I was a feral cat raiser a few years ago, and 4 Paws 1 Heart was great in helping me with some of my kittens! They are wonderful human beings, and I contribute to them regularly for this very reason!
We adopted a beautiful boy who was supported by 4 paws 1 heart. His mother was very ill and passed when he and his litter mates were only days old. Fritz weighed only 6oz. With the dedication and love of Gina at along with the financial support of 4paws1heart, they all survived.
4 Paws 1 Heart is a wonderful organization of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly for the welfare of animals. They do phenomenal work!
There are truly no words to express my thanks & love for 4paws1heart! An amazing group of people who have come together for the all the right reasons, making such a difference in the lives of homeless & abandoned animals that everyone else gave up on! I feed strays & do outreach & rescue work which puts me in the right place at the right time for many needy/injured/abused animals, my most recent save with 4 paws BONES, bones was found at a gas station so sick he could hardly breath.. clinging to life completely emaciated, riddled with infection. The odds were against this kitten & i didn't think twice before rushing him home cleaning him up & doing what I could to get him through the night. I knew it wouldn't be enough & this babe needed a vet STAT! I wasted no time before reaching out to 4paws & with no hesitation was sent to the vet.... bones had such a bad URI it had traveled to his blood witch caused a tilt when he walked. The URI also made feeding bones & getting his body healthy enough to fight off this nasty infection hard. We tried so hard to save both eyes but one was just to far gone & needed to be removed. Again with no hesitation 4paws had the eye removed & bones continued to improve. After many meds/antibiotics, breathing treatments & eye surgery bones is a healthy boy who would be here today with out this wonderful group of people & their supporters! Thank you 4paws1heart we love you! *tried uploading pics it's not working:[*
The orange cat is carrot cake and the skinny cat is Oreo .. this wonderful organization helped these 2 cats.. carrot cake had a nasty eye infection and URI which were both treated and Oreo was infested with worms both cats we also fixed and vaccinated from 4 paws 1 heart.. i could not take care of so many outside cats without the assistance of this organization... (added edit) I thought I could add more than story.. this organization has helped me with more than these 2 cats.. ok so the pic with the box of kittens all fixed along with mom and all fully vetted so mom went to live with a neighbor plus 1 kitten the others were accepted into a rescue because they were fully vetted I got them in fast...orange kitten in live trap is Stewie as you can see his health was bad he’s 1 years old now and I kept him.. he was treated for URI and eye infection fully vetted and fixed along with mom and 2 other siblings..the pic with Logan he was a kitten who has frost bite damage on an ear. Fixed fully vetted and lives in my yard with many other cats 1 day he was extremely sick and 4 paws1 heart came to his rescue once again and paid for him to see a vet.. he’s a part of my family now as well.. there are many more I can share but I can only post 4 pics and do 1 review. Without this organization I would only be able to feed the alley and yard cats but because of 4 paws 1 heart they are all fixed and vaccinated and flea and worm free. Thank you 4 paws1 heart!!!
Hi I am currently 36 years old and have been fostering consistently, since I was 18 years old. In all the years I have been fostering, I've NEVER been associated with such an amazing program like 4 Paws 1 Heart! They're effective at so many things, from of course helping our furry friends to communicating with their fosters. I love working with them and I couldn't imagine a fostering life without them. My two daughters and I became acquainted with 4 Paws 1 Heart during the summer of 2016 and have been working very close with them ever since. We've fostered close to 75 kittens since that time and it has been 4 Paws 1 Heart who has covered the medical costs for our fosters. If you're looking for a wonderful cause, 4 Paws 1 Heart is it, hands down! We decided back in 2008 to never work with ANY orgs again, just due to the politics and hassle of everything. Frankly we were reluctant to work with 4 Paws 1 Heart and they QUICKLY changed our point of view. We thank them for that. This is the best group of people I've EVER had the pleasure of working with and then some!
Thank you 4 Paws 1 Heart! ❤️
Violet came into Macomb County Animal Control on June 22nd, 2017 as a stray, 3 week old kitten with what appeared to be an infected eye. The veterinarians at MCAC placed Violet on medications in hopes that the eye would heal while she was in foster. Weeks went by and her eye unfortunately did not appear to be improving and our veterinarian recommended seeking further treatment beyond our normal means. As many of you know, all of our animals at MCAC are completely vetted, however with situations such as Violets, we must reach out in hopes of donations for our 501 (c) (3) non-profit animal welfare fund to help cover major medical situations such as Violets. Officer Pylar reached out to Diana, Director & Founder of 4 Paws 1 Heart, in hopes of help with the surgical procedure. Without hesitation, Diana set up an apointment for Violets eye to be evaluated by a specialist. The specialist discovered that Violet had ruptured her eye in 2 separate places and removal would be the only option. Diana gave the go-ahead and the procedure was complete. Violet is now recovering in her foster home and will soon be available for adoption. Macomb County Animal Control would like to give an incredible thank you to 4 Paws 1 Heart, for everything you do for our community. Without your compassion, efforts and teamwork, amazing success stories such as Violets, would not be possible.
