This organization goes above and beyond to provide necessities for our troops overseas! I have been donating items to OTA for over 5 years to help bring smiles to soldiers' faces. When thank you notes and pictures from the soldiers are posted on OTA's Facebook page, it lets all of us know that what is being done is a great morale booster for them. OTA is a wonderful organization!
I have been donating to OTA for several years. They are a great organization with little overhead due to all of their volunteers. They work hard to get necessary items to our troops who are grateful for the support. They make sure that we see all the thank you notes from the troops. I would highly recommend this organization!
The support our team has been shown has been outstanding. We are so blessed to have so many wonderful people back home taking the time to provide us with much needed comforts. We have also been fortunate enough to share our wealth with other local units.
thank you for your support!!!
I have been donating money and goods to ota since my son came home from the marines after doing 2 tours in Iraq. I would send him and his guys boxes and boxes of stuff every month. he said they appreciated it so much. after he came home and told me so many of the guys didn't get packages from their family and the things I sent meant a lot to these men. in 2007, when he came home, I wanted to continue to send things they needed or wanted and someone told me about ota. I do what I can and know that all the money goes to fill the wishlists of our troops.
Wonderful organization with amazing volunteers to support our troops. The amount of time and thought that goes into each care package, and the little overhead they have shows they are 100% commintment they have to our troops.
OTA is a very humble, professional, and effective organization! Their mission statement is 100% true. It is all about our men and women who are deployed and give their selfless service and daily sacrifices for our freedom.
OTA reaches out to all people, including children, to create awareness. One of the biggest things I have read on the thank you notes is how the troops love to see the pictures the kids draw and all the cards that are signed. Their wish filled boxes contain these also.
I have been a volunteer since July 2013. Kristen Holloway, Monica Orluk, and Amanda Thompson are some of the best people you ever want to meet. All the volunteers I have met are very friendly, they are trained by Carol Hamilton. Carol is great at guiding us on how to make the public aware of what OTA is doing.
OTA not only reaches out to our deployed troops, but also reaches out to those who were in the military and families who have loved ones in the military. There is a guest book right in the front for all service men and women to sign. It is nice to see the public look through that guest book at all the signatures that are there. Veterans can also sign up to be informed of activities that are in their communities and be made aware of them. OTA has magazines and informational pamphlets for all the family members also.
OTA is very active in the communities as well with charitable events and promoting awareness. Most of the public is surprised and appreciates that when I tell them that we are all volunteers, no one on board is paid. That means that 98.5% of all monies donated goes right to support our troops with their wishes.
It is a joyful experience when you get to share time with a veteran from the past wars and they express their gratitude to what OTA is doing now. The feedback from the public that comes into the homestead in West Mifflin, PA is heartfelt. On the other side is the family members of our troops who come in and share their stories about how OTA has helped their loved one.
I have the pleasure of volunteering for this phenomenal organization as often as I can. I personally do not have a loved one serving in our military, but our troops are all of our loved ones.
I'm sure all would agree that OTA is definitely a Top Rated Non-Profit Charity.
I share with everyone I know the wondrousness of Operation Troop Appreciation.
I've been hearing more and more about the wonderful things that this organization does for our troops and after reading about their amazing help and support efforts, and how well it is organized and executed, I definately want to get involved in the future and raise awareness of this great nonprofit!
This Charity is outstanding. They asked detailed questions on what we would need to better accomplish our mission and also increase the morale within my formation. I can't say enough about these guys they sent us tons of stuff and we are incredibly grateful.
OTA is the best thing you can do for your unit to boost morale overseas. You can tell through the email that they take pride in what they do. I signed my unit up to receive MWR packages and in no time I received and email from OTA asking what do the guys here need. After getting back with OTA we received our boxes in no time. They went about and beyond to get us what we needed and if they didn't have access to it they found an alternative. OTA for your unit is a must.
The professionalism and compasssion exibited by Operation Troop Appreciation staff was impeccable. Words can't convey my appreciation for the organization and what they have provided for our deployed troops. What they have provided was more than physical items as they have provide my unit with increased morale, a grateful attitude and clear resolve of the love and support of our American Supporters. Thanks again for all that you do each and every day and please disseminate to the staff that they are making a tremendous impact on the Soldiers in the deployed environment.
