Edward Agyemang-Prempeh Jr., a second year Electrical/Electronic Engineering student of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana, West Africa, and a beneficiary of the Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship programme.

Being a beneficiary of the esteemed scholarship scheme for over a year now, I am proud to say I can call this Organization a family. The stakeholders involved have made sure I am groomed to be the best version of myself.

Throughout the time I've been on this scholarship, they have done their best to train me for the cooperate world. Various lessons and mentorship sessions on how to relate with others in the field of work we might find ourselves have been organized for us. They organize meetings to empower every member of the family to give our best in all that we do especially in our academic endeavours. I have been educated on very vital topics such as time management, creativity, collaboration and adaptability, all of which are meant to prepare me for the corporate world. This has helped me to realize how to see the world not only for what it is, but also for what it could become.

EPI is a great family to be with. Throughout the ups and downs we face, they have tried the best they can to support us both financially and emotionally. For that, I appreciate them a lot and I hope and pray that the Good Lord takes the whole family to greater heights.

My name is Edward Agyemang-Prempeh Jr. a first year Electrical/Electronic Engineering student of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Ghana, West Africa, and a beneficiary of the Educational Pathways International (EPI).

In 2018, after my WASSCE, I had no hope of making it into and through the University due to financial constraints of my mother, a single parent. She advised that I stayed home and made proper preparation for school the next year. Though this suggestion seemed to be the best option, I knew I wanted to achieve more and that option could not fit into my plans.

I therefore encouraged her to get a loan to purchase my admission forms for KNUST.
I started to seek ways of funding my tertiary education. I made enquiries about the various scholarships that were available to me. I applied for EPI scholarship as well as several others. I gained admission to offer BSc. Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

I was called for interviews with EPI and after a competitive interview sessions, I was awarded a full scholarship for my four years university education. I am glad that I am part of this wonderful family and the huge financial burden on my single mother has been reduced. I have a free mind to study well and get best grades throughout my four years in the university.

EPI organises meetings/seminars to empower every member of the family to give our best in all that we do in our academic endeavours. Life on campus, social life and also in the corporate world when I graduate. I have been educated on very vital topics such as time management, creativity, collaboration, persuasiveness and adaptability, which comprises of five social skills that employers seek. These and many more are meant to prepare me for the corporate world.

Since I joined EPI, I have realized that there's still hope for the hopeless and help for the needy. I am very grateful to EPI for giving me a chance to be a part of this wonderful family. It's been a great experience being with this family and I do not intend on leaving them anytime soon. EPI for life.

My name is Francis Okyere. I am a second year Medical student at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana.

More often than not I used to be ‘haunted’ by the thought of not being able to complete school and hence unable to achieve my goals because of financial constraint. It was one of my greatest fears until I heard the above-mentioned school make an announcement of a scholarship opportunity from Educational Pathways International (EPI) to brilliant and needy students. I had not yet applied, I had not yet been granted scholarship, but I could feel a part of this ‘haunt’ was over because the mere fact that some people somewhere were seeking for brilliant and needy students like me to support was encouraging and inspiring. I applied in September 2019 and fortunately I was granted the opportunity of a full scholarship, in October 2019, to continue with my untiring studies without having to worry about the financial needs.

Now, I feel a true sense of peace – an inner peace, and utmost concentration on my academics and I literally have fun studying! I have also been more inspired in my field of study. I chose to do Medicine because I just cannot see myself doing any other thing. Medicine itself is an inspiration to me. Hearing the word ‘medicine’, seeing patients, seeing anatomical diagrams, hearing the name of drugs, and even the smell of a hospital! I am literally in love with Medicine. After my 6-year medical training, I will proceed to have a 2-year housemanship here in Ghana after which I intend furthering my education to specialise as a Neurosurgeon.

In my short period of being with the EPI family, we have had one general meeting and through this meeting, I have learnt the basic principles I need to know in writing a curriculum vitae. I am very hopeful I will learn great new skills during our upcoming general meetings when school resumes after its temporary closure and also meet and interact with EPI family because they are very disciplined, focused, and provide a sense of belonging. I simply feel at home with other EPI beneficiaries. EPI is indeed a family!

I am so grateful to Educational Pathways International for such a great honour. ‘Thank you’ are two small words but have a deeper meaning. I want to seize this opportunity to say ‘Thank you’ to EPI and long live this family!

I am Raphael Amankwaa, a first-year Law student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana. I completed Diaso senior high school, a less endowed school. Coming from a poor background when there was no hope, Educational Pathways International (EPI) has given me hope and impacted greatly on my education since my first semester 2019/2020 academic year.

It is a great privilege to write on the general impact of Educational Pathways International scholarship (EPI) on my life and how it has tremendously changed my educational life and given me hope for my dreams.

To commence with, EPI has influenced my education positively, this is because prior to my enrollment on EPI scholarship, I used to spend a lot of my time thinking about how to get funds to support my education. However, with EPI, I am able to annexed and channel these time to my education. EPI has relieved me of the daily stress as to how to gather money to acquire my basic educational needs, now with EPI my tuition fees and other educational needs are met. Also, being on the EPI scholarship has also helped given hope to my dreams, goals and aspiration.

I offered to study Law with the intent of being a Lawyer in the near future to be able to assist the needy, poor and voiceless who for some reasons are unable to access justice in our country and also to contribute my quota to my community and Ghana as a whole. This dream of mine almost faded until it was rekindle by EPI. I must reiterate that EPI did not only give hope to my dreams but it has created the assurance that these goals of mine could be achieved.

Aside the educational benefit, I have been equipped with various leadership skills and life experiences which are not entrenched in our educational system. These skills however in effect will contribute to my overall wellness in the society as I advance in life. The acquisition of these skills was made possible through the various meetings and seminars I have attended since I joined EPI.

I would like to use this opportunity to express my profound gratitude to the Educational Pathways International for their support and sponsorship to my education and my overall wellbeing.

Richard K. Abeetinso is my name. I am studying Bachelor of Commerce (Finance Option), I am in my final year at the University for Development Studies (UDS) in the northern part of Ghana, and I live in Nator in the Upper West Region of Ghana.
After losing my parents years ago, going through the educational ladder was burdensome. It made me to stay with my uncle who sadly died when I enrolled into the University-UDS. Educational Pathways International (EPI) had rescued me from a lot of financial difficulties as it provides me with funds for fees, feeding, lodging, books and others. I used to sacrifice academic work to do petty jobs in order to fend for myself in school, all these are things of the past now as these have been taken care of by EPI.
I have passion for community development as well as Ghana, this made me aspire to become a Financial Accountant in the future. For a country to grow, high sense of integrity and accountability is needed to develop the financial sector which will lead to sustainable development of communities and the country as a whole. Mentorship programs organized by EPI can never be overlooked. Seminars and meetings are organized by EPI to guide us in career paths. These programs motivate me as a student and also serve as a guide in my career path as I can envisage my goal to be a Financial Accountant being realised through the empowerment of EPI and its related organised programs.
In fact, I will endeavor to introduce EPI to other students as well as contributing my quota to the activities of EPI when the need arises. EPI has ignited hope in the hopeless, I will hold the banner of EPI in veneration. EPI has touched my life enormously and I will endeavour to touch others by contributing to EPI when I have completed my program in the university.
Technically, EPI is my parent since I lost my parents years ago. I receive almost everything ranging from financial support, mentorship or career guidance, and among others from this organization.
EPI had paved a practical path for the well-being of needy but brilliant students. Thank you to all stakeholders of EPI!

I am Charles Sambo, a final year BSc. Nursing student of the University for Development Studies, Ghana. I joined this noble family, Educational Pathways International (EPI) in the 2017/2018 academic year and since then my life has never been the same. Before I got enrolled on this great opportunity of being a beneficiary of this scholarship, life in the university was so though that I felt like giving up, since I couldn’t pay my school fees neither to talk about my accommodation fee but Educational Pathways International put a smile on my face and brought me hope again.

My dream of becoming a Nurse wouldn’t have seen light if not for the intervention of Educational Pathways International scholarship. I am now in my final year which in the next few months I would come out as a professional Nurse. My major academic goal is that one day I would become a Cardiologist which has already begun with me having a degree in Nursing. Educational Pathways International has always kept me moving and aspiring for higher goals.

The scholarship has done a lot for me for the past years, in that I have been able to pay all my school fees, accommodation fees, purchase the necessary books on time which has relieved me of the stress and depression I used to go through to get my fees paid. I was also given stipend for my feeding and upkeep on campus. These have improved my studies and performance as well.

Also, since my enrollment on this scholarship, I have been exposed to a lot of extracurricular activities through seminars as a way of preparing me for the job market. Through those seminars, I have come to the realization that I need not to be employed by the government before I start life but I can be self-employed through the entrepreneurial skills I have been exposed to by EPI Program Director. EPI seminars have also impacted my life in the area of time management which is a key ingredient to the success of every endeavor one finds himself or herself doing. In the area of preparing me for the job market, I have also been exposed to how to write a correct curriculum vitae (CV) to meet the requirement of employers.

The financial constraints in the family did not only affect my educational life but also that of my siblings, but with the support of EPI my parents have being able to start some business which they use to support the young ones after me. The fear that some would have to terminate their education for lack of money to pay fees is not spoken of in the family anymore since my enrolment on EPI scholarship programme. EPI has always brought us hope when all hope was lost. In no time I would become a fully trained Nurse and being part of the working force, I can also support my younger siblings into higher educational institution.

One of my greatest desire is that one day in future I would be able to put up a clinic where the people in my community can access quality healthcare.

My educational life would not have come this far if not for the massive support of EPI. I cannot tell my story without mentioning EPI as the key contributor to fulfilling my career goal. I really appreciate this massive support and I pray that the Lord bless you even as you continue to put smiles on the faces of the less privilege ones like me. Long live Educational Pathways International. Thank you.

There is a saying that, if you think education is expensive then try ignorance. But a big thanks to Educational Pathways International (EPI) for coming to salvage me. EPI is a non- profit making Organization that recognizes, supports and empowers gifted young people from families of need through a comprehensive university education scholarship enabling them to develop their talents and make a positive impact in their home country.
Charles Sambo is my name a second year Nursing student of the University for Development Studies and currently a beneficiary of Educational Pathways International (EPI). I enrolled on EPI in the 2017/2018 academic year and this has totally transformed my entire life in the university. Life in the university happens to be like walking through the lion’s den. The financial constraint myself and my family were going through was too much that giving up was the only option.
When all hope was lost and we could not see any light at the end of the tunnel, EPI came to my rescue. I am so grateful to EPI for the tremendous package, full scholarship that is worth enough to pay all my fees, accommodation, books and extra money for my upkeep. Today I am happy because I have been able to pay all the debts I was owing the school. I can now sit among the other students who find it less difficult to finance their education and have a sound mind for studies with no fear of being sacked. I have also secured for myself an accommodation in a hostel which has saved me from the practice of perching with a friend. I can now claim ownership of a brand-new laptop which I use to do most of my studies. I am also grateful for the mentorship and words of encouragement which have had an impact on my academic performance.

Not forgetting the stress my family has gone through some years now just to finance my education, I want to show my appreciation to Educational Pathways International for bringing hope to my entire family. Now I don’t look onto my parents to finance my education. I have also been able to provide some money to support my mum’s kenkey business which she can use to cater for my younger siblings. The name ‘Educational Pathways International’ will not depart from my mouth since I cannot narrate my life story without mentioning EPI.
Today my greatest aspiration of becoming a Registered General Nurse, which will serve as a stepping stone into higher levels in my life is well assured since I have no financial difficulties regarding my training as a Nurse, contributing to the well- being of my community and the country as a whole.
As part of my dreams I want to end up as a Medical Doctor, where I can specialize as a Cardiologist seeking the well-being of people with medical problems related to the heart. Achieving this goal will enable me establish my own personal hospital, where people can access health. I am very happy to be part of a family like this where all what it takes to become what I aspire to be is assured through the financial support and mentorship.
It is therefore my wish and prayer that Educational Pathways International continues to be in existence to bring hope to hopeless Ghanaian students like me to realized their hidden potentials. Long live the Lafrance family, long live EPI, long live Ghana. Thank you.

I became a beneficiary of the Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship program last year, November, 2019. The scholarship seeks to help gifted students who are in serious financial need, of whom I am one. My name is Solomon Awiagah a second year student of University for Development Studies offering Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science.

EPI has transformed my life as quick as possible. What makes me feel more comfortable with the EPI scholarship program is the fact that not only my financial needs have been met but my social and moral life have been impacted as well. I receive every guidance and necessary advice that would help me to achieve my dream from EPI. My studies have improved greatly after I became a member of the EPI family. My school fees have been paid and also bought my books through the scholarship fund. I now have a hostel on campus and this has reduced my lateness to lectures. I used to stay about twenty kilometers off campus. This fund has helped some of my siblings in their education.
EPI has given me an enabling environment to share whatever problem I encounter. EPI is actually a family and I am very proud to be a member of this family.

The EPI family in my school meets three times in every academic year for general meeting and seminars. During these meetings a lot of things are taught and learnt. I have learnt a lot of things within this short time that I have joined this wonderful meeting. I also learnt how to associate with people of different characters.

I express my sincere gratitude to EPI for changing my life so quickly. I pray that God would restore what you spend on us in abundance.

My dream is to become a responsible adult to society upon graduation. I would contribute towards the development of my community. I would help other students who are also needy and gifted to achieve their dreams. I want to specialize as a chemical Pathologist upon graduation. I believe strongly that with EPI I would achieve all these dreams.

I thank EPI once again for transforming my life completely.

With many years of benefiting from Educational Pathways International (EPI), I feel so delighted to always attest to the wonderful works of EPI.
My name is Solomon A. Akotiah, a fifth year Medical student of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMHS) of the University for Development Studies (UDS) in Tamale, Ghana, West Africa.
I was fortunate to join EPI in 2016 when I was in my second year in the medical school after meeting the requirements and passing an interview. Ever since, EPI has been my financial supporter up till now. I am able to pay my school fees, accommodations and buy some of my books from the yearly sponsorship I get from EPI and some money for upkeep at school.
In addition to the financial support EPI offers me yearly, I am offered mentorship programs usually in general meetings with my fellow beneficiaries from UDS by EPI officials. In these mentorship sessions, I get the opportunity to be taught very important extracurricular topics and these meetings afford me the chance to learn a lot from EPI and also get to interact with other beneficiaries in different fields of study.
The financial support together with the knowledge and skills I get from EPI have helped and is still helping me immensely. I am able to study more comfortably and relate well with other people. My academic performances have particularly improved over time.
I am positive that with the continuous support from EPI, I will continue to work assiduously to achieve my ambition of not just becoming a Medical Doctor, but one who will contribute immensely to improving the health of my community people and Ghana as a whole by contributing to, if not leading, health research breakthroughs in Ghana and beyond in the future.
I am and is still working to be that role model that the young folk from my community will look up to and study hard to be better persons for themselves and our society.
If I had not gotten EPI scholarship, funding my studies in Medical school up till now would have been extremely difficult if not impossible. I am therefore always grateful to Educational Pathways International for the sponsorship, I really appreciate them.
I pray and hope that EPI continues to exist and function to support us and other needy students from all over Ghana and of various programs of study in all other tertiary institutions. God bless EPI!

