Perhaps, the most important global voice for animals that's out there. As essential in the non-profit world as the animals ADI protects are to the natural world.

Animal Defenders International (ADI) is one of the most professional and highly respected organizations in the animal protection and animal rights sector.

ADI takes a holistic approach to campaigns, utilizing their own staff resources to perform all aspects of a campaign from scientific and scholarly research, undercover investigations, presenting evidence to experts and lawmakers, carrying out animal rescue efforts, and caring for rescued animals.

ADI's success in banning all animals from circuses in Bolivia based on evidence secured in undercover investigations and the subsequent rescue and airlift of 29 lions from Bolivia to sanctuaries in the U.S. is a perfect case in point.

I am also impressed with the number of successful campaigns ADI executes, especially considering the organizations small number of staff members employed by the organization, and their small budget.

I highly recommend donating to and/or becoming a volunteer for this organization.

ADI exists to educate people about the suffering of animals and to protect animals and the environment. It is important for humanity to understand that this planet is shared – it belongs to the other species that live here, too. It is important for humans to show compassion for other species and learn to live alongside them in a more harmonious way. When we abuse animals and destroy the environment, we also harm ourselves, because our world is interdependent. Protection of animals from suffering and abuse is the right thing to do, and a worthy cause for the benefit of human society, as well as the other animals living on our shared world. It is nonsense to try to claim that a nonprofit like ADI is there to make money, our financials certainly make that clear! On the other hand, we are up against multi-million dollar businesses that are making a lot of money out of animal exploitation; they can change. FYI we are no longer in San Francisco, we are located in Los Angeles.

This is an organization of Animal Rights Extremists who would like to remove all human-animal interaction. They are not interested in the facts, or what is best for an animal, but instead they rely on lies and scare tactics to further their agenda and grow their bank accounts.

This is a great organization, one that is opposed to animal suffering, one that has the courage to recognize that animals are not ours to mistreat, abuse or test on. Animals have a right to quiet enjoyment on this Earth, we should recognize our power and execute our mercy.

Extremists who are taking people's money to further their own agenda and their pockets. They are trying to take animals out of our lives.
