Mission: Our mission at the Heart of Texas Pregnancy Resource Center (HTPRC) is to save lives in the name of Jesus Christ. We have positive solutions concerning unexpected pregnancies and share God’s grace with those in need. We educate on abstinence/sexuality, and offer compassionate care to each of our clients.
Results: The HTPRC is a young organization, in full operation only since January 2013. To date, we have located in an office building central to our mission and acquired clientele numbering more than 1,000 mothers, many of whom had their babies months ago but who still visit regularly for supplies or just to talk. We set up a boutique and stocked it with baby items. We acquired an ultrasound device and a trained volunteer who can operate it. We recently began our first parenting class. We consolidated and improved client forms and set up a routine for entering information in the database.

Geographic areas served: Austin and Dripping Springs, Texas
Programs: peer advocacy, pregnancy tests and ultrasounds, clothing, diapers, formula and other baby supplies, along with love and support. All goods and services are free of charge.