My name is Solomon Apateba Akotiah, a fourth year medical student of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMHS) of the University for Development Studies (UDS) in Tamale, Ghana.
I joined the scholars of the Educational Pathways International (EPI) in 2016. Ever since, EPI has taken responsibility of my school fees, accommodation, books and other expenses related to my educational training and upkeep in the medical school. These would otherwise have been a very big challenge for me and my mother.
Joining EPI family has afforded me the chance to undertake my studies and community works, which is a component of the University’s third trimester, with ease and peace of mind.
Aside the financial benefit that I get from EPI, opportunities are created for me to meet with and interact with fellow scholars and leaders. Programmes as part of the meetings include seminars to train us on judicious and effective use of time in our studies and entrepreneurship. These trainings have further made me to better manage my time well and broadened the scope of my future aspirations to include entering into business.
Thus far, I have made good strides in my academic work and still hope, with the support and guidance from EPI, I will realize my primary academic goal of graduating from the medical school with excellent performances and proceed into various careers related and otherwise to medicine. I strongly aspire to practice as a Clinician and possibly lecture too. These intentions are largely motivated by my zeal to join hands with those who are already in the health sector to fight diseases and improve health care delivery in my community and Ghana as a whole. An opportunity to train others by way of lecturing or doing research would further bring more health related knowledge to many.
For the impact EPI has made on my education, I intend to give back a great deal of service to my village and Ghana as a whole. This would be by way of providing regular health services in the form of health screenings and surgeries to my village and district and also accepting to work at any part of Ghana. The intent of this goes beyond the health benefit to the people to include motivating the young ones to take their studies serious so that they could become like me.
These ideas and dreams have come to mind because EPI has given me that support that I need to make them a reality. I therefore appreciate EPI for their great contribution to giving me hope that my future aspirations are a possibility. Thank you everyone at EPI and God bless EPI!

Educational Pathways International (EPI) is a non-governmental Organization that provides scholarship to gifted and needy university students in Ghana to enable them go through their tertiary education successfully and develop their talents to make impact on their societies and the nation as a whole. EPI currently offer full scholarship to gifted and needy Ghanaian students in some of the public universities in Ghana, University for Development Studies (UDS), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and the University of Ghana (Legon).

As a first year student and a beneficiary of this scholarship, I would like to express the impacts of this scholarship. From the financial support I received, I was able to pay my school fees and accommodation fees, acquire the necessary books I need for my studies with much ease and stipend for my upkeep on campus. As a result, my parents and I do not worry about fees anymore. A huge burden has been taken away from the shoulders of my parent and now, I have a sound mind to study and develop my numerous talents. Besides, I have been able to afford a laptop which I never had until I was granted the EPI scholarship, and has made my studies and building of my ICT skills easier.

The mentorship aspect of the scholarship is widening my scope of thinking about tertiary education and life as a whole. I have realized that, being at the tertiary level of education goes beyond academic work but every aspect needed to improve one’s way of life and hence I must work harder. Many are other benefits I enjoy from EPI scholarship but cannot tell all because of time.

With this opportunity, I say a very big thank you to the founders and management of Educational Pathways International and I really appreciate their effort to improve the socio-economic status of Ghana by helping to educate gifted and needy young Ghanaian university students.

I would also like to beseech all non-governmental organizations and philanthropists who would have the opportunity to read this review that, there are many gifted and needy children in the numerous rural areas in Ghana and Africa who need their interventions in order to climb their education lather. My name is Polibu Amos, a final year Medical student of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana. I got admission to further my education at KNUST Medical School six years ago at a time the financial crisis in my family was unimaginable. I was a hopeless boy with a precarious future, but thanks to Educational Pathways International (EPI) for their timely intervention.

I chose to do Medicine because I intend to make a significant impact as our country still lack adequate number of Doctors.

I became a beneficiary of EPI scholarship six years ago and my whole life has never been the same. EPI gave me a sense of belongingness for it is a family away from home since my first year. EPI does not only support me financially, but has improved all facets of my life. Through EPI, I have met a lot of new people and other gifted beneficiaries of EPI that have helped improved my social skills. I have had the opportunity of being guided as to how to overcome challenges in life and achieve my aspirations. The care and counselling given to me by our EPI Director, Auntie Eunice, while in school has made my life on campus so easy. As a beneficiary I have also had the privilege of attending leadership seminars that have impacted my life immensely. These numerous experiences bring out a striking difference between EPI and other scholarship schemes. EPI does not only give financial support to students, but it serves to unify us, enlighten us, broaden our scope about life and shape us into becoming better people someday.

More so, I have learnt a great deal about giving back to society no matter how small it may be. The vacation internships that I did made me realize that I do not have to be influential before I change, or solve societal problems and change the lives of others. This is an experience that will make us think and care about society when we become better people one day. It has been a blessing and an awesome experience since I joined this great family. My hope of being an Orthopaedic Surgeon is almost realized and I intend to give massively back to my society as much as I can.

I am forever grateful to EPI. God bless the benefactors of EPI, all the sponsors, donors and team of EPI.
Long live EPI

EPI does not only give financial support to students, but it serves to unify us, enlighten us, broaden our scope about life and shape us into becoming better people someday.
More so, I have learnt a great deal about giving back to society no matter how small it may be. The vacation internships that I do makes me realize that I do not have to be influential before I change solve societal problems and change the lives of others. This is an experience that will make us think and care about society when we become better people one day. It has been a blessing and awesome experience since I joined this great family. EPI has really transformed my life and the lives of many others. I am forever grateful to EPI because my dream of being not just a Medical Doctor but a Cardiologist is now feasible. God bless the team of EPI.
Long live EPI.

My name is Abdul Baak Braimah. I am a second year Biochemistry student at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana. I am a proud beneficiary of the Educational Pathways International (EPI) Scholarship which has help me in a number of ways.

Educational Pathways International has made me paid full attention to my studies by giving me a comprehensive scholarship and I am now stable in school. It has also provide a chance for me to undertake an industrial internship during vacations. This is because at first I had to engage myself in petty business while school was in session and also during vacations before I could pay my academic fees and other basic needs for my education. These were interrupting my studies and my vocational internships since the work I was doing was not permitting me to be stable in school to concentrate on my studies and was also not allowing me to take part in an industrial internships during vacations. Thanks to EPI, I have now moved from the level of a brilliant student to the level of most brilliant student ever since that barrier to my studies was removed by their financial support.

Beside the financial assistance that I am benefiting from this organization, their regular skill trainings that I have been passing through, including topics on Curriculum Vitae writing, Interview Rehearsals and Entrepreneurship Education among the few that I have attended, has transformed my life a lot ever since I became a member of this great family making me have confidence that I am well prepared enough to face the job market.

My dream of becoming an Industrial Biochemist, capable of producing a wide range of agriculture and industrial products and nontoxic chemicals to transform my community and Ghana in general, is now being realized with the help of the Educational Pathways International scholarship.

I do and will always appreciate all the benefits that I am enjoying from this organization.

Long live Educational Pathways International!
Long Live Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology!!
Long live mother Ghana!!!

When I sit back to reminisce, I am contented with how far I have come in my education. Back in the days I never imagined myself at a level like this in education because of hardship and inability to afford the fees of any tertiary institution in my country. Even more contented do I become when I recount how enjoyable the journey has been so far. I am Justin, Kono Andaarah, a fourth year Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science student in the University for Development Studies, Ghana.
I have been a dreamer and well-wisher of my community. I wanted to see my community enjoy the best of health care one day and I had thought of being the pioneer in bringing that day to the community. Though gloomy was the way when I was due for tertiary education, it all has been the intervention of Educational Pathways International (EPI). Educational Pathways International gave me a reason to smile at a time I could only grieve the apparent helplessness of my education.
Educational Pathways International gives me financial assistance and it does not end there. I am mentored, encouraged and guided in my academic activities and my whole campus life. Educational Pathways International also gives me extracurricular education that will help me prepare adequately for my career and social life. I see my dreams, they are still lit. Thanks to Educational Pathways International and its donors.

Education, I think and indeed is the backbone for development. The educational background of the populace of countries mainly account for their development and headway in health, education, science and technology, finance, agriculture and security. It is in this light that Educational Pathways International (EPI) makes its impact: giving brilliant and gifted and financially needful students an opportunity to have university education.

I first got to know about Educational Pathways International from a newsletter I received from scholarshippositions.com. As someone who was at a critical point of my education and in dying need of support to continue my education, I read keenly and carefully to assess my eligibility. When I realized I was eligible, I rushed to check the institutions Educational Pathways International supported students. I was glad that my school, University for Development Studies was captured. I quickly started my application process.
With my encounter during the application process at Educational Pathways International, the selection process is well planned and executed on good and high standards.

I am Justin, Kono Andaarah, a third year Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science student of University for Development Studies. Apart from financial support, this noble organization has endowed me with mentorship and programs in such areas as entrepreneurship among others. By this impact, I am now a co-partner of a fresh yoghurt (star fresh yoghurt) venture located on Tamale Campus of the University for Development Studies. I still foresee more in stock for me and I am and will forever be grateful to Educational Pathways International.

My name is Bright Asante, a second year BSc. Biochemistry student in the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST, Ghana. I got to know about Educational Pathways International (EPI) through a friend of mine through a list of scholarship units he sent me. At a glance, I knew choosing EPI was the right choice I could ever make and so I took the bold step by applying. After a series of interviews, I was selected to be part of the EPI family by the grace of God.
Becoming part of the EPI family has played an important role in my life as a student because with EPI the “go-for-it” attitude has been instilled in me. I have been taught to set goals for myself in various aspects of my life, especially with respect to academics, and also gear all my efforts toward the accomplishment of the set goals. Also, with Educational Pathways International my focus is not set on the “smaller picture” which is my life as a student but on the “larger picture” which encompasses my life in and after school. This is because through EPI, I have been taken through some training which will help me in school and also in the corporate world after school. I am not anxious as to what would become of me when I leave school due to the things I have learnt and acquired during these monthly meetings and trainings that I have had the opportunity to take part in.
I have always been a person who is fascinated about nature and scientific discoveries. I found biochemistry as an avenue for satisfying this curiosity of mine by putting the knowledge gained into practice. Biochemistry helps one in better understanding of life particularly at the molecular level, that is, enzymes, amino acids, hormones, nucleic acids, and others. And this is what almost all science related programs are based on. Many groundbreaking researches in science leading to discoveries having positive impacts in people’s lives are applications of biochemistry.
It is my aim that after completing my four-year programme (BSc. Biochemistry), I would further my education in Biochemistry to obtain a master’s degree and move on to PhD which will improve my knowledge and understanding in any aspect of biochemistry so as to be an effective contributor to the development of my country.
The community in which I reside is faced with many problems ranging from health to sanitation and therefore with my knowledge in biochemistry I would be able to educate the people in my community on how to protect themselves from certain diseases and also to be people who are conscious of their sanitation. I also hope to work in a Research Institute in my country, Ghana where investigations into diseases are made so as to bring a stop to the spread of such diseases.
Educational Pathways International has done so much in my life and I want to use this opportunity to express my gratitude to the organization for the pivotal role it has played in my life, because apart from fulfilling my financial needs I have been refined in many aspects which I strongly believe will make me a better person who will contribute to the development of my community and country. God bless EPI for the great investment they are making in my life.

I am Asana Tungteeya Alhassan, a second year Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science student at the University for Development studies, Ghana. I am a beneficiary at the Educational Pathways International (EPI).

Coming from a family of eight including my mother and father, life hasn't been easy for us. My mother being a petty trader and my father a peasant farmer, life was so unbearable. We used to go through a lot of suffering to get our daily bread and also get some of our educational needs. With our hard work from my mother's petty trading and my father's peasant farming, my family kept most of the support from this on my education since I was the eldest amongst my siblings.

With this, I studied very hard in order to achieve my goal to become a Medical Laboratory Doctor. God being so great, I was successful with my WASSCE with which I had an entry into the university. Staying in the university, my parents couldn't afford to pay my second year fees which I was supposed to pay before registering for the second year courses. I heard of a scholarship named Educational Pathways International (EPI) which I applied for and was granted the scholarship after a successful interview. The happiest day of my life was this day that I had the EPI's comprehensive scholarship.

With EPI, all my educational needs are being provided for (payment of fees, hostel fees, books and stipends as well). With the amount I get as stipends from EPI, I use it to help my siblings at home who are still at the lower levels of their education and also use part to help my mother in her petty trading. At school, I get to study very well without a disturbed mind which makes it easy for me to understand better. The suffering in my family is so minimal now and my education is going on smoothly without any disturbance. This is all thanks to EPI. I have learnt a lot from my interactions with other EPI beneficiaries in the university during our recent meetings with our Program Director. These sessions shape is to become complete students on campus and more importantly ready for the world outside and the corporate world after school. It has also motivated me to keep on going no matter how difficult the path may be.

Growing up as a child in my community, rendering service to people and also doing what make people happy have always been the best part of me. On the other hand, seeing people suffering and dying is the last thing I wish to see. But what can I do? I asked myself silently. The only answer I got to this question years back was to become a medical practitioner, hence I chose to study Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science in my tertiary education. I did this to reduce the suffering of my people and also reduce the mortality rate in my community. This will go a long way to help Ghana as a whole.

I want to thank Educational Pathways International for taking care of my educational and social needs as well. Thank you for helping me on my struggle to become a Medical Laboratory Science Doctor. Words alone can't describe how grateful I feel towards EPI. Once again, I say a very big thank you.

My name is Mahmud Amatul-lah, a beneficiary of Educational Pathways International (EPI). I am a student of the University for Development Studies (UDS), Ghana. I am offering Community Nutrition.

Educational Pathways International (EPI) is the backbone of my stay in the University. Due to EPI, I have been able to continue the study of the program I am offering. This is because all the expenses concerning my education which was a great challenge and burden has been taken care of by EPI. This has instilled in me hope of completing my program of study in the shortest possible period. I am saying this because before I had this scholarship, payment for my entry into the University was a great worry to my parents. Monies had to be borrowed from friends and families to help put together the fees for payment to be made. Due to this, I used not have full concentration for my books as I always thought of how my next academic year's fee payment can be possible. Thoughts of deferral was what always comes to my mind. I could imagine how I would have to stay back at home for one or two years after my first year, so as to help my parents to gather the fees for the subsequent years ahead.