I can't thank the OTA Organization enough. The itmes we recieved greatly boosted the morale and cohesion within my Section. OTA spent a lot of time tracking down and insuring they got the exact items we needed. OTA went out of their way not only to find the items, but also kept me informed of what was being shipped and when it was shipped. OTA followed through with every aspect from ordering items to delivery. They kept constant communication with me even after all my items had arrived. OTA is by far the best nonprofit organization out there for all military services that are deployed. I would and have recommended OTA to others. OTA made a huge impact with us over here, and are greatly appreciated by all my Soldiers. Thank you
The items that were donated to the Marines, Sailors, Airmen, and Soldiers that were deployed along with myself greatly benefited the morale of the unit. Being in such a isolated location, care packages and just any type of mail hardly ever came through and when these packages came through it was a great surprise. The are now located in the small building we call the MWR so the military members aboard our small camp can enjoy them. Thank you for all you do. It means a lot to those that are far from their families and do not have the everyday items we once had back in the states.
I would like to greatly thank, OTA. They are by far the most humble, and extraordinary organization that support those who are many miles from home. Keeping smiles on our faces and are bellies filled with a lit piece of home make the difference to the troops as we are out here defending and protecting our great nation. OTA is quick in response and is accurate to the wish lists sent to them. My team and i, Afghan Border Police (ABP) Advisor Team, couldn't be any more greatful and blessed to have them support us on this mission of ours. THANK YOU OTA for all your support. Many hugs, smiles and thanks to all of you.
I am a Special Forces Chaplain serving here in Afghanistan and the support that we've been given by OTA has been nothing short of amazing. I have Teams all over eastern Afghanistan and we travel often to visit them. OTA sent us thousands of high quality Under Armour boot socks and PT socks to hand out. As we traveled, it was a great way for us to take care of our guy's "Souls and Soles." The socks were a wonderful practical gift, but also opened doors for me to provide ministry. They are now working on a request we have to provide Keurig coffeemakers and Kcups to our sites. We have been encouraged, impressed, and blessed by their efforts and we are so grateful!
We are currently a Communication Unit deployed abroad. It has been our pleasure to support and defend our way of life. The Team greatly appreciates the time and effort your organization has put forth to send donations our way. You have touched many hearts and kept our motivation up with the K-Cup donations. Thank you all so much.
I submitted a wish list to Operation Troop Appreciation on behalf of my soldiers stationed in Afghanistan and our care package not only contained the items from the wish list but so much more to include snacks, cards, and several games. OTA went out of its way to take good care of the Soldiers. We appreciated everything that was sent in order to provide the Soldiers the opportunity to get their minds off the daily grind of the deployment and enjoy the contents of the care package. OTA were quick to respond to our request and any questions we had during the deployment was answered right away. This organization is truly amazing and our unit is thankful for OTA taking care of us.

What can I say, amazing Operation Troop Appreciation truly is a great organizations. My unit is currently deployed to Afghanistan and received a ton of great stuff that really lifted our spirits. I can’t put into words how appreciative we all are here and can’t wait to see what comes next. A great organization that delivers great stuff to the troops, I would give 6 stars if I could.
Not only does Operation Troop Appreciation send wonderful things to Soldiers that are deployed, but they also have helped my husband's unit with their redeployment and welcome home festivities. We cannot express enough appreciation for what OTA has done for us, ensuring every Soldier coming home was welcomed to their room with bedding, pillows and towels. All of the creature comforts they needed for a wonderful first night back in the USA.
Your gift was amazing ! You made a lot of Marines smile in Afghanistan! Your thoughtfulness and concern was very much appreciated ! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. It is people like you that make our job bearable. You really made a difference, made our day! THANK YOU.....
for my experiance and all my troops thanks a lot for all the care packages, it was great to see here faces get really happy when they got A care box. once again thanks for supporting the troops and god bless your organition.
