My Wife's fascination with big cats lead us to a tour of Panther Ridge on a recent visit to Florida. I was personally blown away by this place and the staff. This isn't just a place for this incredible animals to exists, it's a staff and environment that I think would well exceed anyones expectations of care and love for this cats. The cats live better than I do. The grounds are immaculate. The cats are not only incredible to see up close but the depth of knowledge and caring from Judy and her staff including interns Alexis and Sadie was impressive. I HIGHLY recommend you visit this place if your in South Florida.
Panther ridge is an amazing facility dedicated to the conservation of big cats. It is a safe haven for animals in need and is a must see for those in the area! The bond Judy and her staff members have with these animals is amazing, and you can truly feel the love these animals receive when you are there. Housing some very endangered species, this is a wonderful facility helping these animals in need. Would highly recommend a visit!
Panther Ridge Conservation Center is a haven for some of the most endangered cats on the planet. The animals live in species appropriate enclosures with trees and water features. More importantly, they are lovingly cared for by a dedicated staff that attends to their every need. The education programs connect people with wildlife and encourage everyone to develop a lifelong interest in conservation efforts to save the our precious wild treasures.
In my opinion, a visit to Panther Ridge Conservation Center is a must, whether you are just visiting beautiful south Florida or if you're a local resident. The facility is home to several amazing exotic cats, all of which receive the utmost love, and attention. Owner and operator Judy Berens has spared no expense in the housing and care of these animals, ensuring a quality of life second to none. The staff at Panther Ridge are extremely caring and knowledgeable, and are always ready to answer any questions you may have as well. Sure, Florida boasts a number of theme parks, beaches, and vacation destinations, but none of which compare to the experience that an educational and informative personal tour of Panther Ridge provides.
The Panther Ridge Conservation center is a beautiful sanctuary for exotic cats. The staff are very friendly and knowledge able about each species and you can see they have a true passion for what they do. The animals are very happy and love to greet visitors. My first trip here was for a school field trip and I have gone back a couple times now with friends. We are never disappointed by our experience. A visit to Panther Ridge is a must for any one near Palm Beach County who wants to see Big Cat species up close and learn about the uniqueness of each species here.
Panther Ridge is a gorgeous sanctuary for abused, abandoned exotic cats. Every animal has their own story here and they are treated like royalty. The entire facility is breath taking and everything is so clean! you can tell the staff really loves the animals and it definitely shows. the tour guides have an immense amount of knowledge about each animal and have special bonds with them. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves animals!
Had a wonderful time on a private tour with Judy today. You can truly see the special bond Judy has with her big cats. Very special place run by wonderful people.
My husband and myself have had the pleasure of visiting Panther Ridge Conservation Center a few times in the past. We know Judy, the Owner from our first visit years ago. We've attended their Annual Charity event, had a private tour and celebrated a friends 50th Bday with a delicious catered dinner on a beautiful night with Amos near by and just yesterday (April 30th) brought another set of friends to introduce Judy and all her exotic Cats. Can you tell we LOVE Judy and Panther Ridge??
Judy is the most passionate, caring, dedicated and extremely educated in every aspect of Big exotic cats. Every question that was asked, she answered with amazing insight and could continue talking about other exotic animals all over the world, has amazing Colleagues and working on ways to enhance and care for these magnificent animals around the world.
Thank God we have Judy on this Earth to rescue and care for these cats. They live on 10 magnificent acres that is extremely clean, the cats are given the best quality of meats, veggies, fruits, vitamins and seafood, they are cleaned and very groomed. You can see for yourselves how much these cats love Judy... on your tour you'll get to see these babies up close while Judy enters their enclosed habitats and interacts with them. She brings them special treats so you can hear them purr and talk to her while she gives you the history of that specific cat. Panther Ridge is truly amazing, I always look forward to bringing friends for private tours because its truly amazing every time and you learn so much every time!!
You do have to make a appointment, which ensures you the most attention and one on one time with Judy, her Staff and all her Beautiful Cats. I love them all, Thank you Judy!
