We met Nature's Educators when they visited the Erie Community. Such a great, family-friendly program!
Great organization to work with! I've been a volunteer for several years now and it has been great to see this organization grow and touch so many lives.
Nature's Educators is a wonderful organization! It's full of so many knowledgeable and passionate people. I have been volunteering with Nature's Educators for almost a year now and I have learned so much and have had so many great experiences. I learn something new every time I volunteer. Nature's Educators caters to audiences large and small and have wonderful educational programs that do indeed get audiences excited to learn about raptors and wildlife. There's no program too small, too large, or too far away for this organization. They do everything from birthday parties to large auditorium talks, and go all over the state to try to reach as many audiences as possible! They provide excellent care for all of the animal ambassadors and provide top notch educational training to the volunteers for every animal. This organization rocks!!
Nature's Educators is just what the name implies and this nonprofit does a wonderful job of that! The animal ambassadors are great at teaching groups of all ages about the importance of protecting our wildlife. The birds and other animals in the care of Nature's Ed are treated with such special care. Each has its own health plan as well as specially designed inclosure to keep them safe and in the best health. The Director stays current on all aspects of proper care, guidelines, regulations and policies relating to the animals as well as the nonprofit regulations. This nonprofit is truly a professional group of people. Nature's Educators will continue to grow as people continue to support their important mission. Call and book a program today!
We love Nature's Educators and work with them multiple times each year. They are always professional, reliable, well-versed in their subject matter, take care of their animals, personable with kids, and altogether fascinating!
I have worked with Nature's Educators multiple times in the past, and will continue doing so in the future. The volunteers they have are excellent people with truly amazing information and an even better mission.
Nature's Educators has a wonderful outreach program! They come to our school every summer and give a presentation to our students (ages 2 - 7 years). They are always professional and prepared, and give captivating presentations with live creatures. They take the time to engage with each child and are always happy to answer every single question they can think of.
I started volunteering with Nature's Educators last fall and have loved every hour. Every time I attend an event with our raptor ambassadors or spend time cleaning their homes or feeding them I learn something new. Our director has a wealth of knowledge about wildlife that she shares willingly. Every question I ask is answered with new information for me. Other volunteers share their knowledge as well. Most important to me is that the well being of all our ambassadors is primary. They are loved and respected at all times. Nature's Educators is a magical organization.
Nature's Educators is an outstanding organization that loves birds of prey! It is a top notch assembly of a passionate leadership and keen volunteers that share a love for educational outreach. The standards in which volunteers are held are high and encourage continued learning. This knowledge, in turn, is relayed to the public. The programs are well suited to various age brackets and presented in an enthusiastic manner. I am proud to volunteer with Nature's Educators and endorse the organization 100%!
I am a classroom teacher and I love having Nature's Educators teach my first grade students not only about raptors, but also about respect for life and nature, and how important it is to treat animals in the wild as such. Each presentation given has been better than the last! She involves the students throughout her time with them with hands on activities and they talk about it for the remainder of the school year! Thank you Devin and Nature's Educators!
I have held a lifelong fascination for raptors and love being able to share the knowledge of these amazing animals with others. Nature's Educators is a welcoming, team-based organization which makes each volunteer feel valued and which makes every effort to reach the public with a positive face.
Natures educators helped me learn so much about their animals. They are all passionate and hardworking volunteers. Every time I volunteered there was a friendly face to help me out.
After graduating from college, I knew that I wanted to work with birds of prey but I wasn't sure how. I had no experience, and I was afraid I would be turned down right away without any training.
When I found Nature's Educators I could barely comprehend my good luck. On the very first try I'd picked an organization with extraordinary dedicated volunteers who strive every day to provide nothing but excellent care for our animals, and excel at teaching children and adults alike about the invaluble role predators play in our world. Moreover, I couldn't have asked for a more willing and helpful team to provide me with the tools I needed to succeed at helping preserve our wildlife and handle such incredible creatures.
Volunteering at Nature's Educators has truly changed my life and made me a better teacher and a better student than I could have ever expected. I'm eager to see our organization grow and to watch myself improve in the years to come as we do some of the most important work I've ever done.
I have volunteered at many non-profits over 25 years. I have learned more from Nature's Educators than any other organization I have been with. I love to see the faces of the kids and public when our ambassadors come out and they learn something new! I also like the fact that Nature's Educators have different programs including ones with reptiles and bugs.
I have been with Nature's Educators for 2 years and have greatly enjoyed the time here. In the past, I have volunteered with other raptor organizations and I find Nature's Educators to be the most exciting, drama free, and dynamic environment to date. The board is great and we always try to incorporate new and exciting ideas to propel the organization into the future. The best, I am sure is yet to come.
I work in wildlife rehab, I deal with sick and injured raptors on the daily basis, it is my job to try and help them survive, recover, and be released. That doesn't always happen, and often enough I am left with birds that survive but cannot be released. My job then becomes a search to find a home for each bird that will provide the BEST care and the BEST possible life.
Nature's Educators has now received three of my organizations birds. They are highly professional, care enormously about their ambassadors' well being and provide a fantastic educational service that outdoes any other that I have seen. I am not only comfortable sending my non-releasable birds to them, I am excited to get the chance to see them and what they are doing, even if they are over 1000 miles away from me and my organization.
Our youth are our future, we must teach them as much about our world as possible. Natures Educators teaches why we must protect our environment and its wildlife.
I have seen kids hang onto every word Devin said during a presentation, She knows just when and how to ask thought provoking questions that involve the young and older folks alike.
Devin is also a master at using each volunteers skills and strengths to the very best advantage of the organization.
Caring for these birds is a lot of hard work theres no vacation. Or days off it takes tons of time and effort to keep it all goibg NE is the best!!
Nature's Educators is an absolutely amazing organization and I'm so proud to be a board member. The team of over 30 volunteers works so hard (even while having full-time jobs) to make this organization successful and to give the best possible care to the raptors, reptiles, and insects which are the heart of the program. I have worked with a variety of non-profits and this group is so passionate, hard-working, and dedicated it's unbelievable. The programs are outstanding and can be taught to all ages. The animals are beautiful and are so well-cared for. Their enclosures are terrific! I personally can't wait until this group has a public facility someday.