I was deployed to Afghanistan and the care packages that Operation Troop Appreciation sent were such a morale booster! We were all really excited to get support from people back home. It really helped us get through the tough daily grind out there. Thanks again for all of the support! You guys uplifted the troops morale in ways i just can't put into words. Please keep up the good work, now that i am back i make sure to tell my guys that are deploying about y'all.
When your gift arrived the group deployed to Haiti were stunned. You should have seen their faces! The care packages were a welcome surprise! How can we ever thank you for thinking of us in such a personal and thoughtful way? We will never forget your very kind and meaningful gift.
We are currently deployed to Haiti serving as United Nation Peace Keepers. We have members from each branch of service in our team (Air Force, Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard). Thank you for caring so much. It is dedicated organizations like Operation Troop Appreciation that help us to make a difference and bring a smile to lots of faces.
Please continue to sponsor and donate to this organization, they are the true heroes.
We are currently deployed here at Azraq as an ADA battalion. 120 km away from Syrian border. the temperature is 108 degree. Everything that was provided by operation Troop Appreciated was needed and appreciated by every Soldiers here. One Soldiers said, "Freezer pops made my day." Thanks again for your support and prayers.
Everything that was provided by Operation Troop Appreciated was needed and appreciated (not to sound reduntant) by everyone here. One person said, "This is like Christmas." We truly appreciated everything - care packages we received was far more than we expected. Thank you again!!
I am currently deployed to middle east and I want to share my wonderful experience with Operation Troop Appreciation. When I left my family in May 2013 for deployment, I didn't except anything but misery for next nine months. My spouse and my babies (3 years old son and 1 year old daughter) moved to Phoenix, AZ from FT Campbell, KY on my birthday to be away from me. When I got to Afghan, I had to make adjustments to survive. Luckily, I was able to contact Operation Troop Appreciation online without any expectations. I wrote down the needs of my Soldiers such as Eye-Pro and brown t-shirts along with other necessities. Within few weeks, I started to receive multiple boxes including eye-pro glasses and Under Armour brown shirts. I also received cookies, books, DVDs, and personal hypiene products. Receiving tangible items were great yet the letters and post cards that came with the packages were even better. Everything that we do here in Afgahn is being appreciated by thousands of U.S. civilians and their support made me feel that I am doing the right thing by serving the country. Even though I am away from my love ones yet I have bigger mission and that is to serve as the Staff Sergeant in the United States Army. Hooah!!!
I am a soldier stationed in Afghanistan, in one of the most violent locations in the country. To know that groups like OTA are there to help us when we need items, food, or just a reminder of the love from home...it is nice to know they are there!
Operation Troop Appreciation is an outstanding organization. They provided much needed items to my squadron while deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan. Kristen Holloway answered all requests and questions submitted. We received so much support that we sent some of the items to our forward operating base. Thanks again to OTA and Ms Holloway
OTA is a great organization, they truly took care of my platoon and myself while we were serving in OEF, they provided us with everything we asked for and more I could not ask for a more supportive organization.
Operation Troop Appreciation is truly an amazing organization. Amanda & Kristen go above and beyond to help our men and woman of the military receive not only supplies, but cards and notes to help boost their morale; I think they have changed the lives of many soldiers over the years. OTA volunteers hearts and souls are poured into all that they do for these men and woman and without OTA, so many soldiers would not even have anything to look forward to from back home. I just wish there was so much more that can be done for all their sacrifices for fighting for our freedom. OTA is a small way of saying thank you!
Operation Troop Appeciation is a great organization. My intention for signing up our entire group was just get a few packages during our recent deployment. I have never seen so many packages sent in such a short time span. We received so many packages, we allocated space on our movement missions to push out packages to the remote areas. All the packages were awesome, filled with the perfect amount of everything and sometimes, stuff we didn't know we wanted until we opened the box. Seriously, thank you for making the deployment that much easier on all of us. We can't thank you enough. I wish I could give every one of your volunteers a hug. Please know that while many do not reply, your support does not go unapprecaited. Be safe and take care!!
