My husband was looking for a dog for me, as he thought it would help my anxiety issues. He came across Multiple Breed Rescue in December 2015 when he was searching for a Yorkie mix. He immediately contacted MBR, who had a Yorkie/Jack Russell Terrier Mix for adoption. Everyone involved was so kind and helpful and we ended up adopting Josie about a week later. Unfortunately, Josie has gone on to the Rainbow Bridge, but since then we have adopted 2 other rescues from MBR and they are both wonderful dogs. Multiple Breed Rescue has made such an impact on us that we volunteer our time as a family to help out with the dogs as needed and are hoping to foster one day soon as well. They really are with you for the life of your dog and they treat you like family. The owner, Amy, is always ready to help and has offered us great advice about our dogs. I highly recommend looking into their adoptable dogs if you are looking for a furry companion. This is a great rescue that truly loves these dogs.

Multiple breed rescue is a great organization. They help rescue dogs, foster them and then find them a forever home. They just don't get dogs from shelters. My story I had a Belgian Malinois name Maya that was living the life of a lazy dog and not the life of a working dog like she was meant to do. They took her for me and promised they would find her the right home and would not let her go to a home that wasn't qualified to take her. It took a few weeks but the right person came along and she is now in North Carolina with a police department training to be a Narcotics dog and living the life she was meant to live. Thank you MBR!

Our beloved jack Russell Sparks died in April 2016. We were so sad and heartbroken and 5 mos. later my arms ached for another sweet baby. I started looking at rescues when I came across Multiple Breed Rescue . I was unsure at first, but as I researched the group, Amy (Founder) and read more and more about each, I realized that this was where I would find my next fur baby. What this group does for animals is phenomenal. They are making a difference in not only the animals lives but in the lives of the people who choose to adopt them. I believe that my Lily rescued me. Even though I am sure she would beg to differ. So I'll concede, and just simply say that we rescued one another and that every day we continue to do so.

My husband and I rescued Milo in 2015 from MBR. After filling out the application we met with the gracious foster home and took him home the next day. We continue to utilize MBR through their dog boarding at the farm. Everyone is wonderful and supportive. I know Milo is is good hands when we are traveling.

Multiple Breed Rescue is one of the finest organizations I have ever seen. They take in the dogs who would otherwise be euthanized and give them a second chance and find them a furever home. I adopted Joe the Boxer a year ago and he was the perfect fit. This group of people are so very compassionate with their mission and love of the animals they save. I can't thank them enough for all that they do!

we adopted Tito(aka Andy) on Oct 27, 2014. We had recently lost our beloved JRT and were still heartbroken. We at first said NO MORE DOGS. Well that lasted about a month. I stumbled upon MBR. I discovered a group so dedicated to the placement of the rescue to the family. The paperwork we completed was extensive, my prior vet records were all checked, my personal reference was contacted. The original pup I applied for was determined not right for us. He needed little children- Well guess what we were paired up with the most loving sweetest needy little JRT. He was an instant family member. We were advised of some challenges that we may experience and how to deal with those little quirks. After all he is a RESCUE. I cannot tell you how professional Shannon, Sharon and Amy have handled our adoption. I tell everyone looking for a loving pet contact this organization.

We adopted our dear Dunkin last September. We went to an adoption event and could see how well cared for all of the dogs were and how conscientious and upfront Multiple Breed rescue was with all potential adopters. Dunkin has been such a blessing to us and makes all our days so much better. He is the sweetest and happiest dog and greets every day with a wagging tail and just to so happy to see everyone always.
We are so thankful he was rescued and saved. I can't imagine our lives without him. Thank you to all who do so much for those in need.

I am a long time volunteer and the passion and love that MBR has never falters.
It is great to see a rescue who sincerely cares about the placement of the animal in their care and not just the number of animals they have saved.
Anytime someone is looking for a dog or a cat I immediately tell them about this amazing organization.

We adopted a great dog from MBR. They really put the dogs needs first and are honest with the information they give. The adoption cost is well worth it as the dogs come fixed, microchipped, and healthy. We will be looking to MBR for our next dog and referring friends here as well.

MBR is by far the most caring non profit rescue I have had the pleasure of knowing. They will pull an animal in need without hesitation and then find one of their very loving volunteers to nurse them back to health and find them the very best furever home.
