I am working with Go4theGoal for my senior project. It really is a great organization, and people get really excited when they find out how easy it is to get involved and how much of their donation is actually going to helping kids with cancer. I hope to continue volunteering long after my senior project is over!
Here at Children's Hospital Colorado when the Kart-4-Kids pulls up to a patient's door something magical happens.
It never fails to pause a cry, ease a procedure, or prompt a patient (who might not otherwise be inclined) to hop out of bed to lauch a serious shopping spree. It always produces a laugh or a smile in what might be a "rough" day, it can give a family a much welcome change up to Chipotle for dinner, and even provide a small but so much appreciated assist for a family who might not be able to afford some small necessity that we might take for granted.
Working with the people from The Go-4-the-Goal Foundation has been an incredible. experience. It doesn't matter if you are talking to them on the phone, communicating thru email, or personally spending time with them in an onchology unit, the feeling is always the same. These are the most caring, dedicated, and effective people you could ever hope to team up with. They just plain "get it".
We come across Go4theGoal in an email from the athletics coordinator inviting our Travel Baseball teams to host a "Gold Event" to help raise money for Pediatric Cancer. What they didnt know is that we not only have Travel Baseball teams, but are a Tournament host each year for the Jaguars Memorial Tournament, where 96 Baseball teams from all over Ohio and neighboring states compete in Grove City, Ohio. Each year we like to make our event a great baseball experience for all teams involved, but also to highlight the amazing opportunity we have to come together and help others. Each year we have focused our efforts to different local charities, but felt that we could not do as much as possible due to managing such a large event.
the 2015 Jaguars Memorial Tournament was a "Gold Event" with Go4theGoal. They made it simple on us as tournament directors, just a few emails, they handled the rest! The event was very succesfull, and we generated more this year for Charity than any year past! All Jaguars Tournaments will be "Gold Events" with Go4theGoal!

Go4thegoal helped immensely in our National Cancer Survivor Day for our patients and families at Cardon Children's Medical Center. They provided items for our gift bags that we handed out to each survivor and they volunteered their time and efforts to ensure our cancer survivors experienced a memorable celebration. We are so appreciate of Go4thegoal and all their hard work to ensure our patients and families' needs are being met.
Go4theGoal has been quickly responsive and supportive to many families that I have worked with. They have been flexible and accommodating to individual needs, whether they are practical or emotional supports - they just seem to want to meet a need and help a child and family. Whether it is assistance with a hotel bill or helping a student pay a tuition bill, Go4theGoal has been a wonderfully collaborative foundation to work with. They are a go-to for families and I am grateful that they do the work that they do!
As the social worker for a children's hospital, I love Go4TheGoal! They offer our families who are already emotionally overwhelmed by what's going on with their kids a resource - bill help - when it's needed most. Many of my families have had to quit a job (or got fired) because they were at the hospital with their sick child. They're worried with how am I going to pay the rent so my son or daughter has a home to return to. G4TG alleviates that concern in that moment so they can focus on their child's illness and helping them get better! I specifically like how fast the turn-around response is (24 hours or less usually). Again, it eases a parent's weight immediately! Thanks for all you do for my patients at our hospital in Charleston, SC! - Tiombe Plair, LMSW
I'm an Oncology Social Worker at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland who collaborates with Go4thegoal often. The staff are phenomenal! They have large hearts and do great work to help so many families that are struck by cancer. They are very responsive and expeditiously help me in my role to problem solve issues that arise for my families. I am grateful that Go4thegoal does the work that they do and look forward to continue our wonderful working relationship. I give a big THANK YOU!
Go4thegoal has helped so many of my families in their times of need. I've been so impressed, not only with the generosity of this organization, but with their attentiveness to providing assistance in a timely manner. I've seen this organization go above and beyond to pay a family's electric bill by making the payment online instead of mailing a check, just so the payment wouldn't be late. I enjoy working with G4TG tremendously and will continue to rely on them to provide much needed help to families of children with cancer.