When I first contacted Kristen she was more than helpful in getting what my Soldiers needed. And she was always responsive to my emails. And when we recieved the boxes we were very surprised at what was sent. All the items that were packed into them, there response was "WOW" they really were surprised. It was like Christmas and watching them was like watching a bunch of little kids with the biggest smile on their face. No exaggeration, they were really taken by it, and the letters that were in there by the kids as well was very nice. A big thank you to the sponsors, Operation Troop Appreciation, and Kristen Holloway. You really made my guys day out there.
Operation Troop Appreciation is one of the BEST organizations out there. Everyone is truly dedicated to making a difference in the lives of the soldiers by giving their time. No need is too big or too small. Operation Troop Appreciation finds a way to take care of every request with a great group of talented people.
Kristen Holloway has been an amazing to the Soldiers of COP Zerok. She sent us So much stuff and brighten the lives of all the Soldiers. The support we received was above and beyond amazing anything and everything we requested she provided for us. Thanks so much God bless you and thanks

Operation Troop Appreciation is a very valuable organization, that has significantly contributed to increasing the morale of my staff. When we received the package Operation Troop Appreciation sent, there were smiles on the faces of my staff that have had a lasting effect. To know that we are being thought of and supported while far from home is very important to us all and Operation Troop Appreciation does that. Thank you very much!
I never served, but I have two sons serving this great country, and know firsthand the love, dedication and commitment they and their military brothers and soldiers have for their country. I wish every American had the opportunity to see their humble power and God fearing strength. I came across Operation Troop Appreciation (OTA) by accident, and was impressed by the initial volunteer I spoke with. They did not ask for my money, only for me to write a caring comment to our troops. I listened to the volunteer tell OTA's story, their history, their mission and became more impressed. I wanted to help. I wanted to be a small part in something wonderful, something big. I wanted to be more than a military parent and wanted to be a boots-on-the-ground individual supporting those who cannot get or sparingly receive the simplest of items, e.g. soap, shampoo, underwear, hygiene items, decks of cards, snack items, etc., into the hands of our front line soldiers. We take our simplest items for granted, but they are luxuries to one who is deployed. I have little time to spare, but OTA was and is willing to take only the time I could give. I never feel pressured to give more, but find myself giving more than I thought because of the many rewards I feel, and because I know thousands of men and women are standing watch, are risking and giving their lives so I have my freedom, my comforts. I bought a small desk plaque years ago that reads, "American Soldiers Do Not Fight Because They Hate What Is In Front Of Them, But Because They Love What is Behind Them." If you know a soldier, you know that is a very true statement. Because of their love and dedication, I know I can never do enough, but volunteering for OTA, boxing packages to meet their needs, etc., gives me more joy than I can describe. I think of every soldier when I box the gifts of others, and know they will smile when they receive it. Their moments in time will be a little simpler. Thank you OTA for everything you do for our military, and thank you for what you do for me. God's Speed and Blessing's To Those Who Have and Are Serving This Great Country!

As a currently Deployed Soldier in Afghanistan, I was immediately impressed when I contacted OPERATION TROOP APPRECIATION in how easy their website was to navigate and submit my companies request for support. I received a custom email reply, not a copy and paste, which highlighted our requests and set our expectations for delivery times and items. Even better was when these massive boxes, full of name brand, very useful items arrived quickly. All the items we had asked for and much much more! Boosting my Soldiers morale can make a world of positive difference given the conditions in which we live and operate daily. The huge smiles and joy on thier faces were worth every bit of effort. SImple items like a new bar of soap, personal hygiene items, delicious snacks, and cleaning supplies were perfect and consumed immediately by the Soldiers! OPERATION TROOP APPRECIATION even went above and beyond and had the company UNDER ARMOR send us boxes of undergarments for our exercise wear! Amazed and astonished were my Soldiers when they saw these boxes...they couldn't believe it and were so excited!! Words truly cannot express the level of gratitude I have for OPERATION TROOP APPRECIATION. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart and the entire Company of the 511th MICO, 6-1 CAV - Afghanistan 2013.
The support that we received in Afghanistan, there are no words to cover. Appreciation and thanks cover some of the thoughts and words I have heard while handing out delivering and pushing care pacjages to our out lying COP's. Thank you and keep up the good work.