This is pip, he was born with a very large hernia and needed surgery along with all his vetting! This precious little guy wouldn't have survived without 4 paws 1 heart, Thank you for all the precious babies you've helped me save, bless your wonderful heart ❤️!
THANK YOU FUR YOUR HELP!! My rescue PAWtner and I spotted this little cutie pie Lucy, being given away to any taker at a paint car shop (left L pic) in a less than desirable area of Detroit. SO... WE BECAME THE TAKERS, on December 31st 2016, in order to make sure this little intact baby would not end up to be a puppy machine, chained out in a yard, or worse. She is a WONDERFUL dog and came potty trained, so at some point someone taught her right. GREAT with all cats, dogs, & kids Lucy made it to her better tomorrow and furever home on March 23rd, 2017 (left R pic) with the help of 4 Paws 1 Heart. Her new family LOVES camping so I'm sure Lucy will have many great adventures this summer! We could NOT have saved Lucy without vetting help from 4 Paws 1 Heart. 4P1H funded Lucy's wellness exam, vaccines, spay, AND her right eye entropion surgery, as well as a later Demodex Mange diagnosis. Nexgard, which is a flea/tic preventative that Lucy had just started on, is the treatment for that and 4P1H had already provided Lucy two dose of that, in addition to 2 doses HartGuard Plus to keep her HW neg status going. This little 13 month old sassy Sheeba Inu Mix got her better tomorrow with the help of 4 Paws 1 Heart. WE COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Wendy Stroup & Dianne Cauzillo! PAWer to the PAW! (''''')
A great big sincere "THANK YOU" to Diana, Rachel and Jo!! They rescued my little stray and found him a new home as well as much needed medical care. As posted earlier, every night he would sit on my step and look in my sliding glass door for hours - seeming to want warmth, light and companionship but also so afraid that it took me months to get within 3 feet of him. I put out a warming pad and a shelter from the winter wind and of course I would feed him when I fed my two (who can resist feeding a hungry kitty?). I really would have loved to keep him but with two rescues of my own and a husband who doesn't want another cat, I am so grateful he has found a loving home. Thank you, thank you, thank you 4 PAWS 1 HEART for the caring work you all do.
4 Paws 1 Heart has covered the medical needs of so many of my fosters. I would not be able to save kittens and cats if they weren't here for me. These folks are angels in my book. I love them to the moon and back!
I found a dog that looked like she had been on the road for awhile on my lawn one day.. I took him in and shared her on Facebook to see if I could find her owners, Diana responded and offered to help being a fellow SCS resident. She did not know me at all but out of the goodness=s of their organization and her heart offered to have Lucky spayed thru 4 Paws and One Heart if I could keep her...I absolutely kept her and always kept her posted to see if she had owners looking for her... I cannot not say enough about the people at 4 Paws One heart...they are saints on earth for what they do to help our furry friends
I first encountered 4 Paws 1 Heart when one of my ferals was injured. I was desperate to get medical help for him, but had no money. A bunch of my friends led me to 4P1H and this organization has been amazing from the moment I first came into contact with them. They've funded TNR for 6 of my ferals, plus medical treatment for 2 others. Without 4P1H I would never have been able to provide this level of care for my outside feral community that I love so much. Whenever my ferals are in need 4P1H steps up.
A momma and her 4 kitten's were rescued by a very kind person and 4 paws 1 heart cover all the vetting for this family I adopted one of the kittens 2 year's ago we just love our boy thanks to 4 Paw's 1 heart for vetting this family of 5
The awesome people at 4paws1heart always help they never turn thier back on a animal in need my favorite non profit
4 Paws 1 Heart is a wonderful organization. I found a kitten, that I thought had a broken leg
and when I contacted them, they immediately set up an appointment for the kitten. It
turned out the cat did not have a broken leg, as he started walking on it, so I cancelled the
appointment, but I was amazed at how they were willing to help!
I first really comprehended what 4 Paws 1 Heart does when they saved a kitten's life, and enriched our lives. They give animals a chance that normally wouldn't get one. My Snickers was found as a tiny kitten, in a frozen alley crying for help with his eyes encrusted shut. then 4 Paws 1 Heart team went into action and ultimately saved his life, giving him a second chance....and we adopted him. Since then I have been a faithful supporter of 4 Paws 1 Heart, not just because of this one incident, but because of all the ones that followed. They work together with rescues and organizations in helping with these medical costs - so your donation to 4 Paws 1 Heart goes to many animal organizations - donate now and spread the love!
