Great place for animal lovers and conservationists of any age. The grounds are beautifully kept and landscaped. Providing the best animal care possible is the their number one priority. There are 17 exotic cats, you will have the opportunity to get to know each of them and their stories. You will learn a tremendous amount about the various species natural history and the problems they face in the wild. And in the process, you will fall in love with each and every one of them.

I have visited twice and will go back again. The facility is perfect for the cats. They have more toys than my cats (LOL). You can tell Judy and the people who work there love the animals and the cats seem happy.
All donations are well deserved. Keep up the good work.

I have been taking groups of friends to Panther Ridge for over a year. Each visit has been so special and interesting. These amazing cats are loved and cared for with the up most attention from the staff and Judy. It is so wonderful to see how these cats are love and love Judy (as she is mom to them). The surroundings are beautiful, well keep, always a wonderful day.
Thank you so much Judy for what you are doing and for sharing it with us.

I discovered this gem through a Meetup group and was so happy I RSVPed immediately. What an incredible facility, immaculate. All of the cats are cared for so well and have enrichment activities daily, very important to these animals' cognitive stimulation. I would highly recommend anyone visit the wonderful staff, Judy, and all of her amazing cats.

Thank you,

Panther Ridge Conservation Center and founder, Judy Berens, are held in high esteem in the Palm Beaches, as well as nationally and internationally for the excellent care provided for abused, neglected , unwanted and endangered big cats. The facilities are custom built and considered to be amongst the finest and most attractive in the world and once you have visited PRCC you will marvel at the cats in their native looking habitats,. Many of the exotic cats require life long medical attention and the veterinary care in this facility is first rate. Panther Ridge is a both an education & research conservation center and relies heavily on contributions. Visiting Panther Ridge to meet the world's most majestic big cats is a thrilling and rewarding experience !

I did an internship with Prcc in spring of 2015. It was the best experience I have ever had. The facility is impeccable. Husbandry standards for the animals go above and beyond. Judy has made true paradise happen in Wellington, Florida. There is not a better non-profit than Panther Ridge.

Panther ridge has spared no expense in providing the most comfortable surroundings for all of it's beautiful animals. It seems more like a luxury hotel for Big Cats. The cats are all beautiful and well cared for and it shows the second you walk into the facility. Judy cares for her animals like they are her children and I just love visiting. If you are into animals and want to support a place that truly takes care of there animals and doesn't abuse them simply for a profit this is the place to visit. If you are passing the west palm, wellington or palm beach county area you must stop by and give this place a visit you won't regret it. You can see Cheetahs, and Jaguars, Cougars, Clouded Leopards, Caracals, and Ocelots from just a few feet away and they are all so tame and come right up to Judy. If you are going to do a tour take the directors tour from Judy herself it's well worth the extra few bucks and you get a better interaction with the animals as they love her so much. Check this place out you wont regret it.

My husband and I visited PRCC in early July 2015 for my 40th birthday. It was the gift of a lifetime. Well... MY lifetime anyways!! I too rescue animals, just of a much smaller stature and I must say that visiting this facility and witnessing first hand the effort that goes into the enrichment and care of these Big Cats is truly amazing. We did the Directors Tour with Judy herself and it was a real treat to get to hear the stories of each of the beauties on site.
To know that there are places like this and people like Judy (& her tiny team) that see the importance of ensuring that generations to come can experience the beauty of nature within the eyes of these wonderful animals... It makes my heart happy... And the world a better place!!
Thank you SO MUCH Judy... For the experience, For the work you do to help those endangered species, For the ambassadorship... For your dedication... Thank you so much!

Panther Ridge is an immaculate and well-run sanctuary. I began volunteering in 2009 and I am still there. The residents receive the best of care and are active and healthy. The enclosures are large and well-landscaped. The animals are give lots of attention and enrichment. It is the best-run sanctuary I have ever volunteered for. I highly recommend a visit if you are in the area!

Panther Ridge Conservation Center is one of the very finest places for all the animals that live on the grounds. They are shown great love and attention to every detail of their care. Each enclosure is well maintained and appropriately sized for the specific Exotic Cat. They are constantly given enrichment to keep them highly stimulated and are given a very Specific Diet - each carefully selected specifically just for them as an individually. The tours at Panther Ridge are definitely unique as you are given personal attention. All of your questions are answered and you are never rushed, it is a nice relaxing pace and ample time is spent with each animal. What a joy to see such a spectacular facility. It is definitely something you and your family members will talk about for years to come!!! I enjoy volunteering at a facility that has the Beautiful Exotics at the very top of the priority for all their needs and care.