You all are wonderful in what you do, and not only wonderful but quick in your response, either for what you can do as well as what you are unable to do. I know the families you have assisted us are very pleased with Go4theGoal! Carolyn K. Williams, MSW Oncology Social Worker, CHKD, Norfolk, VA
I found out through the internet that a local teen who plays basketball had been diagnosed with Leukemia. I seached the internet and found go4thegoal. I loved the idea of selling showlaces to our towns children and sports team. It seemed to me like an easy thing to sell and something that the kids could use. Beth at Go4thegoal was so helpful and kind on the phone. I picked up laces the same day I made my first phone call to her. I had everything I needed to get started. That night in a few hours I sold 20 laces to a few people at a basketball game. People were so generous and so supportive and loved the laces and the bracelets. I was able to take pictures and post them on media sites so that our local teen that was battling leukemia could see that we were there for him and supporting him. It just took one phone call to get the ball rolling it couldn't have been any easier.

Go4theGoal is a great organization to work with! To see how much the work they do, and how much they help children and families affected by cancer, is very fulfilling! Go4theGoal really does make a difference in, not just their community, but hundreds of communities across the country!
My name is Hunter Zampa, and I am a teen chef. I have been featured on Rachael Ray vs Guy Fieri Kids Cookoff, The Rachael Ray Show, and even won the Food Network show Chopped! I recently did an event with Go4theGoal called the Kid Chef Cookoff. We raised over 15,000 dollars for a boy with leukemia in my hometown, and Go4theGoal was the best. We would have not been able to do what we accomplished without the help from Beth, Heather, and everyone else from the charity. I would love to do another event with Go4theGoal, and had an amazing time working with them!
My 12 year old nephew is a cancer survivor and I couldn't think of a better cause to be a part of. My son plays soccer for North Olmsted High School and being able to have the boys show their support while raising money was a win/win. We were able to sell laces to other athletes in our community as well and it made our family really feel like we were able to make a difference.
I am on the board for FCProvidence Soccer Club in PA. We decided to support Pediatric Awareness Month in September. I found Go 4 the Goal by searching for the gold sock with the gold ribbon. What a great way to generate awareness. The kids wore them to all of their games during the month of September. In addition, Go 4 the Goal sent us merchandise to sell to raise funds for a very important cause. It was great to get the children and families involved in this effort. Even families from the opposing teams not only contributed but also thanked us for supporting such a great cause.
Go 4 the Goal also allows you to choose where the funds go, which was very important to us. They were a pleasure to work with by providing all of the information and materials, as well as excellent communication.
I am very pleased to have had the pleasure to support such a great case and to partner with this amazing organization.
My husband and I coach for Barberton Youth Soccer and we heard about this program through a newspaper article. The reason why we got involved in this wonderful cause is a few years ago our oldest son was having some health issues, we took him to the doctors the him some blood work, the warned us what they were testing for and one of the things on the list was childhood cancer. We waited a week for the results it was the longest week of our lives, it turned out he had mono. I can't imagine what these young cancer patients and their families go through. We love that Go 4 the Gold gives back to children right in our own community.
Thank you for letting our team participate in such a wonderful cause.
Brian and Stacy Carpenter
I am the parent of a young survivor, and was moved to help when I found out my son's hospital would benefit. He is now a healthy soccer player, so this was a perfect way give back. Go 4 the Goal was very easy to work with and prompt in responding to questions. They provided posters, literature, balloons - everything we needed for a smooth fundraiser. The shoelaces were very well received by the families who were eager to support the cause.
I am the director of a high school health career exploraton program in NYC. Beth was in touch with us this past summer about raising awareness in our school through sports and the Medical Gateways program. Through her efforts, the studetns were able to both raise money for G4TG and awareness throughout the school community via sports and a "Dress up your uniform with Gold Day." She supported us through the entire process even providing snacks for our 66 student sleep-over at school the night prior to the Today show. We were blessed to come in contact with Beth and her staff. They have helped us continue our mission of empowering young women through faith and education.