Hello my name is Brian Dombrowski. I have helped rescue many cat's and dog's in the past few years. If it were not for 4paws1heart helping me help animals in need. I would not have been able to afford to help those animals. 4paws1heart is a blessing for animals that need pur help. Thank you for always helping caring people help afford to save precious animals lives. I appreciate all that you do for furry animals in need. Without 4paws1heart i would not have been able to rescue more then 18 cats and kittens. Around 10 dog's this is truly a great organization. Thank you with all my heart.
wonderful people helping animals--- hurt--abandoned -lost--new born--24/7 --year around....good people ....they need the help of everyone out there, to turn the cruelty and non caring around...When you help animals you help people and your self...Good job folks..
Diana and her people are so full of love for all those poor animals, please donate as often as possible, please!!!!!
They are absolutely wonderful and help so many animals in need. Thank you for your dedication to helping our furry friends!
I had been following 4P 1H on FB for a couple years. I was amazed at the amount of animals in need that they had helped. I started to donate to them. Then in October 2014, I was doing a little TNR & trapped an 8 wk old all black, male kitten in a residential area in Utica that I suspected someone had dumped. I already had 3 cats in my home so I had hoped to find him a home. Did some looking but could not find him an acceptable situation. Contacted 4P 1H and they agreed to take him "under their wing" which meant getting him neutered and his shots, if I agreed to keep him. How could I refuse! His name is Chance and he has been with me for almost 2 years.
Gina, Diana and the rest of the 4 Paws 1 Heart team are awesome! They help so many animals in our area and help people (like us) find rescues to add to our family.
Im so blessed to be a part of this group , 4 paws 1 heart is so amazing they have saved and helped so many helpless animals. I truly just cant say enough about them .
4 paws 1 heart is such amazing and wonderful group they are so caring and has helped to save so many animals lives im vary greatful to be such a part of 4 paws 1 heart ♡
4 Paws 1 Heart is an amazing organization that has helped me with numerous feral and social cats. They help with spay/neuter and any other medical they may need like an open wound, upper respiratory, fleas, ticks, etc. The social ones have found amazing forever homes. The feral cats are returned to original site and will not be reproducing anymore. None of this would have been possible without their help!
This amazing non profit helps medically fund animals needs. Very caring organization and will help in any way they can. They have helped with medical for the feral cats I have trapped, who would have otherwise suffered and continued breeding. They have also spayed/neutered friendly cats and kittens that I have found or trapped and they are now in loving homes. Without their generosity, these cats/kittens would have suffered greatly! Thanks 4P1H!!!
We were looking for a kitten to keep our older cat company. Saw a kitten on Facebook from 4 paws 1 heart. They said the one we picked would be a good fit for our lifestyle. Turns out, he was too much kitten for our cat and suggested an interim kitten, one that was still playful and could take the extra burden of entertaining off of our cat. We adopted both kittens and we couldn't be happier
Nothing but amazing experience and awesome things to say about this group.. They have helped me rescue & also personally. They have made a huge impact in the rescue community in the best way possible, they seem to take on some of the hardest cases, and truly change lives... They are the definition of rescue..
The gals of 4 Paws 1 Heart dedicate their lives to helping animals. They are true advocates for animal welfare. Each board member goes above and beyond for the animals in their care. When you donate, you can be 100% confidant that every dollar goes directly to an animal in need. Truly a worthy, local cause to support.
This is a fabulous organization. They do everything they say they will and sometimes more. They make it possible for smaller rescues to take in more dogs in a responsible way
This organization always goes above and beyond to help animals in need. Always.
This is one of the most giving, caring charities that exists. Diana Rascano is a great organizer and sincerely cares about abandoned, mistreated and needy animals! #1 in my book.
My first of many experiences with 4paws1heart include Diana Rascano spending Her Christmas morning (2013) seeking foster homes for my brother Ross Christy's several pets after he passed away that morning. 24/7/365...these are the best human beings I've ever met in my life.
4 Paws 1 Heart is an amazing group of people doing amazing work in my community and saving many lives of animals. I feel that they go above and beyond every time and never leave an animal behind. They use funds in the best way possible to maximize impact, every dollar goes to helping animals in need. I recommend supporting this group.
4 paws 1 heart is an amazing organization that helps thousands of homeless and abused animals. Thank you for all that you do!!!
4 paws 1 heart.... more like 1 paw 4 hearts as much as they care
4 paws 1 heart is an amazing organization!!! They helped with a kitten i found that needed to have her leg amputated. They were awesome & there every step of the way! I have since then had wonderful experience with them helping with vetting other animals that have been found & since adopted. They are amazing & the only charity that i have had such a wonderful experience with!