I have visited this facility on many occasions and have seen first hand the care and love that these animals receive on a daily basis. The entire grounds are kept with the utmost care inside and outside of the animal enclosures. You can see that each of them are very happy. It is a true blessing to see someone that is genuinely interested in making sure that each individual animal is truly being attended to. You can see that a great amount of time and commitment is given to them with the utmost love and respect for them. They are treated like family not residents. I recommend this place all of the time to everyone I meet. If you want to see love in action. Take a day to tour this place I promise you and your family will enjoy it.

Panther Ridge Conservation Center has been and will continue to be a destination visit for many of our friends who come to Florida from the Northeast. The habitats for the cats are carefully planned and maintained for their comfort. The animals look very healthy and well cared for. The guided tours are extremely informative. I always look forward to introducing visitors to Panther Ridge because it is so rewarding to experience the sanctuary through new eyes.

Panther Ridge is a fantastic place. It is a beautiful sanctuary for big cats that have been abused, confiscated, and even retired from zoos and circuses. Many of the cats suffer from ailments derived from their previous owners. Panther Ridge pledges to care for them until the end. Each of the cats has their own personality and mannerisms. Amos, the black leopard, is a laugh a minute when he runs around his enclosure trying to startle guests. Macho, an ocelot, is a vision of beauty as he sunbathes while lying on a branch of his own personal tree. Charlie cheetah is a beautiful specimen, and his love and admiration for his care giver Judy is a bond that is visual.

Panther Ridge is also a fantastic photo opportunity for photographers to photograph these amazing animals without having to travel to their native lands. Ocelots, Servals, Jaguars, and Clouded Leopards are just some of the species Panther Ridge cares for.

Panther Ridge is a fantastic place to be!!! Whether as a volunteer or visitor, you will never be as close to these incredible animals. as you will at Panther Ridge. I spent over 10 years at a similar facility in Nevada & Arizona, you will not find a better place in South Florida.

Panther Ridge is an amazing and pristine sanctuary for abandoned, abused, and retired big cats. I have spent many years volunteering with these glorious felines and have felt blessed to be in their presence. I have brought many groups of college students to help rebuild habitats and everyone of them has been moved to tears to have been of service to such marvelous spirits. For many students, it has been a once in a lifetime opportunity for them to see and get to know these rare felines as souls with value, unique personalities, and meaning as opposed to a "just" a beautiful cat in a cage. Their enclosures are beautiful and natural and NO cat has to sleep on hard concrete like many places I have visited. Judy Berens works tirelessly to provide them with not only the proper food and medicine, but loving enrichment and activities. These well adjusted and happy felines are a testimony to the loving care that they receive from the staff and volunteers. The tours provide tremendous opportunities for education about the issues facing these animals in the wild by developing a one on one connection with each feline. I have been to many other facilities and this one is the best.....by far! It's well worth a visit!

Panther Ridge is my heaven on earth. It is a beautiful property filled with unique cats that are seldom seen in such a close setting. I have been blessed to volunteer there for 7 months, rebuilding some of the decking and structures in the cats’ enclosures. It has been a life changing experience to communicate with and assist such noble animals and the dedicated people that take care of them so well. I can’t begin to explain how rewarding it is to raise a roof on the den for of an old, wise, loving, and very arthritic cougar. Then to see that cougar realize that he no longer has to stoop down to enter his den, and in his joy, approaches me at the fence and thanks me with his precious vocalizations and a dance of love. After re-decking the lock out enclosure for Amos the black leopard, he rubbed on the fence between us trying to hug me and vocalized his gratefulness. The world would be a more compassionate place if everyone was lucky enough to have the experiences that I have had while working with these big cats. Many of the animals were abandoned by their original owners and came to Panther Ridge feeling unloved and filled with anxiety. To witness their recovery and capacity to trust again is truly remarkable and gives me hope for the world. Judy, the director, has given so much of her time and love to ensure that these animals know their own worth and you feel that as soon as you enter the place. The staff is very knowledgeable about all the cats and their individual personalities and they work very hard at maintaining a healthy, clean, and loving environment for them. I recommend that everyone tour the place or spend some time volunteering. You will definitely receive more that you give!

This is by far the best place I've Volunteered. Attention to animal care is the number one priority. The facility and dietary need of each animal are catered to with attention also to enrichment for the cats. I would recommend everyone to call for a tour, I can guarantee you'll be amazed, Judy is amazing and the cats are extraordinary.

This is the most beautiful facility I've ever volunteered for. Attention to the dietary and enrichment needs of each individual cat make Panther Ridge CC stand out as an exceptional Conservation Center.

Having volunteered at several facilities across the Country, I have to put Panther Ridge Conservation center at the top of my list. Habitats, diets and enrichment plans for the cats go way above standard and resident felines receive a level of exceptional care. Tours for guests are unparalleled. Fully guided, visitors never need to walk past an enclosure wondering "did they see all there was to be seen." At the end of an approximate two hours, guests leave with an expanded knowledge of not only each species but each individual cat's special story.