It is such an honor to have been blessed with the friendship of the Stefanacci family. Their graciousness and goodness is so heartwarming. Go4TheGoal is helping thousands of children affected by cancer achieve their goals...especially when it is so hard for them to keep up with their schoolwork and classmates. As I treasure the memories of sitting side by side with Richard (as his homebound instructor), I know Richard is guiding the Go4TheGoal Foundation with his spirit.
I am a social worker at a children's hospital. Go 4 the Goal has been an amazing organization that has assisted many of our families, specifically during emergent situations. All of their staff are professional, passionate, and responsive to the needs of our families. I can not think of a better run, more dedicated organization than G4G. Thank you for all that you do to serve pediatric cancer patients and their families!
My daughter was diagnose with stage 3 sarcoma and go for the goal reach out to our family. They were there and very supportive. My daughter is a teen. They sent her an iPad and beat headphones to help her with her hospital stay and time at the clinic. They also did a fundraiser at her school
With gold laces. They have reached out with camp information etc. They have been amazing. We have mostly delt with Emma who vulenteers for Go For The Goal and she is just an absolute doll. She is so sweet and understanding of what you are going through. She has made a huge difference in our lives and we love her.
We are grateful to gof4thegoal for providing beach access to patients who are experiencing end of life care and wish to be with their families in a relaxed setting. Go4thegoal presents unique opportunities for families to bond when their children when receiving palliative care and all other avenues have been exhausted to provide respite care for these families. Thank you for this special service for the families.

This season the Ivy League participated in a conference wide Go4TheGoal Lace-up weekend. Following the Ivy Conference meeting the Ivy League enthusiastically agreed to support a proposal to generate awareness for the Go4TheGoal Foundation.
During the opening weekend of Ivy League play each University wore their laces and home sites decorated their fields. Personally, the Princeton Tigers were extremely excited to wear their laces and headbands to help generate awareness for an outstanding cause. The players were thrilled to support an organization that represents something truly meaningful. The events of this weekend had impacts throughout the department as various coaching staffs asked how they too can become involved with the Go4TheGoal Foundation.
The Princeton Tigers will continue to support the Go4TheGoal Foundation, as they are touched by the mission of this phenomenal organization.
Go4TheGoal is a phenomenal organization. The mission to help kids affected by cancer is fulfilled on a daily basis. They are super responsive to hospitals and the families dealing with pediatric cancer. They also make it easy for kids to help kids, with the Nation Dress 4 Pediatric Cancer. I've met their staff and every one of them give 150% to this mission.
Go4theGoal has helped us in so many ways. Our hospital won the holiday contest and we received amazing gifts!
Recently, they helped send 2 children to the beach. These kids are on hospice and wanted a last trip to the beach with their families and Go4theGoal made that happen! Thank you to all the staff, volunteers, and donors at Go4theGoal! We appreciate you and your kindness!
Wow! Go4theGoal went above and beyond to grant a dying wish to a young girl who wished to meet Winter the Dolphin in Tampa, FL. I sent Go4thegal an email on a Friday afternoon and we had the trip planned by Saturday afternoon. They were flexible, caring and professional. They made the arrangements without hesitation and took on the child's wish without looking back. There were some obstacles to jump during the planning process, but Go4thegoal jumped them and went on. By the end of the weekend the trip was planned. A girl traveled from Chattanooga, TN to Tamp, F: with her parents and 2 brothers. They found them a hotel on the beach, the family had never seen the beach. They made sure money was not an issue. They allowed the family to meet Winter the Dolphin and make happy memories before she left this earth. The girl tried shrimp for the first time and went to the spa for her first time. She enjoyed floating in the pool with her brothers and sitting in the hot tub with her mom and being with her Daddy. Thank you Go4thegoal for making my job so rewarding. I was able to tell the family about your foundation and tell her about the amazing trip you had planned. I will not forget her fave when I showed her the video to the hotel.

I have been involved with Go4theGoal since it's establishment in 2006 and the much needed support they provide for cancer patients and their families is incredible. One of the most wonderful things about Go4theGoal is that all funds raised stay local which allows everyone involved in a Go4theGoal fundraiser to really feel like they are making a difference. Everyone working at Go4theGoal is completely selfless and their hard work and dedication to the cause is remarkable. Go4theGoal has grown immensely over the last eight years and the impact they have on people's lives will only continue to grow as they do.
