“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.”
― Mahatma Gandhi
Our country has a long way to go. The Animal History Museum is a great start.
I highly recommend this non-profit. The focus and energy in understanding the bonds and relationships with the animals we live with and share our environment is amazing. Their board and volunteers are sure to lead the charge in a most impressive way!
I was delighted to learn of The Animal History Museum. We share our home planet with many species. Too often, we humans do not appreciate our impact on the creatures around us. Mankind has had it's long history intertwined with many animals. It is time to recognize their values.
If we are to evolve as a society, our circle of compassion must continually expand. The Animal History Museum is a fabulous up and coming organization that will educate, inform and inspire generations to come regarding our relationship with and treatment of non-human animals.
Animal History Museum is a truly unique entity that is dedicated to further exploring and educating the public about the human animal relationship throughout time. It is incredible how persevering this small, but growing, Museum is. As a volunteer, it is an honor to watch as Animal History Museum volunteers work tirelessly to further the cause of animal welfare. I believe in Animal History Museum wholeheartedly and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a worth cause to dedicate either their time or monetary donations to.
The Animal History Museum is an amazing organization. All of the volunteers and workers are so dedicated to the organization and passionate about what they do. They completely celebrate the relationship between animals and humans and want to spread the word about these established relationships. Their focuses are not merely on serious topics, such as animal rights, but their websites give access to silly and fun aspects of having pets and relationships with animals. I'm so grateful to have stumbled upon this organization and honored to have been able to work with everyone on the team!
Engaging and informative, this non-profit offers the public an in-depth look at how animals and humans help each other to live in today's society. We often take for granted those we care about the most and the little things that make life special. The Animal History Museum helps us to remember that compassion exists all around us. Through guest speakers, lectures, endearing photos and a sharp wit, we can take the knowledge they provide and turn it into a meaningful form of co-existence between animals and humans. Hats off to them for bridging this gap in a thoughtful, insightful manner.
The Animal History Museum, while a new organization, is exceptionally well organized with a clear mission to collect, preserve and document the rich and varied history of animals, and to present this history in permanent and traveling exhibits which educate and promote greater awareness and appreciation for the contributions of animals to society through the ages.
Working as a volunteer for The Animal History Museum, was a rewarding experience. During my time as a volunteer, I was acquainted with different organizations concerned with the welfare of animals. Being able to work with the museum's President, Amy Breyer, and see her passion for this organization was quite inspiring.
In addition to my volunteer work, I also attended a fundraiser, where I met many dedicated animal rights advocates who educated me about the impact that animals have had on human history.
This was one of the best volunteer opportunities that I've had, and it definitely increased my passion for animal rights and animal history.
