A group that truly seeks to be good stewards of what is given them but still walking in faith in obeying Jesus to the ends of the earth.

You want to see a Servant's heart? You want to see a life laid down for others? Look no further than Iris. I would be comfortable with any amount of money donated to this ministry because I know it will be well used and stretched as far as possible.

I visited Iris Ministries in 2007 and it was the most amazing experience. They are very caring, honest, lovers of Jesus and practically show their love for Him in loving the poor in Mozambique, Africa and in many nations around the world. Heidi and Rolland have laid down their lives so that others can have a better life and know the love of Jesus. They also speak all around the world to encourage those in more privileged places and to raise support for the poor. This is a ministry that actually walks the walk of following Jesus and would highly recommend this ministry.

I know of this ministry through my old church and I can say the love Heidi exudes and the anointing in her has to be a blessing for these children to be around. She loves all her children there and has a great heart in wanting these children to grow up happy, healthy and knowing their God. Her teaching at the church was ful of the presence of God and I really see the love she pours forth into the lives of others.

What an encouraging ministry!!! The miracles alone are proof positive God is alive and still in on the loving people business.

I have followed Iris ministries since the "marriage" to Bethel. I have been a witness to the love and dedication toward nations of people who needed to know Jesus.

This amazing ministry is relentless in its compassion for children, particularly those abandoned by the system. Heidi and Rolland and those who work with them are transforming a whole country in Mozambique as they care for the poor both in the cities and in the bush. They are now active in countries all over the world. I don’t know of any organization that I would recommend more highly as worthy of support! They love relentlessly with the love of the Father!

They help thousands of orphans in Mozambique every year and Heidi's testimony and speaking has fundamentally changed my life and the focus of my life. As soon as I am out of school I want to work with them in some facet.

This ministry is amazing; thousands and thousands of children in Mozambique Africa have clothes, food, education, medicine and a shelter because of this ministry. Hundreds of troubled youth have had their lives transformed and now are becoming educated, productive in the society, some of them have gone into bible schools to become ministers so they can help change the lives of others just as their lives were changed! And the stories don't end I live in America but the stories of this ministry and how it has changed countless lives never cease to intrigue me and cause me to have a more open heart to help orphans, give money to charities-this ministry in particular and feeling satisfied knowing the money will absolutely go to help a child or more who are destitute of food, clothing, love, etc. I live Iris! They are amazing!!!

Wow!! There are no words... This ministry is the substance of raw LOVE- the hands and feet of Jesus. Sons and daughters that know what it means to receive and give love well. They love the One Jesus and love the one others in front of them. I have been changed by every word and example of: crazy love and joy!

This ministry portrays the heart of God with integrity serving the poor and the most broken of people. This ministry has given their lives for this cause leading by example, never asking for money. This ministry is an inspiration to me and many other people. The love, the faith is evident to all who watch from near and from afar. They are a voice in this world as to who Jesus is, a lover of the brokenhearted and close to them. The passion is the center of this ministry, passion for Jesus and all he is and all he is trying to convey on this earth. I give God all glory for what he is doing in and through this ministry. I have been personally impacted by Rolland and Heidi Baker and Iris Global Ministries by seeing the way they minister to the poor and are just real people that are so full of God's love. I wish I could love like they did.

I was a student with Iris Global in Mozambique. My time there was truly life-changing. It is unlike any other non-profit organization I have ever been involved with. Truly amazing people and amazing ministry.

Heidi Baker and her husband are the most selfless missionaries I know. The manifest presence of God resides with them wherever they go. Their love for he people in Mozambique shines thru them and their hearts are hearts after God's own heart. They truly represent the most caring, anointed word-wide ministers I have been privileged to sit under when they come to California.

I had a chance to spend three weeks there this summer. It was incredible. What a great group of people! Un like other ministries they understand that you are there to help them, so they actually encourage you to hear from God and go after whatever he has for you there including own personal quiet time, or volunteering in the schedule, or going to classes. It was really freeing. I would highly suggest volunteering with them if you travel to any country they are in.

