I am so happy that Kibblez of Love is here to help these fur babies stay in their homes! It's unfortunate when a family falls on hard times but no one, including the pet should have to go hungry or be given up because they cant afford the food or just help with some vetting costs. I have personally seen the difference that Kibblez makes in the community! I donate what i can and when i can but I always wish it was more because the more we the community help, the more pets that can stay in their homes happy and safe! I know a lot of these people in the program would give up their last meal for their pets, but they shouldn't have to! Kibbez of Love is such an amazing organization that is very much needed in our community and I hope more people see that!
I learned about Kibblez while waiting in line at a Food Bank (for humans!) at a church in Lake Worth. The guy behind me talking to his Mom said "Mom, and we'll go tomorrow to Peggy Adams/ Kibblez for dog food." I had to ask them what was " Kibblez at Peggy Adams?"
Could not believe there was also a food bank for pets!! Since then , I have been served with cat food for my 3 little companions!! I am a disabled American, and can only work 15 hours/week...Doesn't pay for much...Kibblez have helped my cats and her human too. The volunteers there all have been very kind and caring..!
Thanks so very much to Ms. Angelina Wilson and her organization!! Gaby...Lantana, Florida.
In 2012 I was waiting for my Social Security Disability Insurance appeal. I was not just "broke" or even "flat broke." I had no money at all, no money for rent, no money for utilities no money for food, and no money for pet expenses. Luckily I did have SNAP but that was barely able to buy food for half a month for one person let along food for one person and three pets.
Thankfully, the good folks at Kibblez of Love were able to provide not just food for my three pets, but also occasionally Cat Litter as well.
Even now, two years later, having won my SSDI appeal, I still receive some assistance from Kibblez of Love to help my ability to afford food for all three of my pets.
I do not believe in abandoning animals. I would rather starve than abandon an animal that I had accepted responsibility for.
Let me tell you a bit about each of my pets.
Hobbes, a cat, is currently 18 years old. I have had her since she was a kitten, and a birthday present from friends. She has been with me through every emotion, every move I have made. She is a one person cat, and also has a bit of Hyperesthesia meaning she becomes over stimulated, over excited when touched. She rarely lets anyone other than me pet her and when she does it is just one stroke before she reacts to them. Due to her age, chances are she will be passed over for younger more friendly cats and kittens. She would spend the rest of her life at a rescue or Humane Shelter. I do not want that for her. I promise all my animals that I will never abandon them.
Spike, a cat, I adopted him in 2009. He was already 20 years old, but at the time I thought I would be able to handle the expense of a second cat and never did I think I would be so out of work and without financial support to keep him. I promised him I would give him a home for as long as he needed one. He had already spent half a year in a Humane Shelter where I volunteered, and had stress licked the fur off his front two legs. He is soft and cuddly and friendly, but again, due to his age, there are even senior cats far younger then he is up for adoption.
Max my dog, I adopted in 2010. While the other dogs at the shelter were barking and jumping for attention, he was laying in the middle of his kennel and did not even notice when I stood in front of his cage. He was a very nice dog, walked on a leash as if born to it, someone had put a lot of training into walking both on leash and off leash, and not jumping up on anyone. He was only 4 years old. I felt his timid nature would prevent him from being considered. I took him home because he was so very good around cats, even though he did not previously live with them. He is now 8 years old, and is considered to now be in the senior category as well.
I still receive help from Kibblez of Love, I think they recognize that I only ask for assistance when I am unable to continue myself, and I do try to buy as much of the pet food as I can myself, but it is nice that Kibblez of Love means that instead of only receiving dry kibble and only dry kibble, they can now get a can of canned food several times a week, and the occasional "good boy/girl" treat.
Thank you Angelina and everyone who assists Kibblez of Love to make it possible for me to keep my pets.
I found out about these people at the animal shelter where I was about to give up my dog of 5 years. I lost my job and thought there was no other option. When I called the phone number I was told they were closed and I had just spent my last dollar on a can of food. I told the lady this and she came to my house with a bag of food! I did't know there were people in the world like this. They saved my heart and my dogs life!
I am a disabled vet and without their help I can not afford to properly nourish my service dog. Having them allows me to afford vet care for my dog. Wonderful people with hearts of gold!
If it was not for these guys my cat would have to be put down. He has a digestion problem and can only eat a certain food brand. I can not afford it but thanks to their help now my cat eats his needed food. They are also going to help with his Arthritis chews. Words can not describe the tremendous admiration I have for all they do for us and everyone else. Please donate to them without any hesitation because they are truly sincere and caring.
I was responsible for sorting through the donated pet food. Kibblez of Love wouldn't be able to continue helping the animals and their owners stay together without the donations from individuals and store companies replenishing the stock of food. KoL do it because they don't want animals to starve or for owners surrendering their pets to shelters because they can't afford to feed them.
They are inspiring! Being able to see what they do for dogs has made me help too. Thanks Kibblez!
