My business has partnered with FBR to raise funds to keep the program going. They are a group of extremely professional, dedicated, and philanthropic individuals who truly care about the work they do! I am very particular about the organizations that we support and FBR is definitely at the top of our list!
I adopted my Marlie from Fresno Bully Rescue a little over 7 years ago and she is amazing. They took her mom in as a stray through their foster care program until her puppies were able to be adopted. Their shelter is always clean, the staff easy to find, helpful and very knowledgeable. They do such an important job here in the valley educating people on the breed. Nothing but good things to say about FBR. Keep up the amazing work!
The Fresno Bully Rescue is an awesome, and desperately needed, save haven for pitties in the Central Valley. They are run completely on donations and volunteer efforts. They are constantly coming up with fun and creative fund raisers and have a huge following.
When we adopted our Angel (formerly Buttercup) from FBR in 2011, we fell in love with all of the amazing people at FBR. They have always been available to help us with any questions or issues we have had over the years; and we have since fostered 5 more fur-babies with their help and guidance, ultimately adopting 2 of them (our beloved Penelope in 2012 - formerly Genie - and most recently Saint in 2017). FBR is an amazing organization with the most knowledgeable and compassionate staff you will ever meet. I can't imagine our lives without everything FBR has done for us and all of the wonderful dogs they've saved.
Love what they do for this misunderstood breed of dogs! Pitts are beautiful animals I wish I could adopt them all!
They have wonderful staff and volunteers. I have always had a good experience when I have worked with them.
It's very difficult to put into words how amazing Fresno Bully Rescue is. There have been countless times where they have come to the Rescue and pulled Pit bulls from my shelter. Pit bulls that had no chance of being pulled by anyone else. I am so proud of the relationship that we have with them. They do amazing work and I can't wait for the next Pittie that is pulled from US. Thank you is just not enough. Thank you for giving our babies a second chance at life. I truly do love you all.
I've watched Fresno Bully Rescue grow from a small rescue to a group that has helped so many dogs and bought their own property through such hard work.
Hello, my name is Michael I’m 100% disabled veteran. I got my max little over 3 1/2 years ago. Since then my blood pressure is one down I’m off antidepressants and my overall attitude is way better all thanks to Fresno Bully rescue allowing me to rescue my little guy.
FBR took in my special needs foster after being abandoned by a defunct rescue. I am forever grateful.
Fantastic people working for a fantastic cause! I have been volunteering at Fresno Bully Rescue for 7 years and have always admired the passion and persistence the volunteers have and the care and attention they give to enrich the lives of the dogs. They take great care in ensuring that the dogs go to loving homes and work hard to educate the public about how fantastic these dogs truly are!
I love bully rescue, they truly love all there babies. I was a foster for awhile and they make sure you are the best for the pups. Love, love this place!!!
We have adopted 2 great dogs from FBR and we're so happy with the adoption process, the screening, the care they give their animals, and the impact they're making on the community!
After our dog passed away, we went to Fresno Bully Rescue to find a new member for our family. All the staff/volunteers were helpful and knowledgeable in helping us select and prepare for a dog. The dog we adopted far exceeded our expectations. He is a puppy but already had a great foundation in basic obedience and general household manners. He was crate trained, starting house training, and socialized. FBR was great throughout the process and we couldn't be happier with our new family member.
We have adopted three dogs from FBR and currently volunteer for them as well. We have stayed involved because of the staff's total involvement in protecting and educating the public on the true appreciation of this misunderstood breed. The facility is clean and well run and every dollar we contribute goes over 80% to the dogs care, education and rescue of bully breeds; they are monies we consider well-spent!
I learned of this rescue through my best friend who volunteers here. I took a chance and visited. The staff was really friendly and I received a tour of the facility along with introduction to several dogs; this was amazing because I went without an appointment and they went off what I was telling them.
None of the dogs I met seemed to meet my requirements. As I was leaving, a sweet little pitty of just two years walked in with a volunteer. She was white and brindle and instantly I had to have her. She was sweet, the perfect size for my home, and not too much energy that she’d feel like she was couped up. Two weeks later and she was mine and the rest is history.
The pitty breed has a bad name and it’s based solely on perception. This rescue does everything they can to rescue these
beautiful dogs, find them homes, and change the public perception. I will definitely return when it comes time to adopt another.
I adopted two of my best friends from FBR and can’t say enough wonderful things about them. They truly care about each dog and the home that they will be going in to. They worked hard at finding us the perfect fit for our family. Not only that, but they made sure we were fit to be a good “parent” to the dog chosen. They educated us and gave us all the tools for a successful adoption. We loved them so much that we adopted our second pup from them and will do so in the future as well. We love FBR❤️
I have been in the rescue of pitbulls since 2001. Fresno Bully Rescue is one of the most organized, highly professional and very productive organization for our breed. I have know of them forever and proud to be friends with one of the board members and also proud of doing an event with them soon. Shorty Rossi
I’ve been volunteering with FBR since 2010 and it’s an absolute labor of love. The rescue is dedicated to promoting the positives of the breed through community outreach, family focused events and breed education in many elementary and middle schools. Fresno Bully Rescue welcomes volunteers and it’s great to see multigenerational families come out and spend time with the dogs and have an active roll in training, shuttling for vet care and keeping the shelter running smoothly. I highly recommend checking out the rescue and going through orientation and becoming a part of an amazing place doing even more amazing things for the Bully breeds!
Fresno Bully Rescue helped us when we were at our lowest and trying to our part to help. I was out of work during the holiday season and my wife noticed a thin bully walking in traffic. We stopped the traffic and got him to the side safely. We tried calling animal control but due to the holiday they did not have the staff and would only dispatch if he was dangerous. So we took him home for what we thought would be the weekend. Now weeks down the road and through a couple different organizations and with friends and family were able to foster him until FBR had a space open to take him in. Within a week they were able to find him a furever home. FBR truly has a heart for bullies and you can see that in their passion and dedication. Thank you Fresno Bully Rescue for loving these fur babies so intensely.