Iris Ministries touches people all over Mozambique, Africa, and throughout the world. Heidi Baker is one of the most humble people I have ever met! She takes sharing the love of Jesus very seriously by tangibly touching people and most especially children. I am a long term missionary serving with Iris Global. I am director of the base in Mocimboa Da Praia, Northern North of Mozambique. We are a family! And I love my Iris family so much! Really impacted by Iris and they way they are transforming the lives of children! Most people call children with out parents orphans and house them in orphanages, but Iris calls them sons and daughters and places the children in families! Love what they are doing!

Iris Global is by far one of the most incredible non-profit organizations I know of. I've personally had the opportunity to go to Mozambique on a trip with some leaders, and witnessed the Jesus' love in action. I've gotten to hold AIDS babies in my hands, and love on them, knowing that their own families had forsaken them. I got to watch teachers instruct children in Mathematics and give them life skills for how to work and generate wealth. I've watched broken kids find hope, poor children find out their rich identity, and hurting orphans find a family.

Iris Global goes into the world and acts like Jesus did. They save, heal, and deliver people in some of the most impoverished areas of our world. And, the integrity represented by their team is exemplary, in my experience. I don't know how to express my appreciation and support strongly enough. May God grant them increase...for the sake of the world.

One of the most amazing Non-profit organization I have ever volunteered for! I was so honored to serve along side of a family of people who genuinely love. I did not only see lives changing around me but it also changed my life completely. I don't think I will ever be the same and I know that not only did we help people but we made life long friendships. You can do long term volunteer work or short term work. Which ever you do I know you wont ever be the same. The reason being is you discover truly who you are in your identity as a daughter of God and you learn what love looks like in your life and also for others.

We have sponsored 2 IRIS children at zero overheads and I can't think of a better holistic environment for these children then IRIS. Heidi still blows me away. As a 16 year old she materialised fuel and turned around tornados in Jesus name. Why do I trust her ? Extremely humble, no desire for fame or riches, no vested interests except faith in God and she tells heaps of tragic stories together with the miracle stories. She has drunk the cup of suffering and joy and found her peace and joy and anchor in God all the time and no matter what. Holy jealousy !

By far the BEST nonprofit I have ever been involved with!! Iris flows with the Holy Spirit and truly moves in love! They care for their volunteers like family members, not just as disposable numbers. Being part of Iris is like being part of family! Iris touches lives everywhere, being true vessels of the love of Jesus! They have a great balance of believing in the miraculous and being super practical.

Iris Global is an incredible organization! It was amazing to see this organization in action. They have so many great opportunities for volunteers to come along side and help the long term workers. One of our highlights was being able to meet with a little girl who is now in the preschool program at Iris. Friends from Canada had visited Iris 5 years earlier and met this little girl in the "baby house". It was amazing to bring her some baby photos and see that she had grown into such a beautiful and sweet girl! She is well loved my her many friends, preschool teachers and the "mama's" who love and care for her everyday.
It would be a privilege to be able to return to Iris again.

Iris is an organization that desires to save the world, one precious person at a time. They train up people with wisdom, but most importantly by example to function in the way that every person in the world was created to function, in a family that celebrates, empowers and loves you. They desire that each person fulfil the greatest purpose every human being desires to live for, truth, love, freedom, faith and joy, value and worth. All men desire unfailing love and there is but one way to find this love, and that is through Jesus Christ. There is a difference between knowing about someone and knowing someone. The people of Iris know Jesus intimately and profoundly and their desire is to introduce other to Him so that they can make a powerful choice to live in love, truth and freedom. Not only this, they want to empower people to live as best as they can, and then go out and teach others to do the same. They live out what they stand for, and statistics show that through the people of Iris, the world is actually becoming a better place. Check out the poverty decrease of both Spirit and finances in Pemba, Mozambique. The economy has actually improved as Iris offers jobs to widows, and opportunities for girls in prostitution to make an honest living that not only provides them with money, but also dignity and worth. It's Christ in us, the hope of glory.

Iris Global is an amazing organization that has and is impacting nations. Iris not just another non-profit that comes and goes, because it's not run by money, but by passion and love for people. It's an incredible honor to be part of a family like this!

