Mission: FIT – Foundation for an Independent Tomorrow provides job training, coaching, and support based on job seekers’ individual needs and the skills employers tell us they are looking for. FIT graduates get jobs, and employers get great results. FIT works!
Target demographics: Individuals seeking employment to gain independence
Direct beneficiaries per year: 1400
Geographic areas served: Las Vegas
Programs: Foundation for an Independent Tomorrow (FIT) helps people transform their lives through career training, coaching, and support—built around the real needs of job seekers and the hiring demands of today’s employers. When participants succeed, employers benefit, and our entire community grows stronger.
We offer two key programs:
One supports individuals with criminal backgrounds as they reenter the workforce with confidence and purpose.
The other helps those who are unemployed or underemployed gain the skills, resources, and direction to build lasting careers and break the cycle of poverty.
For clients, FIT is a path to opportunity.
For donors, it’s an investment in second chances and a stronger workforce.
FIT works—because we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to work toward a better future.

Ashley bless your soul! I was really about to give up because due to my age I feel like many times employers look over me but Ashley really talked some sense into me and helped me with my confidence. I have a background in healthcare and she suggested certified nursing assistant training. At first I wasn’t sure but after looking up some job posting I thought it didn’t sound too bad. I’ve been employed now for 3 months since I graduated as a certified nurse assistant and I absolutely love it. I work with people with disabilities and although it can be challenging at times it’s so rewarding. Ashley checks on me pretty often. I think that’s so nice she didn’t just forget about me. Overall wow I’m so thankful for this program.