Thanks to God, EPI came into my life as a second parent helping with the payment of all my academic expenses. This has changed the then hopelessness to a state of hope for my education and future God willing.

Moreover, one unique thing about EPI is that apart from taking care of one's academic expenses, it as well trains and teaches its beneficiaries some basic activities and skills worth knowing to prepare and equip us for the future especially in the corporate world and the world outside of school in general.. Not leaving out, always reminding us on the reason for being in school and thus, the need to be up and doing and maintaining better grade so as to stay in the scholarship programme.

I chose Community Nutrition simply because I like to serve humanity. Community Nutritionists aim at educating and ensuring that preventive measures are kept into practice to help prevent the occurrence of health related problems. Therefore from the grass root, which is before conception, all the way down to old age can be properly managed by Nutritionists for the overall quality of life of the human populace.

With the knowledge of nutrition, after my four years study, I would like to work in collaboration with other health care personnel, to ensure that the health of the population is secured. I would as well help to see to it that, communities especially the rural and deprived communities and the Ghanaian population as a whole are being sensitized on the need to take to preventive measures to help avoid deficiencies as well as refraining from other health threatening activities. These would include good eating habits since we are what we eat, the use of nutrient supplements as well as proper sanitation practices.

In conclusion, EPI had really transformed my life. It is an encouraging body, a beckon of hope, and a reason for my comfort. I truly appreciate every effort that this scholarship had impacted on me. I as well hope and pray that it progresses unlimitedly and extend its warm hands to embrace more gifted and needy students. This would help unleash the potentials of lots of students to aid in the development of our country Ghana and the world at large.
Thank you EPI, I am indeed very grateful.

I am very grateful to Educational Pathways International (EPI) for the lasting impact on humanity made through their precious supports in all aspects ever since the Organization was instituted. Thanks again to EPI for giving me the opportunity to share with the world some experiences, testimonies and all impacts made as a result of their sponsorship. As a very proud EPI beneficiary, my name is Paul Yennuyal Singir a Nursing student at the University for Development Studies (UDS) Tamale, located in the northern part of Ghana.
I am a native of Sayeegu which is a small community under the Nakpanduri-Bunkpurugu district in the north eastern part of Ghana. As a citizen of Sayeegu community, I noticed over the past years that poverty has been a persistent outcry among my people and as a future leader, I realized that more than half of the annual income is always spent on our health especially during the rainy season in my community. There is always a rampant outbreak of diseases such as malaria, cholera, and typhoid which is most at times due to the lack of education on dieting and personal hygiene. Lack of health education and health facility account for the high rate of poverty in the Sayeegu community. Upon ruling out the major problems of concern among my people, I was internally motivated to study Nursing at the university with the intention of promoting health education and advocating for the need of a health facility in the future at Sayeegu community after gaining the necessary education as a graduate and a licensed Nurse.
EPI which is known worldwide as a very generous and a supportive Organization that give full scholarship to beneficiary students in the universities who come from homes of financial challenge. Sponsorship from EPI have enabled me and my entire family to approach life in a better and an excellent way.
My desire to study and learn new things keep increasing daily because of my exposure to several learning materials, educative programs, and mentorship sessions organized by EPI. I have been recommended by most of my lecturers in several occasions as the best presenter in our noble department and this always come with some financial awards. I have led my fellow students to write a research report in one of the communities in the Northern region of Ghana during our out programme and the general remarks from our assessors was just excellent and this generally improved my academic performance in the past two years .In this regard, I want to use this opportunity to thank Madam Eunice the Program Director of the mentorship sessions for the training skills and the warm receptions over the past years that empowers me to come up with some innovative solutions to our local problems.
Generally all thanks goes to EPI for executing the idea of the mentorship sessions which is very educative, transformative and serves as a tool of encouragement to many of us in taking up leadership positions. Sponsorship from EPI have given me the opportunity over the past two years to contribute positively to the academic upbringing of thirteen students in the basic level in my community. I have been a motivation and a role model to other students in the community through teaching and guidance and all this is made possible through the sponsorship from EPI.
Finally, EPI have demonstrated uniqueness in touching lives of many deprived and gifted students. It is my pleasure to wish EPI long life and a warm congratulations for their commitment to the purpose for which the organization was established. Thank you

I want to first of all use this opportunity to thank Educational Pathways International (EPI) for giving me the privilege to be a beneficiary of the program. My name is Paul Yennuyal Singir and I am a second year nursing student at the University for Development Studies (UDS) Tamale campus which is located in the northern part of Ghana.

I am a native of Sayeegu which is a village under the northern sector of Ghana. As a boy growing up I realized that people in Sayeegu usually fall sick due to the unhygienic nature of the place. When this happens it always becomes a challenge to access a health facility since Sayeegu does not have one and the distance before getting access to a facility is long hence leading to the sudden death of most people. Upon this experience, I decided to go into nursing so that upon graduation I can educate my people on some of the things that affect our health in the community and put up health center in Sayeegu in future in order to reduce the high death rate hence generating a positive change in the development of my community.

As a beneficiary of EPI, I want to say that I am very grateful and do always appreciate their support and all the initiatives made by them. After I gained the EPI scholarship on the 2ND November, 2018, one thing that happened was the activation of joy internally and that was a personal experience. I thought of holding this joy in me for the moment but before I realized I was smiling and my mouth was full of laughter. On that same day, I knew that I was completely a changed person all together and I went home full of praises and thanks to God for what happened.

Actually, EPI gave me an identity, hope and as well a voice when found in the midst of others. It also gave me the opportunity to obtain more wisdom, knowledge and understanding pertaining to my course of study and as well what the corporate world expects of me before I can fit in successfully after graduation. I have received these knowledge and understanding due to some of the training/seminars I have attended which were organized by EPI and I am very grateful for that opportunity.

In addition EPI helped me academically by giving me full scholarship for my university education and this has given me the opportunity to learn effectively and perform very well in my academic work.

It is always my prayer and that of my family that EPI will continue to experience prosperity, peace, love and long life as a result of its positive influence on humanity. EPI has kept a permanent smiles on the faces of individuals and families in my country.

My family, my friends and I are very grateful to EPI and do appreciate the efforts made. It is a fact that investment made by EPI in my life is never in vain because the glory of the later days is always greater than the former. Thank you.

To begin with, I am very grateful to Educational Pathways International (EPI) for making my dream of continuing my education a reality. My name is Ewurabena Yebowaa Afful, a beneficiary of the EPI scholarship. I am a final year student reading BSc. Pharmacy at the University of Ghana. EPI has impacted my life positively in many ways since I became part of this great family in the year 2016.

Financially, EPI caters for my school fees, residential fees, feeding expenses and learning materials. This motivates me to study harder because whenever I come to school, I have peace of mind to study. Academically, I learn a lot whenever we attend our monthly meetings. Some of the topics that were treated during our monthly meetings include goal setting, time management, entrepreneurship, report writing, different types of letter writing, public speaking and among others. This semester, in the month of March 2020, we treated CV writing and I learnt how to write a CV for myself. After the lecture on goal settings and time management, I can now set my priorities right and also manage my time very well. I have also been able to overcome the fear of standing in front of people to speak after being taken through public speaking.

Growing up, I wanted to care for the sick and the passion I had to do this was so strong thus influencing my decision to become a Pharmacist so I can one day manufacture drugs that can be used to cure diseases. Hence after school, one of my long term goal is that, I plan on collaborating with other colleagues to establish a Pharmaceutical company in Ghana that will be involved in extensive research and the manufacturing of cost effective drugs (very affordable drugs which are effective) in order to help improve the health condition of Ghanaians and the world at large.

EPI has been a blessing to me. I thank EPI for giving me the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful family and also making my dream of becoming a Pharmacist in the future a reality. It’s my prayer that the Almighty God continues to bless this wonderful family so that they would be able to touch more lives out there.

My name is Issahaku Alhassan a third year Medical student of the University for Development Studies, Tamale, Ghana. I am a beneficiary of the Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship. I am from Kuga, a village in Yendi in the northern region of Ghana.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Educational Pathways International (EPI) for the life-transforming opportunity they gave me by making me a beneficiary of the scholarship program. EPI has made my dream achievable, because it has provided me with the enabling environment to make my dream as a medical Doctor come true. It has given me the chance to learn well since it has taken most of my problems away, by paying my school fees, paying for my accommodation, books and providing me with funds for feeding. Had it not been for the immense support of EPI, I would not have been able to pay for all my university expenses. Also, through the mentorship programmes, which is a part of the scholarship package, and topics discussed in general meetings which is shaping us and molding us into better persons for now and for the future. And also to equip us of the corporate world.

For the enormous support of EPI, I intend to give back to my community and Ghana in entirety when I complete my course of study. I would like to stay in Ghana and join the train of health workers to combat diseases in order to improve upon the quality of life of Ghanaians. Working with a pulmonologist in my district was what encouraged me to study medicine, since there is no such specialist in the entire district. I have the goal of joining a scholarship institution in the future in order to support those who cannot afford to achieve their academic goals.

Also, I would like to impact on my community through health education, regular health screening, and mentorship to students within the community, since I am the first person to pursue medicine in the community.

Finally, I would like to once again, thank EPI for all forms of support they have been giving us. Thank you.

As a beneficiary of Educational Pathways International (EPI), one of my driving motives in life is giving back to society to help the needy and underprivileged and empowering myself to be of useful service to humanity.
I am Susanna Awinsogya Anovunga, a second year Biochemistry student of the University for Development Studies (UDS), Navrongo in the Upper East Region of Ghana. My university education is sponsored by Educational Pathways International (EPI). I have been on this scholarship for two years now and it has been a great opportunity and a chance to pursue my academic potentials and gain the needed insights and skills to impact society.
My desire to pursue Biochemistry and to equip myself towards my ambitions would have just remained mere desires without the financial support from EPI. This scholarship has taken the burden of seeking around for finances to settle my bills and has afforded me the calm I need to study and engage in useful extracurricular activities like leadership formations and seminars. I can now fully give my attention to my studies and attain the academic excellence I aspire to attain. With issues of financial burden taken care of, I can also partake in other non-academic activities to build myself up and be able to perform effectively wherever I find myself. Some of these activities include seminars and youth development programmes.
Aside the financial support given by EPI, we the beneficiaries are also taken through various training sessions every trimester to give us an all-round and balanced education. The training sessions takes us through various topics that are not taught in the classroom but which are needed to be able to fit into the corporate world properly. Some of the topics we are taken through include effective CV and report writing, preparing oneself for the job market, goal setting, entrepreneurship, competences that employers seek in employees and preparing for interviews, these are among the few that I have had the opportunity to participate in. This helps us to stand out and be the very best of ourselves wherever we are.
Healthy living has always been a top priority for me and a degree in Biochemistry will give me the necessary skills and techniques needed for health research. A country which has healthy people will almost certainly have high work productivity. I therefore intend to use the knowledge and skills obtained within this four-year programme to contribute to scientific health research and help improve the health wellbeing of Ghanaian citizens and the world at large. I also seek to be an inspiration to others never to give up on their ambitions and to work toward attaining them.
With this said, I will forever remain grateful to Educational Pathways International (EPI) for giving me the opportunity to continue my education and for the chance to also develop myself in all aspects to become an effective person and worker wherever I may find myself someday. EPI truly makes one to move forward and become the very best that they were meant to be.

My name is Susanna Awinsongya Anovunga, a first year Biochemistry student at the University for Development Studies (UDS) in the northern region of Ghana and a beneficiary of the Educational Pathways International (EPI) Scholarship. Being on this scholarship has greatly impacted all aspects of my life including my academic and career goals and my resourcefulness to society.

Educational Pathways International (EPI) has taken the financial burden off my family and I and has given me a sense of direction. Instead of looking for other desperate alternatives to cater for my educational expenses, I can now fully give my best in my academics and also work on developing myself personally so that I can fit into the corporate world after school and contribute my quota to humanity. With the funding and support from EPI, I am able to join extra-curricular clubs to widen my horizon on many spheres of life.

The opportunity given me by EPI has also helped me define my academic goals since I am no longer limited financially. It has rekindled the flame in me to push harder. Our meetings each trimester are very impactful. They help us develop ourselves holistically in every sphere of life. We are made aware of the fact that just knowledge without its application is not helpful hence we need to back up our academic excellence with practical skills, cooperating with others, be creative and ready to adapt change in line with current developments. This makes us whole and equipped to help improve society.

Biochemistry is a broad research science programme and going through this programme will give one the required skills and knowledge needed in any research field. Upon completion, I intend to further up in Medical Biochemistry and Health Research. With the new and evolving health problems we encounter every day, I want to contribute in finding out new and improved ways of handling these problems. And thanks to EPI, I now stand a chance of making it.

As a beneficiary of Educational Pathways International, I have been influenced to give back to society, therefore after school, I would like to help the young ones in my community and educate them on the importance of education.

With all these said, I am very grateful to Educational Pathways International for giving me the chance to develop and utilize my potential and also filling me with the desire to help others unearth their capabilities too. I believe the initiative taken by EPI, the world is becoming a better place by helping improve us to improve others too.

I am Kennedy Amankwah, a third-year student of the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) in Accra, Ghana with Accounting as my major course of study.

Life after senior high school was tough even when I started the university in my first year. I must admit my single mother found it extremely difficult financing it on her own prior to joining Educational Pathways International (EPI) family.

Indeed, since I joined EPI family, there has been progressive development in aspects of my life like my academics, social, financial among others. Unlike other scholarship schemes that provides financial assistance to their beneficiaries and nothing more, EPI really goes beyond that and gives you a sense of belonging. Our country Director keeps a keen eye on our studies, give us guidance and counseling, and takes us through other training and skill to compliment the ones we receive from our lectures. These have really helped in molding my life to suit the ever-changing working force. Thanks to Educational Pathways International, I have acquired valuable skills such as how to write a good Curriculum Vitae, how to master public speaking, preparing adequately for an interview, writing a report, and a host of other skill sets.

Another aspect of help that Educational Pathways International has given me is helping me to sail through my university education with ease in terms of finances. With EPI, I only need to keep showing academic excellence and I am guaranteed to continue my studies without my mother needing to struggle. And that has actually really helped me personally to show decent academic performances over my three year stay in the university.

