This is an amazing organization. They have some people and businesses involved that do things out of pure love and no other reason. I'm grateful to work for one of the businesses that has brought it to my life. I get to know about fundraisers, the kids, the families, the annual 5K, and so much more. This is an amazing group of people that every organization should strive to mimic.
I served on the Board the first two years Riley's Army began and I continue to stay connected by praying for the families, photographing various RA events and volunteering in other ways to help their worthy cause. When it first started, we were planing just a couple events each year . . . and now the number of events/activities that RA sponsors for these families is so incredibly beautiful to see. Sadly, the numbers of participating families continues to grow, but what an amazing comfort Riley's Army is to these families . . . spiritual/educational/physical support, meals, gas, running errands, sitting with the children in the hospital, providing opportunities for these families to see they are not alone . . . I am honored to volunteer for this outstanding organization!
As a Grandmother to a Princess with leukemia. Riley's Army is awesome. They aren't just a group of strangers, they are family. From talking to you, providing meals while hospitalized, offering to sit with your child, interacting with the children, and just having the absolute most love. We love and appreciate everything you guys do.
I have volunteered with Riley's Army for about a year now and have loved doing so. The love and support they give to the children and families is amazing. The feeling of knowing someone has your back and is there for you is a phenomenal feeling. When you get that from a whole organization, and being able to be a part of that organization, is the best feeling in the world.
I am a client whom was served by Riley's Army. I found the organization to be professional, yet with a personal touch, friendly , and always willing to serve families in any capacity. No service was too big or too small. I was touched personally by this organization. They were just there for you. They did things for you without making you feel small. They cared and we knew it. They are so willing to help. We are so lucky to have this organization in this area. I could go on for days talking about the impact that Riley's Army have on the families of kids that have cancer. This is an awesome group of volunteers.
This is an exceptional organization geared towards supporting children and their families as they battle pediatric cancers. I am ever in awe of the great work they do and have seen first hand how they touch, support, and inspire through kindness and compassion. Riley's Army is such a blessing to so many when life seems at its hardest and we are fortunate to have such a wonderful resource.
Riley's Army is a top notch nonprofit organization.
They have exceptional volunteers who are so ready
And willing to lend a helping hand for families
Who have a child who has been diagnosed
With cancer. They offer gas cards, gift cards to restaurants
And they are more than willingly to come to the hospital and
Sit with their child just so family members can
Get out of the hospital for a while. Riley's Army is
An awesome organization.
This is a awesome group of people. A true blessing to meet and have them in your life as cancer can turn it upside down. Just when I was alone with my daughter and scared to death in walked Riley army. There are not enough words to explain how they help children and families. Always have events for the children and let them know they have an army to help and pray for them.
Riley's Army support local families with children having the dreaded disease, cancer. They are dedicated to ensuring the children have a positive atmosphere to become superheroes. Families become one unit and support each other. The volunteers are always a shoulder for the parents and the children. If the care, the love, and the dedication from RA was a cure, cancer would not exist. Awesome organization.
My newborn daughter was diagnosed at four weeks old with neuroblastoma. Hearing the words your child has cancer is beyond any nightmare imaginable. Riley's Army serves families fighting chikdhood cancer 24/7, 365 days a year. Every family has different needs and no matter the need, Riley's Army makes it happen. Selfless volunteers flood the hospital daily with either delivering gifts or food or to babysit the child so parents can take a break. The bond shared with these giving people is a bond that can never be broken. Riley's Army goes above and beyond their call of duty and we are blessed to have met such incredible people.
