific thing to ask kids to do that. God gave us the animals to watch over and that's what the American Anti-Vivisection Society does, watch over and try to make their lives better. I've always hated the thought of animals being tortured by man experimenting on them, so that's why I love this group. They're trying to stop all the torture and save the animals.

AAVS is important to me because I believe no animal should endure a life of captivity and torture. AAVS is working to end this outdated and cruel practice.

I support the AAVS because I love animals and believe they should be free to live in happiness, without humans using them for personal gain. Every day in the name of "science", thousands of these beautiful animals are tortured and killed and most people do not even know about it. The AAVS gets the word out and helps people like me learn the truth and spread the word. They work to end this inhumane treatment and help save thousands of lives through their work and commitment to educate, heal, and ultimately put an end to these barbaric actions. Without them, many would be left in the dark, clueless to the cruelty that surrounds us. THANK YOU AAVS FOR SHOWING ME THE LIGHT! ♡♡♡

AAVS is one of the most important charities in the country that it would be difficult to attempt even a summary of the many projects in which they are involved.

I support the American Anti-Vivisection Society because what they do makes a difference both short-term, and most importantly, long-term. I read the reports and know that they have consistently gotten excellent results. I can't imagine a world without them and the work that they do.

I joined the American Antivivisection Society in the early 1980s as a lifetime member because I believe that animals are not here for food or entertainment of humans. The AAVS philosophy is in line with mine: education is key for young and old to expose and ultimately stop the inhumane treatment of all non-human life. This organization continues to set the standard for an animal rights organization. Bravo to them.

We need organizations like AAVS, to bring issues to the fore ground, that people know nothing of or about and to continue their hard work and sometimes struggle to get the message across, that we need to make changes and be more understanding towards our fellow sentient beings, that also feel pain and suffering, grief, sadness and happiness just as we do. Thank you to AAVS for doing what you do and to keep up the good work.
