Hello! I've been donating to Simone's Kids for the last couple of years! This is a great non-profit because I know that the money I donate is really supporting the kids over there. I've received plenty of updates about what is going on and have also received items and letters from the kid I help support! The school has grown tremendously and I love that the kids are being taught the word of God. Simone is also a very loving and devoted person to these kids. She has given so much time to this especially for the age she is. This is a lot of dedication and love for a young adult! Thank you Simone for your hard work and most of all your love! God is great and He called you for this!
I first began volunteering with Simone's Kids in the summer of 2013 when I traveled with a team of people to Uganda. I instantly fell in love with the children that the ministry serves! Because of the work of Simone's Kids, there are over 400 children that are getting an elite education for free. After the trip, I began to sponsor two children that I had met while I was there. It is a huge blessing in my life to be given the opportunity to work with Simone and her organization. Knowing that every single penny that is raised or donated goes to bettering the life of the amazing children makes every effort more than worth it. Right now, the ministry is building a new school building for the students, providing two meals a day for each child and also supplying school supplies. Because I have been to meet and get to know the children, I can truly say that the work that Simone's Kids does is not only changing the lives of those children, but changing my life.
I began volunteering with Simone's Kids earlier this year. I have truly enjoyed my time spent volunteering with this organization. I also began sponsoring a sweet little girl. I love getting pictures and letters from her. It's great to see how well she is doing thanks to Simone's Kids. This organization is doing a great job in making a difference in this world.
We were introduced to Simone's kids by a student at Lee University. Simone's charity is so inspiring because when she saw a need, she did something about it by starting this amazing charity. Sponsorship is completely affordable and there's nothing better than getting a response from those precious children. She has teams that travel, you get updates all the time, and you can trust your money is being used for what you've allocated it for. Such little money monthly to completely change a life. It's an amazing charity.
Simone's Kids has put real faces behind the need in Africa. While Simone and the teams that travel to Uganda are the hands and feet we as donors get to share in their progress through social media. We have watched school buildings being erected, classrooms get filled with simple school supplies and in some instances seen what basic medical care can do for the children. Simone's Kids is straight forward on how the donated dollars are utilized, monthly cost to feed a child, the cost of desks and books, even the cost to build the schools. Simone's love for these kids is contagious.
I am so happy to write a review for Simone's Kid. I have had great experience with Simone (founder of Simone's Kids. Her passion is evident in her drive and work for her kids. It has been fun to watch over the last few years how the school has grown. I would recommend everyone to watch all of the you tube videos to see the progression of the school. If you are considering giving to this organization you won't think twice after meeting Simone and hearing her vision!
I loved having the opportunity to help Simone get letters out to the families that are supporting this great cause. it was an equal privilege to hear Simone's story, her heart, and her passion for these kids and their future. There are not enough of us in this world that are willing to go and live out the Great Commission. It's an honor to help Simone in her endeavors. Her inspiration causes us to not only pray for her safety and success with these children, but also that God would put the same sense of urgency and passion in our own hearts!
Simone's heart for these orphans exceeds their need for help. I am proud to be a very small part of such a great organization. We are called to "Sing to the Lord, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples" and that is what Simone's Kids does every day (1 Chronicles 16:23-24). I know the Father is pouring out his blessings through this non-profit.
I know the founder of Simone's Kids personally and I can honestly say that she has the biggest heart of anyone I know. Her heart breaks for the Children in Uganda who have much less than our standard in America. She understands that these children just need a hope for their future; they need to know that they CAN come out and rise above their current circumstance and SImone's Kids is dedicated to giving them every opportunity possible. The non-profit has made great progress for the children so far, and I can not wait to see what more our contributions can do for these beautiful children.
I was able to travel with Simone's Kids to Uganda this summer for three and a half weeks. It was an incredible experience where I was able to help the community in Nakaseke, Uganda. We worked with the children of God's Hope Primary School by working to better their lives through health and education. We traveled to many different foster homes and talked with the guardians about any needs that we could help with. We also started the building project of the new building of the school. Simone worked hard to make sure the buildings would be good quality and cost effective. Another team member and I were also able to go to each ward of the local hospital, putting together a list of things that they needed. Overall working with Simone's Kids was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I plan to return to Uganda next summer for two months.
Simone's Kids gives the Gospel of Christ feet. I will support this ministry over and over again because I can see the results of my giving and the lives changed.
