I accidentally found Marley's Mutts Rescue on Facebook, and I had never really paid attention to rescues. But seeing what this group of ppl do day and day out, has changed my way of thinking, and made me want to go back to school to be a vet tech, and then go help a rescue. They go way above and beyond normal rescues. They not only help stray dogs, they help ppl in recovery, giving them a trade, they help children by having their dogs there to read to. They have started a prison program, and now some of these men have a trade to fall back on. And they have saved dogs from being eaten in eastern countries!
This rescue is always front and center, out in the community and reaching out internationally. They teach, train, rescue humans as well as dogs and always do it with smiles no matter how hard and heartbreaking it might be! They work with other rescues as well and have wonderful programs in place! They have my vote!
This rescue is amazing. In addition to rescuing dogs from deathrow in the US and overseas, many with special needs, they have so many wonderful programs helping both animals and people, ie Barks & Books - children & dogs, Miracle Mutts Outreach & Education/therapy, Spay & Neuter, Pawsitive Change Prison Inmate/Canine Training. The director and staff are very caring people who go above and beyond every day to help animals and people. I am very impressed by their efforts.
Marley's Mutts go the extra mile through their various programs, not only rescuing animals but helping and educating people. A fantastic organisation full of compassionate caring people. I wish them well in all their endeavours.
Marleys Mutts is an amazing organization dedicated to saving animal lives. So many lives saved this year alone, Zachariah and Amanda are always one step ahead when a dog needs help. I myself have adopted a mutt who is the sweetest dog I could have imagined. Thank you for bringing Bowie into my life.
This group is constantly seeking and helping!
My view of Pitties has absolutely changed because of their good work.
Thanks, Marley's Mutts!
I have been involved with Marleys Mutts for a few years now. I follow the stories of these dogs that have been mistreated in the most horrible situations and you think, how could they possibly recover? Zach Skow is the answer and his amazing staff, foster parents and of course his mutt militia (which I am very proud to be part of). Marleys Mutts takes in the dogs nobody else wants and rehabilitates them. These throw away dogs as some people call them :(. These dogs are carefully evaluated and then the real work begins. I truly believe that Zach is the true dog whisperer. If you watch his videos and how he interacts with these amazingly fragile and shut down dogs, you will then understand how important this organization is. They take it several steps further by having prisoners rehab and learn how to love not only themselves, but the dogs they bond with. Children who are afraid of reading out loud because someone made fun of them...they read to these beautiful dogs with all love and no pressure. They help train dogs for veterans who come home from war with ptsd. The dogs are used for so many wonderful programs. The women's shelter. It goes on and on and every week it seems they come up with another way to save dogs and dogs saving people. Just having a dog around you makes you smile. This is why I think programs like this should be across the USA . Look at the difference one organization can do. Imagine if they all used Zachs methods and ideas. Zachs story in itself is amazing. The will to survive just like his precious pooches. Every single person associated with Marleys Mutts should be proud of what they have accomplished. With lots of love care and patience and a dedication to these dogs is beyond words. If I could. I'd move to CA and join their team. Imagine going to work every day with all that LOVE surrounding you? I can't think of a better way to live your life. That is really living out loud ❤️
I don't have any direct experience with them as a rescue, but all you need to do is just follow them on Facebook to see all the AMAZING things that they do.
I donate throughout the year for animals/causes that touch my heart. Their posts make me laugh or cry on a daily basis. I have 3 dogs now that are getting up there in age.......my next dog will be a Marley's Mutt!!
An incredible man with an incredible heart and integrity. I will always hold this group in my heart for their help during one of my most difficult times!
Please do not donate to this "charity animal rescue". They pull highly adoptable puppies $$$ from shelter's leaving moms to die. These are despicable acts and this group is not worthy of the public's support.

Horrible so called rescue. The precious girl pictured is Cookie, her & her puppies were at a kill shelter in Kern County. Marley's Mutts pulled her 8 puppies & FIVE other ADULT DOGS & left her behind to DIE! He could have taken four adults AND Cookie but chose to leave her there! And if that wasn't bad enough, Zach Skow, founder of this "rescue" made a public video claiming that Cookie was a "reactive" dog & that's why he left her behind, that statement was a bold faced LIE! The shelter said she ACED her safer, she was very loving & friendly with people & she was very good with other dogs! His statement could have given her a death sentence! Luckily a NY rescue stepped up & pulled this angel to safety. The golden rule of rescue is, you NEVER, EVER leave the Momma dog behind! Totally disgusted with this so called "rescue"...