Growing up, I have always been fascinated about figures due to the fact that I used to help my mother in calculating her money after returning from the market from her petty trading. That is what inspired my interest in business which I did in senior high school and then decided to pursue it more in the university especially in the field of Accounting because I believe that Accounting is the language of business.
After school, I would like to pursue more into the field of Accounting and offer the professional courses related to it (ICAG, ACCA). I believe equipping myself well in this way will make me obtain a good position and also help those who will need help.
It is my aim to try in my own little way to impact and give back to my society in any way possible be it impacting knowledge, helping the underprivileged and also contributing my little quota to the national development.

Finally, I would like to express my profound gratitude to all those connected one way or the other to Educational Pathways International, from the founders, management, donors and the workers. EPI family has really impacted my life in every aspect. It is my prayer that the God Lord will continue to bless and protect everyone even as the world struggles through the current pandemic, that the God Lord will replenish all that they have invested in bringing hope to people like myself and helping us climb the academic ladder. Thank You

Educational Pathways International (EPI) has been a great help in my life since I joined this great family in October, 2020. Since I joined EPI it has helped keep me on my toes in terms of my academic studies due to the requirements supposed to be attained in order to be part of this family. EPI has also aided me in terms of my finances with respect to school fees, residential fees, books and stipend for my general upkeep as compared to when I was not enrolled in this scholarship where times were very hard for me as a student which affected my life a lot but now due to the support of EPI, I am able to learn with a sound mind devoid of any thinking about my finances. Despite the fact that I had parents my education could not be supported by them since they are faced with financial challenges. By the grace of God, EPI showed and awarded me a comprehensive scholarship which has made my life on campus easy and it has given me a sound mind to concentrate on my studies and get better grades requited by the scholarship.

Also, EPI has equipped me with subsidiary skills and training that we are taken through during our monthly general meetings when school is in session. These, and many others have made me really appreciate EPI for the good work and support in many lives like me.

The reason why I pursued BSc. Administration is to achieve my main goal of becoming a Chartered Accountant. It is also to help the weak feminine in the society to gain good financial grounds which helps reduce the high rate of women depending on their husbands which will help reduce high rate of abuses suffered by women from their husbands due to their dependence on them which further goes to reduce poverty in the nation as a whole. Aside my dream of being a Chartered Accountant there are several job opportunities offered immediately after school which can earn me some earnings to take care of my parents and aid in the education of my younger sisters to be to make a family of good financial standing. Before becoming an Accountant after gaining my first degree, I plan to get employed and accumulate some money to take care of my parents and my younger siblings.

I am also hopeful that before I complete my four-year program it is my goal to also get a certificate in some professional courses which I would run alongside my first degree. This will easily aid in the achievement of my goal.

Finally, I want to thank EPI again for their good work and the impartations they continue to impact in a lot of lives. I personally thank EPI and it is my desire that they will flourish and ascertain the best.

Am Margaret Morgan Wright, a third year student of University for Development Studies-Ghana, offering Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science.
As a needy and brilliant student who have goals to achieve in life, my focus was and has always been to attain higher education. Making my goals a reality was a difficult task and because of that after completing high school, I worked a year to earn and save money to cater for my tertiary education. The problem was how much can I earn to save in other to take care of myself and also for an averagely of four years in university. A child of a petty trader and a carpenter whose income cannot even sustain the house expenditure neither to think of paying for University education for their ward. I gain admission to University for Development Studies and the worry I had most was how my fees and other needs were going to be taken care of, in the subsequent years in school.
I would like to use this opportunity to thank Educational Pathways International (EPI) Scholarship for your generous support. I was very happy and appreciative to learn that I had been selected as one of the recipients of Educational Pathway International Scholarship for 2018 year group. This scholarship have taken all my financial burden off me and this has boast my zeal in pursing my education and my career. Since the scholarship covers school fees, hostel fees, books and stipend for my up-keep, it has enabled me to focus much more on my academics. It has also helped me to have a sound and stress-free mind for studying hard and maintaining a better GPA.
I chose Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science because of the passion I have to help others as the motor reads "service to humanity" and the competitive earning in the health sector. After my tertiary education, I would love to further my education and follow my dream as an Entrepreneur and a Lecturer as well.
EPI’s generosity has inspired me to help others and give back to society. In my long term future goal, I would love to have a well modern science laboratory which will be rendering quality service to humanity. This will create job opportunities for the community and the society as a whole. My employees and I will be having free screening twice in six months and an outreach to selected rural and deprived communities in my country, Ghana. I would also love to be embarking on a project called "save a life also", which I will be moving from one educational institution to another on the campaign of the health personnel role in health care of the individual.
All these will be possible because EPI’s scholarship has taken the responsibility of taking care of my University Education. I am one step closer to my goal because you have made it possible for me to believe so.
Without a doubt, this scholarship will play a key role in achieving my dreams because of Educational Pathway International scholarship generosity of taken care of the financial burden placed on me to pursue my education. That means I can now spend more time on my studies and less time worrying about any other thing.
I thank EPI for their investment in me, thank you for your thoughtful and generous support and the future of students like me.

I am Wendy Aryeh Johnson a final year student of the University of Ghana, Legon, reading combined major in Political Science and Archaeology. I chose to read these courses because of my interest in knowing how government formulate policies and steer the affairs of the state and to also learn about the world’s history and changes that have occurred as well as to learn about misconceptions that may have been construed.

My being part of Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship program has really helped me stay more focused in terms of taking my academic life very seriously, and also increased my passion for helping people when I can. It has also increased my interest and passion in helping disadvantaged children who cannot have access to proper form of education by joining some non-governmental organizations who grant aid to such children by mobilizing students to teach children to read and write, as I feel very lucky to have been given the help and support I needed for my education.

Educational Pathways International scholarship programme unlike other scholarship programmes provides its beneficiaries an interesting and interactive learning platform during its monthly general meetings to shape and prepare its beneficiaries for life after school. During these interactive learning meetings we are taught how to write a good curriculum vitae to make us the best and first to select by employers, we are taught the art of public speaking to prepare us to be articulate and confident where ever we find ourselves, we are also taught how to manage our time as students, we are also taught how to set attainable and achievable goals, we are also taught how to conduct ourselves during interviews, these and many more interesting topics and skills geared towards making us the best and the most exceptional individuals wherever we may find ourselves.

I plan on further serving my country and continuing my education after school and also establish a non-governmental organisation with the aim of helping deprived brilliant and gifted children to become useful in the society.

Finally, I would like to use this opportunity to show my outmost gratitude and appreciation to Educational Pathways International’s benefactors, sponsors, donors and partners for creating such a wonderful scholarship program not only to help brilliant and gifted students of home of financial challenge like myself to achieve our dreams and goals but to also shape us to become useful adults and citizens for the communities and our country Ghana.

My name is Samuel Yeboah. I am a second year Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science student at the University for Development Studies in Ghana.

Educational Pathways International (EPI) has made my life as a student very comfortable. Financing tertiary education especially in the university is one of the major problems parents in deprived communities such as mine encounter. I struggled as a student in footing bills at the Senior High School level so coming to the university which has much higher bills kept me in a dilemma. My hope of being an agent of change in my community began dwindle.

Out of the blues came Educational Pathways International scholarship programme. A non-profitable organization that provides full scholarship to gifted and needy students. This scholarship package has been the corner stone of my university education. It has made me put a stop to thinking about how to finance my education which was a hindrance to my academics. I can now fully concentrate on my books and this has helped me academically.

Not to talk about academics alone, mentorship, educative and leadership programs organized by Educational Pathway International has also made positive effect in my social and moral life. I am currently the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament of the University for Development Studies Tamale Campus. And all thanks to Educational Pathways International.

I have always had passion for the sick from my infancy, so when I had the chance of choosing a program of study, I choose Medical Laboratory Science. Medical laboratory science I believe is a branch of the health care system that aims at detecting cause of disease through examination of body fluids and hence collaborate with other healthcare professionals in treating patients.

Upon graduation as a Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science and gainfully employed, I will set up a team of healthcare professionals to provide education to communities particularly on hygiene and basic preventive measures for diseases in such areas. I will as well organize free health screening for such deprived communities which cannot access quality healthcare.

All these are possible and all thanks to Educational Pathways International. I pray for success in all their doings and God bless the entire organization.

Winston Churchill once said, “Success consists of going from failure to failure with loss of enthusiasm”. And while I never define my obstacles as failures, I mark my success by repeated perseverance through adversity. My name is Priscilla Frimpong a second year student of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Kumasi, in Ghana, pursuing a four year bachelor’s degree Programme in BSc. Development Planning.

I joined Educational Pathways International scholarship in October 2019, and it has been the greatest opportunity I have ever had in my entire life. This scholarship opportunity has had impact not only in my academic life, but has transformed my life in numerous ways including, our seminars, general meetings and others. It has reduced the financial burden I was faced with in school and helped me find more time and energy to focus on my studies.

I chose to offer BSc. Development Planning because of the passion I had from High school to join the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) to help contribute my quota to the development of our local communities and our country as a whole. After my bachelor’s degree in Development Planning, I wish to continue my studies and further my education in the field of business. To obtain a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and advance my career in new opportunities is my ultimate goal. My bachelor’s degree shows my passion to be a Development Planner.

As a Development Planner, I will help promote sustainable and stable development of my community and the country at large and to improve the quality of life of people in my community and country. My Master’s degree in Business Administration will also help advance my career in planning and help me potentially manage my own fitness business and this will also help generate employment opportunities and revenue to the government through taxes. I will also help the poor and needy in the community through my wealth. This will all be in the benefit of my country Ghana.

I really appreciate the assistance of Educational Pathways International and cannot express my gratitude enough, receiving this scholarship opportunity motivates me to learn harder and increase my CWA, complete my degree, and to also give back to the community. I thank you for the confidence and willingness to help me achieve my goals, I am beyond gratitude for the help you are giving me to turn this passion to a career.

My name is Sylvester Agyapong, a third year Computer Engineering student at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana. Prior to my tertiary education, I studied general science in high school due to the interest that I had in artificial intelligence and robotics at a tender age.

Pursuing my education became difficult when my mother who was my main sponsor got sick. Despite this obstacle, I managed to complete high school and was awarded an admission by KNUST and by God’s design I was given the very programme that I desired to read. I worked for a while for some money and with some assistance from my parents entered into the university.

Upon arrival at the university, I dedicated myself to studying very hard so as to be counted amongst the very best in my department and also in the entire school and probably the nation as a whole. My dream was to be a highly learned and experienced person in technology within my country and beyond. My interests lies especially with artificial intelligence, software engineering and robotics and I aspire to be counted among the greats like Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk and so many more. Technological advancement in Ghana and other African countries is not the best and I aspire to someday change this trend and elevate the technological standards of this generation and posterity.

A dream that one does not work on to accomplish remain just a dream. To achieve this dream means I would have to remain in school to learn and acquire the skill necessary to make it a reality. However, this was not an easy task since I could not afford the cost of my education. My tuition, accommodation, transportation and health expenses had to be paid by myself since my parents could not offer much help. This soon became a burden on me until I was awarded a full scholarship by Educational Pathways international (EPI). They covered all my educational expenses which includes my tuition, accommodation, books and other things that I would need to have a successful education.

Also, EPI being a community of intellectuals, offered motivation and empowerment for me to keep on working to make my dream come true. I am happy to be so lucky to have found myself within this amazing family. In a word, EPI is simply life-changing. EPI did not only offer me sponsorship but a reason to work hard day and night on my dream.

Upon graduation from the university and rendering my national service, I intend to start up a software and AI company with others who share the same dream as myself. Together we will work to push our communities into the new age of technology and the nation as a whole.

Prosper Azameti is my name and a beneficiary of Educational Pathways International (EPI) residing in Jasikan a town in the Volta region in Ghana. Having completed Senior High School in 2011, I could not have any financial muscle to even pay my admission fees until 2018 that I got admitted to University of Ghana (Legon). I happily chose to pursue a combined major in Mathematics and Statistics with the intention of becoming a Mathematics Teacher to assist my beloved country Ghana and eliminate poor performance in Mathematics which prevents most students from continuing their education to higher institutions.

Before I was awarded Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship, life on University of Ghana campus was very hard just within two months of being in school. I thought of deferring the programme due to accommodation problems, financial difficulties and challenges with my studies due to the longevity of my stay in the house which has weaken my knowledge reserve of fundamental corollary of mathematics concepts and the added responsibility of taking care of my mother who was still suffering from stroke.

Being granted a full scholarship by EPI is not only a relief for my stay on campus to pursue academic laurels but also a way to the fulfilment of my career goals.

Educational Pathways International gave me and my family reasons to smile again. My financial burden has been reduced drastically which has enabled me to purchase some prescribed medicines for my mother without any effect on my academic commitment. I henceforth focuse on my academic works since EPI takes care of my tuition, residential fees and also gives me extra money for my books and stipend to make my stay on campus a stress-free one which has given me added motivation to press on and improve on my academics.

EPI also gave me another family on campus. Our monthly family meetings serve as a training session to equip all of us for the world outside school. Notwithstanding the fact that I am in the second year, our family meetings on campus has given me another dimension to perceive the world outside. As a requirement for being a beneficiary of EPI scholarship I shall put in hard work to maintain a best grade to complete my University successfully which I jealously pursued throughout first year.

I am very grateful to Educational Pathways International for their support because when I thought all hopes were lost, EPI came into my life to put me on the path to success. I am forever indebted to EPI and very grateful to all the donors and sponsors.

My name is Shaibu Abubakar, a second year Medical Laboratory Technology student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana.
I have been part of the Educational Pathways International for 2 years and my time with other members of this family has been a blessing both academically and social wise. In my two years as a member of this great family, I have met students from different backgrounds and social standing and I have learnt a lot from them.
Our monthly general meetings involving all members of the EPI family at the KNUST campus have been educative. I have learnt a great deal from other members of the family and from our Program Director. I have learnt about the corporate world and how to overcome the challenges in it after school, how to study effectively, writing a comprehensive curriculum vita and whole lot of other stuff that are not taught in lecture rooms. I have had the opportunity to learn from home during long vacations through Internship programmes thanks to Educational Pathways International.
Growing up I wanted be to a Research Scientist to aid my country in finding lasting treatments to neglected tropical diseases. Growing up in the slums of northern Ghana, that dream never really looked bleak unlike what it looks today, achievable, thanks to Educational Pathways International scholarship scheme. That dream looks really closer than it looked 2 years ago before I became a member of the big EPI family.
Giving back to society has always been my motive. It is a fulfilling and satisfactory feeling that one gets when he/she gives has the ability to help others, no matter how little it may be. It is our collective responsibility to make our societies and the whole world a better place to live that is why I intend to give back to the society that made me in any possible way that I can.
I would like to say a very thank you to Educational Pathways International for the wonderful work that they have been doing. Many dreams have become realities through their efforts and good work.