This organization is awesome!!! Not only do they provide our families with resources and support during their time of need, but through their Holiday program they also allowed our clinic staff the opportunity to work together and have positive experiences with our patients. Something that we will never forget and are so grateful for.
Go4theGoal is an amazing organization that has provided the patients in our clinic with an extensive collection of electronic equipemtn via their Holiday Giving Program. They also provide emergency financial assistance to our patient's families when they need it the most. They are very easy to work with andy they have a very thoughtful and caring staff.
Go4thegoal is an amazing organiztion, who partners with us on many occasions to help our patients and their families. Whenever we have a need, Go4thegoal is eager to help us, whether it is adopting a family for the holidays, sending a patient to a Broadway show, or doing a fabulous makeover for our "Teen Lounge". The staff and founders of Go4thegoal are always looking for new incredible ideas to bring to us for our patients. The Kart 4 Kids is so well received by our families, they are always looking for that sweet treat, and encouraging words fron the G4theG volunteers. We love you Go4thegoal! - Sue Administrative Director Tomorrows Children's Fund
Throughout the past couple of years I have found that volunteering at Go4TheGoal is great! I still remember when Go4TheGoal was started and now it has grown to be such an amazing organization. I enjoy volunteering at events and actually have a lot of fun doing so. I think the work that this organization does for children diagnosed with cancer is so important. They provide so much help and make so many children so happy. I also love that my high school participates too. I love when we have the lace up sports games each year and the dress down day to raise money and awareness. Go4TheGoal has made a great impact on many lives including mine. I love being a part of this organization and can't wait to volunteer for the next events.
I would like you to thank you for giving my daughter everything that was on her Christmas list. She was beyond happy with everything. I'm so greatful for everything you have done because you made the impossible possible thank you soooooo much.
I have had a wonderful experience working with Go4theGoal. Beth got in contact with me and we started a "Kart4Kids" program at my local hospital. We visit the hospital and let kids pick a gift off of the cart that they get to keep all for themselves. It was amazing to see the smiles brought to their faces. It also felt amazing to see all the parents smile while their child was playing with his or her new toy. Go4theGoal brings a little happiness and a smile to these children and their families dealing with cancer. This is an absolutely wonderful organization that I am happy to be working with.
I have only wonderful things to say about this very special organization. I worked closely with Beth and Carina of Go4theGoal this past September during Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month. As the author of Nistar, a graphic novel about a superhero for children affected by cancer, I have dreamed about getting my book into the hands of children in hospitals all over the world. Go4theGoal, with their expertise, generosity and close connections with over 70 hospitals in the U.S., made it possible for this dream to come true. Go4theGoal is an organization with HEART, weaving dreams for children battling cancer, and their families. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to work with them and I look forward to parterning with their fiercely driven cancer fighting team in the close future!
I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with Go4TheGoal Foundation for the last three years. I have seen first hand, the motivation, dedication, and passion that Beth Stefanacci and the entire Foundation has for helping children with cancer achieve their goals. I have worked mostly with young athletes in the area to participate in the "Lace Up for Pediatric Cancer" campaign, and I have seen the impact and inspiration of many young soccer players doing their part in the fight against pediatric cancer. Go4TheGoal has helped to change the lives of many young children battling cancer, but they also give young athletes a means to help in the fight. This is a personal battle worth the effort at all levels. It is a privilege to work with Go4TheGoal and the brave children fighting each day.

For the past three years, my business partners and I have had the privilege to serve as the Presenting Sponsors for Richard's Run HHK 5K, one of Go4theGoal's most important fundraising initiatives. We have had the opporutnity to witness firsthand, the incredible impact that Go4theGoal has on the lives of children battling cancer as well as their families. The professionalism and dedication of everyone involved with this incredible organization, is unmatched and has solidified our support /commitment for years to come. We are proud to be aligned with this Foundation, which truly makes an incredible difference. CJR Trading
I've had several opportunities to work directly with Nan Kelly at Go 4 the Goal, and based on those experiences, I can honestly say that G4G is filled with incredibly hardworking and compassionate individuals. Coupled with clear goals and a diverse set of programs, it's easy to understand how Go 4 the Goal continues to unify a massive front in the struggle against pediatric cancer. With a clear commitment and the continued support of like minded philanthropists across the county, Go 4 the Goal will continue to improve the lives of children struggling with cancer for years to come.
