This organization, has truly opened my eyes on how there are others in need and how little but how important it is to help anyway we can. I'm glad that i chose this site, and proud of what the City Hall is doing for our community. I reccomend this site to everyone, very loving caring and most importantly you see the progress and a feel satisfaction volunteering here.
when i first volunteered for CIO i had no idea what i was getting into. I soon learned how fun the environment of the workplace was and how driven they where to hep people in need. This is the best workplace i have ever volunteered to.
CIO has to be one of the most driven organizations out there. They are determined to help others and go above and beyond to do so. They make sure to help the community as well each other. The students who volunteer from school all learn something new and look at things in a whole new way. I am very pleased and grateful to have been able to participate in the group and help with as much as i could. I recommend everyone to join and look into the organization because it will definitely make in impact on yourself, and on others.
I'm going to be as honest as possible, i had no idea what this organization was about until my first day volunteering. Oh boy, how i refused to go and the excuses i would make but after i met Iris and found out what her organization was about, i wish i wouldve joined earlier. This organization is really heart warming. it opens your eyes to the needs of the people and how you too can be a helping hand to a family. As human beings we forget the true values of life and forget to appreciate things but this organization motivates you to be a little less selfless and alot more giving. A little help can go a long way, its a pay it forward plan, once you help someone in need, then they are able to pay it forward into another person that needs it. Its an excellent choice to get involved and be aware of the needs of your community.
Iris is a very inspirational person, and she really changed my point of view towards helping out the community. She opened my eyes and made me realize that the community needs us, and we as human beings need each other to improve ourselves and where we live.
I believe this organization has opened my eyes and realized how important it is to help our community in every way we can. I had a wonderful time with my group on working on computer to help the Seniors have computer to use and learn how to use them . iris helped us have a place for us to do our service learning and making us feel important for the community . I am glad I got to help others and our community.
During the time I spent at this organization I had a wonderful time. iris aided with finding tasks to fit my major. We aided her in some projects. The experience helped and she gave her experience.
Community Improvement Organization truly stands tall next to their name. They definitely open their arms and welcome anyone in need, as well as go out of their way to reach out to those in need. I had a FANTASTIC time working with the organization helping to organize baskets of foods to be sent out to homes with financial needs during the week of Thanksgiving. I was more than delighted to give a hand and truly appreciated what this organization does; going above and beyond to help our community, from creating baskets to remodeling homes; they do it all. My experience was great and will definitely recommend this nonprofit to everyone.
I had a great experience with CIO. I was able to see newer horizons on how the community can be improved and recognized. With the friendly and easy to reach members, the project went great. We felt supported one hundred percent of the time.
you are surrounded in an atmosphere of just people who care and want to help the community and its fun anyway. after a while you learn to just have a smile on your face because you are helping those in need and not just pleasuring yourself. the president is really cool and you learn a lot from those who are experienced. i have done community service but service learning is different from it. you learn things about yourself and who you want to be. so i highly recommend you try it out sometime because it changed my life, im positive you can change someone else's life while your at it.
I had a phenomenal experience helping out the community with CIO. This non profit agency is really interested in helping the community and they do a very good job at it. I would recommend this organization to anyone who wishes to lend a helping hand to help the community or to anyone who is simply seeking community service hours.
This was a great opportunity for me to realize how many people need help in the community and this program was a great experience for me and my group. we helped out from old people to parents in need of food and supplies for them home for thanksgiving this was a life changing experience.
This organization really helps the people in need. I enjoyed my experience because they treat people with respect. I have been volunteer twice and I am willing to do it again.
The Community Improvement Organization helps the people in need. It is a fantastic organization that would do anything possible to help others. I enjoyed volunteering here.
Helping out the community was a great pressure for me and my group. Spending time with the elderly and talking to them made me realized how important nonprofit organizations are. The community needs our as much help as they can get. I had a good time overall, everything was organized and everyone was extremely friendly.
This organization was fantastic. it gives you many different opportunities to help the community doing activities you would like and enjoy. Also it works around your schedule making it flexible to participate on the activities.
Nonprofit organizations are usually looked down on by the younger youth, because they aren't get paid for their services. Today I've learned non profit organization ,is an organization put together to help the people in need or to help local neighborhood become a better place.
I had a good time helping out. Everything was organized and the staff was great. I think it's important what this organization is doing because not many people can afford food for their family, it's a very generous thing to do.
CIO was an incredible place to volunteer. Iris and John both genuinely care about the community and it is very visible. One may also learn about the different cases that happen in different clinics, corruption of clinics and how they do not really care about their patients. I enjoyed volunteering here and would recommend it to whomever needed to do a service.