Iris Global was once Iris Ministires that captured my heart back in 2006. Their love for the poor and the destitute so challenged my comfort zone that I had to travel to Africa to visit first hand. The work has grown exponentially because of the great capacity of those involved to love and dream beyond!!! Since then we have actively sought to share their good news story everywhere we go. Iris Global shows that by 'stopping for the one'' and showing love, the world can be impacted globally.

This non-profit really is doing a great work in the world. Having interacted with their staff and seeing some of the effects of their work, I am blown away by this ministry. They have raised the bar on how to love the nations!

I cannot express how much of a life changing impact that Iris Global has has on my life! I went in without knowing what I was getting myself into really. Pemba, Mozambique simply awed me. The way Iris has impacted that community by going low and slow and humbling themselves to learn from the culture there and establish the culture of Heaven. When I was first introduced to this ministry organization in 2007 I was blown away by the way it by far surpassed my expectations of how much one ministry could help, change and touch lives. My life is forever better by the way this ministry has guided me into understanding what it truly means to sacrifice and give so that others can experience what I enjoy daily. It was my absolute pleasure to live with an international and national staff at Iris Ministries on the Pemba, Mozambique base for just over three years. It was the most exhilarating experience to fall in love with the Makua people, especially the children. They certainly changed my life forever. I know there are bases all over the planet, so if you are looking for a life-changing experience (I mean a real change YOUR life experience, not an "i'm-gonna-change-the-world-in-a-minute" experience), I would highly recommend a short-term visit.

I share an office space with Iris Global, and I am incredibly impressed with their excellence in service to so many people across the globe. Mozambique Mission Summary

In August 2008 the Lord blessed us with the opportunity to travel to Mozambique, Africa and witness the outpouring of God’s Love and miracles at the home base mission compound for Heidi Baker, Iris Ministries. Two close friends of ours, Cassandra and Steve Soars, live and work full time for Iris. They are very anointed and dedicated missionaries serving the Lord in this very impoverished environment. To say that they are roughing it as compared to our living standards is an understatement.

The Soars organized 7 amazing days for us in Mozambique. Terri had the opportunity to travel in the bush with Heidi Baker and Georgian Banoff to minister, see a water well dedication and be part of a worship service with an Iris village church.

We also were able to visit a 125 acre farm supported by Iris Ministries, experience a very blessed Sunday service where the orphans there prayed for us, and spent time with the orphans during their morning Bible service and lunch program. Bob had several opportunities to provide maintenance services to improve the living conditions for the missionaries (using his special giftings).

It was not all work. We had an opportunity to travel by boat to a reef to snorkel and whale watch. We ate in some amazing local restaurants and swam in the Indian ocean. Since we chose to live in a quaint hotel on the beach, we woke up every morning to women collecting snails and men doing cast net fishing in their small boats. I tried to help the women catch crabs and my clumsiness was a great amusement to them! This afforded wonderful interactions with the locals.

What a magnificent way to see the Lord’s anointing and work first hand in this amazing ministry! We were blessed every moment we were there.

To complete our trip we added a vacation to go on safari while in Africa. It is simply glorious to see God’s beautiful animals running free and unimpeded by us. Words alone cannot describe the time we had together ministering, working and playing in the Lord’s service.

My wife and I enjoyed so much the freedom in this ministry, as well as the presence of Gods love. The Florida mission school was very much centered around honoring and worshiping the Father, giving all the glory to Jesus, and making room for the Holy Spirit to lead and direct in any way He wanted to be received as God on earth. We felt well received by the leaders of the ministry in our assignment in the Kingdom of God. We also had very good contact with Pastor Cesar and his family: humble and honest servants of Jesus. we experienced Jesus touching many hearts deeply and bringing great change for the glory of God. So far, attending a few weeks the Sarasota mission school has been the best thing that happened to us in 2013.

