I wish I could guve them 10 stars! Most support non profits only send boxes of goodies, but this organization sent items we requested. Because of there amazing support and going way above and beyond, my unit deemed me the care package master because it wasn't the normal food items. They sent a bunch of cool gear we requested. OTA ROCKS!

Awesome organization to work with. Vets and deployed troops are so appreciative of what they receive. We are all volunteers. Such a rewarding experience!

I am truly honored to be a volunteer at Operation Troop Appreciation. All of the volunteers work as a true team. I love working with the Welcome Home Program to make our Veterans homes as great as our vets are to us.

Absolutely incredible support to deployed military members. While every care package/letter received is great, a lot of the guys don't have families back home helping them get through this. Operation Troop Appreciation meets specific needs identified by the military member. At some camps you can get just about everything needed, at others--many everyday items are in short supply or never available. OTA goes out of their way to hunt it down and get it to us. That kind of personalized support is something you'd normally only get from family. For many, it is the little things that go a long way toward making the time away from home bearable. Thank you and please keep up the great work--your Operation is definitely Appreciated by the Troops!

This review is in regards to my experience with Operation Troop Appreciation.
I am a First Sergeant for a large unit here in Afghanistan. I reached out to these great folks through the internet because I wanted to provide my unit goodies that can appreciate while deployed. They sent out great boxes of things to include Little Debbie Snack cakes, popcorn, candy, beef jerkey and other great items the folks enjoyed. They are a great company that included pics and cards as well. The guys/gals loved it and I sent them pics of them opening their boxes. What a great company, if I could give them 6 starts I would.
Thanks for your support of us Airman deployed in Afghanistan !
God Bless

Operation Troop Appreciation has served our unit, of over 350 personnel. The generous supports have mailed many care packages and letters of encouragement to all of us. We greatly appreciate all of the support they have given us. The kind gestures from all of their volunteers are greatly appreciated and we look forward to their continued support during the remainder of our time here.. From all of us serving overseas we thank you so very much.

I was deployed in a unit with 18 soldiers. Operation Troop Appreciation sent us Christmas care packages which had a hugely positive effect on the group.

We had a great experience. Some people don't consider South Korea a deployment but our brigade was the first brigade to go over as a rotational brigade. To the Soldiers of my battalion, it was a deployment. Everything Operation Troop Appreciation sent was well received and greatly appreciated. All of us are a long way from home but Operation Troop Appreciation made home seem a little bit closer. Thank you all!

We are in a SMALL area with very limited resources. BX is a tent so that should tell you something. We reached out to Operation Troop Appreciation and received and overwhelming response. Ms. Kristen Holloway Querriera responded to all of my emails, asked us what we needed/wanted and within a week we were receiving all kinds of support, from hygiene to morale items. On behalf of our Men and Women serving away from home I want to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH! It is SO GOOD to know that there are folks that support us.

Operation Troop Appreciation,

We are very grateful for such an impacting gesture this was! Having something that gives us a little ambiance of being back home definitely helps us get through the days and certainly a morale boost during our down time. All of the requested items from our "wish list" continues to be put to good use almost on a daily basis! If we could include pictures, you would most definitely see the gratitude from the expressions on our faces. It means a lot to have and see support such as yours because some days it can get rough and to know we have others looking out for us who we don't even know is a true blessing. Being considered a hero brings a big smile to our faces, as we are honored and humbled at the same time. This is a job for us, but one in which we hold very dear because we do it for those we help protect and the freedom we have as a country. God willing, we shall be safely on our way home in no time! Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts!

I am the Operations NCO for my unit and had requested some support to build the morale of my soldiers. Kristen was more than willing to assist my soldiers by giving them care packages. It truly motivated my soldiers to try harder even though the work load seemed to get worse. The care packages made them realize that people do care and do appreciate what we do day in day out. It definitely was a game changer for my unit's deployment.

This AWSESOME group sent the S-3 section of our organization an XBOX360 and some games. They also sent much needed hygiene supplies and tan Under Armor shirts. We enjoyed the gaming system as a break during our 12 hour 7 day a week deployment. We also made good use out of the supplements that were sent. A great organization for deployed soldiers.

The items sent by OTA provided Airmen with some much needed hygiene products that are hard to get at our location. Familiar snacks from home and especially the packs of gum were a huge hit! The coffee and, sugar and creamer are awesome!!!! THANKS OTA!

There has been a lot of organizations, and I can truly say that OTA is one of the best out there. I would love to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. When I received the items they sent us I mentioned that I had a female soldier with me and when I received the boxes it had stuff in there for both male and female soldiers. Any Organization that helps Soldiers in these hard time will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you so much for all you do.

I second that motion - OTA is certainly Pittsburgh's top rated Non profit. Our organization, Daughters of the American Revolution, are always looking for ways to help them in their efforts to help especially the homeless female veterans, but all veterans also. They are a place where veterans can ALWAYS turn to for help with nothing asked for in return. Their leaders have huge hearts for those in need and are tireless workers to serve our
military. God Bless the OTA AND ESPECIALLY THEIR LEADERS!

This is the only organization with which I have volunteered that passes almost every penny collected to the veterans. The group is totally volunteer-led and has very low administrative costs versus other organizations that pay hefty salaries to their leaders. Operation Troop Appreciation supports both deployed troops and returning veterans and their energy level and devotion to helping service men and women is truly impressive. I'm very proud to serve a small role in this group.

I have just begun serving at OTA and I am thrilled to be able to do something to help our troops. I learned about OTA from my friend who has been working for OTA from its inception. I am very impressed with all that I have learned so far. Everyone gives 100% for our troops. I would definitely give them a 5 star rating.
