I thought I was passionate about French Bulldogs, and then I met the pawesome folks at the French Bulldog Rescue Network! Their passion and love for this breed of dogs is inspiring. Through FBRN I have made some amazing friends and met some amazing dogs. This great group of people is so tremendously knowledgeable about the breed, and so dedicated to the safety and well being of the dogs they work with. I'm very proud to call myself a volunteer!
The French Bulldog Rescue Network has been an amazing organization to volunteer for. I got involved with FBRN after adopting my first French Bulldog from them in 2009.
I've found FBRN to be one of the most well-organized animal rescue groups of it's kind. The volunteers are very knowledgeable about the health and special needs of French Bulldogs, and they are always excited and willing to help educate others - both new volunteers and potential adopters. The dedication FBRN's volunteers exhibit is astounding - they live & breath French Bulldogs and are always looking for new ways to be better pet owners, be better rescue advocates, and even better mentors within the dog rescue community.
I have been volunteering for FBRN for three years now and am very proud of the work I've done with them. I've been able to share my professional skills to help raise awareness and money, as well as engage our volunteers and sponsors with exciting fundraisers and events. I've had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing potential adopters who want to adopt a French Bulldog of their very own. I've made new professional friendships by partnering with rescue-loving companies to support our organization. I've thoroughly enjoyed actually rescuing frenchies in need by transporting them to safety or fostering them within my home. And one of the wonderful perks of volunteering for the French Bulldog Rescue Network has been making new friends across the US, Canada, and in my own community - both volunteers and adoptive families.
I highly recommend FBRN as an organization to volunteer with, and also to adopt a French Bulldog from.