I have regularly been part of this non-profit since 2007, volunteering in different roles and in various activities. I have helped out in Mozambique, where Iris has established many children centers where they take in orphans, clothe, feed, and provide them with education. I have also been helping out in the Brazil base, also with different tasks. Through my volunteering, I have stepped into my responsibility in bringing transformation to a society through love, and actions of justice. I felt like I was able to make a tangible difference in the lives of the children because I had full interaction with them. I could be amongst them and learn about their stories and lives.

My experience advising Iris Global has shown me that they have a tremendous scope and are working to impact and empower communities around the globe. They have grown rapidly and are working to keep up with that growth by investing in resources necessary to not only stay in compliance with US rules for non-profits, but to increase their transparency to a variety of stakeholders. I applaud Iris Global for their efforts and invite readers to take a look at this organization.

My husband and I volunteered to do work for them in Mozambique Africa in 2000 and 2001. I had hurt my leg in 2006 so my husband went by himself. Each visit was wonderful and it blessed my husband and myself as well as blessing others. We got to love on the children at the children's center as well as reach out to others on the street, in the jail,in the hospital and at the garbage dump. We were overwhelmed by the love that we saw poured out on others by this ministry. It totally changed our lives. We love this ministry and so we support it with prayer and finances as well as supporting one of their children. The founders Roland and Heidi Baker Affectionately known as Papa Rolland and mama Heidi make the ministry what it is. They have an awesome love for God and for people.

My wife and I have volunteered in the garbage dump of Rio de Janeiro with Iris ministries and their team. Not only were we blown away with the teams heart for the people they were ministering to, but also with commitment to see His kingdom come through practical ways. We witnessed first hand the children receiving clothing, food and the unconditional love of the Father.

This ministry has so impacted my life. I not only laughed and cried hearing the stories told, but I grabbed hold of the reality that I too can make a difference. Now myself, my husband along with my 4 children and a team of 12, moved to Brazil to reach the ones that no one wants. This ministry has something so fresh for everyone at every walk in life. I LOVE Iris Global, I am an alumni from Iris Harvest and spent three months in Pemba, Mozambique and I came back overwhelmed and humbled. I have never been the same since getting in contact with the Iris Global family and ministry. The LOVE of Jesus truly shines through not just the ministry volunteers but to all those who come in contact with Iris Global. I have seen the Bakers and the staff carry the same heart of love, with unprecedented humility. This organization focuses on its core values of stopping for the one, loving the whole person, practically, demonstrating that to different individuals, countries and cultures, love looks like something, whether a hug, a plate of food, clean clothes, prayer, education, etc.. My kids of ages 5, 10 and 12 and I attended the Sarasota Harvest School of Missions in 2013 and our experience was life changing!! After seeing the fruit this organization has clearly produced over the years across many countries, specifically how the unloved and orphans are being taken care at many locations, we have decided to sponsor a child.

This is the real deal - no fluff, no show, no pretense - it's as real as it gets! Words to describe this - true passion, love in action, freedom to be true, community, hugs everywhere, vulnerability in a safe way, amazing joy...but words are truly inadequate to describe this experience! I do know I feel homesick for Pemba - for the most beautiful family!

I can honestly say that this is the most worthy ministry I have ever been involved with! Heidi and Rolland Baker and the Iris staff take the concept of "giving" to an all time high. I was there for 3 months and saw, with my own eyes, amazing love and giving to the poor and sick and needy in Pemba Mozambique. The hearts of the missionaries in this ministry is to give up their lives to serve. It was an honor and a privilege to go there and be a part of the work of the Lord in that place.

Iris has changed my life. I have learned to love better by watching them live what they preach for years. They taught me that love looks like something, and to dream impossible dreams with tenacity. Iris, and the culture that Heidi and Rolland Baker have cultivated, is really a role model for my entire life. They demonstrate radical love and radical hope and are willing to walk through all the challenges to continue.

