I recently volunteered some time at the Anixter Center. ALL of the people there were so great and there was such a great vibe to the place. Smiles were everywhere and it was truly a great day and a day I won't soon forget. Really impressed and inspired by the time I spent there!

Rating: 5

I am writing on behalf of my son, a client served at Anixter Center.
My son is a resident in an Anixter Center group home. He has benefited greatly. He has become so much more independent; learning many skills and developing a wonderful self confidence. The direct care staff and the house Mom are incredible. The Management team is equally excellent.
Anixter has created a model for the state. Kolmar House represents best practice in every sense of the word.
When I take my son out and bring him back to his home, he is all smiles. He is completely comfortable and happy in his home.
Anixter Center does amazing work!

Anixter Center is a wonderful place to volunteer and work. Staff is friendly and helpful. They have an extensive list of programs and services they have to help individuals with disabilities. It was great to interact with some of the clients who were eager to learn new computer skills, participate in events and every time they saw me with a camera they'd laugh and smile, as I was able to photograph some events.