Go4theGoal does so many amazing projects for these patients. It is not only amazing and but also very inspiring to see how much work the board members and volunteers do to make this organization run with success. Each one of them give 110% to everything Go4theGoal. Everything from their runs to golf outings and hospital visits, helps to show how much they truly care about these young children fighting hard battles.
I truly don't think I know of a better non-profit organization than Go4theGoal. I have seen firsthand the devastating effects of pediatric cancer on a teenager and his family. I have gotten to know Beth Stefanacci on a personal level as she and the Go4theGoal family reached out to this family so soon after her own tragic loss. And I know that that is only ONE family that has been touched by the generosity and love of this incredible organization. I am amazed at the determination and tireless energy shown by Beth and Go4theGoal as they fight to help children and their families. They exemplify the "NEVER QUIT" spirit seen in so many of the children that are battling this horrific disease. I am honored to help them in whatever small way I can.
I have worked with Go4thegoal Foundation for the past 2 years, since learning about it at a national conference. They are so personable and available which for me is very important. They have provided laptops to 2 of my patients who needed to stay connected with school and friends during treatment and also worked with me on a special final wish request for a young adult. The families have been overwhelmingly impressed with the generosity from Go4thegoal and in each case have been moved to tears as I have explained this wonderful organization to them. I am grateful to have this Foundation on my list of helpful foundations who go above and beyond for patients who truly need the assistance.
Our Program has worked with GO4thgoal over the last two years. We started with selling laces for a boy in a neighboring town. This past season we had a child in our town and Go4thgoal was outstanding!
We were supplied with lacecs, information, banners. We were able to raise over $5,000 for the local family in a short amount of time. Go4thegoal help support several fundraisers beyond that initial event.
The people at the foundation truly care and work with you in any way possible. Extremely friendly and flexible.
Looking to coordinate several events this upcoming season.
Go4thegoal Foundation has enlightened me to the possibilities available for families dealing with the devastation of pediatric cancer. The strength and love required for the fight is at the core of this Foundation. Beth and her Go4thegoal family have really opened doors for children to help them and their families live and grow in love and support. They work tirelessly, month after month trying to reach as many people as possible. The children amazing! My husband and I will continue to work humbly with Go4thegoal -and we do so with grace.

I first got connected with Go4theGoal when my student who recently graduated from Jackson Liberty HS was diagnosed with bone cancer back on Christmas Eve. Her aunt is in the medical field and knew someone who was connected with them. Within a day, I heard from Beth Stefanacci and from our telephone conversation I could tell how much they wanted to help our student. In the next few days, Go4theGoal donated a new laptop which thrilled my student. In the weeks to follow, Beth took the time to travel all the way to Jackson to meet with me and a few colleagues about ways we could fundraise to help our student. The compassion and enthusiasm Beth showed was truly amazing and I am so glad I got to meet her. She sent us bracelets and gold colored shoe laces that were able to use to raise money.
Later on in the spring, Go4theGoal arranged for our student to throw out the first pitch at the Lakewood Blue Claws minor league baseball game. Beth and her staff are amazing and we are so appreciative of their efforts. They have made a difference and we will always be grateful.

Our Spring Varsity Sports at Oswego HS did a weekend event where all our teams wore the laces and raised money. Our girls soccer team worked with Oswego East and did a great job raising money and awareness with an all day event that included activities, scrimmages, and events. It was a very good experience for our students and we hope to make it an annual event at Oswego High School.