An incredible cause. Simone is a selfless young lady that has committed her life to these beautiful children. I am cautious with my charitable contribution dollars and am very blessed to donate to this ministry. Denise Castro, CPA
A young woman who recently graduated from Lee University was compelled after visiting Uganda in Africa, to begin an organization that aided the children she encountered. The organization has been growing since it's beginnings thanks to the loyal support of those who also see a need and wish to help respond. This organization is very well-planned, thought out, and efficient with everything it receives. It's a wonderful non-profit to support!
Simone's Kids is a WONDERFUL organization. Unlike other non-profits where you donate money but never really see where your money is going, Simone's Kids makes a great effort to show you the difference you are making. Whether through letters to your sponsor child, email updates of the progress being made in the school building efforts in Africa or photos or the children receiving the aide you are giving, every donor is shown the very real impact they are making. I would highly recommend supporting this organization as it is run by a woman with a heart for God's children and is truly a demonstration of Christ's call for our lives.
"But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth". 1 John 3:17-18
I recently sponsored a child from Simone's Kids. I was very impressed with the work Simone is doing. I especially like being able to follow the projects and activities going on in Uganda, through Facebook. Its great to be able to see the improvements this organization is making in the lives of so many children.
I was so impressed by the direction this organization is headed and the impact it has already made in the lives of these children, that I am planning on volunteering with Simone's Kids in Uganda next summer.
We had an opportunity at work to see a presentation by Simone Puccinelli of Simone's Kids and were very impressed with the work she is doing and the lives they are changing. We had an opportunity to sponsor a child or make a donation. I was one that adopted a 6 year old girl to help fund her education. we received a photo of her and are able to send her letters and small items to encourage her learnng. I have recommended Simone's Kids to many people because i feel this is a very well thought out organization yet it still has the personal touch. it is amazing what one girl from Taylorsville Georgia has been able to accomplish starting this organization. Please support Simone's Kids
Simone's Kids is a wonderful non profit. I doante and follow her on facebook. You get to see your money at work imediatley. And you get to see those wonderful smiling faces of the beautiful children she serves in Africa. Getting these children sponsered so they can attend to school and building a school is the going to be the advantage these children have to change the world as adults. What a blessing.
I am new to Simone's Kids. I am a sponsor of a child for $12.00 a month. I still find it hard to believe that I am helping a child for such a small amount. To help a child with their education is such an important thing. It will help her see the love of God and help her build a future for herself and her family. I am thankful that Simone and her volunteers are being the hands and feet of our Lord. May God bless you all!
The work that Simone is doing is so needed. She is changing the lives of so many special children who deserve an education and adequate food and shelter. Her heart is dedicated to doing even more and there is no doubt in my mind that she will accomplish this.
I donte money to Simone's Kids because I see the difference we make in the children's lives. My husband and I donate monthly to make a change in a child's life.
Simone's Kids is a non-profit organization designed to provide an education, housing, clothes and food for underprivlege kids and orphans. This ministry was birthed in the Simone heart as a young girl after visiting Uganda on a missions trip. Simone believes that every child's needs should be provided along with being introduced to Jesus. The cost to provide the necessarities in Uganda are minimal compared to the U.S. If everyone would simply sacrifice a fast food meal per week, the yearly needs of these children would be met with this simple sacrifice.
We love supporting Simone's Kids. The work that Simone is doing for these kids is amazing. These 300 kids are now getting the education that they need and food. Simone is a very driven person and is doing a great work for these kids.
Simone's kids is an amazing charity and ministry! I love seeing photos of the children whose lives are being changed by what God is doing through Simon's kids! This charity/ministry really puts life and the things we take for granted into perspective. It really makes you more appreciative of the lives we are able have in America. Simones kids is a progam that strives to give these children the same quality of education and life that we get here! Seeing God work never gets old!
Simone's Kids is an awesome non profit organization that directly helps children. The monies donated go to the kids and securing their learning enviroment. Last year a building fund was begun to purchase land and began building facilities to provide a school for the children. The land was purchased and the classrooms were begun. If you are looking for a true work in progress to donate to this is a great one.
I have personally donated money to Simone's Kids, and I have seen the work that Simone has done to make the childrens dreams reality. For example every year Simone takes the children on a field trip. It is fun to see all the pictures from these field trips, it really shows how much the organization invest in the children.
From my personal experience with Simone's Kids, I have fallen in love with the non-profit. Simone is an excellent manager and handles the organization very well. I was fortunate enough to actually go to Uganda this past summer with a 5 person team, and could not believe how smoothly everything runs. Seeing what the company's focus is on (the kids) made me so happy, because I feel that so many people in control of non-profits let other personal wants and needs cross over with the funds that are raised for the purpose of the non-profit. Simone is in love with the people of Uganda, and I know that Simone's Kids will do incredible things in Nakaseke, Uganda.
