Heal One World is an amazing place that has provided me with the opportunity to practice yoga, zumba, tai chi, and pilates. Based in a community where these forms of exercise aren't readily available, I must applaud Skye Kelly for providing us with donation-based access. Everyone in the community is grateful Heal One World exists. The space where we meet is absolutely perfect and every single teacher provides quality, top-notch instruction.

I would like to say one thing: Heal One World is a very safe environment meant for healing. I was an Intern over the summer and I had the chance to observe the yoga classes and some cranialsacral trou are treatments. First thing I noticed was that the yoga instructors definitely enjoy teaching. They cater to all levels of Yogis. They give those with more experience to try next level and beginners the chance to learn and perfect. Skye Kelly is amazing. I sometimes wonder if she is secretly Wonderwoman because she never sits down long enough to rest. Her energy and zeal for Heal One World--for people is something to be admired. She performs professional Cranialsacral treatments on donations. Her goal is to help heal. That is what Heal One World is for; it is for healing and learning how to heal. The mind, body and soul are connected and in this space you will learn how to soothe all three through many avenues. Great space. Great atmosphere. Great Organization.

Heal One World is a wonderful community space that serves people from all different backgrounds, races, socioeconomic class, etc. It provides a safe space for people, most of whom couldn't afford a to practice in a fancy Los Angeles yoga studio, to learn about yoga, meditation and other ways of healing and nurturing the body and mind.

After seeing numerous doctors (western & holistic) for many years with no success, Skye was able to pinpoint exactly what my problem was. With Skye's treatments for the past 8 months I continue to improve and see life changing results. I was glad to have found her!!!
From her healing therapies, her Awareness Film Festival, her yoga studio, Skye has a clear vision of human healing and what she wants to achieve to help others.

The fact that everyone is a volunteer is an incredible feat. This is an organization that is going places, spreading healing, knowledge and empowerment. I only wish I could do even more. Heal One World is truly doing amazing things and bringing yoga to a community that might not have access otherwise. I got certified to teach so I could volunteer my time sharing the gift of yoga practice with others. I was thrilled to find HOW so quickly after getting certified and I really love my class. Skye has done an incredible job with this organization!

I was invited by a friend to join her for a yoga class at Heal One World. It exceeded my expectations, and I've since attended about six or seven classes on different days. The teachers are friendly and encouraging. Each of the three teachers that I had was very willing to spend additional time with students during and after class, explaining how to do poses properly in order to avoid undue stress or injury. They really have a passion for yoga and a desire to share the practice with others. The space is also very nice, and the donation-based system opens up the organization to the whole community.

I am a Yoga instructor at Heal One World. I have witnessed the transforming powers of Yoga in our students. The studio is a cozy cocoon. The Yoga classes are suitable for everyone, especially first time students and beginners. We also have Zumba, Pilates and Tai Chi. HOW is a jewel in this community. Skye and the instructors bring a healing, nurturing environment to an area that needs it. Heal One World is also involved in environmental clean up and regularly organizes community and beach clean ups. Skye produces a film festival that promotes global awareness and spiritual consciousness. I love Heal One World. Namaste'.

I have been teaching yoga at Heal One World for over a year and have found it to be an incredibly gratifying experience. It has been a privilege to bring the practice of yoga to wonderful students in an area of Los Angeles where yoga is not readily available (or affordable). Skye Kelly's vision and hard work have been essential to the creation and maintenance of this exceptional community space, and I am grateful to be a part of it.

I first learned about Heal One World in 2011, and have offered my professional services in pilates and acupuncture as a practitoner as schedule permits. I was drawn to donate time and services to this organization since it brings a combination of services, education and community into the surrounding neighborhood. I am continued to be impressed by the involvement in working with other local non-profits and crossing barriers by combining services with events related to the film industry and truly capturing the spirit of creating affordable access to services and awareness through both media and experience for both volunteers and participants in classes and events, as well as diverse range of topics and interests so there is something for everyone to benefit and check out.

Beautiful space and good to have donation-based yoga and healing classes in the Crenshaw area. The studio is making a difference in the lives of people who do not usually have access to alternative healing choices. The extent of Heal One World's outreach is astounding, from Venice Family Clinic to veterans to schools and more.