Go4TheGoal has given patients of The Melodies Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders a huge technology boost this holiday season. We were fortunate to place third in their Holiday Wish contest and they have provided our patients with an amazing amount of resources. We now have Leap Pads for little patients which are a great distraction tool. We also received iPads and Mac Book Pros for the kids to use while in clinic or during an inpatient stay. Patients are able to chronicle their treatment, take pictures and videos of their journey, or just use apps to help pass the time they spend in the hospital. Truly technology is such a vital part of the lives of children and adolescents today, any program who hopes to truly connect and reach the younger generation has to have technology as part of their resources for patients. Peers are a definite lifeline for our patients. This technology allows our patients to stay connected to classmates, friends, and relatives which is paramount to preventing isolation and depression which all too often can affect our patients. I cannot say enough about the Go4theGoal Foundation and how their hard work is impacting so many of our patients each and every day! Thank You! The staff are also amazing!
The Tomorrows Children's Fund won honorable mention in this years essay contest . Our extraordinary patients received 6 IPads to be used during their stay at the hospital. There are no words to describe the difference the IPads makes in our patients lives. During very painful procedures many of our patients no longer require anesthesia as the IPad provides an extraordinary distraction during thes procedures. They also make a long day of chemotherapy much more bearable as the time flies while they play games and email their friends. The families of the TCF have received an abundance of help, support and enormous assistance from this incredible organization. The words THANK YOU can never explain our gratitude to the wonderful people who run this orgaization!!!
This wonderful organization has truly made a difference in the lives of our children. As founder and executive director of Tomorrows Children's Fund, I have had the pleasure of meeting many people who join hands with us to help our children who are fighting cancer. Go 4 the Goal does what no other group has done - they have met the wishes and needs of our patients by providing amazing electronic gifts. The foundation created a "laptop" library with charging station enabling our patients to have the use of a Mac laptop while they are in the medical center. Their continued support of presents for our patients meets their wishes.

I had the most positive experience working with Go4theGoal! The assistance my patient needed was time-sensitive, and Go4theGoal had such an amazingly fast response. The process was streamlined and easy. Go4theGoal was flexible and willing to help with something that needed immediate attention. I am so grateful for the help!
This past Holiday season our pediatric oncology unit at Sacred Heart Children's Hospital participated in the G4G essay contest. Although we did not win, the experience of generating the essay and applying was a gift in itself. The Foundation then surprised all of the Hospitals that had entered the contest with donating i-pads for the unit- What a true gift & blessing! We were thrilled to hear this news & even more excited when the 4 i-pads arrived for the unit. We have used 1 i-pad for our music therapist, using musical expression as an outlet of coping. 1 i-pad has gone to our fulltime unit volunteer teacher. He has been able to load numerous educational games/activities/programs to aide in teaching while at the Hospital. The additional 2 i-pads are being used for general school purposes on the unit and for patients to connect with family and friends at home through Skype. These electronic tools open the doors to better expression, academics, and family togetherness- We are so very thankful to Go 4 the Goal for this gift & all that they do for pediatric oncology families and patients!!!
As a professional in the field of pediatric oncology, G4G, has been an absolute blessing for oncology families in need. They are very friendly, caring, professional, timely and efficient. They truly understand family needs and understand the urgency in crisis situations. I can't say enough good things about how helpful they have been to our families in need. Thank you G4G for all that you do for the pediatric oncology community!
I am the pediatric oncology social worker at UIC Hospital in Chicago, IL. We were the lucky 2nd place winners in Go4thegoal's Holiday Contest. This news was the best gift I received this Christmas! We were able to order iPads, laptops, gaming systems and many other items for entertaining and distracting patients that we would not otherwise been able to afford. Our relationship with Go4thegoal has also brought about support for our bereavement program as well as help to individual patients. I am so thankful to have been introduced to Go4thegoal. We have only been working together for about a year and I know that they will continue to be a tremendous resource for our patients and families!
Go4theGoal donated iPads to the Children's Blood and Cancer Center at Dell Children's Medical Center and we are so thrilled. As a Child Life Specialist, helping children to cope with procedures, the iPads are pure magic! Patients of all ages benefit from being able to play interactive games during procedures. "That's it? But, I didn't even feel it?", said a three year old who played an Elmo game during her procedure. When asked about the whether the iPad helps during procedures, an eleven year old patient responded, "The iPad helps a lot. I just think about the game and everything is easier!" I couldn't have it said it better myself. Thank you Go4theGoal for providing such amazing tools to enhance our ability to assist children in coping with procedures.
