I have volunteered with several other rescue groups throughout the last 20 years. I can honestly say this group is top notch. All of the dogs that are rescued are fostered and evaluated before an adoption is made. The volunteers are a very caring group of people dedicated to the well being of the golden retrievers.

I just can't say enough about how GREAT this organization is along with all their wonderful and caring volunteers. You can tell everyone is so dedicated to finding the best homes possible for their rescue dogs. What I liked about this rescue is none of their dogs are in kennel facility, but are all in loving foster homes where they can be better evaluated and cared for in a home environment. Everyone I dealt with during our adoption process made every effort to see that the adoption went smoothly (which it did). I feel like I've met some wonderful new friends within this rescue and I can't thank them enough for all they've done to bring so much joy and happiness in our lives by helping us to adopt our two sweet Golden Retrievers.

This is a hard-working group of dedicated volunteers. We are ranked the 4th highest group throughout the U.S. in having rescued more Golden Retrievers this past year. A lot of volunteers put their personal lives and families "on hold" to rescue these second-chance Goldens.

What a nightmare! The woman they sent to my home was obviously unbalanced. She 'inspected' my home and told me what dog would be appropriate for me. Long story short, she brought the dog to my home and left him with me but refused to adopt him to me and wouldn't exactly tell me why. I called multiple times asking to complete the adoption, but didn't get a call back. Then one way when I was away from home, she came to my home and actually removed the dog from my yard! Calls to her have gone unresponded to. I called the management of this organization to report this incident, and no one has called me back or seems to care. This person has been in my house, and feels she can come on my property uninvited; this is pretty scary.

I recently adopted a dog from this rescue. From the time I was first contacted upon my application being reviewed to the home interviewer coming to my home, I have never met a more terrific group of rescue folks. I had tried to adopt a dog from another golden retriever rescue GRCGLAR and it was just the opposite. Just a great overall experience