Just got back from the Bobby Resciniti Healing Hearts Charity walk and WOW...Kibbles was out there REPRESENTING!!! Had all the dogs out for a walk with a great cause and Scott was pounding the turf getting the message out and getting the job done. Cant imagine the hours of hard work to get ready for that event that must have had over a thousand people at it. You can see it in Scotts eyes when he talks about Kibbles and the message that he passes out is so positive and infectious. 10 outta 10. Check these guys out and help the pets and pet owners out there.
Scott and Angelina have been great in their assistance to pet owners with food and medical assistance. I see everyday all the people they help and the financial burdens they lift assisting people in these cash strapped times. All the volunteers are great, giving people and you can tell everyone in the organization has the same passionate approach and standards. Besides myself i know 3 other families that are able to keep their heads above water in these troubled times and still take great care of their pets. Bravo.
This is a great organization. With so many people having a difficult providing for there family's, to often the family pets are the ones to go without food. Kibbles of Love is the perfect answer. By reaching out to the community for donations of pet food they are able to help keep pets with other family's. Until I came in contact with them at a fund raiser I had no idea of the huge demand. The unfortunate thing is there is never enough.
As a single father with among other mouths to feed, a special needs cat, I have to say Scott and Angelina have been a life saver. My meager salary doesn't begin to cover the expenses I have, and Kibbles has been there whenever I needed them. First heard about them at my local Publix in W Boca. From food to medical advice and guidance, Kibbles has saved me countless sleepless nights. Their volunteers are all top notch and extremely caring, and Scott.. WOW ..above and beyond. I knew Kibbles was different when he text-ed me asking about my cats recent medical emergency,(which he helped me solve). They are tireless pursuers for people and pets in need. Great team..great Leadership...AWESOME cause.
"Great Non-Profit?" I don't think so. Kibblez of Love is an AMAZING Non-Profit organization. Scott and Angelina, along with so many volunteers, have not only kept animals fed, but have done their best to ensure families are not separated from their furry loved ones. Kibblez of Love has every ounce of my respect and gratitude for all they do. I implore all that read this to donate food or even just a few hours of your day to help them help so many others.
I have never met people so passionate about helping animals like the people of Kibblez of Love. They go above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of those in need. I for one am very thankful Kibblez of Love exist!! I beg all that read this to donate pet food or supplies so these great people can continue to help so many!
i was very broke, had four dogs and had just found another one... kibblez of love brought dogfood to my door. i don't know what i would've done without them!
HI, I'm Robbie from the Sabbath Dog Rescue and we have more than 90 dogs at our facility, and over the last year or 2 its been difficult. Thanks to Angelina at Kibblez of love and their generous donations periodically through our tough times we've been able to keep our dogs fed. We hope she and her group continue their good work for all the animals.
Kibbles of love has been a great experience to our family we are so bless with the way they have been taking care of us.
I met this charity in 2011 through the rescue that I already volunteer at. I had never heard of a food bank before but thought this was a beautiful idea. I got involved and referred someone I know who was desperate to feed his pets, but was out of work and on social security. Kibblez of Love helped and I was so relieved for the pets. I also introduced them to the marketing manager of a motorcycle dealership that is very supportive of charities and takes a keen liking to animal charities. They are by far one of the most genuine, generous and giving animal non profits I have ever known. If I had more time or had not already made my pledge to volunteer for the rescue I do, I would be with Kibblez of Love. If I can donate my time to them I will, and I will always help when I can and refer them out to whomever needs them.
I have know the team at KOL for about a year now and they have amazed me how far they have come in one year. I think their entire team is dedicated to being the premiere pet food bank in the area, and helping Palm Beach County residents and their pets survive through a tough times. What a valuable service they provide and it is done with love and compassion. I would love to see them expand and grow and I wish them lot of luck and success.
I have been a volunteer with Kibblez of Love for about 6 months now - and it is a great organization offering pet food and other services to people that are ready to SURRENDER their pets due to the economy. They are always networking for food donations and will travel far and wide to get to a person in need so their animals will be fed and cared for, They also offer spay and neuter services for people to make sure their pets are safe and healthy and not multiplying. Angelina and her husband Scott have huge hearts and along with their full time jobs their hearts and souls are with their organization called Kibblez of Love. Kim Todd
Angelina from Kibblezoflove.org was extremely helpful with providing special dog food for our pet when my husband was in between jobs, I greatly appreciate her assistance with helping us getting our dog and cat spayed and neutered too. I think it is a fantastic organization and I would recommend it to anyone!
This charity is so needed. The Director is an amazing and giving person. By donating to this charity you enable them to collect and distribute pet food for those in need.
Kibblez of love was founded with a strong passion and love for all animals! Given that we started small in the hope that we could save a handful of animals from going to the already overcrowded shelters and grew to be able to help over 350 animals and families a month in just under a year is absolutely amazing. The support from the community has given us the opportunity to help even more animals! The families that we help are overcome with gratitude because without us they would have to give their beloved family pets to a shelter. The feeling that we are saving lives is the greatest feeling in the world! To be a part of this amazing organization means everything to me!
