Cuatrogatos is doing a great job to promote literature for children in Miami. I highly recomend this organization.
I have had the privilege and honor to work with Cuatrogatos Foundation for many years. I have seen first hand how Cuatrogatos has worked with students at different Miami-Dade Public Schools. Cuatrogatos brings the love of literature to students at the Elementary, Middle and High School levels, and also to the teachers at the schools they visit. I have also participated in the Summer Workshops conducted by Cuatrogatos for Miami-Dade County Schools teachers. These workshops have been the best ever offered in our community. I love the work Cuatrogatos does!
I have work with Fundación Cuatrogatos and know firsthand about their mission, enthusiasm and achievements. Cuatrogatos is my favorite Internet place. It keeps me up to date in everything related to Spanish children's books, authors, articles, news...
For me, as an author and reading promoter Cuatrogatos is useful, stimulating, essential and necessary. Keep going, amigos! We need you!
The Cuatrogatos Foundation is an essential bridge between writers, illustrators and editors of children and YA's literature all over Latin America and the Hispanic communities across the USA. They put us in touch with each other. Their Best Books list is a coveted honor and we all know that the only guideline is quality. All their activities are very well prepared, and they, themselves renowned authors and critics, personally lead the projects.
I trust them completely and every time I have worked along them they have enriched my life.
Fundacion Cuatrogatos has become a bridge to connect children with literature, art, books and their Hispanic heritage in the United States. Their contribution to the Latino community not only in Florida but across the United States embraces one of the biggest challenges in our fast pace lifestyles: To create and promote reading habits in children, to create readers in Spanish language.
Cuatrogatos Foundation also created an unique list of outstanding books originally written in Spanish that is released every year; school, libraries and organizations interested in promoting the Hispanic heritage in the United States wait for this list every year knowing that it has been the result of a long year of reviewing new books, the work of authors and illustrators from Latin America and Spain.
I have been honored to work with Cuatrogatos Foundation a couple of times, it's a very well organized institution and a necessity for our Latino community.
Cuatrogatos is a fabulous foundation, with which I have had the privilege of being able to work. They are truly dedicated to promoting reading and creating writing among kids and young people. I’ve always been delighted by the enthusiasm and professionalism they show in every event they host and put together. Foundations like this are absolutely necessary!
I have had the privilege of participating as a writer in activities organized and promoted by Cuatrogatos foundation, and I have come away impressed by their goals, their enthusiasm, and their effectiveness. They have proven themselves able to bring literature to the broader public, particularly the younger audiences. Francisco Larios
Fundación Cuatrogatos it’s not an option or an alternative, it’s a necessity, a must for new generations dangerously exposed to the emptiness seductions of influential sites of the virtual milieu. Reading and enjoying the fundamentals of imagination works like a gym for the brain, brings out the best in the human condition. Fundación Cuatrgatos works as a marvelous children’s guide to the stage of enchantment.
Cuatrogatos Foundation is an irreplaceable institution in Miami. They excel in the design of activities to promote culture and creativity especially among kids and young people. As director of he Spanish Cultural Center (CCEMiami) for the last four years and a half to collaborate with this foundation meant a well designed, well executed event and a total success.
Their international prestige and recognition in the professional literary world is very high as I experience every time I mention them to writers, editors and publishers in Spain, everyone knows them and consider them a reference in literature for kids and young readers.
Cuatrogatos has been, for many years, a kind of sailing ship, loaded with the most varied surprises for children of Hispanic origin and for those who are interested in learning the Spanish language in our community, who through this non profit organization have access to book parties, music, conversations with writers, theater plays, what previously did not exist in Miami. But I have not said everything, this foundation has become an indispensable framework for authors of children's literature in South Florida. It is through it that writers remain active in their contact with potential readers and with teachers and parents (mediators between the book and the reader) through workshops and talks. I hope Cuatrogatos Foundation will remain active for many more years for the benefit of our community.