My partner and I visited Panther Ridge in March 2016, and were blown away by the place. We've visited alot of zoos and wildlife parks, and we've never seen animals this happy. Judy is a wonderful woman who has dedicated alot to the well-being of her animals and it shows. If you love big cats and are in the area, please pay them a visit and learn about these beautiful creatures and their home. It costs alot to run the center, and are constantly in need of donations, so if you can take the time to visit and help.
Great Place! The Location is amazing! The owner Judy is so nice this whole place is amazing! This is one of greatest places I have ever been. If you are a cat lover or an animal lover this is a great place for you. The animals there are so cute and pretty! A cheetah is my favortie animal and it was amazing and so exciting to see one in person. And I am so happy that other peolpe are trying to save these big cats and this is coming from a 7 year old girl. I think no animal should be extinct or endangered and I am glad that some people feel the same way.
Great place for animal lovers and conservationists of any age. The grounds are beautifully kept and landscaped. Providing the best animal care possible is the their number one priority. There are 17 exotic cats, you will have the opportunity to get to know each of them and their stories. You will learn a tremendous amount about the various species natural history and the problems they face in the wild. And in the process, you will fall in love with each and every one of them.
I have visited twice and will go back again. The facility is perfect for the cats. They have more toys than my cats (LOL). You can tell Judy and the people who work there love the animals and the cats seem happy.
All donations are well deserved. Keep up the good work.
I have been taking groups of friends to Panther Ridge for over a year. Each visit has been so special and interesting. These amazing cats are loved and cared for with the up most attention from the staff and Judy. It is so wonderful to see how these cats are love and love Judy (as she is mom to them). The surroundings are beautiful, well keep, always a wonderful day.
Thank you so much Judy for what you are doing and for sharing it with us.
I discovered this gem through a Meetup group and was so happy I RSVPed immediately. What an incredible facility, immaculate. All of the cats are cared for so well and have enrichment activities daily, very important to these animals' cognitive stimulation. I would highly recommend anyone visit the wonderful staff, Judy, and all of her amazing cats.

What a wonderful experience - they take such special care of these fabulous animals. Highly
Panther Ridge is a destination not to be missed in Palm beach County! Founder, Judy Berens, is very informative and she will give you an amazing education about her exotic cats! The facility boosts gorgeous grounds that show it is a true labor of love, as it is kept immaculate and all the animals are very well cared for! I encourage everyone to visit Panther Ridge and 'take a walk on the wild side' at this first class facility!
Great facility. Nice and clean and the cats are well cared for.
Panther Ridge Conservation Center and founder, Judy Berens, are held in high esteem in the Palm Beaches, as well as nationally and internationally for the excellent care provided for abused, neglected , unwanted and endangered big cats. The facilities are custom built and considered to be amongst the finest and most attractive in the world and once you have visited PRCC you will marvel at the cats in their native looking habitats,. Many of the exotic cats require life long medical attention and the veterinary care in this facility is first rate. Panther Ridge is a both an education & research conservation center and relies heavily on contributions. Visiting Panther Ridge to meet the world's most majestic big cats is a thrilling and rewarding experience !
I did an internship with Prcc in spring of 2015. It was the best experience I have ever had. The facility is impeccable. Husbandry standards for the animals go above and beyond. Judy has made true paradise happen in Wellington, Florida. There is not a better non-profit than Panther Ridge.
Panther ridge has spared no expense in providing the most comfortable surroundings for all of it's beautiful animals. It seems more like a luxury hotel for Big Cats. The cats are all beautiful and well cared for and it shows the second you walk into the facility. Judy cares for her animals like they are her children and I just love visiting. If you are into animals and want to support a place that truly takes care of there animals and doesn't abuse them simply for a profit this is the place to visit. If you are passing the west palm, wellington or palm beach county area you must stop by and give this place a visit you won't regret it. You can see Cheetahs, and Jaguars, Cougars, Clouded Leopards, Caracals, and Ocelots from just a few feet away and they are all so tame and come right up to Judy. If you are going to do a tour take the directors tour from Judy herself it's well worth the extra few bucks and you get a better interaction with the animals as they love her so much. Check this place out you wont regret it.