I've been in relationship with Rolland & Heidi Baker and Iris Global since 2003. I have thoroughly investigated the various aspects of this ministry, visiting Mozambique (and other African countries) numerous times, spent hours and hours with the Bakers, and walked as a member of the Iris Global family for many years. This ministry is the most authentic, genuine, humble ministry I am aware of on the earth! It is not perfect, but it is close! The leaders are sincere and seeking God's face. They have paid the price to bring the gospel to the last, the least, and the lost. There is an incredible revival movement happening through Iris Global, and I am very, very privileged to be part of it. This ministry is worth investing in and giving towards. Going to Iris Harvest school changed my life and the lives of my whole family. Myself, my husband and our two daughters 12 and 13 all attended Harvest School 16. We prayed before we left America, "GOD change us or kill us." We were desperate to be forever changed and HE did. It is an incredible place to learn about the depth of love that GOD has for you! It will forever change your mindset and heart.

Iris Global is one of the most active organizations that loves everyone around them. Iris really has changed my life and I know has changed the lives of others world-wide.

After watching the documentary, 'The Finger of God', a few of my friends and I decided to go to visit the Iris orphanage in Pemba and it truly opened my eyes to the love of God in the world and the impact it had on everyone who came into contact with it. We quickly became part of this loving family and saw the love and power of God at work daily.

Iris Global has helped change my life. The way they care for the children the Lord has entrusted to them is amazing. I can not hear enough of other life changing stories that come from people who have been touched by this ministry.

Amazing, life changing mission organization! I was in Pemba Mozambique for their first ever Holy Given School 1 in 2005. What a wild trip! I learned so much about God's heart for the poor and the marginalized.

When I spent time in Mozambique with Iris ministries I saw the lives of many many precious children, mamas , papas, young men and young woman being changed daily!
Not only did I witness a love that was so transcendent I found I was the one that was being blessed by These incredible villages full of transformed people living in poverty but having a richness that could not be added in dollars!
I saw children with no hope being given a hope for the future!
The work iris is doing worldwide is in my opinion some of the most important work of our lifetime!
I believe that through the laid down love of the body of Christ serving with Iris Global we will see an end to world hunger in our life time!

This is an amazing organization. I have been honored to participate in it in many different ways over the years. The heart of this organization is love, love and more love. You can really see that love makes a real difference in our world. You cannot help but have your life changed when you participate in any way, on the giving or receiving end. If you give you always receive more than you could ever imagine.

I have been watching Iris Ministries grow and do incredible things for several years now. There is no question that this ministry has made a lasting impact on the communities and even the nations where they have established churches. Their caring of widows and orphans rivals any social welfare program anywhere on earth. Orphans become sons and daughters and widows are given ways to make livlihoods. They water projects have improved the lives of many local villages. Their schools have turned out some of the finest scholars in Mozambique. In my opinion, there is no other organization more worthy of support than Iris Ministries. They are who they say they are 100% and live out what they preach, "stopping for the one." Iris Ministires ideed makes love "look like something."

Iris Global is a solid, Spirit-filled organization that is literally changing the world. Leadership walks in amazing humility, integrity, and power. It is an honor to serve with this NGO that reaches the physical and spiritual needs of the poor in radical ways.

Iris Global is the most incredible missions organization that I am aware of on the face of planet earth. I have been volunteering with Iris since 2008 and I can honestly say that it has changed my life in the most unimaginable ways. Because Iris exists, I have been personally transformed, become a missionary, and launched my own non profit that helps hundreds of kids each week. This organization is changing lives and changing the world!

I had the privilege of volunteering on a Medical Mission in Mozambique this past March working with Iris Ministries. Their humility and ethos to 'stop for the one' was hugely inspirational and so evident to see. A remarkable charity spreading to many parts of the globe meeting the physical and spiritual needs of the disadvantaged.

Everyone I've met from this organization has been amazing and so very friendly and helpful. Every time I've seen Heidi in person she is always loving people in the most important way .. by giving, smiling, encouraging and helping them. I've seen with my own eyes how Heidi loves the least lovely and shares kindness beyond measure. Heidi and and Iris is one of the best examples of a giving, caring organization.

Iris Global has contributed more to the world and to Africa than any organization I have ever heard of. They save, change, restore and heal lives.

I heard about Iris Global in 2008 and became an official missionary with them in January 2012. I am working with the iris Fortaleza base running several of the children's programs, sharing the Gospel, and trying to give myself completely to the Lord--for He is worthy to receive the reward of His suffering.