Many thanks to Cuatrogatos Foundation for promoting awareness in the community about the importance of nurturing children and young adults’ spiritual growth through literature and the arts.
This is one of those organizations that excerpt a very positive influence in our children. They promote the love for reading, and for reading in Spanish. Through different activities with the children and the Spanish teachers, they provide strategies to motivate the learning of Spanish and the dissemination of its literature and its culture in general.
We all know that being bilingual only develops our brain, and thus helps the learning process of all other subject matters.
Last and not least, knowing Spanish in Miami is only an asset for any individual because of the characteristics of our ommunity
Thanks to the "Cuatrogatos Foundation" for helping others to be happier, especially children, by awakening love of reading and contributing to make the world better every day.
I have the privilege to participate in different ways with Cuatrogatos foundation's events.
The work Cuatrogatos is doing in pro of our community, authors and young readers is extremely accurate and necessary. I think that great foundations as Cuatrogatos should constantly receive funds and help in order to offer high-quality events for families and general audiences.
Cuatrogatos is truly dedicated to promoting reading and creating readership. I’ve always been amazed by the heart, creativity, and enthusiasm they put in organizing their fantastic programs. As a publisher, Santillana has supported their efforts because we share their mission and we believe in their ability to have an invaluable impact with every action. I hope Cuatrogatos stays active for a long time to continue enriching the cultural life of our community, especially our children. (Isabel Mendoza, Children's Books Director at Santillana USA)
"Cuatrogatos" has been developing its work consistently for several years, since it was founded by Sergio Andricain and Antonio Orlando Rodriguez.
Its goal is simple, but at the same time ambitious and -I would say-, sublime: nothing more and nothing less than to develop in children and young people - fundamentally - the pleasure of reading; give them the chance to discover and to be in contact with the best universal literature, and theater and develop in them the appreciation of art and music in general, as well as unveil to them the beauty and wisdom of other cultures.
All this, at such an early age, is the best legacy we can leave to our children.
It is not an easy task at all!
In our modern world, where the cultural mass media generally promote and support so many questionable values, like superficiality, rudeness and a mesmerizing pseudo-art, "Quatrogates" quietly and confident perform their giant and commendable work.
It is an honor for me to be invited to post my comment.
My best wishes of success for "Cuatrogatos" and their founders!
Keep up the good work!

We are born readers nor are born not readers; We are readers over time, taking the first steps in the early middle ages. For that reason it´s so important to accompany the reading of children by parents and teachers, but also with the involvement of associations as the Cuatrogatos Foundation, which, with its magnificent professionals and succesful activities, work by and for children and young people reading, It´s an exemplary Foundation in the promotion of reading in children, teens and youth that deserves all the support to develop their work.

As an author, publishing organizations like this one are vital to me and to my community. Cuatrogatos Foundation Inc. is an organization that considers its efforts carefully, does so much with so little and has an undeniable impact with every project and action. I cannot imagine Miami's (my particular city) cultural landscape without it. - Anjanette Delgado, Author
Hi, my name is Sergio Andricaín.
As director of Cuatrogatos Foundation, I am very proud of the work we have done in Miami Our cultural projects are aimed at the Miami community in general, but with special emphasis on children and young people because they will be the citizens of the future.
We like to work directly with children and young people, but also with their parents and teachers, because they have the mission of bringing them closer to art and transmitting civic values.
Cuatrogatos Foundation works with enthusiasm, but our financial resources are limited. That is why we need donations that allow us to grow and reach broad sectors of the population with our projects.
Since the beginning, Cuatrogatos Foundation has been a great option to promote reading and literature among the Spanish speaking children & young adults in South Florida. Each event they organize have attracted more and more audiences. This word-of-mouth promotion is a sign of the great quality & originality in all the innovative projects this foundation has accomplished in such a short time. I hope this organization lasts for a long time, to continue bringing the best in culture and education to the youngest generation.
I know very well Cuatrogatos Foundation. Their members work very hard to promote literature, reading and art for children.