My name is Foster Anopansuo, a first-year student offering BSc. Computer Engineering at the University of Ghana. I am a beneficiary of the Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship scheme.

I chose to offer Computer Engineering because I want to be an Engineer and be able to find and develop ways of solving problems in my community and the nation as a whole. I also want to be able to develop software and AI's to help facilitate work in the country. After school, I intend on becoming a Software Engineer and if possible, and in the long term start up an Engineering Firm in the country to help solve different kinds of problems according to the different types of engineering disciplines. In a more general view, I would like to contribute in the technological advancement of the country and motivate others into this field of science.

In the first few days in which I entered the University, learning was quite difficult for me since I lacked the funds to support my education. Then, I found Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship and applied to be on it. I was successfully awarded the scholarship. EPI provided me a comprehensive scholarship.

EPI also takes her beneficiaries through training, skills, guidance and counseling which usually are not taught in the classroom to help us academically, socially, psychologically in our monthly meetings to shape us into holistic individuals whiles in school and most importantly in the corporate world after completing school. From these meetings, I also learnt that the internship requirement in the scholarship is to enable us to obtain some work experience during long vacations and to give us some insight of how working after graduating from school will be like.

Thanks to EPI, my father also no longer worries as much as he used to as this scholarship scheme has reduced the stress he used to endure before I applied for the scholarship. Being on this scholarship scheme has also motivated me to stay much focused on my education as it holds a record of producing outstanding students per year and I also want to be one of those outstanding students after I graduate from the University of Ghana as I would not want to tarnish the reputation of the scholarship scheme.

I would also like to take this opportunity to show my utmost gratitude to the EPI team. Thank you for all what you have done for me. Although it is just my first year, I appreciate all your efforts so much.

Thank you.

My name is Edmond Boah, a second year student of the University of Ghana. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration. I was privileged to receive the Educational Pathways International Scholarship Award during the first semester of the 2019/2020 academic year.

This scholarship brought a great relief to me and my family as I used it to offset the accumulated unpaid fees. The financial aid was timely, as it did not only give me financial relief but also saved me from a possible interruption or deferment of my academic program. Receiving this scholarship motivates me to maintain a good grade point average since I no longer need to worry about how to pay my academic and residential fees. I would not have gotten this far in my education without the financial assistance.

The few months spent with the Educational Pathways International has not only offered me financial assistance, but also transformed and impacted my social life. With this support from Educational Pathways International, I am assured that my dream of becoming a Chartered Accountant would one day become a reality. I look forward to giving back to the community and to the other needy students in the near future.

I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to Educational Pathways International for the timely financial assistance offered me. I do appreciate your efforts and commitment to help brilliant and needy students like me realize their dreams and achieve their academic goals. Once again thank you for your support.

My name is Asimah Dramani, a third year student of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana studying BSc. Architecture.

After my successful completion of Senior High School, living in a remote village in the Upper West Region of Ghana, my passion was to create places of comfort using indigenous material to ensure security of the poor in society but the path to my success of becoming an Architect was becoming thin and dim due to the financial challenges of my family. A son of a single mother, I thought my dream was shuttered.

Things started becoming brighter and clearer when I placed an application for scholarship from Educational Pathways International (EPI) after I had gained admission to study Architecture at KNUST in my first year in 2017. Under this scholarship program, my school fees, accommodation, books and stipend are covered. This has relived my family of financial burden and given me the free mind to concentrate on my academic work, all I have to do is to study hard and make EPI proud. My family has nothing to worry about now.

EPI offers a lot of positive impact to beneficiaries on both religious, social and academic areas. Attending regular meetings every month in the semester, we are trained on various aspects of activities that expose us to the benefits of the society. We were trained on Public Speaking, Time Management and Planning, Entrepreneurship, Preparing CV writing and sitting for Interviews, just to mention but a few. Through Public Speaking training, I have learned how to do presentation confidently without any difficulty which was actually a problem during my days in first year. Though I have limited time on campus, I do set some time aside to design few flyers and sell them to colleagues as a way of applying the skills in Entrepreneurship that I learned. During our monthly meetings and seminars we interact as a family and scholars who have common goals and visions for our societies. Our meetings and seminars are lovely and lively as one’s contributions are deliberated and articulated for the benefits of others.

The impact of Educational Pathways International on the lives of each and every scholar/beneficiary is very great and splendid as there is huge life transformation. I therefore only need to study hard and put all the skills learned into practice so that I will be able to touch the lives of many in the society and our nation Ghana as a whole.

I pray Almighty God grant the founders, donors and sponsors of this great family more blessings for them to continue touching the lives of needy and brilliant students in our universities since poverty is one of the main obstacles to success, without their touch and spirit I would have been on a different lane.

I will forever be grateful to EPI for the support, spirit of love and encouragement they offer me. God bless Ghana, God bless KNUST, God bless EPI and all those who contribute to the growth of this family.
Thank you!!!

MY REVIEW ON EPI ( Educatonal pathways International)
Getting tertiary education after my Senior High School was my dream and this dream was been reduced into a mere wish due to financial constraints . By The Grace of God, this dream is being awaken by a non profit organization ( Educational Pathways International). My academic and residential fees were paid as well as my books and feeding. The programme I study is cost intensive and it would not be easy for people from weak financial background, with this I thank Educational Pathways International for this support.
Education without goal is like joining a flight without knowing your destination base on my interest and capabilities I decided to study Architecture as a road map to achieving my career goal as an Architect, categorically seven years from now. This ambition is fueled by the state of building and construction in our communities.
I have no doubt that without the support of Educational Pathways International, the talents of most brilliant and needy students would have defused into mere wishes. Educational Pathways International develops scholars in diverse ways through seminars and intermittent meetings to enable us bring the best out of ourselves and making the community a place of comfort for all.
Educational Pathways International will forever grow to be a greater family and NGO within all its areas of operation. God bless Mr. and Mrs. Lafrance and Auntie Eunice and God bless the Educational Pathways International.

Educational Pathways International (EPI) has been of a very great help to me through their benevolence and their utmost generosity since I joined this great family in October 2019. EPI has really kept me on my toes in terms of my academics due to its requirements to stay on the programme.

Financing my educational journey used to be very difficult, but since the intervention of EPI, all these have become things of the past. The financial support which includes my school fees, hostel fees, books and stipend for my general upkeep has really helped me and my family a lot because it has really reduced the financial tension I had in my life when I was not enrolled in this scholarship programme. Now I am able to learn with full concentration devoid of any financial difficulties which brought divided attention between my academics and personal upkeep.

EPI has also equipped me with other subsidiary skills to help me in my life on campus and most importantly my interaction with the corporate world after school. Also one of EPI scholarship requirement is be involved in internships during long vacation. This is an exciting experience which I am looking forward to be part of during our long vacation. All these show how EPI keeps close contact with its beneficiaries and how they show keen interest in our wellbeing and I am very appreciative for their great help in my life.

I am a first year student reading Economics, Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Ghana (Legon). I selected these courses mainly because I want to be a great Economist to help the economic development of my lovely country, Ghana. A country can fully develop when her citizens are economically stable and its social wellbeing is well upright. Since I have such great love for my country, I believe I can be able to make projective and important suggestions in the economical development of the country when I am able to acquire more analytical and substantive knowledge in furthering my studies in economics.

With the help of EPI, I am very confident that I will complete my studies and get a good first degree which is a main step to achieving my goals.

Finally, I am thankful to the entire body of Educational Pathways International. Without all of you and your benevolence as well as generosity, I would not have found my way here in life. God richly bless you and your good works and I hope all that you are spending and investing in us will be refilled in multiples. It is my desire that you will continue to rise above all heights and continue to flourish in excellence.

Thank you.

I am in the person of Danzi Declerk Boodba, a fourth year student offering Doctor of Medical Laboratory Sciences at the University for Development Studies (UDS), Ghana. I grew up with my stepmother and her children since my mother and father died when I was very young. At that time, I thought my educational life had come to an end, but my stepmother and stepsister made a commitment from then to do everything within their power to instil in me the continual love for education, learning and understanding the importance of hard work and dedication. Because of their continual love and sacrifice, over the years, I was able to make it from the basic school into the high school and then gain admission into the university but the going has always been tough in terms of monetary issues.
As I was constantly searching and trying to find scholarships opportunities that will assist me in my educational needs, I remain grateful to have come across the opportunities fellow students have been getting from Educational Pathways International (EPI). Educational Pathways International (EPI) is a non-profit organization that sponsors gifted and needy students in their university education. Educational Pathways International (EPI) has actually impacted, molded and transformed not only my life but that of my family by turning our sufferings into blessings since I joined EPI last two years.
In my life and academics, EPI has provided me with an enabling environment required by every student in accomplishing their educational goals. Why do I say this? This is because things like, school fees, accommodation fees, stipend for books, food, clothes are all part of the package students enjoy under EPI scholarship. These things are the basic necessity to the success of every student in school and am glad to be part of students under this package. Also, EPI scholarship program provides its beneficiaries with a form of positive control check that keeps us on track whenever one is going out of track. This so because, one condition of the scholarship is for you to continue to maintain very good academic standard. This helps one to not relax but takes his or her studies more seriously. Again, on every general meetings of EPI, we are taught topics such as Report Writing, Competent Skills Employers Seek, Writing of Curriculum Vitae (CV) and others which most probably won’t be taught in our usual classroom studies. This helps me to package myself well as I proceed in life.
I chose to offer Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science because it offers a wide range of opportunities for students after completion. Students after completion have the opportunity to specialize in various fields like chemical pathology, haematology, virology, bacteriology, researching and so on. After completion of school and in the future, I will work diligently and very hard to improve upon the health status of people at where I will be posted. Also, in collaboration with fellow health personnel, organize medical check-ups and health screening for my community occasionally to brief and alert them on their health life and how to practice precautionary and preventive measures to help curb illness like malaria, cholera among others.
I am very grateful to the sponsors of EPI for their enormous support by impacting, moulding and transforming my life and that of my family and also for giving me the strength to keep pushing for my long-term dream.

My name is Danzi Declerk Boodba, a third year student offering Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science at the University for Development Studies, Ghana. I grew up with my stepmother and her children since my mother and father died when I was very young. At that time, I thought my educational life had come to an end, but my stepmother and stepsister made a commitment from then to do everything within their power to instil in me the continual love for education, learning and understanding the importance of hard work and dedication. Because of their continual love and sacrifice, over the years, I was able to make it from the basic school into the high school and then gained admission into the university but the going has always been tough in terms of monetary issues.

As I was constantly trying to find more work and searching for scholarships opportunities that will help me pay for my educational needs, I remain very thankful to find the opportunities students have been receiving from Educational Pathways International (EPI). It makes me feel that I have a place to lean unto for achieving my educational goals. Educational Pathways International (EPI) has actually impacted, moulded and transformed not only my life but that of my family by turning our suffering into blessings since I joined EPI last year.

In my life and academics, EPI has provided me with enabling environment needed by every student in accomplishing their educational goals. For the first time in my educational life and three years stay in the university, I have been able to get straight (A’s) in my ten registered courses for the last trimester (grade point average of 5.0). This achievement is due to the provision of enabling environment by EPI since I no longer have to worry about what to eat, how to pay my fees, accommodation, books etc. which all gear toward the achievement of my goals.

I chose to offer Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science because it offers a wide range of opportunities for students after completion. Students after completion have the opportunity to specialize in various fields like chemical pathology, haematology, virology, bacteriology and so on. As a health programme and after completion, I will work diligently and very hard to improve upon the health status of people at where I will be posted. Also, in collaboration with fellow health personnel, organizing medical check-ups and health screening for my community occasionally to brief and alert them on their health life is what I intend to do.

I am Uthman Khadija a second year student of the University For Development Studies, (UDS) in the northern part of Ghana. Studying BA Integrated Business Studies. It has been a great blessing to be part of Educational Pathway International (EPI) family. This full scholarship granted me in November 2019, has boosted by moral and the enthusiasm in me to keep on pushing towards realizing my career and professional goal. It has also enhanced my potential and my academic performance.
This scholarship program has also given me an insight on how to write a competitive curriculum vitae and how to present myself in public, through a mentorship meeting I attended. I have learnt how to manage money and prepare a workable budget.
I believe in the importance of acquiring a higher education through university degree. Therefore, I plan to work harder towards the attainment of a first class degree in Bachelor of Arts integrated Business Studies. I am the first child of my parents to attend university. This scholarship award would push be further towards my accounting degree, and achieving my career dreams in professional Accounting and Finance.
I believe in giving back to the community by helping others in financial crisis which would help them realize their academic goal and also be a role model to deprived people by educating them on how the social, economic and political issues affect their lives and the use of their own potentials to solve these issues, these are my future aspirations for my community.
I see myself employed at a large local firm crunching numbers, evaluating and solving certain financial related matters in the near future. I really appreciate this scholarship granted me. And I see it as a great opportunity to transform my dreams and aspirations into a good course which I will further translate to the development of my community and society in general.

My name is Karim Adonpoka Sekinatu, a student of the University for Development Studies in the Northern Region of Ghana, pursuing Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science in my second year. Being a biomedical laboratory scientist wasn’t actually my first choice but the idea was to serve humanity. Studying a program that would help humanity is quite fulfilling. Biomedical laboratory science makes you view the word from a whole different dimension, seeing what the mere eyes can’t see by using an aided lens. You can have an opportunity to understand how the tiny things that can’t be seen are able to interact with us giant living organisms. It makes you picture what goes on in our system when we consume different substances and the effects they have directly and indirectly on us.
My desire for formal education and motivation from my family’s background kept me going. Being the only girl in my family to get this far in my education is an achievement that makes me proud of myself every day. I come from a polygamous family with my mother being the sole breadwinner with the little she gets from her petty trading. The small shop which made life a bit easy for us was demolished making our daily survival difficult. My siblings and I at times either hawk our goods or displayed them by the roadside or in the market but our trading gets cut off when it rains or security personnel clear the roads for cars. My father also helps out with the small he gets from cleaning and doing other manual jobs for people.
Life seemed hard after me and my family. My school fees, accommodation feeding and other expenses couldn’t be well catered for by my parents. Just when I thought of giving up on my dreams Educational Pathways International (EPI) came in and brought things in order in my life. My academic user fees, accommodation, studying materials even including my daily feeding have all been taken care of by Educational Pathways International (EPI).
Right now, the burden of my education has been taken off my shoulders and that of my parents. Now, all that I only need is to study very hard make continuous good grades and realize my dreams. EPI also organizes sessions where we are taught some topics like public speaking skills, curriculum vitae writing and a whole lot of others.
I can now study without wondering how my fees and other academic expenses will be taken care of.
The only phrase I will use for EPI is ‘thank you’ for making me part of the wonderful EPI family. I am sincerely grateful for your help.

