EESI gives the most balanced, useful, complete and relevant information on topics concerning the environment and energy. I use their fact sheets and white papers all the time for my work within these fields. EESI is the Go To organization.
EESI's Sustainable Bioenergy, Farms, and Forests newsletter is an excellent end-of-week summary of the most timely and relevant topics with the potential to positively and negatively impact bioenergy and other clean technology development and deployment. In addition to capturing important headlines, EESI adds their own perspective to important issues and helps to frame the concerns with fact-based information. This outreach tool is a valuable mechanism for building awareness.
EESI supports their policy analysis with scientific basis. Their briefings are excellent tools for educating decision-makers and the public in general.
I attended to see where colleges and cities are innovating in power generation and conservation. The speakers were wonderfully chosen to provide a broad perspective on methods of achieving power at the lowest cost and least carbon footprint. They were articulate and passionate about their subject and I left with a greater appreciation of how microgrids can help in capacity shortfalls.
The staff at EESI are some of the brightest and most hard-working people I've ever met. EESI is committed towards their mission of providing nonpartisan information to the public and policymakers and they do it with gusto. I feel very lucky to have been able to work alongside them for a brief period of time.
During my summer as an intern for EESI, I was able to learn about the most interesting environmental topics of the day, from renewable energy, to energy efficiency, to sustainable communities, to climate change. Every member of the staff was incredibly knowledgeable about all of these issue areas, and I was extremely impressed by the ability of EESI's relatively small staff to have such a far-reaching impact in the environmental policy world, through their events, web articles, white papers, and weekly newsletters. All of EESI's work truly is helping to advance a more sustainable world.
EESI puts on great events to bring together industry, non-profit, government, and academics in the renewable energy industry. It plays a vital role and has a much higher profile than many other non-profits in this space.
I Like Very Much Because is Top Solid Platform, on a Easy Simple Way, Well Done.
EESI is one of the organizations devoted to the environment and energy issues that is very careful not to make the information they present partisan or inject politics into its information. The organization does not demonize but focuses on expertise for how to make changes without affecting affordability and reliability. I read their material, attend their briefings relatively often and have changed my conclusions and deepened my understanding as the result of their work. They are one of the few "adults" in this particular policy space. Their budget is modest and carefully administered but they have an impact on informing public policy that far exceeds their size. I have watched them work for many years and their consistency of focus on their mission has not changed.
The information shared by EESI is very relevant to understanding current issues, concerns and upcoming events. It is one of my favourite e-letters.
EESI is my go-to source for environmental and energy updates, information, and opportunities. It is the most comprehensive weekly coverage, as well as totally reliable and in-depth analysis, covering government (White House, agencies, Congress, and courts), private, and nonprofit sectors, as well as partnerships among the sectors.
