As a volunteer for Molly's House, I feel I can share some first hand experiences about what a wonderful organization Molly's House is. This house is run basically all by volunteers with a couple of paid employees and the Director. I have seen many families, mostly very poor families who are unable to stay in a hotel while their family is in the hospital but they can stay at Mollys House. We also have had fire victims which have lost everything in a fire. We had one woman who not only lost her husband from illness but lost her house in a fire. It is so rewarding to know you have somehow helped people like this in some small way. These times make it very difficult to keep a place like Molly's open so I hope you will consider this letter for the contest. I could go on all day with many stories but most important is Molly's House is a wonderful place for many unfortunate people and they need $5000 to keep doing the wonderful job they are doing for this community. Thank you.

Molly's House is a charming hospitality house offering comfort to all guests in their time of need. It is truly a "home away from home" and welcomes individuals and families into its peaceful surroundings each day. I feel privileged to volunteer there and have met so many kind and caring people. Molly's story and her vision to have this house built
have been an inspiration to us all.

Molly's House is needed in every community. Without Molly's House some families would not be able to afford to stay by their ill family members in the hospital for care. It is a loving and beautiful home and an asset to our community.

Since moving to Stuart six years ago, I have read so many positive comments about Molly's House. they have created such a friendly welcoming home for guests who need lodging while their loved ones are in the hospital.

My neighbor stayed while her dad was on life support. She and her immediate family stayed - they couldn't say enough about the kindness and understanding shown them.

I have started volunteering and so pleased to be part of such a worth while organization.

The facility has the greatest rooms, a chapel, a library and many other amenities. The house is warm and has a homey feeling. All our guest know they a welcome and will receive any help we can provede to make their stay as comfortable as possible.

I've been involved with Molly's house for more than 8 yrs. It's a very comfortable home, large enough to house several families yet still has that small home feeling. It is perfectly located within walking distance to the downtown area of Stuart and Martin Memorial Hospital.....

I have worked in Healthcare in Martin County for almost 30 years and i can say we are truly blessed to have Mollys House to help our friends and neighbors during a most difficult time. Mollys House is a special home where families can come and stay while their loved ones are in the hospital receiving treatment or surgery.
I am touched by the strength of the families we serve and also by the generosity of donors to Mollys House.
The commitment of the volunteers and the executive director are amazing. This house was a dream for Molly Sharkey that became a reality.

Molly's House is a quaint, comfortable house providing a place to stay for families of loved ones who are in the hospital either short or long term. This three-story home is almost directly across the way from Martin Memorial's north hospital. Everyone associated with Molly's House is passionate about keeping Molly's dream alive as well as providing a place for families to be near one another during a difficult medical time. The story behind Molly's House is simply moving and the people involved who have donated their time and money can never be thanked enough for such a priceless project to have blossomed so beautifully.

This extremely worthy cause is filled with charm & grace and surrounds all of its residents with peace and kindness during a very difficult time. All the volunteers and employees are dedicated and informative and set the residents at ease on arrival.
In addition, they sponsor the local art community with monthly shows at Molly's Gallery, filling the public spaces with artwork (open to the public) for all to enjoy.
There are charity events all season long of every kind, and a website with a calendar to keep everyone updated-
A lovely place and important community organization

13 years ago I had a son born with severe birth defects. At that time he had to spend 6 weeks in the hospital and he underwent several surgeries and procedures. It was a terrible time of traveling and constant worry. The hospital where we were did not have an outside support system. It would have been a blessing to have had the warm, loving support system that is offered by Molly's House. 11 years ago we moved to Stuart and over the years I have watched Molly's House generously support families in tragic situations, giving people the comfort of home and easing many burdens while they wait for the recovery of loved ones. I know how grateful those must feel that have received the benefits of Molly's House. I know what it would have meant to me had it been available in the area we lived. Molly's House is a true blessing to our community.

Molly's House is truly a home-away-from -home for the families whose loved ones need medical care at Martin Memorial Hospital. This hospitality house exudes warmth and the caring staff and volunteers go above and beyond to assist all who stay with them. I've had the need to stay at other hospitality homes and, in comparison, the level of cleanliness as well as caring staff is tremendous at Molly's House. All this is offered for a nominal suggested donation which is why I opt to support them by donating funds whenever possible.

Molly's House was there for our family when a loved one was hospitalized at Martin Memorial Hospital. I had always thought that Molly's House was just for families of children with cancer but I was surprised to find out that the house is there for anyone in need. One of the nurses in the icu gave us their information and offered a room there as respite anytime anyone in the familiy needed to get away from the intensity of the icu for awhile. It was a life saver. They are the greatest!

The past 3 years have been enlightening and heartwarming as I have come to know the the people who nurtured Molly Sharkey's dream of a temporary home for families of people receiving medical care on Florida's Treasure Coast; many of the people who actively participated in the creation of Molly's House; the financial supporters; the volunteers who keep Molly's House open 24/7/365; the staff that constantly strives to find new ways to increase the value of Molly's House in the community; and most importantly, the many beneficiaries of the services provided.

There is nothing more meaningful than responding to someone in their hour of need. When a loved one requires hospitalization or another form of medical care, most people respond without thought for their own needs. Molly's House fills that void in a warm, sympathetic, supportive environment.

Thousands of people from all over the world will confirm unequivocally that the need is great and rarely considered. The world is a better place thanks to the vision of a terminally ill young lady and loving parents who honored her dream.
