EESI gives the most balanced, useful, complete and relevant information on topics concerning the environment and energy. I use their fact sheets and white papers all the time for my work within these fields. EESI is the Go To organization.
EESI does an outstanding job of keeping me informed on the great challenges affecting our environment - especially those relating to energy efficiency, renewable energy, and climate change. EESI's numerous briefings, fact sheets, and policy papers are invaluable to me: I turn to their materials first when I need substantive and concise information regarding these issues. I give the organization five stars for its great work.
This bi-partisan think tank serves the public by providing important information in the climate change area. The briefings are held in a venue so that Congressional staff can attend and then they are broadcast to the public. This is a very important organization!
EESI is broad. You reach across aisles, you reach across disciplines, you reach across time. But you're also deep. You do amazing analytics to support legislation that is pending. You've worked on the Clean Air Act, the Farm Bill, climate change, air pollution... on an amazing breadth of stuff
It was great! Everyone is well versed. The Environmental and Energy Study Institute (EESI) holds a wide range of great things. This is what makes it great! I am so greatly happy to have participated in one of the great events held by the great Environmental and Energy Study Institute (EESI). How great this was.
I had the pleasure of volunteering with EESI for three months. For such a small organization, EESI is unique in its ability to address a wide range of topics in its articles, fact sheets, and briefings. EESI is unmatched in its understanding of comprehensive, objective climate and energy solutions and its capacity to educate both government officials and the general public. EESI's degree of professionalism, policy knowledge, and dedication to its mission is exceptional. I highly recommend EESI!
I strongly recommend EESI as a very useful and important source of inspiration for sustainability and energy efficiency. A well of good information and a great arranger of important briefings that will help us and our planet to keep climate change inside recommended limits. We need more nonprofit organisations and groups to help in this critical work.
This organization works tirelessly to promote and support efforts to protect the integrity of our environment.
They do this in a strategic and unique way: by addressing and relating to powers in the education, policy, legislative and industrial sectors.
Further, they address multiple areas of impact and influence: power generation, transportation, agriculture, and finance.
I'm delighted to give them my highest rating.
State Program Director, The NEED Project
I am just beginning my career in working with climate change and how it relates to public health issues. I had the opportunity to view the briefing, "Climate Impacts in the Midwest: Becoming More Resilient."
This briefing was very well organized and included speakers addressing many different aspects of climate change, including city planning and efficiency of energy use. The information given was very practical and easy to understand, even for a beginner as myself.
I was very impressed.
Thank you, Linda! Glad to hear it was so helpful. Please join us again for another briefing.
The EESI hosts programs on the Hill that are among the most informative and timely of the many I am privileged to attend in DC. The EESI's overall goal is to provide the results of up-to-date, reliable research to legislators, their staffs, and to the general public. The topics are generally related to issues having to do with the environment -- how we use it, manage it, extract what we want from it, and are pushing it to its limits. Over the years, the programs have been more and more concerned with climate change and its impact on the sustainability of the earth and its resources. I especially appreciate EESI because the presenters are usually people with practical, on the ground experience in the area under discussion, whether it is protecting our national historic landmarks from the ravages of drought and flood, or developing innovative ways to adapt to changes in our relationship to the land that are the inevitable legacy of the scale of atmospheric change we are facing.
Thanks so much for your comments and suggestions!
Before working with EESI, I had very limited knowledge of environmental and policy issues. However, with their informative Congressional briefings, and non-partisan articles and fact sheets, I feel more educated on these issues as a whole. For such a small staff, EESI is able to cover a lot of ground, and they are good at what they do. I am happy to have been given the privilege of working for this organization.
Thanks for interning with us. We appreciate all your hard work on advancing clean energy policies. We couldn't do it without volunteer interns like you.
EESI does a great job informing Congress on innovative sustainable solutions. It is a reliable and compelling source of information for policy makers while working with local communities to achieve a greener future. And they do a great job at it!
As a member of the general public, I did not know much about environmental issues until I came across EESI. Their materials were easily digestible, and I did not feel like there was any particular slant in their presentation of the facts. The fact sheets were very helpful, and I feel like I am more educated about environmental problems as a result. I looked into EESI's congressional activities as well, and I was pleased by their honest efforts to affect policy decisions.
EESI is a great resource for anyone interested in environmental and energy issues. Before I became involved in the organization, I regularly attended their Congressional briefings and the annual Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Expo. One thing that makes this organization unique is the wide breadth of issues it covers--for a small staff size, EESI is able to cover a large number of relevant topics, making the organization an asset for both Hill staffers and NGOs. The fact sheets, issue briefs, and newsletters are also especially helpful and I have been able to use them as a resource in both professional and academic settings.
Producing non-partisan information about current climate news to the public as well as Congress is important work and I think EESI plays an invaluable role in the nation's environmental and energy industry.
EESI does an excellent work in providing reliable and up-to date knowledge on the hill and to the public about environmental and energy issues.
EESI produces an incredible amount of reliable, up-to-the-moment information for the public and policymakers (astounding amount for its staff size!). It is my essential go-to for issues involving the environment and climate change. I'm so grateful this organization is here to educate, inform, and provide the unbiased, scientific information people of all political parties and perspectives. Nothing gets lost in the weeds with them - their mission and dedication to evidence is clear in everything they do.
After working with EESI over the past year, I have constantly been astounded by the amount of excellent work they are able to provide Congress with the limited staffing resources they are granted. They are an excellent non-profit and partner to work with. They are an extremely passionate and driven group that makes sure Congress is informed and up to date about any and all energy and environmentally related issues. I look forward to continue working with them in the future!
