Cancer is a frightening and common disease. There are a lot of knowledge about cancer in databases for resarchers. But the knowledge may be so complicated for people other than professionals. CERI simplificates this data and makes it understandable. I saw the activities of volunteers and members of CERI, while I was looking at CERI website. I was impressed and asked myself what I could do. So I decided to be a volunteer of CERI.
I worked with Aygun for about 6 months or so as a volunteer. I helped w/ online journals and took part in her very informative lectures. She is a very professional, kind, hard working person. Her lectures/journals/articles, in different languages, reach out to those who need education and help on the matter. It was great pleasure and experience to work with her. I also believe that being a volunteer for such a non-profit organization is privilege for all ages as far as experience and doing good for the humankind.

They do great educational Videos and informational presentations for public awareness on cancer!
I had the privilege to get to know Dr. Ayguen Sahin personally and it is remarkable to see her passion and dedication to cancer research and education. Her videos on YouTube are extremely informative and provide a simpler picture of the otherwise intimidating medical language of cancer research. The organization is based in Cambridge, MA, and its accessibility in several languages, makes it outstanding in the field. I highly recommend visiting the website (http://www.canceredinstitute.org) and contacting them with any concerns – you will not be disappointed in the personalized attention you will receive to all your questions.
Provides many informative, well thought out and researched articles about all aspects of cancer research and current trends.
Ich gratuliere für die wunderbare Arbeit und wünsche für die Zukunft dieser einzigartigen Stiftung viel Erfolg und nur das Beste! Weiter so!!!!

Being a volunteer in The Cancer Education and Research Institute (CERI) is a wonderful opportunity for advancing in knowledge, and an outstanding experience in the field. Educational lectures, researches about cancer studies, and methodologies to promote knowledge about cancer and cancer prevention are crucial and very much needed in a simplified way for communities. With CERI, I have deepened my understanding of the importance of spreading scienfitic data in simplified words as much as possible to reach more and more people who try to find comprehensive information about cancer related studies.
Dr. Sahin's lecture on prostate cancer last week was outstanding. In the span of a couple hours I greatly increased both my awareness and understanding of this disease. She actually went into quite a bit more medical and scientific detail than I'd expected -- symptoms, treatment options, current research, avoidance, etc. -- but always in a manner which all could follow. Dr. Sahin is clearly motivated by the highest ideals, and this is reflected in the important, helpful work her organization provides.
Very good source of information. Excellent presentation at the seminar that I attended. Keep up the good work. God Bless!
It's plain as day that the lecture about prostat cancer was the best lecture I have ever joined. I've just gotten to know Cancer Research Simplified and I am so glad I did. I do appreciate every moment as a volunteer. I learned many things. After this lecture, I want to join all lectures of Cancer Research Simplified and continue to be a volunteer of this great organization. Thank you so much.
Cancer Research Simplified is a great nonprofit. They make lots of information available about cancer that would be difficult to find otherwise. Most importantly, you can trust the information they give you, which is never a given for things you could find by yourself through the web. And true to their name, their videos and posts always explain things in a way that anyone can understand. I've been following them from the start and I will keep doing so and so should everyone: unfortunately cancer is so diffuse now that it's almost guaranteed that each one of us will experience it up close, either in person or through a loved one. Knowing more can only help deal with it were you have to face it. And knowing more about prevention may save your life or the life of someone you love...
