We originally contacted ABCR about another dog posted on the website, and through conversations with staff and fosters, we were introduced to Molly as a potential fit for our household. Our dogs are family members with distinct personalities, who also have jobs on the farm. After losing our patriarch BC Rocky in 2014 at age 14, we obtained two more purebred BCs, and three "fake" BCs (don't tell them), all rescues from different groups. ABCR does an excellent job of knowing the breed, and individual personality traits of each dog to provide the best match for adopters. We were looking for a young active dog with herding instincts to be trained to work with our male BC, and Molly is just the match we were looking for. This sweet girl has the drive and work ethic, yet is very gentle with our fragile senior girl BC, and super playful with our rambunctious boys. ABCR has the best interest of the dogs and adopters at heart. They even helped arrange transportation from Texas to upstate New York, putting us at ease with a reputable and caring transport company. This is rescue done right! Photo credits to Julia Rigler photography for pictures of our beautiful girl when she was with her foster mom. Thank you ABCR!