Special thanks to Ms. Kristen Holloway Querriera and the Operation Troop Appreciation Team. Shipping was incredibly fast and all items were accounted for. Communication was made very easy as well. Really appreciate all the hard work you guys put behind our order. Thank you again.
The story of Operation Troop Appreciation has gone past a review. Operation Troop Apprecation now has a history. A history of helping those men and women who have volunteered to serve the country in both hardship and peace. The caring that the organization has shown is second to none. The labor by the voulunteers are paid with knowing that our military is getting love and recognition back home. That we are truly providing support for those who need it. The love and compassion that the volunteers and those who donated to OTA are uplifting those soldiers, sailors, airmen's spirit can not be measured in any way.
Operation Troop Appreciation provides not only for the military, it provides an outlet for all who wish to help support those who are in harm's way. To show how much they care about them. It is a way so show appreciation for the freedoms that we have. To show the pride that we have as Americans.
Operation Troop Appreciation is a prime example of what the true spirit of caring about this country and the men and women who protect it from those who wish to hurt and divide us. Operation Troop Appreciation helps bind the fabric of what it means to be an American.
The story of Operation Troop Appreciation is quite simple. It is about Patriotic Americans who wanted to do more than just sit around and let others help. It is about getting involved in a cause that needs the support of the American people.
Operation Troop Appreciation has supported the fighting men and women of American since 2004. The organization has proven over the course of time that it will respond to those who need the support of the public.
The military can do and provide many great things to bring peace to those countries that have corrupt leaders in power. The military can bring law and order to nations without laws. Operation Troop Appreciation provides the military with caring and support that it needs to fight a better fight. Operation Troop Apprecation gives the military hope from the people. It provides that service to the military. The knowledge that no matter where in the world the military goes Operation Troop Appreciation stand by them.
I know about this caring first hand as I was one of the members of the Battalion that Operation Troop Appreciation first started to help. I am so proud to be part of the history of Operation Troop Appreciation. I look back proudly at the accomplishments that Operation Troop Appreciation has achieved and stare into the horizon as a new day is coming and our armed forces know that OTA is here to stay. We are going to make a difference to that soldier, marine, airmen and sailor one day at a time.
Til they all come home.
Review from Guidestar
I was first a recipient of the benefits of OTA work when deployed to Iraq in 2005. At the time I did not know about the organization or even that what I had received was from this organization. Once I returned home and took command of the National Guard unit that was co- located with the organizations humble storeroom and packing 'facility' I met the wonderful ladies that started this organization and continue to make it great today!
That started my relationship with OTA that eventually culminated in my being asked to accept a seat on the board. How could I refuse?
Here it is already 2013 and I have been fortunate enough to be acquainted with the wonderful people that make this organization run each and every day. Volunteers that take time out of their hectic lives because the feel a calling inside, deep in their hearts to reach out and just say thank you in some way to those who serve.
The wonderful people that are the life blood of this organization cannot be underscored. It is because of them that the other thousands of generous hearts have a vehicle to express their gratitude to all serving somewhere at some time in some small way when possible.
It has been an honor and privilege to be a small part of this great organization.
I was unaware of your program until my Soldiers informed me of your assistance to Soldiers while deployed. There are many days that my young Soldiers are stressed and don't want to talk to others of what may be going on at a given point in time. What I have learned is that video games for the new generation is a common ground and somehow relaxes and changes their attitude. I am grateful that someone like you has taken the time and money to donate to my Soldiers. Thank you again.
My company is currently deployed to Afghanistan in support of overseas contingency operations. We are a national guard aviation unit from the state of PA and consist of both normally part time and full time soliders. It was truly a great experience and the responded to our request right away I hope that this organization continues to do great things in the future and supports the troops!
Operation Troop Appreciation is phenomenal! As the primary point of contact for FOB Sharana, Afghanistan, I could feel the incredible pride, enthusiasm, and energy that permeated OTA in every correspondence I had with Kristen. OTA donated over 250 pairs of warm sox for Soldiers, numerous boxes of nutritious snacks, as well as several brand new study guides for Soldiers that are being used daily in our Education Center. OTA’s Herculean efforts have had a significant positive impact on Soldier morale here on FOB Sharana, as well as at our outlying/remote combat outposts. Thank you OTA!!