When I completed high school in 2016, although I had a good examination results, my parents could not afford my tuition in any university in Ghana. In 2017, after teaching for a year and saved enough to pay for my admission fee, I applied to University of Ghana. Before I joined Educational Pathways International (EPI), life on university campus was very hard. I could not afford any reading material recommended for my course of study. I had to manage the small upkeep money for months to lessen the pressure at home. I always felt sad whenever I called home because things were worst.
Educational Pathways International gave me and my family reasons to smile again. Our financial burden has been cut down. My parents can now focus on other aspects of our lives since EPI has given me a comprehensive scholarship which covers my tuition residential fees, books and stipend to make my stay on campus a stress-free one. This has given me reasons to press on and learn harder to achieve my aim in the future.
EPI also gave me another family on campus. Our monthly family meetings serve as a training session to equip all of us for the world outside the classroom. Among the things that I have learnt are How To Prepare Curriculum Vitae, Manage My Time Effectively. I am now able to plan my daily activities which have helped me to see a positive improvement in my academics.
I am Elidad Ofosu Addo, reading B.A Political Science and Chinese at the University of Ghana (Legon). I am in my third year. I chose to learn Chinese language in the University of Ghana as a result of the increase demand for Chinese interpreters in Ghana. After graduation, I will like to work as an Interpreter for a Chinese company in Ghana and also start a small farm in my community.
As I have benefitted from EPI and as part of the future goals, I will also want to give back to my community by helping the needy students in my community with their fees and learning materials. I believe in doing so I will contribute to making the world a better place for all and also contribute to quality education which is one of the United Nation’s strategic development goals.
I am very grateful to Educational Pathways International (EPI) for their support all these years because when I thought all hope was lost, God through EPI gave me hope again.

My name is Gabriel Appiah. I am a third 3rd year student of the University of Ghana Business School, offering Bachelor of Science in Administration (Accounting option), and I am a beneficiary of the Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship.

I have been a beneficiary of the Educational Pathways International scholarship for three (3) years now, from my first year when I was admitted into the University of Ghana. Educational Pathways International scholarship has been a lifesaving program to me. As a student from a weak financial background, my tertiary education would have been a nightmare if I had not met Educational Pathways International scholarship program.

EPI has provided me with yearly comprehensive scholarship through and enormous financial support which covers the yearly payment of my school fees, residential fees, books and an appreciable yearly stipend for up keeping. EPI has also helped me acquire additional knowledge on Time Management, Thinking, Entrepreneurship, CV Writing, Report Writing among others through the monthly family meetings organised by the Program Director of the scholarship. I have learnt how to network as the program brings together beneficiaries from all part of the country as a big family.

The mandatory internship or volunteering requirement of the scholarship has enabled me to gain corporate experiences through the internship and volunteering program I took during the past two (2) summer vacations.

I appreciate the work of the entire Educational Pathways International team who work relentlessly to provide financial and educational support to people of weak financial backgrounds to have a sound and privileged tertiary education. Educational Pathways International is indeed the best non-profit organisation in the world.

Long live Educational Pathways International!

I am Gabriel Appiah, a second year beneficiary of Educational Pathways International (EPI) Scholarship from the University of Ghana Business School, reading Bachelor of Science in Administration.
I joined the Educational Pathways International scholarship programme in October 2017, and it has been a blessing unto me and my family. Being from a financially weak family, I had difficulty in financing my tertiary education, which kept me worried after my high school education. Thanks to Educational Pathways International (EPI) for giving people like me the chance to pursue our academic and career goals without any financial impediment.
The Educational Pathways International scholarship is a full scholarship that covers my academic and residential fees, books and a stipend which is able to cover all my expenses including feeding. The programme also has provided me with the opportunity to intern with companies of my choice, which has really given me practical experience on the job market as well as networking opportunities. I have been enlightened on various topics including Entrepreneurship, Effective Thinking, and Public Speaking among topics through the monthly family meetings. The programme has also linked me with other beneficiaries of the scholarship programme offering different programmes in the University of Ghana. Aside these benefits, I have been privileged to meet my benefactors, who take the pain to travel all the way to Ghana to visit the family in every October to see how we are progressing in our education, as well as to motivate us to do better. Such a great privilege!
I hereby recommend Educational Pathways International as one of the best non-governmental organisation in the world. The organisation is really making impact in the lives of gifted university students like me in Ghana. Students whose dreams would have been shattered if Educational Pathways International had not come their way. People who may have dropped out of school.
Long live Educational Pathways international.

Rosemond Dabo is my name. I am a student of the University for Development Studies in Ghana, offering BSc Nursing and currently in year two.
I consider Educational Pathways International (EPI) Scholarship Program to be a God-sent financial aid to me in my life as it became a source of hope to my family and I at a point where all hope was lost. Before I had the scholarship scheme in November, 2019, my family was finding it very difficult to cater for me in school. There was this other side of the story that I might have even dropped out of school. But, thanks to EPI I am still in school and without a single worry as to how I will pay for my fees, accommodation, books and cater for myself and even my family.
Moreover, EPI through their general meeting that I attended not long ago I learnt how to write a CV, the need to save for the future, with determination I can achieve all my dreams. EPI has not only solved my immediate issues but has also given me the hope that I can surely become the Anesthetist I dream of becoming one day. I deem it a great privilege and responsibility to save the lives of my fellow humans in the near future.
But had it not been EPI, there would have been no iota of hope that the dream can be achieved. It is also my utmost dream and desire to help the less privileged and the needy. Before I had the scholarship, I used to wonder whether it is possible to contribute my quota through my dreams. But now, I have no doubt that I can and I will, it is all because EPI has given me a chance to make an impact in the future.
A very big thank you to EPI for the great opportunity given to me. I am highly grateful.

My success in gaining EPI scholarship award has impacted and transformed my life in several ways.
To begin with, it has help wiped out the financial difficulties my family was facing. I am in the person of Nancy Owireduwaa, a fourth year student of the University for Development studies, in the northern region of Ghana. I am currently studying Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science.
When I started my university education, I wouldn’t have been able to achieve my dreams due to the financial constrains my parents were facing. I applied for Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship when I was in second year and by God’s grace I was awarded the scholarship. I am now a proud beneficiary of this wonderful family. My financial barrier has been removed. Also being a member of this noble organization has transformed and impacted upon my live through series of meetings and seminars. In these seminars where we are taken through skills that will help us during our schooling and mostly after school. Some of the topics include; Report Writing, Entrepreneurship and Curriculum Vitae among others. My favourite topic is Entrepreneurship where I learned how to do something on my own to get funds for myself. This has made me want to become an independent person and establish my own business after school.
I also believe successful education is entirely dependent on clear setting of goals and relentless commitment towards achieving those goals. Another interesting topic we treated at one of our seminars.
While I am intrigue at the prospect of achieving academic excellence: distinction, my joy shall be made complete, when my colleagues could obtain excellence in their academic prospects as well. My primary goal will include a wholistic approach encompassing teaching assistantships for my colleagues and application of knowledge acquired to educate the indigenous of my community. I seek to achieve through academic integrity and avoid unhealthy struggles.
It is said that “when two brothers fight to death, a stranger inherits their property”. True excellence is not measured by the hoarding of knowledge but the free will of the scholar to share his knowledge with others. Albert Einstein, in his article: the world as I see it, was explicit on the importance of selflessness towards creation of a better world. I share in his ideology and thought, and I find myself brainstorming a hundred times a day, reminiscing and appreciating that my inner and outer life are based on the labors of other men, living and dead, and that I must exert myself in order to give in the same measure as I have received and am still receiving. My success in gaining this scholarship will buttress my ideology to offer more to the society than I receive from it collectively.
There are several career goals I would like to be achieved during my active service with national and global health directorates. The following are enlistment of some of my career goals:
I would like to instil discipline in my colleagues and subordinates. To be a leader in the laboratory setting, one is obliged to influence his subordinates to act in perfect alignment as dictated by Ministry of Health. I would endeavour to demonstrate discipline, punctuality, hard work and follow other code of ethics of this noble profession. I shall develop favourable attitude and cordial relationship between colleagues and clients likewise.
I would also like to help implement and abide any rules and regulation within my working environment. If it wasn’t for the kindness and love Educational Pathways International (EPI) has shown me, my academic goals and career goals wouldn’t have been reach

I am in the person of Joshua Anzagra Dery, a fourth year student of the University For Development Studies in the northern part of Ghana pursuing Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science. The value of education is something that I understood since at a very young age. Neither of my parents had an opportunity to attend High school and faced many struggles in their personal and professional lives because of this. They made a commitment early in my life to do everything within their power to instill in me love for formal education, learning and an understanding of the importance of hard work and dedication.

Because of their love and sacrifice over the years, I have been able to devote the time and energy necessary to academic accomplishment even though money has always been a challenge. I remain grateful to Educational Pathways International (EPI) for the tremendous assistance granted to me throughout my university education through the comprehensive scholarship that I have been enjoying these past years. It makes me feel that I am not alone on the journey of accomplishing my educational goals.

Educational Pathways International (EPI) has caused a great change in my life and that of my family. All hope was lost along the line during my first year days in the university. To God be the glory, this hope was restored after joining EPI family. Without support from EPI, life would have been hell in the university. My mother being the ultimate provider of the family, depends solely on her pito brewery (a local drink) to help cater for me, my father and other siblings who are still in the basic school. The meagre income she gets from this business is channeled into paying of fees making life unbearable for her.

I must therefore admit that, since I joined EPI, things have changed for the better. I do not think of how to pay my fees, accommodation, books and I do not think of how to eat before and after lectures and there is no financial burden on my parents for my education. This has also had a great improvement on my academics and performance at school,

I am highly grateful to the sponsors of Educational Pathways International (EPI), for their enormous support by transforming my life and that of my family and for helping me to realize what has been a long term dream for me.

When I got admission into the University of Ghana after a successful completion of Senior High School with excellent results, my education was greatly threatened because of lack of finance. My mother and father are old and so are literally living from hand to mouth from the peasant farming they are into. I therefore had to wait until they were able to raise money for my school fees or till a “Good Samaritan” came by and helped me out. This however did not stop me from exploring other avenues to further my education.

Fortunately, I came across the Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship and without hesitation I applied and after a series of interviews, I was awarded this wonderful scholarship. Since then it has always been one memorable experience after the other with this family.

First of all this family completely turned my life around for the better. In helping me pay my school fees, accommodation, books and also afford some crucial needs on campus, my parents were relieved of the burden of having to toil and borrow to fund my education as has mostly been the case. I must also add that it was under this life changing scholarship program that I got to own my first ever laptop computer. I no longer have to depend on friends to have my assignments typed or to do research on the internet. The scholarship also enabled me to pay for my accommodation in one of the best halls of residence on campus and that has greatly relieved me of the headache of having to travel several kilometers to school and back.

Moreover, ever since I was taken into the family I have never for once felt I was hundreds of kilometers away from home since EPl has made school home for us. At EPI, we are not just assisted financially but academically, socially and emotionally. Our Program Director has been a mother to all of us in so many different ways. Despite her very busy schedule, she has always made time to be with us collectively and individually. We have been constituted into a big family of young individuals working to make the world around us a better place.

With EPI, my future rests on solid grounds and I intend making the best of this invaluable opportunity. My hopes have been reestablished and goals rekindled and I will do anything within my power to make sure many more children get the help they need wherever they are on the globe. I want to be able to reach out to the brilliant but financially lame child wherever they are. I want to be hope to the hopeless, help to the helpless, a smile on the face of the sad and a propelling force to the depressed. These are some of my future goals.

Coupled with the above, I have also made a firm resolve to be one of the outstanding voices of health in Ghana and beyond. My key goal is to reduce the number of preventable deaths in my community, Ghana, Africa and the world at large by a great percentage. Under the auspices of EPI I have started internships with hospitals during the vacations and that has kept me ahead in the clinical practice.
My key goal in life had always been to put myself in the best position to serve humanity in the best way possible and every step I take each day is geared towards achieving that goal.

In conclusion, I thank the benefactors, sponsors, donors of Educational Pathways International, and our Program Director, staff of the Students Financial Aid Office at University of Ghana and everybody working for the sustenance of this great course. You have all in diverse ways been instrumental in making living testimonies out of hopeless situations for brilliant and financially challenged Ghanaian university students.

I am Oscar Awindenaba Akanyeh, a level 200 bachelor's of arts in Economics and Insurance student of the university of Ghana-Legon.
I am a beneficiary of the Educational Pathways International(EPI) scholarship program.  I would like to deliberate on why I have chosen the course I am currently studying, how EpI is moulding me towards achieving academic success and goals and who I will be after school as well as what I would do for Mother Ghana and my community.
Firstly, There are bound to be scarcity of resources in every human society relative to wants and that there is an opportunity cost to every activity undertaken by humans. Economics therefore teaches us on how best we can use our limited resources to satisfy the unlimited wants. It therefore equips us with knowledge on how best and efficient to use our unlimited resources and which activity to undertake in order to derive the highest possible benefit. In this same human society, there are bound to be uncertainties some of which may have devastating effects. Through my study of Insurance, I would gain more knowledge to be able to appreciate the course, and to help people understand and also appreciate the need to make provisions for supervening events which may cause serious damages through an Insurance policy so that they would be indemnified in case of any loss.
I have ,therefore, chosen the course because I take interest in them and that there are available job opportunities.
Educational Pathways International(EPI) has offered me financial support.  EPI, pays my tuition fees, accommodation and feeding fees. This reduces the stress of having to worry about where my tuition fees as well as my accommodation and feeding fees would come from. It has also reduced the stress of having to come from home to school to have lectures. This support gives me freedom of mind to study and this has gradually improved my academic performance.
EPI organized series of lessons apart from the normal lectures to take us through the practical aspect of life. Some of  these lessons include, report writing, entrepreneurship, top five social skills employers need. It is our goals that we get employed in our respective fields of study, and these lessons expose me to real employment indicators.
We are also required to maintain a minimum of second class upper in order to maintain the scholarship through out our degree program. This keeps us alert and makes us set high targets for ourselves. By so achieving this, I would also in a way become the economist and Insurance policy analyst I so desire to be.
With all these benefits, I would like to congratulate, in a special way, the benefactors of Educational Pathways International for their generosity. I would also strive to be academically successful so that their sacrifices are not wasted. From this examplery life so exhibited by the benefactors of EPI, I would not hold back my support from that poor Ghanaian child who cannot  go to school because of lack of money as far as my ability may allow me.
Thank you.