Go4theGoal donated 8 iPads, loaded with games and activities, to our Children's Blood & Cancer Center at Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin, TX. Our patients can be seen using these iPads on a daily basis and request and value this distraction during their long and short stays in our clinic. Go4theGoal has also provided financial assistance in several situations, a couple being urgent requests and even a unique request was fulfilled. We appreciate the generosity and assistance provided by Go4theGoal because they fulfill so many needs that other organizations do not offer. Thanks for all of the hard work and effort in helping meet the needs of children with cancer!
The depth of my gratitude to Go4theGoal is difficult to express. I was honored to recently win the Go4theGoal holiday essay contest which provided 412,500 worth of technology for the patients at the Diamond Children's Hospital in Tucson, AZ. With these funds I was able to purchase ipads, game systems, and other comforting and stimulating items for our young cancer patients. The items provided by Go4theGoal have brought comfort and joy to our patients and their families. Go4theGoal has been a constant source of support and compassion for our patients and our relationship with them has been a true blessing. Thank you Go4theGoal for your genuine kindness.
Go4TheGoal graciously donated Valentine's gift bags for 45 children living with cancer being treated at the Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware. Our kids LOVE the Pillow Pets! They are cheerful, fun and cozy. Everyday our kids show courage, strength and resilience through significant illness and harsh treatment. Something as simple as a Pillow Pet provides enormous comfort and joy. Every child smiled, giggled and snuggled. Happy Valentine's Day to the staff and volunteers at Go4TheGoal and Thank You Pillow Pets!

I have worked with the Go4theGoal foundation since I was in elementary school. I cherish every opportunity I have to work with these wonderful people. It's truly a rewarding experience because you get to see the fruits of your labor when you see the positive affect it has on children with cancer. The people at G4G are so selfless and so dedicated to the cause that it is truly edifying to observe and to be apart of. I'm so passionate about this charity as well as inspired by the people that I look forward to every opportunity I get to volunteer.
Goal4thegoal Foundation made it possible for our son to realize his dream to go on a cruise to the Bahamas with his family. Diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma in January, 2012, he endured surgeries and 22-week chemotherapy treatment program that lasted into July. As he went through treatment, Goal4thegoal responded with help that allowed our family to plan the cruise. This gave him a great incentive as he went through treatment, and in October he was able to step aboard the cruise ship in Port Canaveral. It was the trip of lifetime for him and our family, and we are grateful to Goal4thegoal for the memories we made together as we celebrated our son's successful treatment.
Go4theGoal assisted my family immediately following my son's diagnosis with ALL. Through their incredible volunteers, Austin was presented with an amazing gift that helped him get through his first few months of hospitalization with a smile! Their generosity continued during the holiday season, when gifts for our entire family appeared at our door. To provide these special gifts for everyone not only gave the children a lovely Christmas, but provided a beautiful reminderof the love and support surrounding them. Words cannot expess our gratitude to everyone at Go4the Goal!
I recently joined Go4thegoal's "Lace-Up for Pediatric Cancer" movement. I've been raising money by selling yellow shoelaces and have gotten a tremendous response from everyone I have reached out to. I recently got my college basketball team and our opponents to wear the laces for one of our games. It was amazing to be able to raise awareness and support Go4thegoal through the the Lace-Up movement. I'm so thankful to have joined this cause and help out families of children with cancer!

Go4theGoal is an AWESOME organization whose focuses is to help children and families battling cancer! They've helped so many of our patients and families on a personal level, providing much neede resources to so manyfamilies in need, helping our children complete online school during treatments, celebrate Christmas despite the financial difficulties our families face, and many, many more! Our annual "Day of Remembrance" has touched so many families lives thanks to Go4theGoal's assistance. We couldn't do all that we do without their exceptional help and people! Thank you for all you do!