As a volunteer for Operation Troop Appreciation, I have the opportunity to see what happens behind the scenes and what I have found is an organization that has so many people dedicated to its cause. When I learned that all of the staff members are volunteers and 98 cents of every dollar goes directly to providing "wish list" items to the deployed troops, I knew that everyone involved was doing this because they really wanted "to build and sustain the morale of deployed troops, enabling them to complete their missions with the assurance that the American public supports and appreciates their selfless service and daily sacrifices" as our mission statement declares. From the letters that I have read and the personal accounts from family members who come to events and headquarters, I know what OTA does is truly making a difference. I have never been more honored to be a part of an organization.
As a soldier deployed in Afghanistan, myself and my team is extremely grateful to Operation Troop Appreciation. We are located in an area that is extremely limited on comforts. Thanks to this organization's support, it has made our time away from home and family a lot less painful. The organization was very easy to communicate with and even sent us specialized items! Thanks again to all members of Operation Troop Appreciation.
Operation Troop Appreciation generously donated dozens of study guide to the Education Centers in Afghanistan. The Service Members that are deployed here can now prepare to take college entry exams such as the ACT/SAT or higher lever exams such at the PRAXIS, GRE and GMAT. They also replaced our outdated study guides for the DSST exams which allow students to test for college credit, bringing them closer to degree completion. The students/Service Members are very grateful for this support!
I got involved with OTA through friends at my American Legion Post 760, to help with a packing party. It was very meaningful to me that in this small way I was reaching out to the other side of the world, to make someones day a little brighter. After the packing I was hooked, and knew I had to do more. I have yet to meet Kristen, although I'm well acquainted with Amanda, if everyone in the organization has the zeal of Amanda, it is a worthy cause. These men and women are giving up their family time for us in a strange land, the least we can do is offer a few hours for them.
Kristen is a friend of an in-law so we have not personally meet , yet. OTA is ran by an amazing staff who will go to the ends of the earth to support the troops. I was the POC for my route clearance company in Afghanistan and made some off the wall requests that normally are not fulfilled through other troop support organizations. Our accommodations were worse off than the normal FOB soldier takes for granted. After being blown up several times in the first couple months of being in country, we knew our bodies were going to take an awful beating. OTA scored us a ton of biofreeze packs and heating pads for an entire RCP. Much thanks extended back to OTA from this unit recently returned home from downrange.
We greatly appreciate the 2 boxes of snack, hygiene, and MWR items. The
entire detachment of 20 service members greatly received your contributions
and would like to extend a gratitude of thanks and honor to you and the OTS
staff for your support. But we do want to let you and your wonderful organization know that we all appreciate and love you do for the deployed troops. Thank you so much for the order of UA Shirts they have arrived today. I distributed them to all of my troops. Highest gratitude to you and your staff for the contribution of consumable products and Under Armor shirts. We here at 856th Quartermaster Support Detachment are forever grateful!
I am the Supply Officer for the 223rd Engineer Battalion. We were deployed to Afghanistan in 2011 - 2012. I requested care packages from Operation Troop Appreciation and within about 30 days I received 8 Extra Large boxes in the mail. They were filled with all sorts of items from toothbrushes to shampoo to crackers to soups to flip-flops to blankets. We divided the boxes up amongst our 8 companies and all the soldiers were extremely appreciative of the items. This organization really helped out with the morale of our units and I am more that grateful for the love and caring shown for our troops. God Bless them!!
Excellent Organization. After submitting a request on behalf of my platoon, I was quickly sent an email from Kristen asking how she could show support. She was extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. She provided my platoon with everything we had wished for and SO MUCH MORE. I could not believe the amount of time and effort that a "stranger" devoted to supporting the troops. Thank you for all that your organization does and please continue to boost deployed soldiers' morale!