My experience with Heal One World exceeded my expectation. It's not that I never attended any kind of yoga class before. But the classes truly made a difference in my understanding of how to do yoga properly. I found my energy and physical strength increased. The best part of going to any of their classes is the personal interaction and the feeling of community. Besides the classes I have enjoyed the many events and activities offered. it is truly a special place for people to come together.

Heal one world is a beautiful community space that allows everyone is the community the opportunity to experience yoga, pilates and educational resources that they'd never have otherwise. So many need body movement and to learn how their bodies are effected by their actions but don't have a place to experience it. Heal One World is that place that young, old, poor, rich, educated and uneducated have a space to come and learn how movement can help their lives. I look forward to my pilates class every week.

I found Heal One World by accident. I was looking for the bike shop next door. It was a God send. Not only do I get to work with a great group of dedicated people, in a creative, intimate setting, but I can serve the community as well. In addition to sharing my skills and abilities, I learn about *diet, posture, exercise, and watch documentaries that include new releases. * Basically I get o eat great tasting, healthy meals.

HOW created magnificent healing results for me. I was in a car accident that left my severely whip lashed neck and back in swollen agony. Skye Kelly changed all that and in several sessions I was "walking tall" with neck, spine and hips in alignment. I will continue supporting Heal One World and Skye Kelly my entire life!

I started participating in Heal One World almost a year ago when complications from my Celiac disease left me with organ damage, nerve damage, and neurological issues that made it difficult for me to walk. I walked in the door feeling defeated and alone, and was doubtful that anyone could help me. Skye immediately agreed to do bodywork on me every week and became my greatest health ally, supporting me, encouraging me, and checking up on me. Her warmth and compassion are amazing, and the volunteers and instructors are just as wonderful as she is! I'm taking yoga (with the amazing Michele), meditation, and Reiki classes and am getting ready to start volunteering as a Reiki teacher here. What Heal One World has really given me though, is a new life. I'm now healthy--with no nerve damage, brain issues, or problems walking. The support, knowledge, and guidance I've received here have helped me to heal physically emotionally and spiritually. I highly recommend HOW and I know that whoever you are, HOW has classes and events that will help enrich your life.

Life changing is what I would call my experience at Heal One World. Once I realized this facility was in my neighborhood, I decided to take advantage of all it has to offer. From yoga to zumba to the classes offered on health and general well-being, I have learned so much and as a result feel stronger mentally, physically and spiritually. What’s also great about this place is that everyone is so nice and generous with information. In addition, the quality instruction provided by the various teachers makes this place a pure jewel of joy!

I was a volunteer for the Awareness Festival 2012. It was an awesome experience, with amazing people and films!!! There were so many to choose from and the filmmakers were all there and so gracious. I am happy that the fest supports the efforts of Heal One World. I was injured in an accident and these things have helped me so much! I cannot wait to volunteer again next festival!

I believe that charity work is so important and it makes us remember we are human beings. Charity work gives us a sense of healing. I have worked with the Epilepsy Foundation and World Visions which has been life changing. I also get to hear such wonderful stories from the beautiful work my sister has done with Heal the world.

I am so happy to give a review for heal one world. I have donated some time as well as funds as part of their healthy living program on pico. The space is healing and has beautiful art and the yoga class was easy, yet I really felt a difference. It is great how they offer community classes on a donation basis, our area really needs this- I can't believe someone finally came here and is offering the classes and events, like films and open mic night...I love it! Thank you heal one world team for being an inspiration

From experience I have found that very few charities are directly impacting individuals - a lot generally look to fix bigger picture items. Heal One World is the first charity that I have found that directly impacts the individual - through free or low cost classes, clinics for low cost treatments and even ones not so common - forums, friendships and sometimes entertainment with a message through their Awareness Festival. I am fulfilled being a donor and helping out where I can - I encourage you to as well!

I have volunteered at heal one world for several months now and it has been incredibly rewarding to see this non-profit grow! They have an amazing space in an area very under-served in LA, I know I grew u here. They also do film stuff and each film I saw had an impact on my ways, be it eating better or avoiding plastic bags! I am proud to be involved in such a independent and meaningful cause- everyone is a volunteer and everyone really just wants to help people- its cool.

I volunteered for the Awareness Film Festival last year. I was so impressed by the films that were shown and getting to experience the filmmakers being in attendance is great. I have also helped at one of their yoga classes when it was in Santa Monica, very cool.