Iris is not a humanistic or socialistic ministry, although love does look like something--often feeding, housing, clothing the poor. Iris exists to glorify God and bring the Gospel and Love of Jesus to the lost.

I would strongly recommend getting involved though, prayer, financial support, or even a visit. God is moving!!

We are amazed at the work Iris does. From rescuing children from the sex trade, taking in orphans, feeding the poor, teaching people how to start small businesses to feed their family, helping at disaster sites, stopping for the one to listen, to love and Sooo very much more.

The only direct contact I've had with this organization has been hearing Heidi and Rolland Baker speak at two conferences in the UK. I've also listened to a lot of Heidi Baker sermons over internet and read their books. Receiving the teaching and inspiration has changed my life more than anything else! Now I love God more, now I love the people around me more. Thanks to Iris.

I have followed this ministry for a number of years. My husband and I are thoroughly inspired by Heidi and Rolland Baker. We recommend them and their ministry to anyone who has a heart for the poor and for justice. Their love for God and obedience to him is amazing. I am thankful that this ministry is growing and bringing Kingdom to earth in different countries. Every child deserves love and a home, God wants to heal people and save them and thisnismhappening through this ministry.

Rolland and Heidi are the real deal. They have impacted our lives in countless ways. Their love for Father God, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit and others is radical, genuine and inspiring. We love them so much.

Though I have not met any of the Iris staff or teams, I keep up with them through updates and info on their website and youtube channel, which they faithfully provide. Ever since I first found out about them, 2-3 years ago, I have come to learn of how they do not just spread the gospel through word, but they demonstrate the gospel in blessing others through deeds that meet various physical, emotional, spiritual, and economical needs, all over the world! I am also deeply blessed by Rolland and (more often) Heidi's speaking and the testimonies they provide which truly have changed my life! I also have one of Heidi and Rolland's books "Compelled By Love" which grew my selfish heart about 3 sizes. :) No matter what faith you are from, the immeasurable fruit that is borne by this organization is undeniable (so much that the President of Mozambique could not help himself but to show deep gratitude and thank them personally!!). I thank precious King Jesus for this organization, and am SO blessed that He would create such an awesome and vast laid-down group of lovers that display even in these times, such a grand and accurate picture of His radical love. I without second thought, financially support this team regularly, as it is worth every penny. I also regularly lift them up in prayer, and ask the Lord to continue to bless and protect them, and further enable them to reach more people still. Lastly, one of my deepest desires is to visit the Harvest School in the future if the Lord wills and provides!

The willingness to be used by God to bring Heaven to Earth wherever Iris Ministries is goes beyond inspirational. There isn't any place or person they will not reach when directed by the Holy Spirit. Personally praying that I will get to sit under their leadership soon.

I have worked with Iris Ministries in a number of countries, and I can't recommend them highly enough. Their dedication and commitment to the poor, needy, and vulnerable is undeniable and the personal sacrifices Iris workers make is astonishing. My wife and I would love to work with Iris Brazil long term when the time is right.

I learned about Iris ministries after hearing Heidi Baker speak at some conferences. I think her and her husband are remarkable people and what impressed me most was their humility and perseverance. I would absolutely love to go and work/volunteer with them. They lead and train people, feed the poor, love those who are seen as unlovable and they appear to do it with such joy. I have been challenged and impacted by the stories I have heard from Iris ministries and I believe they have a lot of integrity. Heidi - you don't know me but when I face a challenge in life I ask myself "what would Heidi do?".

I have worked with Iris Global for over 10 years. They have grown substantially over this period. The enthusiasm and energy that Heidi and Rolland Baker have for their vision to uplift and provide self sufficiency for those less served has never waivered. From the Bakers to the Missionaries to the Base staffs to the administrative assistants, there is a pervasive sense of family, commitment and love for their work that I find admirable and rare. This is outstanding and important work by a genuine team.

As a long time donor/supporter I can vouch for the extreme integrity and fruit of their work in Africa and beyond. They run a tight ship with remarkably low operations/admin costs! Highly recommend them!