My unit is currently stationed in Afghanistan and was blessed to be sponsored by Operation Troop Appreciation. We recieved four two very large boxes of healthy snacks, and personal hygeine items, along with socks and underwear. We also recieved from Under Armour two boxes of t-shirts, socks and underwear. The weather is starting to get pretty warm here and a lot of our soldiers simply can not afford to go and spend lots of money on quality stuff that under armour was able to supply. I did not tell my soldiers what was requested, however when I brought the boxes in, it was like watching a bunch of children on Christmas day. really grown men who serve our country were actually giddy over the things we received. I can not think this organization and those who support it enough.
Operation Troop Appreciation and Kristen Holloway were awesome. Not only did they send us exactly what we had requested, but had a very fast turn around time and were very prompt in email exchanges. OTA goes above and beyond in sending troops what they really want and need and it is a blessing to have an organization such as theirs catering to our troops.
Operation Troop Appreciation was amazing. I am currently deployed to Afghanistan and we received several care packages from this organization. It really is a great morale booster and lifts the spirits of everyone when a care package received. You guys and gals are awesome!!!!!!!!!!

V35/Darkhorse: OTA is an amazing and professional orginization that assisted my Battalion Aid Station during operations in the Middle East. They continually kept in constatnt contact with me to ensure our packages came through, and even when we did not recieve our T-shirts, they were kind enough to re-order. Our Corpsman were very grateful for the geedunk and attire that was provided to us. This was a definite moral enhancer midway through the deployment when its not easy getting small essentials that are for granted back in the states. We truly appreciate your teams work and your continued support for those of us that are forward deployed. You are truly what you say, "Committed to our Courages".
Truly amazing organization. Well organized and completely dedicated to serve deployed troops. There is no other like it!!!!!!!!
They have went above and beyond to support my company during this deployment. Being seperated from your friends and loved ones is a hard task on top of performing our mission here. Operation Troop Appreciation has made this deployment a lot better. Thank you Operation Troop Appreciation!
OTA provided amazing support to our platoon during our nine month deployment to AFG. The items OTA sent us greatly improved our morale and our quality of life at FOB Salerno. OTA even went so far as to put us in direct contact with a sponsor who provided numerous care packages of sauces and seasonings. Our unit eats every meal out of styrofoam "to go" plates and the food, while plentiful, is almost always short on flavor. The condiments that we received allowed us to build unit camaraderie during meal times instead of just choking down food.
Many thanks to OTA & Conroy Foods!
It was a great pleasure dealing with this organization. They send numerous gifts to my unit and it took good care of my Soldiers and their wellbeing. The gifts that they send ensure that the Soldiers had personal hygiene items and also care packages. My Soldiers are very thankful for all the support that they provided while we are deployed. Thanks.
Thank you for the support. we the troops always appreciate the effort of our American Family's help. We all need to come home safe so the best thing you can give us are prayers. The gifts we get we are very greatful for.
Dear Operation Troop Appreciation,
As the Battery First Sergeant and senior enlisted leader, and on behalf of my commander and the entire battery, we all sincerely appreciate the heart-felt words and the generosity of support for all that you’ve given our Troops. For this and more, we salute all of you for staying the course with us as we fight for our way of life and make the world a safer place. Thank you again for your support. We are deeply indebted to your acts of kindness. God bless all of you and God bless America. Over and out!

Being here in Afghanistan or deployed anywhere away from family and friends is a great challenge. I have been adament about reaching out to agencies from all over, ensuring that my soldiers have candies and toiletries so that they don't run out. Thus far, it has been successful.
I am pleased now more than ever to see my efforts come to plain sight. As the Brigade Better Opportunity for Single Soldiers (BOSS) Program president, it makes me more than happy to see how the comforts of home bring such great joy to their hearts.
Thank you all for the help, the care and the love your agency has shown throughout this deployment. Your contributions have been invaluable and very much aprecitiated!
On behalf of Delta Company 2/327IN 1BCT 101st ABN DIV God bless you and keep you all your days!

My battalion, currently deployed to Sinai, Egypt, wanted to do the Bataan Memorial Death March while deployed. We were in need of gatorade and food easily consumed during a march. Operation Troop Appreciation came through for us when no one else did. We got everything we needed for 120 Soldiers to participate in the march. Thanks so much OTA for the food, sports drink, foot powder, mole skin, and everything you sent that made our event a huge success.
