Friends of the Earth is an amazing organization, promoting awareness, protecting people, our food, water, pollinators, battling to keep fossil fuels in the Earth and holding governments and corporations accountable. Who really knew that Bees pollinate 70% of our crops? Who knew that my retirement system was using my money to invest Palm Oil, which is responsible for driving tropical deforestation and climate change? - This is why I am a member of FOE. I also really enjoy the Victory Updates and I share them with everyone I know, to show others that together, we can make a difference by supporting Friends of the Earth. I am so glad to be a member of this amazing organization. Through membership, I have learned much about the world around me - and the need is great! Together with Friends of the Earth, we do make a difference. The Earth needs Friends!
Friends of the Earth is my absolute favorite nonprofit because they are willing to fight globally for a world that puts people and planet above corporate profit. They fight for fair trade, clean water, and climate justice.
Friends of the Earth is a hardworking non profit which I support wholeheartedly. Its values in terms of taking care of the Earth are strong and principled.
It's not a political thing to want to reduce, to minimize and to have a goal of no pollution, and to drive the world economy with clean growth and clean jobs by researching and growing multiple methods of the sustainable production of energy. However, many world leaders, including our own, are choosing to ignore the need, the possibility and the responsibility of aggressively encouraging, funding and ushering in a whole new era of a cleaner existence for life on Earth. Friends of the Earth is one of several nonprofit organizations that focuses all of its' substantial recourses on issues and situations that are contrary to reducing and eventually eliminating the causes and effects of pollution. It is a no brainer to support their activities.
Friends of Earth champions such important causes every minute of every day that I rest easier at night knowing they are uncovering and righting injustices to our beautiful, fragile planet. They have literally dedicated their lives to protecting us and the planet wherever and whenever they can. The job must seem totally daunting, but their fortitude, nerve, and dedication never wavers.
I share the mission and vision of Friends of the Earth, and they have convinced that they are able to reach them. I believe in them and their work, I give to them on a monthly basis, and I warmly recommend them.
This is one of my favorite sites. They frequently have state of our country petitions to various environmental issues. They make it easy to participate at a personal level. You lobos if you give them a donationit will be well used.
Friends of the Earth is a fundamental organization that supports some of the most pressing issues of our time. Their approach is not as predictable on shock balue or guilt as other leading platforms.
I have been supporting Friends of the Earth for more than 20 years. As an effective protector of the planet, Friends of the Earth puts donations where they can be most effective. Funding is spent on demonstrating through popular and legal platforms, ways to support and protect our environment. RaIsing awareness of egregious threats to life on Earth, Friends of the Earth then unites with organizations with similar missions to protect vulnerable systems in a global system threatened by ignorance, poverty, and short-sighted corporate greed.
Most importantly, Friends of the Earth keeps its members and the public informed, seeking resolution go conflicts over the exploitation and use of our natural resources.
"Friends of the Earth" says it all. If you're a living, breathing, human you were born to be a friend of the earth. I support them in everything they do, because it's all so vital.
Friends of the Earth plays a critical role in our country - promoting environmental protections on the federal and state levels. As the executive director of the Maryland Pesticide Education Network, I have worked closely with the organization's staff. Our organization is very grateful for FoE's guidance and support which helped us in our successful efforts to pass two nationally ground-breaking Maryland pollinator protection laws in 2016 and 2017. Our organization has also become more involved in federal advocacy as a result of FoE's work on the Hill.
I am proud to help in whatever ways I can to get acknowledgement for wildlife and the ecosystem. Theses need to be addressed and put in the front so all can see what reckless damage can be done by those who do not, will not and just don't care - all in the name of corporate greed and money in their pockets. We must continue to fight injustice and Friends of the Earth is my pick because of their beliefs.
I have signed many petitions with Friends of the Earth. They are always trying to help bees, butterflies, and many others and I sign all of their petitions. I have donated as they do good work with the money given to them.
I think this is one of the best nonprofits because they do good, honest work and I don't feel
like they are a rip-off.
Friends of the Earth is a charity that I support. Because corporations own the United States and see that judges and members of Congress will always side with the corporation. That is the way it works.
So in order to get unbiased information that might just save the Earth, consider supporting Friends of the Earth. Remember, only God can make a tree, but a corporation can ruin a forest.
I give monthly to Friends of the Earth as they are as concerned as I am about our planet!!!
It is a fantastic organization dedicated to helping endangered species like bees!
Do give to them!!!
Friends of the Earth is a great charity that helps keep ordinary citizens updated on environmental issues. I especially like how easy they make it to be an advocate for animals and the environment.
This organization studies and targets actual legislation and corporate activity harmful to the environment. They do their homework.