Educational Pathways International (EPI) is a nonprofit Organization that provide comprehensive scholarships for students in the universities who are gifted and needy. This organization has made it a point to put smiles on the faces of these needy and brilliant students by supporting them financially, academically, morally and socially through guidance and counselling, mentorship programs and seminars that they organize for the students.

As a beneficiary, I have had the opportunity to learn a lot from the mentorship programs and seminars that they organize for us. Some of which include, Public Speaking, How to Work in a Team, and also How to be an Entrepreneur. From this, I learnt how to create and develop my own business plans and also the qualities I need to be a good Entrepreneur. We were also thought good morals such as respecting and obeying elders, avoiding bad influence and as well as focusing on our goals and working hard towards achieving them.

Excursions are also organized periodically for us to go to places of our choice as form of recreation and socialization.

Being a beneficiary of Educational Pathways International (EPI) has brought a significant impact in my life and that of my parents as well. This scholarship has eased my burden on my parents, especially those related to my university education. This scholarship has also improved my academics tremendously. The mentorship programs organized for the beneficiaries has helped me to identify the best ways of studying. I identified that, studying in a group is one of the best way I study and also how to manage my time well in terms of studying effectively. I can boldly say it has helped me a lot. Honestly, I feel very unique among my course mates and school mates, looking at what I have learnt so far from this mentorship programs. I believe, I will be able to work effectively and actively in any field that I find myself in the job market.

As a young lady, I have dreams of helping to improve the Agricultural sector in my country, even though I still have a long way to go in achieving my goals. But I believe with the Educational Pathways International support and training I will be able to achieve this dream. My parents and I will forever be grateful to Educational Pathways International for the good done to us. Long live Educational Pathways International. Thank You.

After I graduated from high school, I became certain that if I want to pursue a higher education I need to be persistent and determined to achieve my career aspiration. However, I would not be at this level in my education without the help of Educational Pathways International (EPI) Scholarship. EPI has made my university education very simple and easy, they have provided me with not only financial support for my education but psychological support as well as guidance and counselling.

Moreover, with the scholarship given to me by EPI, my parents have channeled their meagre income to cater for my other siblings and also gained the right to education. EPI has made it possible for the lives of everyone in my family to shift to its right path.

I am grateful to find an opportunity like this that EPI is offering. I am working harder, so that I can continue on my pathway to accomplishing my career goals. I want to give back to my society and my country as a whole. The first health project I want to accomplish throughout my career as a Doctor is to establish a free clinic in my community where affordable medical care and assistance can be provided regardless of the patient’s financial status, the diverse health medication, and nutritional classes to prevent the presence of diabetes or heart diseases.

The second biggest career goal that I want to accomplish is to establish a non-profit organization where I can create internships for medical students around Ghana, and allow them to travel to isolated communities in the country to provide free medical services. I also want to provide nutrition education to support the marginalized communities. This would help contribute to the physical development of children and offer a remedy to malnutrition.
Thank you.

Ase Seidu is my name. I am a final year student of the University For Development offering BSc. Nursing. This is my 3rd year of being a beneficiary of the Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship, since joining the scheme in 2016. It has been a wonderful journey with Educational Pathways International scholarship these past years.

Life before enrolling onto the Educational Pathways International scholarship was very difficult, full of financial constraints and economic hardships. Joining Educational Pathways International scholarship has made me financially sufficient, translating into both my academic and social life. With the financial benefits of Educational Pathways International scholarship aside, we’ve been given a lot of coaching and guidance in our studies and towards preparing us for the job market. These trainings and seminars, we get freely through the visits of the country Director to our campus every trimester. To mention a few, we have had the opportunity of learning about time management, entrepreneurship, public speaking and some skills employers look out for in the job market.

Helping people has always been one of my core values, for this reason I chose to be in the health sector by studying nursing in order to be able to care for the sick. Later in my career and educational life, I want to progress in the educational ladder by obtaining a Master’s degree and a PhD in nursing. After achieving such heights in my education and career, I will wish to turn to our educational sector (training colleges and universities) to help train qualified and competent nursing students and other healthcare professionals for our healthcare system.

If not for the Educational Pathways International scholarship, I don’t know where I would have been and the kind of life I would be living by now. I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to Educational Pathways International for keeping these dreams of mine alive and to beseech all and sundry in the corporate world to support Educational Pathways International in this course of changing the world through education, for education is the most powerful weapon for changing the world.

Long Live Educational Pathways International Scholarship.

My name is Ase Seidu. I am a third year BSc. Nursing student at the University for Development Studies (UDS). I joined the Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship family in the 2016/2017 academic year, when all hope seemed to have been lost for me. Since joining this family, I can joyfully say things have been better for me and my family in all aspects of our lives, for this we are ever grateful to Mr. and Mrs. Lafrance and all stakeholders who are committed to helping this course.

As quoted by Dr. Kofi Annan, "Knowledge is power. Information is liberating. Education is the premise of progress, in every society, in every family."
My family and society would have lost this hope in me, if not for the timely intervention of Educational Pathways International Scholarship. Since joining the Educational Pathway International scholarships in 2016, there has been enormous improvements in my social life, economic life and more importantly my academic life.

I vividly recall stating in my application letter (for the EPI scholarship) how my mother, a single parent used to take loans in order to support me in my education, how my could not afford certain basic things, how I used to borrow handouts and study materials from course mates to read when they were less busy, how I used to skip some educative seminars just because I could not afford the participation fee and how my future and that off my younger sister who had gained admission to a training college hung in the balance because of the financial constraints we faced.

Now with the Educational Pathways International full scholarship, I can afford everything that a student needs to make life comfortable and bearable. And from what I receive from the Educational Pathways International scholarship, I can now send some allowances to my younger sister at the teacher training college for her up keep.
I would therefore wish to use this opportunity and medium to beseech all and sundry in the corporate world to support Educational Pathways International in this course of changing the world, for education is the most powerful weapon for changing the world.

Growing up, I always aimed at becoming a health professional to contribute my quota to humanity. Getting admission to study Bsc. Nursing at UDS was a great step towards the right direction for me, because if for nothing at all, after completion of my education at this level I will become a Registered General Nurse (RGN) in Ghana, which will mean goal achieve. I will also climb higher in education after this level of education.

After achieving such height in my education and career, I wish to turn to our educational sector (training colleges and universities) to help train qualified and competent nurses and other healthcare professionals for absorption into the healthcare system.
In accordance with the goals outlined, I am working tirelessly to gain all the necessary skills and requirements in order to advance from this level and make this dream a reality but as quoted in the Holy Quran that, "they plan and Allah plans. Surely, Allah is the best of planner", these are my plans Allah, so help me.

Long Live Mr. and Mrs. Lafrance.
Long Live Educational Pathways International Scholarship.
Long Live Ghana.

Charles Sambo is my name, a third year Nursing student of the University for Development Studies, Ghana. I joined this noble family, Educational Pathways International (EPI) in the 2017/2018 academic year and since then my life has never been the same. Before I got enrolled on this great opportunity of being a beneficiary of this scholarship, life in the university was so though that I felt like giving up, since I couldn’t pay my school fees neither my accommodation but Educational Pathways International put a smile on my face and brought me hope again.

My dream of becoming a Nurse wouldn’t have seen light if not for the intervention of Educational Pathways International scholarship. My major academic goal is that one day I would become a Cardiologist which has already begun with me having a degree in nursing. Educational Pathways International has always kept me moving and aspiring for higher goals.

The scholarship has done a lot for me for the past two years, in that I have been able to pay all my school fees, accommodation fees, books and stipend on time which always relieve me of the stress and depression I used to go through to get my fees paid. This has improved my studies and performance as well.

The financial constraints in the family did not only affect my educational life but also that of my siblings, but with the support of EPI my parents have being able to start some business which they use to support the young ones after me. The fear that some would have to terminate their education for lack of money to pay fees is not spoken of in the family anymore, for EPI has made us see light at the end of the tunnel when all hope was lost.

One of my greatest desire is that one day in future I would be able to put up a clinic where the people in my community can access quality healthcare. When I was awarded this scholarship, I started to see my dream come through since EPI expected me to contribute back to society as a way of helping others in the same situation, I used to find myself. This is to say that with the help of EPI I will become a productive citizen contributing to the socio-economic development of my community and the country at large.

Educational Pathways International has also impacted my life through seminars that are already preparing me for the job market. Through those seminars, I have the realization that I need not to be employed before I start life but I can be self-employed through the entrepreneurial skills we have been taken through by EPI Program Director. EPI seminars have also impacted my life in the area of time management which is a key ingredient to the success of every endeavor one finds himself or herself. I am so proud to be a beneficiary of EPI, because aside the financial support, I am also given training to fit the job market.
Thank you.

I am a student at the University of Ghana (Legon), with the name Edith Enyonam Salu at the College of Humanities. I am in the second year offering Political Science and French.

I loved to further my knowledge in French and in Governance because I love French but along the way I realized that it was not just a desire I had, but a purpose hence I chose French and Political Science as a Programme. I therefore intend to become a bilingual Lawyer or a bilingual Secretary in the future.

After school I intend to continue with my education to at least the master's level. Even as I think about my future I intend to help my community in the Volta Region with portable water since some people use either the rained water or the water from wells.

Educational Pathways International (EPI) sponsorship has helped me both emotionally, psychologically and financially. As a young lady growing up with a lot of visions I became stranded on the way since I had no help to continue with my education as my family is faced with financial challenges. With the help of EPI scholarship I am strengthened to believe in myself and my capabilities and to move on in life with all boldness.

I have no financial worries now and I sometimes help my sibling with pocket money since he is also a student and is passing through the same situations as I was. I have the free mind to develop my skills because I have the time I would have used to earn money for my books now and to develop my skills and this is because EPI has helped to give me a stable mind.

To add to the numerous helps offered by this scholarship scheme, their monthly teachings each semester has given me an opened mindset of what the job world is about, how to effectively manage my time and how to present myself to the public and corporate world. I am happy to have learned these from EPI.

I appreciate Educational Pathways International for the full scholarships and opportunity given to students and the best I can do is to study hard so that in the future I could also be part of helping students as EPI has helped me this far.

I go by the name Grace Bamfo - Ennin. I am currently in third year pursuing Law (LL.B) at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

I have been a beneficiary of Educational Pathways International (EPI) for three years and EPI is the best package of a scholarship scheme any student can benefit from.
Since I became a member of the EPI scholarly family, I have only had a sound mind and steady improvement on the academic ladder in becoming a seasoned Lawyer.

Educational Pathways International, typical of a scholarship scheme which provides its beneficiaries with financial assistance, goes the extra mile to ensure that her beneficiaries are equipped with the basic skills and values needed to make us relevant youths in our societies.

The seminars we have monthly in each semester and the annual luncheon organised respectively, bring us together as a family and enable us deliberate on pertinent issues about our lives as a whole.

Personally, EPI has shed more light on some of my potentials as a gifted student through the seminars the national Director brings on board.

I recommend EPI to all and sundry. It is simply the best.

My name is Grace Bamfo - Ennin. I am in second year pursuing Law at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. I was enrolled into Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship scheme in my first year at the university.
I always say that EPI is a miracle that came my way at the right time. When there was very little hope of actually coming to the University in the first place due to financial constraints, I was very fortunate in the end to be awarded with a scholarship from EPI. My mother keeps reiterating that the scholarship is actually hers and not mine because looking at the circumstances in which Educational Pathways International came my way, it seemed more of an answer to her incessant prayers and now she is very confident that EPI can assist her daughter realize her dream of becoming one of the excellent Lawyers our country has ever known.
Coming from a background where there are very few literates and barely anyone climbing up the academic ladder, I am laid with a burden to come up higher and effect a change in my environment. The thought of becoming the first Lawyer in my family in fact brings so much motivation and encouragement and propel me to give my best. It has not been easy and the course has been thrilling as well as exhilarating, however the joy of being awarded with the crown of sweet victory at the end pushes me forward.
Now I look into the future and I see a good Lawyer and smile because gradually I'm getting there. Educational Pathways International has been very instrumental in making me to become who I've always dreamt of. Aside the remunerations that beneficiaries are awarded, we also have the opportunity of having a seasoned Coordinator meet up with us every now and then to impart unto us and the standard demanded of us can only bring out the best in us.
In conclusion, Educational Pathways International is the best non-profit organization in the world and they leave indelible marks in the lives of their beneficiaries.

I am Kennedy Amankwah, a second year student offering Bachelor of Science in Administration at the University of Ghana (Legon), Accra, Ghana.

I completed senior high school in 2016 but could not continue my education that same year due to financial challenges even though I had very good grades. I started doing all sorts of minia jobs just to be able to further my education in to the university. I worked and saved for a year and with help from my mother, I gained admission into the University of Ghana.

When I heard of Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship, I decided to take advantage of it apply. After series of interviews and the necessary requirements, I was awarded a comprehensive scholarship. EPI scholarship has really helped me a lot. Now my mother need not to worry about how to fund my university education as long as I continue to show academic excellence and remain on this scholarship.

The scholarship has really made me feel comfortable and given me the peace of mind to be able to study without bothering about financial issues.

Growing up, I used to like calculations and admire people who are into Accounting and that ignited my interest to study BSc. Administration (option in Accounting) so that I can become an Auditor in the future. With the support EPI is granting me, I am on my way to making my dreams a reality if I work very hard.

I want to use this opportunity to thank the heads and workers of EPI scholarship scheme and all the donors who are helping to bring hope to some of us. I say God richly bless all of you and replenish your resources.

My name is Abubakar Shaibu, a first year Medical Laboratory Technology student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana.

I joined Educational Pathways International (EPI) family in November 2018 and since then, the scholarship scheme has been helpful to me in so many ways.
EPI family has helped improved my social and educational life. I have had the opportunity of meeting other students from diverse backgrounds and with different cultures. It has moulded me as a person/student of knowledge.

General meetings are a thing of fun and education. It has presented me with the opportunity of learning from different people and about things outside the classroom. It has enabled me to learn about the corporate world and what happens after school, what to do after school, how to fit into the competitive world outside school and how to achieve my dreams.

I had a dream of making an impact in medical diagnostic services in my locality and Ghana as a whole when I was growing up. I have never felt really close to that dream like I feel right now. Educational Pathways International scholarship has taken me a step closer to that dream. The scholarship scheme has ignited the little hope I had in me as a young man from northern Ghana. It has given me the opportunity to learn from companies/institutions at home during long vacations through internships.

No feeling beats that feeling of satisfaction you get when giving back to the society that you came from. It is a responsibility of every human to help his/her society and to a larger extent his/her mother land. That is why I want to give back to the society in any way possible after school. I intend to help make diagnostic services easily accessible and to greater extent free for the less privileged in my locality as one of my long term plans.

I want to say a big thank you to Educational Pathways International for helping my dreams come true.