Go4theGoal very generously helped one of our patients, who has a two year old with ALL, by sharing lots of holiday cheer. Thanks to G4tG, this family will be able to celebrate Christmas this year without financial hardship. Over the next few days this family will receive packages in the mail for each of their four children and G4tG did not leave out the parents either! Working with Beth at G4tG was a treat! She made this wonderful grant easy, seamless, and was incredibly passionate and caring about helping this family in any way G4tG could. Having organizations like this one makes the jobs of social workers in pediatric oncology just a little bit easier.
My son received a gift from Go4thegold last January while in the hospital batting Clear Cell sarcoma of the kidney. It helped boost his spirits and he continues to use this item every day. We are so grateful. The Colton family
My daughter recently received an amazing gift from Go 4 the Goal while she was hospitalized. I cannot express enough how amazing it is to see your child smile with pure joy after days of pain. This organization one of the best I have ever dealt with. They are doing amazing things for families faced with many hurdles.
Review from Guidestar
I have attended many functions and fund raisers with Go 4 the Goal foundation. This organization has given special attention to children with cancer. With the funds raised, they also help family members in need with personal problems. Promoting pediatric awareness is so very important. People are not aware of the outstanding job and hard work the staff and volunteers do.
Again this year cupcakes by carousel created a go 4 goal cupcake. We had 3 different fundraisers at the cupcake by carousel locations..Montclair.Englewood and Ridgewood. We also sold $1.00 donation cards to be put on the wall with the donators name..Blake Buffer a young cancer survivor was at the Ridgewood location.3 years ago she was under going treatments. We definitely raised more $ and awareness then last year and we hope to continue supporting this cause to fight against childhood cancers.
Go4theGoal has reached out to my grandson,11 years old who was diagnosed with cancer last year . Since they have given him an IPad he rigorously promotes Go4theGoal Foundation and what it has done for him. This organization is very important and necessary in making people aware of pediatric cancer and all the support and help they provide to families. They work very hard in running fundraisers, walk-a-thons, selling T-shirts and shoe laces, etc. "Go4theGoal" is truly the best foundation!!!
My high school soccer team was able to assist a young man move closer to his goal of raising $25,000 for pediatric cancer research and awareness through the Go 4 the Goal Foundation. This experience had a very positive influence on the young men that I coach. The players treated this young man like "one of the guys" when he came out to our annual night game where we were able to raise $1100 for this cause. Between the Go 4 the Goal Foundation website and staff, we were able to get all of the supplies we needed in a very timely manner to make our fundraising efforts that much easier. We will be Getting Laced Up for Pediatric Cancer again next season. Chris Foley - Head Coach - Lenape HS Boys Soccer
Having worked in schools for many years, I have come across many non-profit organizations who raise money to help children with cancer. Go4theGoal is an organization that far exceeds the others and truly merits a category all their own...true humanitarians. Go4theGoal tirelessly works to help children with cancer. In my opinion, Go4theGoal is one of the BEST non-profit organizations dealing with childhood cancers in the nation. From spreading awareness, to raising funds, helping families and patients, the staff at Go4theGoal strive to meet each and every need that comes their way. They are always going above and beyond to answer a call or a need. Always friendly, caring, they understand families and offer them that personal connection that other large non-profits can not offer. I can honestly say that every member of their staff and board are 100% dedicated to the cause. It is a privilege to sponsor fundraisers at my school to help them help others.
In the matter of seconds our lives were changed forever. December 27, 2012 our 13 year old son was diagnosed with a sarcoma in and around his distal tibia. It wasn't long before a group of friends found Go4theGoal and the LaceUp for pediatric cancer program. This program brought our community togther and made everyone feel as 1 in the fight against pediatric cancer. The support we have received from G4G and the Steffanaci family has helped get us through this difficult journey. The Go4theGoal team works tirelessly to bring pediatric cancer to the forefront and to help families and kids as they work through this diagnosis. We believe in the mission that G4G started and we will be there for years to come to help see that the word is spread, "help children with cancer achieve their goal" Our son is a true testament to this quote, he is doing great and is on his way to acheiveing his goals in life. Thank you G4G!!!!! The Garstkiewicz Family