I know this organization and it's a wonderful nonprofit to donate to. The amount of work they do is inspiring. They're at it 24/7. The dedicated volunteers work tirelessly to save so many lives. They're lovingly referred to as the Mutt Militia and I can tell you first hand these angels put their blood, sweat, and tears into each and every dog they save.
I have read about Marley's Mutts Dog Rescue! I have watched the videos posted...I have seen animals given a second chance and receiving LOVE! I absolutely thinks this rescue is one of the gifts from Heaven that we need in this world today! So THANK YOU for allowing us to be a part of the Care...the Love...the Passion you do!
We currently have three dogs, and we love them to pieces. One of our babies is a Marley's Mutt, and we are so thankful that he was given the care and love that he got when he needed it most. We continue to support Marley;s Mutts, and suggest to anyone who wants a dog to rescue them from a shelter, specifically Marley's Mutts. Keep doing what you are doing, and we love you!
Release your financials. Heard that the head guy is pocketing money and using it for travel...not for the animals. IRS needs to check them out

I had a beautiful fur baby named Marley; she was my best friend and my little girl; unfortunately a woman that was late to work, ran her over with her SUB; she didn't even stop. I had to pick up Marley from the pavement.
this happened on 3/28/2015. I rushed Marley to a veterinarian, but she died in my arms on the way there.
I have been devastated ever since. Just the other day, I saw some of the work that Marley's Mutts has done on facebook, and I was delighted; not only do they help american homeless dogs, but they are also helping Korean dogs that are victims of the cruel, infamous dog and cat meat trade. I'm very aware of the suffering and anguish those poor animals endure, and I try to also do my part, as a member of the Humane society International and Soy dog International; however, Marley's Mutts is Special to me. I feel that Marley (my little girl ), is also helping these poor souls find loving owners and forever homes. Every time I hear the name " "Marley's Mutts"; I remember her abundant, warm kisses, and I feel her presence. RIP my little girl Marley....I shall never forget you
Incredible organization the volunteers are amazing, the group goes over and above to rescue as many animals as possible and find them loving homes. The founder Zack is a saint and such an inspiration!
They seem to provide a very valuable community service. Love the pics of how dogs that were injured, unwanted and damaged are cared for and restored.
The group is picky about which dogs they take and where they source them. This leaves out needier dogs who may not be as cute, have a much personality, lack a heartwarming and compelling back story, etc and I think that this organization needs to step up to the plate for truly unwanted dogs, also, that they do not consider now, but are potentially adoptable dogs too.
I do not having any direct contact with the organization; my main contact with them is thru Amazon with the list of doggy items that they post as needed. I do follow the organization in Facebook and check for available adoptions for a new 4 legged family member to be a "brother" to our 1.5 yo Malinois, dearly loved and very much part of our family.
I am happy to donate through Amazon when able but struck by the fact that although Josh lauds the volunteers who foster the critters and lauds the hands on volunteers and staff at Marley's Mutts and community businesses that support the Mutts, he never once has posted, that I have seen, a "thank you" to the anonymous folks who provide equipment contributions through our Amazon accounts.
In the scheme of running a non profit rescue organization, thanking everyone may be small potatoes; for the dogs they do rescue, they do a magnificent job restoring them to best health possible and preparing them for forever homes, as they tell it on Facebook and their website.
I think this organization is a young one, worthy of consideration for support and still maturing; as long as they hold the dogs as central focus and not material gain (e.g., develop into a non-profit that puts 85-90% of donations directly toward dog services), Marley's Mutts will do great things for unwanted dogs to help them find forever homes, and be a very respected member, nationally, when non-profit organizations are ranked for donations/services percentages.
Marleys Mutt Dog Rescue is a wonderful organization ! Saving the lives of many babies, I know they are dogs I call them babies. No matter if they are sick or badly injured by the monsters who abuse animals or they are abandoned. They take in all these precious babies and care for them for whatever they need. And luckily they can find a loving forever home and family for them. These are very special people , thank you all, love all of you and all the precious babies. God bless you all..
This is an organization that has such great, dedicated people working hard to save furbabies because of their love for them! They go "over and beyond" the call of duty to care for those furbabies that have found themselves in shelters for many various reasons. I am so proud to say that I support Marley's Mutts Dog Rescue! Keep up your awesome work as there is always be furbabies in need!!!
Marleys Mutts are unbelievable in what they do, they rescue dogs and give them a second chance, which they would not get any where else.
Zach and his team work tirelessly to get these dogs to get well and be able to find loving homes. Splinter is a good example and there are many others.
To have Marleys Mutts is blessing and I can't say how much I admire their compassion and there work, God bless them all.