I am Thomas Liyajabale Waliba, a second year student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Ghana, pursuing BSc. Geomatic Engineering. Indeed Educational Pathways International (EPI) has been a great blessing to me and to my entire family and I am very grateful to be a beneficiary of the EPI. Through the full scholarship that EPI offered me I have been able to settle all my debts owed on school fees, accommodation and others and the issue of having to work during school hours and missing lectures in the quest to get my fees and rents paid has been solve. I have all the learning materials that I need for my studies and also a stipend for my upkeep at school. I have the free hours in the day for my studies with no need to worry about anything and my family too is happy that I do not have financial problems at school any longer, all thanks to EPI my results has improved.

Geomatic Engineering deals with Geographic Information System (GIS), surveying and modelling of spatial data and the reason I chose the program is that, GIS is needed in the health sector, banking sector and any other places where geo-related information may be needed.

On graduation I would like to be a consultant in Geomatic Engineering Services by applying my knowledge in Geographic Information System in the Health Sector to help in studying disease spread patterns, and other areas that my services may be needed.

I would like to appreciate Educational Pathways International for their support and contributions to my education and for the opportunity they have given me to pursue my undergraduate degree, without their support it would not have been easy for me, and I have hope for a better future through the benevolence of EPI.

I write this piece as a student of University For Development Studies of the Wa campus, in Ghana. My name is Abdul Rahim Imoro, a 4th and final year student studying BA Integrated Development Studies (option in Social Administration).

Educational Pathways International (EPI) has been a great opportunity in my educational journey. It all started in 2016 when I applied for the scholarship package to aid me continue my education.

I was very fortunate to be part of those who were selected out of 58 applicants in 2016.

My education was on a time bomb and I was afraid it could come to a halt. This was the year I could not pay for my school fees hence the higher possibility of me being withdrawn from the university. Then came the intervention of EPI scholarship which took care of my university education.

In addition, through the mentoring and the support given to me by Educational Pathways International, I have been able to establish a Non-profit organization called Infinite Research Institute in Ghana with its main focus on research, advocacy and humanitarian activities.

Educational Pathways International as an organization has been so helpful to me in many ways including taking us through life changing topics I our seminars and most of all investing in my educational career.

I have been very thankful to Educational Pathways International for this wonderful opportunity.

I am Akua Gloria Annan, a final year student of English with a minor study in Political Science at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Ghana. I was enrolled on the Educational Pathways International scholarship in October 2017 and my story so far has been incredible. The Educational Pathways International scholarship is committed to supporting, and empowering students from less financially endowed families in Ghana to make them useful to themselves, their families, and nation. It also instills the habit of ‘giving-back-to-society’ in its beneficiaries through internships while they are still in school. The scholarship program organizes meetings/seminars for its beneficiaries on significant topics such as entrepreneurship, career development, investments, etc.
My mother is a single parent and her income from a scale food vending is relatively insufficient to finance my education and accommodation expenses. Thanks to Educational Pathways International’s fully-funded scholarship. I have paid my tuition fees for the 2018/2019 academic year and hostel accommodation, purchased the required reading materials and other learning aids and a stipend for daily upkeep which has reduced the financial burden on my mother. That notwithstanding, I have paid my mother’s rent for the year 2019, purchased an international franchise to start a network marketing business with SuperLife World Network Company and also saved a portion of it.
The greatest among these benefits is that I have improved in my academics tremendously since I have been privileged to study in a financially-sound ambience. For the first semester of 2018/2019 academic year, I have been declared the Best Academic Achiever.
I chose to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in English (with political science) because it would offer a strong foundation for my further legal studies. This is because a mastery of language and the right public relations skills with a knowledge of the inter-relationship between language and society are essential in the practice of Law. I would like to become a Lawyer and human rights activist most importantly advocating for the rights of the vulnerable in society. I intend to embark on an empowerment and mentorship project in my community purported to educate the youths on how to make themselves useful to their communities, orient them on the available opportunities for them at the tertiary level.
I much appreciate the Educational Pathways International scholarship opportunity for transforming my life and my family’s. Without it, my hopes of a brighter future and dreams of a better world would have been devastated.

I am in the person of Dery Anzagra Joshua, a third year student of the University For Development Studies in the northern part of Ghana pursuing Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science. The value of education is something that I understood since at a very young age. Neither of my parents had an opportunity to attend Secondary or High school and faced many struggles in their personal and professional lives because of this. They made a commitment early in my life to do everything within their power to instill in me love for formal education, learning and an understanding of the importance of hard work and dedication.

Because of their love and sacrifice over the years, I have been able to devote the time and energy necessary to academic accomplishment even though money has always been a challenge. I remain grateful to Educational Pathways International (EPI) for the tremendous assistance granted to me throughout my university education.

I do not think of how to pay my fees, accommodation, books and I do not think of how to eat before and after lectures and there is no financial burden on my parents, as to how to keep me in school and how to provide money for my upkeep.

I am highly grateful to the sponsors of Educational Pathways International (EPI), for their enormous support by transforming my life and that of my family and for helping me to realize what has been a long term dream for me.

My name is Roselyn Davour. I’m a second year student of University of Ghana. I am studying BSc. Dietetics. I completed high school successfully with the intention of proceeding to the university to read dietetics. However, I was worried about how this was going to be possible since I lost a parent immediately after I graduated from high school and there was financial instability.
I applied for the Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship. I went for the interview and I was selected! Every year, my tuition, accommodation, books are paid for by EPI and I’m also given a stipend all I have to do is study very hard. Having this scholarship has really helped me. It has motivated me to study hard. Also, it has reduced the burden on my mother since she doesn’t have to worry about how she will get money to cater for my educational needs.
Aside the financial support, EPI has created a family for all beneficiaries in my school. We have meetings where we learn a lot of life-transforming lessons such as public speaking, efficient time management, etc. The public speaking lesson for instance has helped me a lot especially during presentations. I am able to speak confidently in public and express myself articulately during presentations. The meetings also have helped me to socialize and interact with other beneficiaries who are very lovely and supportive.
I’m very grateful to Educational Pathways International for making this possible. Just when I thought all hope was lost, EPI put a smile on my face and that of my family and I’m studying hard to become a successful person so that I can also touch the lives of people just as EPI has touched my life. Thank you so much EPI.

Elizabeth Pomaa Nti is my name, a third year student of the University of Ghana studying BSc. Nursing. First of all, I am very grateful to the Almighty God for granting me such an opportunity to be part of Educational Pathways International (EPI) Scholarship. After admission into the University, payment of fees was not an easy thing and all I hoped for was to have a scholarship so I can be able to settle the other fees in the years ahead. But God paved a way.
EPI has not been a blessing to me alone but my family as well. EPI has brought a great joy and happiness into my family and the support from them is even more than expected. Aside the financial support, EPI has also equipped me with the social skills through organization of seminars where topics such as public speaking skills, time management, CV writing amongst others are discussed. Achieving of academic excellence, counselling and motivation of members cannot be left out of the support EPI offers to its beneficiaries.
All of these have equipped me with the necessary skills and has really brought a great change into my life. I strongly adhere to the fact that with God, hard work and determination I will be able attain a higher level in my education and become a successful person in future. Also, I will give a helping hand to the needy and brilliant students as well as giving back to society what it has offered me through voluntary health screening activities and others.

My name is Amina Mohammed a final year Education student of University for Development Studies,Ghana. I am from a family of eight. My father is a Mechanic whereas my mother is a housewife. I gained admission in the year 2014 to purse the above mentioned program. Money to pay for my admission and accommodation was really a problem but I was able to struggle and get to the second year. At the beginning of my second year, life became worst for my family.  I was called by our faculty officer who informed me about a scholarship offer. I quickly applied and came for an interview and Allah being so good I sailed through.

I joined Educational Pathways International (EPI) in 2015 they took care of my tuition, accommodation, books and feeding fee. Life became so easy since I did not have to call home for money. I have been under the scholarship scheme for up till date and it has helped my family since I am not a burden on them again.

Every month EPI organises seminars for us through our noble Program Director in person of Madam Eunice. We treated topics like goal settings, time management among others. These topics have really impacted in my live because I always set goal in everything I do. I also manage my time very well.

My goal in life is to become a Teacher thanks to EPI it is just left with few months to achieve that goal though it will not end there more achievement is yet to come.

EPI is really a lifesaving scholarship scheme. God bless EPI. Long live EPI.

My name is Alhassan Kamilu, a final year Applied Chemistry student of University for Development Studies (UDS), Ghana.
As the 5th student in my native community to gain entry into a tertiary institution, I was fortunate to be awarded a scholarship by Educational Pathways International (EPI). Before luck smiled upon me, my family was in great financial crisis as my younger sister was in her final year in Senior High School and my elder sister also had admission into the Polytechnic at the same year.
Fortunately for me, I became a beneficiary of EPI scholarship in 2015, when I was in the second year. My parents then had to concentrate on my sisters only. As of now, my younger sister is aspiring to become a health assistant and my elder sister is already a national service personnel as she graduated from Tamale Polytechnic last year. Currently, I am in my final year and very focused on my studies owing to EPI's support.
Apart from financial assistance, the seminars organised periodically every trimester for EPI beneficiaries contributed immensely towards attaining my undergraduate education so far. I have learnt a whole lot from these seminars including but not limited to goal setting, time management and career guidance. With these tips, I have always planned every trimester, setting both short and long term goals that I expect to achieve at the end of the trimester.
Also, one of the requirements of EPI scholarship is that beneficiaries maintain a particular grade point average every trimester, this propels me to perform academically well and to work consistently towards completing my first degree within the allotted time with a better grade.I intend graduating with a good grade, presumably, a first class or second class upper and pursuing both my Master’s degree and Doctorate degree. My career goal is to become a Researcher in the field of synthetic chemistry.
Thank you EPI, I am very appreciative of your support and I will strive hard to be able to offer a helping hand to needy students someday.

I am Francis Aheto, a final year BSc. Food Science and Technology student of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana. Had it not been for the timely intervention of Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship program, I would have dropped out of school by now, due to the financial inadequacy and insolvency of my family. Being a beneficiary of this scholarship program has greatly alleviated the financial burden and emotional stress of my parents. If not for EPI's financial aid, the indebtedness of my parents by now, due to the aggregated sums of money they would have borrowed from friends and microfinance agencies would have prevented my younger sister from being able to continue her education to the Senior High School.

The amazing thing is that EPI has highly contributed to my academic success of being the top student of my class presently. With the funds received from EPI in my second year at the university for instance, I was able to purchase a laptop which has been a great asset for my studies and academic research works since then.

My career goal is to become a Dietician and Nutraceuticals Researcher focused on developing functional foods from underutilized local crops, to help in reducing the high micronutrient malnutrition in Ghana and Africa at large.

EPI is not like any other charity organization that merely provides financial aid without checking up on the intellectual growth and leadership skills training of their beneficiaries. From the grooming I have received from EPI, I have become more confident, diligent and psychologically prepared for the job market.  The love EPI has shown me so far, has inspired me to contribute my selfless quota in the founding of  "Aid Hub Ghana", a student charity organization that is aimed at providing primary schools in rural communities with requisite teaching and learning materials.

With the professional goals setting guidance, emotional support and confidence boosting training that I continue to receive from being part of EPI family, I definitely have hope for a better future.

Thanks to the benefactors of EPI and their team. God bless EPI.

It is with utmost joy and gratitude that I write this review about a scholarship I consider to be a blessing to the lives of many needy and brilliant Ghanaian students. I am Marylyn Awuah Oduro, a first year Petrochemical Engineering student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).I was fortunate to join the wonderful Educational Pathways International (EPI) family the same year I gained admission to pursue this programme after successfully passing through the laid down selection process.
I had always wanted to be an Engineer since childhood. However being aware of the financial challenges facing my parents, I feared it might be of hindrance to my academic and career goals. l am aware of the massive financial and psychological support I need to achieve my goals thus I have always seek for the opportunity to be a scholar to further my studies to higher height. Fortunately, a developing country like Ghana have realised the numerous benefits of science and technology thus have embraced engineering.
It took a scholarship to see me through my senior high education. Due to financial issues, I had to stay home for a year after graduation. However, I applied and gained admission to the university the following year by the help of contributions and loans from family and friends. The joyful news of being given the opportunity to pursue Petrochemical Engineering at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) was indeed an unforgettable one. Thanks to the advertisement on the KNUST website, I got to know of Educational Pathways International (EPI) and what they stand for.
A nonprofit non-governmental organization (NGO) that seek to recognise, support and empower young people from needy families by providing them with full scholarships for the university education. In addition to this, frequent meetings are organized by EPI so as to equip beneficiaries with new ideas and skills to compliment what we acquire in class.
Considering my experience with EPI, I can boldly testify that it is a great family one is blessed to be a part of. This is because they do not only provide financial support but go the extra mile of offering advice, counsel and motivation thus shaping us for academic excellence and helping us achieve our career goals as well.
I believe with grace, hard work, determination and the support from EPI,I would be able to succeed in my academics and become a successful and responsible citizen to help the less privilege in the society and contribute towards national development.
My sincere and heartfelt appreciation goes to the executive body of EPI, other supporting bodies of this organization especially the benefactors, Mr. and Mrs. Lafrance, the one of a kind couple who seeks to unearth the potential in brilliant and needy student. It is my prayer that the Almighty God bless them and make them progress in their good works thereby encourage other able bodies to do same for the progress our dear nation. Thank you EPI.

I am Kennedy Amankwah, a first year student offering Bachelor of Science in Administration in the University of Ghana.

I completed senior high school in 2016 but could not continue my education that same year due to financial challenges even though I had very good grades. I started doing all sort of meagre jobs just to be able to further my education in to the university. I worked and saved for a year and with little help from my mother, I bought an admission form of University of Ghana and applied.

I got the admission and had to pay the fees and other related charges for me to become a student .My mother added to what I have saved and I came to school.

When I heard of Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship, I decided to take advantage of it because looking at the conditions at home and the fact that I'm a regular student I did not know where I was going to get the money for my fees, accommodation, books, and other upkeep expenses for the next academic year. Having gotten the scholarship has really helped me a lot. Now my mother need not to worry about how to fund my university education as long as I continue to show academic excellence.

The scholarship has really made me feel comfortable and given me the peace of mind to be able to study without bothering about my financial issues.

Growing up, I used to like calculating and admire people who are into Accounting and that ignited my interest to become an Auditor. But now with the support EPI is granting me, I think I am on my way to making my dreams a reality if I work very hard.

I want to use this opportunity to thank the heads and workers of the EPI scholarship scheme and all the donors who are helping to bring hope to some of us. I say God richly bless all of you and replenish all that is lost by giving such a wonderful support to us

Thank you
